Wow... I didn't know I was creating a masterpiece here from my own little warped since of reality. Oh well, I just want to say thank you to all you loyal fans out there. This had started out as just a fantasy of mine, but if I am making your day complete, keep reading!
~J~
That being said, here's the deal....I don't know the members of NSYNC personally, and I could care less about their personal lives so please... this is a work of pure fiction (Sadly...) Secondly, If your not 18 or aren't allowed to read this because of legal reasons, you need to go to a more appropriate site. Also, this story contains man-to-man relationships, and at times will feature homosexual sex acts. If this offends you, you need to ask yourself, do I really want to continue??.... Anyway, email me if you think this is good or whatever... (Especially if you are one of the lead characters!!...Grin)
When we last saw the guys...
"Wow, you are a fan of music huuh?" He asked me.
"You know it. This one is my favorite." I grabbed a cd By Kenny G and popped it in.
Suddenly the room was swathed in lower light and the smooth sounds of his saxophone.
"Sorry about that..." I said as I made my way to the computer.
"No leave it like that. Its nice after the glamour lights." He said referring to the lights of his profession. As I made my way around the room, I noticed he was swaying to the music.
"Mr. Chasez? Do you know this song?" I asked him.
"Yes I do. I used to listen to him all the time." He said as he hummed the melody.
Just joking with my new friend I sauntered up to him and asked, "May I have this dance?"
Not knowing what to say he just nodded.
"Wow if I knew it was going to be that easy, I would have asked you a long time ago!" I said as he pulled me into his arms. Wow, I thought Justin is lucky to have this guy. Of course I wanted Lance, but if it didn't work out, I would definitely want to get with JC. Thinking of Lance as JC and I maneuvered around my spacious living room, I quickly fell into the moment. Looking up at JC, I saw he was feeling it to. Out of nowhere, He reached down and kissed me.
And Now:
As the song faded away and reality struck us both, we pulled away from each other with me heading to the window, and JC finding something amusing on my desk to play with.
It was full minute or possible two before I heard him clear his throat. Holding up my hand, indicating he should remain quiet, I slowly turned to face him.
"Well now... Isn't this just a grand situation?" I asked him as I headed for the sofa.
"Will... I Uh...." JC tried to stammer.
Cutting him off I said, "Don't. Just let me talk, Okay? JC, I would be a fool to say that we should forget about it. You and I both know what we felt. True it was nothing compared to Lance, or Justin, but we need to face this. You're a very attractive man, and smart and funny, and anyone would kill to have you, but I can see it in your eyes, dude. You are taken. Ya know when I was bored a few years ago, I decided to go back to school and get another degree, this time in psychology. The first thing they tell you is the windows are the eyes of the soul. And well, JC, all I see is Justin." I said while looking at him intently.
"Will, I just want you to know that I would never hurt anyone. I know how it feels to be hurt, and I don't want to wish it on anyone. I feel like this is all happening so fast!" JC said with tears starting to form in his eyes.
Pulling closer to him I asked "JC? Did I miss something? What's happening to fast?"
"Everything! Will don't you see? I'm afraid of getting hurt, so I am starting to hurt the people I love the most. For Justin, I would give up everything, and I feel like he is pushing me away!" JC sobbed as he sniffed back his tears.
"JC? What are you trying to say? Is that why the sudden change in plans?" I asked him.
Looking at me with swollen eyes, he just nodded and continued.
"Justin was acting weird the other day, all grumpy like and wouldn't talk to me. We kind of had a few words, and I decided that I should come up here earlier than planned. I tried to get Lance to come, but he's been acting strange also." He said as he sniffled.
I had noticed that I couldn't get a hold of Lance either, but kept that part to myself.
"Well brighten up kid. I know that you love Justin, and I'm sure that at this very minute, he is in hell without you. Why don't you do this? Go call him, and tell him much you miss him, don't wait for a response, just tell him everything you just told me." I said.
Looking up at me with clearer eyes, he smiled his thanks. Without thinking about it more than should be, I pulled him close and kissed his forehead.
"Justin usually does that when I'm upset. Lance has a good guy." He said as he made his way into the spare bedroom. "Now if only I can find him to let him know that." I said reaching for my phone.
Back in beautiful Orlando:
Lance was sitting, staring actually at his computer. He was trying to respond to some emails that he was neglecting, but every time he wrote what he wanted to say, it looked like gibberish. Getting frustrated he stopped his email account and opened his games folder. He had a secret from the guys that whenever he was aggravated about something, he played computer simulated free cell. For some reason that game had a calming effect on him. Starting his game, he started to think about JC and Justin. He wondered how they made it all that time without being noticed. As he looked back of course there were the signs, (They were always roommates, they went everywhere together, they bought a house together, they waited for each other when it was time to eat...) Lance just hoped that he and Will could find that kind of love together. Will. Suddenly it dawned on him that he hadn't heard from Will in a while and opened his phone to find that it had been off. Flipping it open and turning it on, he found he had plenty of voice messages.
