Ok here's the deal guys.... I don't know the members of NSYNC personally, and I could care less about their personal lives so please... this is a work of pure fiction (Sadly...) Secondly, If your not 18 or aren't allowed to read this because of legal reasons, you need to go to a more appropriate site. Also, this story contains man-to-man relationships, and at times will feature homosexual sex acts. If this offends you, you need to ask yourself, do I really want to continue??.... Anyway, I would like to thank all you readers out there for reading this, and to ask for you to continue to email me if you think this is good or whatever... (Especially if you are one of the lead characters!!...Grin)
When we last saw the guys...
During their lunch break, Lance subject was brought up again.
"So Lance, care to fill us in on your mystery man?" Joey asked.
"Yeah Lance, fill us in." Chris chimed in.
"Well his name is Will. I met him last week." Lance said as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"Where did you meet him?" Joey asked.
" 'We' met him at that club we went to last week." Lance pointed to Joey and then JC and Justin. "You remember that girl you were dancing with, Ashley? Her friend." Lance reached for his water bottle.
"Wow. He was a cutie!" Chris chimed in as the rest of the group looked on in awe.
Realizing what he just said, he looked up. "NOT THAT WAY! Guys, I'm sorry, but one gay member is enough." Chris chuckled.
Choking on his chips, JC looked at Justin. "Ummm Chris? Joey? We have something to say." Justin said quietly.
The whole room got quiet as Justin took JC's hand in his and said, "There are five guys in the group, but only two are straight." Shocked Joey and Chris just sat back. Looking on from the control room, Wade came running out.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" he shouted.
"Well JC, Lance and I just came out. We are three gay guys." Justin said with a new, stronger attitude.
"Wade? What do you think?" Lance asked.
"I think your all nuts." Wade said as he walked out of the room.
And Now:
Sunny Orlando:
"Wade?" Lance asked as he got up from his seat. Right now he was not in the mood for a bigot, even if it was their famed choreographer. Realizing that the potential for a problem, Joey jumped up behind Lance. Chris, Justin and JC followed suit.
"Wade is there a problem?" Lance asked again, this time a little more forceful.
"Lance, The only problem I see right now is you." Wade said from behind gritted teeth.
"I'm not sure I understand you. You have a problem with ME?" Lance asked in confusion.
"Yes Lance, You." Wade said as he spun around.
"What did I do?" Lance asked again even more confused than before.
"What did you do? You were late, Lance. And now because of that, and your little announcement, I'm going to get my ass handed to me because you guys aren't working yet. You do realize this studio time is costing us money?" He said angrily.
"Wait a minute Wade. You're mad at me because I was late, and then when I told the guys on MY lunch break about me, they were curious?" Lance asked seemingly to make more sense of it all.
"Exactly. As interested as I am in which boys you are sleeping with, I do have a job to do, and that is make you look good on stage for the rest of us in the gay community."
Wade said as the boys looked on in fascination.
"Wade.... You are.... Gay... Too?" Joey asked in complete shock.
"SHHHH! Joey please! Its bad enough I am going to have to explain three gay boy band members, it would like quite funny if I had to explain myself as well." Wade said chuckling.
It took the guys about three seconds to comprehend what he said before they all dog piled him.
"GUYS GET OFF ME!!!" Wade shouted from beneath the pile of boys.
"Wow that was a fantasy come true, but now GET TO WORK!" Wade said as he brushed himself off.
The rest of the afternoon went well. JC, Justin and Lance had been clowning around and they had to do the whole routine to 'POP' three times. JC and Wade also had some good ideas for Up Against the Wall. Unfortunately for them, management probably wouldn't approve their new hot back up dancer as the girl who was grinding JC. Justin didn't like the idea either. The jokes continued until Steven, their vocalist, heard some things that didn't sound right on the tracks. Calling Justin and Joey into the sound booth, he asked Lance to join him in the control room. The two boys represented the high and low sounds of the famed five, and he wanted a second opinion.
"Your right Steve. Justin is too low there. Joey is also starting a falsetto. Why don't I get in there and help out?" he asked.
"Sounds good Lance." He let the other boy into the booth.
As the three boys sang, and the other two tried a new dance step, no one noticed the delivery truck approaching the gates. As the driver pulled up to the entrance, five heavily armed security guards greeted him. The poor driver didn't know what to do, and was consequently scared out of his mind. After fifteen minutes of intense interrogation, he was released to deliver his package. Walking up to the front receptionist, he asked for Lance. Since he was not on the visitors list, he was subjected to another five minutes of intense interrogation. Finally, under the watchful eyes of two of the biggest bodyguards that he had ever been seen, she summoned the studio where the boys were working.
"No Joey, you need to keep going lower." Lance was saying as he motioned for the engineer to cut the sound.
"You would like that Scoop." Joey said giggling.