With a sigh, he flipped the phone closed thinking he would listen to them from his computer, it was easier that way. Without warning, he had a slight pain in his chest, and a sudden panic attack took over him. 'Uh Oh' he thought. 'Let me call someone fast.'
Grabbing his phone, he dialed the only number he could remember, Justin's.
Justin had been wandering around all day in a dead funk. Nothing he did seemed to take away his unhappiness. He tried working on his album, but nothing seemed to make sense. He tried to answer some email, but everything he wrote sounded crappy. He was just about to take a nap when his phone rang. Looking at the number hoping it was JC, He was disappointed to see Lance.
"James, what can I do for you?" He asked in his most business like tone.
"Justin..... Help..... Pain..... Chest......" Lance said before breathing hard.
"Lance?!? Is that you?" Justin shouted into the phone.
All he heard was a sigh and then a loud groan.
"Hang on Lance, I will be right there!!!" Justin shouted as he ran out the door.
In his car, Justin speed dialed JC, but got a busy signal. Trying Chris, all he got was voicemail, and thankfully Joey answered his phone.
"Speak." Joey said.
"Scoop is in trouble... he has having trouble breathing!!" Justin screamed.
"Curly? Is that you? Where's JC?" Joey asked.
"Yes Joey, Its me! JC is in Boston, and I need help!" Justin said as he rounded the curve into Lance's driveway. Hanging up his phone, Justin ran into the house screaming Lance's name. Hearing what sounded like ragged breathing coming from the den area, Justin burst open the door to see Lance lying still on the floor.
"Lance? Are you ok?" He asked.
"Justin... Can't breathe...." He said, as he looked helpless.
"Lance I'm calling the paramedics, Hang on..." Justin said as he approached Lance with his phone.
"No... Hyperventilating... get me a bag..." Lance said between ragged breaths.
"JUSTIN! LANCE!" Joey bellowed from the front entrance way.
"THE DEN!" Justin yelled from Lance's side.
Joey burst in with a baseball bat ready to strike.
If Lance weren't in his arms, he would have laughed hard at the site. "Joey, go downstairs and get a brown paper bag." Justin commanded as he got a glass of water for his friend. In a flash, Joey was back, and Lance was breathing into a bag.
"Easy Lance, its gonna be ok." Justin was smoothing down his friends back.
"Thanks Justin. And Joey. You guys are really good friends." Lance said looking at Justin.
"Lance? Has this happened before?" Joey asked.
"Yes but only once. I'm fine now, thank you very much...." Lance said trying to stand.
Not realizing he was too weak to stand, he nearly collapsed on Joey who was standing nearby. Picking Lance up, Joey carried him into his bedroom and put him on his bed.
"Lance, I'm worried. Can I at least call your mom?" Justin was asking as he walked into the bedroom.
"No, you most definitely may not. If you call her, you wont have time to go get me stuff from the drugstore before her plane arrives." Lance tried to joke as he made his way under the covers.
"Lance, we are not kidding. Let us help you." Joey said.
"Fine, You want to help? Joey there is a full kitchen of baked goods downstairs. Please take some home on your way out. Good night." Lance said as he drifted off to sleep.
"Joey, he's right. Maybe we should go and let him sleep a little." Justin said.
"Justin, I don't want to leave him. But I agree he needs his rest." Joey responded.
"How about you go home, and I stay here in my room? Then later if you get bored you can find Chris and come watch movies or whatever." Justin said. Nodding his head for approval, Joey headed down the stairs saying if he needed anything to call him.
"Justin, I appreciate you coming over here and all, but you can go to." Lance's voice startled Justin.
"I thought you were asleep." Justin said looking at his friend.
"No. I just wanted Joey to leave me alone. He was asking questions I didn't want to answer." Lance said as he slid up in his bed.
"Like if this ever happened to you before? Lance, why couldn't you answer that?" Justin asked confusedly.
Chuckling dryly, Lance responded, "Because it happened the first time I had a crush. It's something weird that happens to my body that I can't control. Did you ever think about you and JC not being together anymore? And you feel like you would die?" Lance asked Justin. "That's what its like for me. I just get these odd sensations that if someone doesn't like me, I would just fall apart." Lance sighed.
"Do you think this has to do with Will?" Justin asked cautiously.
"Yes and No. I haven't talked to him in awhile, and I had the opportunity to go with JC to see him, but I just couldn't face him." Lance said.
" Face who? Will or JC?" Justin asked even more confused.
"Actually you." Lance said as he looked at Justin.
"Me?" Justin asked.
"Yes Justin you. You have been battling with Will for space in my brain for that past two days. Ever since the other night, I just can't get you out of my head." Lance said.
"Lance, I don't know what to say. You know that I'm with JC right? And you have met Will right?" Justin asked.
"No Justin. I mean yes Justin. I mean Justin I care about you as a brother, and when we kissed, it was like well kissing my brother. I just don't want to hurt you or JC or Will or anyone." Lance was crying now.