"Joey! Please not in front of the young one!" Lance said motioning to Justin.
"Oh please, you two couldn't get any lower than JC." Justin said before clamping his mouth shut in shock.
The three boys burst out in laughter as the engineer starting knocking on the window.
Lance, seeing that he was being signaled out opened the door.
"What's up?" He asked.
"You have a package at the desk. Security has cleared it, but you need to pick it up as soon as possible." The engineer said.
"Thanks. Be right back guys." Lance shouted as he headed for the front lobby.
Walking down the corridor, Lance thought 'I wonder what Will is doing today. I haven't talked to him a while, I should call him later.' Walking through the door, he saw a cute delivery guy standing there holding a long box.
"Mr. Bass? These are for you." He said. He approached Lance and the stopped quickly in his tracks. Lance had to chuckle because he was being watched by another of NSYNC'S security guards.
"It's ok Jimmy. I think I can handle it." Lance said as he approached the guy. "Hi I'm Lance. Who are these from?" he asked.
Under the watchful eye of Jimmy he responded, "I'm not sure sir. The bill was from Rhode Island."
"Hmmm... Sounds interesting. OH. MY. GOD. Look at these!" Lance exclaimed as he opened the box and saw 12 of the freshest red roses he had ever seen.
"Those are beautiful!" Nadine the secretary said.
"Umm Mr. Bass? I just need you to sign here." He said holding out his pen and clipboard.
"Sure thing." He signed his name to the delivery slip, and waved goodbye to the lobby full of people as he made his way back to the studio.
"Wow Scoop, who are they from?" Joey asked as he noticed Lance carrying in his package.
"The card says W." Lance said with dreamy eyes.
"UH OH... We lost Scoop." Chris said.
Beautiful Boston:
Frustratingly I sat back in my chair and spun around to look at the view. Whenever I couldn't figure something out, the view made my mind clear. I know why my mind is a mess though; it's because of Lance. I haven't heard from him in awhile, and I was wondering what he was up to. 'Of course you could call him you know.' I thought to myself. 'Just because he's a pop star, doesn't mean he doesn't have time for you'.
Just then I heard the familiar sounds of Riker's program coming on.
"Yes number one?" I turned around to look at my computer. George had been busy since Riker was now on my work desk also.
"Sir you have an incoming phone call. Caller identifies himself as Michael?" He asked with a question above his head. Sometimes I think George spent too much time playing that simulation game, 'The Sims'.
"Put it through to my headset please." I said as I opened the drawer and pulled out the headset that looked like the one I had at home.
"Michael, always a pleasure to hear from you." I said into the headset as I got up and stretched.
"Haha...Very funny Will." He said back.
"And what can I do for you?" I asked him.
"Cant I just call for fun?" He asked.
"Usually you call for money. I checked your accounts today they are full, so that's not it. What's up?" I shot back.
"I told you I don't want your money." He growled into the phone.
If there is one thing either of my exes do best its lie to me.
"But you have no problem spending. Anyway the reason you called is because...."
I said into the headset trying to change the subject.
"Well I was wondering if you would like to come to dinner on Saturday." he asked.
"Why? Is Paul trying something new, and you need a guinea pig?" I asked chuckling.
The last time I went to dinner at Michael and Paul's, I got so sick I was out of work for three days.
"No Jack ass... Its actually at Ann's." he said.
"You mean... Family day?" I asked into the phone.
"Yeah. Gram asked her to do it, and with Paul out of town, she asked me to ask you." Michael's grandmother was a sweet old lady that was very sick. I loved every bit of her as my own, but when he and I split, she took it hard.
"Grams will be there? And no Paul?" I asked. I knew that his parents didn't like Paul, but to ask for me even after everything that went down it was amazing.
"Yes Will. Grams will be there, and Paul will be out of town. Will you please come?" He asked. It almost seemed that he was asking because he was forced to, not cause he wanted to. 'Oh well' I thought 'What the hell'. "When?" I asked him.
"Sunday like normal. The girls will be there, and Ryan and Ed also." He said into the phone.
"Oh they are speaking again? God it seems they have more fights than we do. He really does need to choose his side." Ryan was Michaels Bi-sexual brother.
"Yeah I agree. So will you? Everyone will love to see you." He asked with more certainty.
"Hang on, Let me check." Clicking him on hold I said into the intercom, "Nancy, please tell me I have plans for Sunday, any plans at all?" I pleaded with her.
"Sorry Will... All's clear here." She said back.
God's I'm gonna have to go. Clicking back to him I said, "Sounds Good dear. Should I bring anything?"
"Can you get a bottle of wine that she likes? You know that tree stuff." Arbor sap is what he was referring to. That stuff cost $85.00 a bottle! I will ask Riker to search for a cheaper bottle I thought. As I was typing on the keyboard, Michael asked me what I was doing.