"Oh Lance. I feel the same way!" Justin cried as he slid into the bed with Lance.
Pulling Justin into a hug Lance asked, "So, we are ok?"
Smiling his famous smile, "Always and forever, Brotha..." Justin responded.
Suddenly, the two boys heard the sound of simultaneous cell phones ringing.
Grabbing his, Justin looked and saw that it was JC.
"Sorry Brotha, but gotta take this one...." He said as he answered his phone.
Lance was looking at his and saw that it was Will.
"Hello there." He said quietly into his phone.
"Lance? Is that you? I was getting used to your answering machine." Will chuckled.
"Sorry about that, I was kind of busy. How are you?" Lance asked.
"Well I have to keep this huge pop star entertained, and I don't know how. I was hoping he would bring his friends, but they didn't show. So I am kind of bored." Will said.
Giggling, Justin held up a piece of paper for Lance to see.
'Get dressed, lets go there!' The paper said.
Nodding ok, Lance continued with Will.
"So does that invitation still apply?" Lance asked directly.
"Huuh? Of course it does hon, but what will I do with JC?" Will asked.
"I'm sure we will find something for him to do. Let me go, and I will call you with the flight information, ok?" Lance asked.
"Hey Lance, Just one thing before you go." Will said.
"Shoot." Lance said.
"I Love you." Will said.
"I Love you too Will." Lance replied.
Getting the signal from Justin, he finished his conversation with Will and headed to get dressed.
Up in Boston:
"So what time does the flight get in?" JC asked as he walked into the bedroom.
"Lance said 9:00. Its quarter to five now, so we have sometime to do whatever." I said as I walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom.
"How about shopping?" JC asked.
"As long as you don't where that stupid secret identity surprise. You look fake in it." I said as I walked into my closet. Pulling out some of Michaels close that I accidentally took with me when I moved out here, I threw him a shirt and some sunglasses.
Putting them on, he looked better already. As we walked towards the living room, I saw Riker's program come to life.
"Riker to Benson" He said.
"Wow.. What is that?" JC asked me.
"That is my computer. I had my head engineer create a holographic program based on Star Trek." I said. Turning to the computer, I responded, "Go ahead number one."
"Sir, you files have been accessed three times in the last 10 minutes." He said.
"Riker 1 or 2?" I asked.
"2 Sir. By the same portable as last time." He said.
"Interesting. Is Riker 2 there now?" I asked him.
"Yes sir, he is." Came the reply.
"Do a memory search while he's there. Get inside his program and tell me all you can." I said as I looked at JC.
"By the way sir, Mr.'s Bass and Timberlake have boarded their plane, and take off will be in approximately five minutes." He said as he started his mind search program.
"So I take it that's how you follow people?" JC asked as we walked towards the door.
"Not really, that's how people follow me." I said as we walked downstairs.
Since I had been here pretty much for a while, I asked JC if there was something he wanted to see. He responded by saying that when they were here last, Justin wanted to see Quincy Market. As we headed over to the train station, we started our conversation about Justin.
"So, Do you love Justin?" I asked in a quiet voice.
The shocked look I got from him seemed to answer my question.
"Yes, I do very much." He said sheepishly.
"You seem like there's something your not telling me." I said as I looked at him.
"No, there's not. I just am not sure how to respond to that question still. I'm so used to people not knowing." He said.
"Well let me play psychologist then, tell me when you first fell." I said to him.
"Well it back a long time ago. Justin and I used to play on a TV show called Mickey Mouse Club, ever hear of it?" He said. Shaking my head no, he continued.
"Well there was this one episode where Justin was supposed to eat something good for him, but he was supposed to be sick at the thought. Well he was really sick from it, and was behind the stage throwing up every chance he got. After the shoot, I went back to the dressing rooms to get changed and called my mom asking her advice on how to make him feel better. She sent me to the cafeteria to get chicken noodle soup, and go and hang out with him. So I went, and as I walked into his room, I saw Brittany leaving, and Justin was upset. As I announced my presence, he looked like so cute when he lit up like that, I just knew that I was gonna spend my life with him." JC chuckled.
We continued our conversation about how life was like and why he chose his profession and as he talked I noticed a cute guy moving closer and closer to us. I kept noticing that as he was moving closer he was looking JC up and down, and I thought uh oh, he recognizes him. Keeping my eyes on the guy, I was talking to JC like it was no big deal and I was paying attention, but in reality I was focused on the approaching stranger. As our stop neared, JC and I stood up and headed for the exit doors. JC was talking about the stage crew, and was blissfully unaware that the stranger stood up as well. Making a hasty exit off the train, I turned to see that the stranger was right behind JC. Still unaware of what was happening, JC was rambling on about the lighting in St. Luis when he suddenly stooped mid sentence. The man had gotten close enough to JC that he pulled something out his coat, and they both stood looking at me. JC for help, the man with the weapon confused for a split second. As I approached them both, I felt the point in my back, and a raspy breath on my neck. The voice thin and raspy said, "Don't make any sudden moves."