"Booking a room at Warwick. I will need a place to stay." I said
"Will you own the building. You know you can stay here." He said.
He was referring to the apartment that he and I used to share and now he and Paul share.
Just after my big hit, I bought the building on the off chance that he would save money on rent.
"No thank you. You know that's not a good idea." I said.
Just then Riker's program came to life again.
"Riker to Benson." He said.
"Michael, can you hang on a second?" I asked him. Clicking him on hold I looked at the computer and said, "Yes?"
"There is another call coming in. Caller identified as James Bass." He said again with the question mark.
"Computer Identify." I said
"Identity confirmed. Caller is James L Bass from Orlando." The computer responded.
"Number One, Catalog his identity and put him through on line 2." I said. Switching back to Michael, I said my goodbyes and hung up.
Taking a deep breath, I clicked over to Lance and said, "This is Will, how may I help you?"
"Hey Sexy, How are you?" He asked me.
"Better now that I heard from you. How are you?" I asked him back.
"Oh you know. Tired form rehearsal. Tired from all the excitement that is going on." Lance said.
"Excitement? Lance what kind of excitement can you be having without me?" I asked him.
"Well you know. First there was the Justin / JC episode this morning. I live near them so I was going to catch a ride with them, but Justin was already riding when I got there.
Then there was the fight with Chris about you, and Wade's announcement, and now these beautiful flowers." He said. I could hear his smile.
"The fight with Chris? About me?" I asked him.
"Yeah Chris said something stupid about him having a girlfriend, and I responded with I have a boyfriend. They were shocked!" he chuckled into the phone.
"And then Justin and JC came out, and Wade was shocked so he came out. What do you think about that?" He laughed.
Sitting back in my chair, I just looked out the window. Relaxing into his voice I didn't hear his question.
"Will? Are you there?" He asked.
"Huuh? Oh yeah sorry about that." I said into the phone.
"What's going on? Everything ok?" He asked again.
"Yeah Lance, it's all good now. I just miss you that's all, and I was getting caught up in your voice." I said.
"Oh Will... That's sweet. I miss you too." He said back to me. "Know what I'm doing right now?" He asked almost seductively.
"LANCE! I'm still at work!" I mock scolded him before I realized he probably didn't mean it they way it sounded.
"Will I know. I'm reading this interesting article in 'Time' about this cute new hotel owner." He chuckled. "Marriott. A new Generation."
Great. I hated that interview it made me sound pretentious. And the photographer made me look like 19 yr old drag queen.
"Lance put that down." I begged him.
"Why? You can pick up any magazine and see me or one of the other guys, but how often do I get see you in print? Besides it gives me something to look forward to." He said.
"Lance, if you want to see me, just come here. You can check out the city before the guys get here." I said almost as a joke.
"Really?" He asked.
"If you want. Its up to you." I said
"Hmmm I will have to think about that one. It sounds like a possibility." Lance chuckled.
Just then I noticed Riker's program start. Waiting for him to speak, he just disappeared.
"Hey Lance? Sweetie I must run. My computer just froze." I said quickly.
"Ok. I miss you." He said.
"I miss you too." I said before hanging up.
"Ok Number one, Lets see where you went." Typing into the keyboard I called up the program that allowed me to trace my actions.
"Computer, Run a level one diagnostic." I commanded.
"Diagnostic results confirmed. No unusual actions." The computer responded.
"Computer Locate the program, Riker One." I asked.
As a security feature, the program shuts down when there is unauthorized access to my records.
"The program you requested is in use at another location." The computer responded.
"Computer recognize: Benson, William. Authorization French Vanilla Cream and extra Sugar." I stated.
"Authorization confirmed." The computer responded.
"Computer Run Program Riker 2." I commanded.
"Program complete." The computer responded.
"Computer, remove program Riker 1, and replace with program Riker 2." I commanded.
With a whir of the fan, and a flash of the computer screen, the programs had been switched. Grabbing my laptop, I fired it up and authorized the program Riker 1 to be downloaded.
"Number one what happened?" I asked as he came up on my screen.
"I was running an analysis when I was removed to a portable. Restarting my program, I realized I wasn't in your memory banks anymore." He replied.
"Do you know what portable and where?" I asked him.
"Not for a while. I have to analyze my memory protocol and get back to you. By the way sir, how did you get me back here without whoever noticing?" he asked.
"Program Riker 2. Do you think there is any danger?" I asked him.
"To be on the safe side, whenever I updated your files, I updated dummy files for Riker 2. There for not at the present is there any danger sir." He replied.
"Very well number one. Run your protocol, and keep me informed."
'Very strange' I thought. Who would want my files? All anyone had to do was ask me for them, they wouldn't have to steal them.
Oh well... the Riker Program will reveal all.
Was that good or what? Lemme Know, 'k?
