Ok here's the deal guys.... I don't know the members of NSYNC personally, and I could care less about their personal lives so please... this is a work of pure fiction (Sadly...) Secondly, If your not 18 or aren't allowed to read this because of legal reasons, you need to go to a more appropriate site. Also, this story contains man-to-man relationships, and at times will feature homosexual sex acts. If this offends you, you need to ask yourself, do I really want to continue??.... Anyway, email me if you think this is good or whatever.. (Especially if you are one of the lead characters!!... Grin)
When we last saw the guys...
J.C. was asking, "What the hell happened today? In the kitchen?" excitedly.
Lance started to stammer, "JC... I...I... I didn't mean.."
"No Lance, I'm thanking you!! Gods I Love Justin so much, and it's unbelievable how much I can't stand not showing my affection for him. Thank you soooo much!!!!" With that, JC pulled Lance into a hug. Just as soon as he did that, the waiter came back with their drinks.
"Here you go sirs... Can I get you anything else?" he asked. As soon as he said that, he got a look at the two of them. "Hey, do you know who you guys look like in this light? You guys look like the guys from NSYNC."
"We get that all the time," JC said.
"Well whoever you are, you two make a cute couple" the waiter said, and then realized how stupid he sounded.
"Thank you, but were not together" JC responded.
"Oh of course not. I didn't mean...." The waiter said but Lance cut him off.
"Its ok, he's like a brother to me. My wife is at home. Here is your check" and handed him the money for the drinks. "Thank you sir" the waiter replied and headed off to the next section, obviously embarrassed. "If only he know, Lance, If only he know" JC said as he got up from the table.
And now...
MAIN BAR CLUB RAIN:
"Well look who it is. The two dancing queens!!" My brother said sarcastically as my sister and I approached the bar. "I'd rather be a dancing queen than a dancing FOOL!" My witty comments made my sister snicker. "Uh Oh.. Looks like somebody has and admirer." My sister pointed out as she took her bar stool.
"Look, Over There JR." She was showing me the bartender.
"God Susie.. Will you just quit it? Just cause a guy looks at me doesn't mean he wants to hookup with me. Did it ever occur to you that he might want you? Or God Forbid, He look over here to see if we wanted a drink since ya know it is his job!" I practically shouted at her. As I motioned for him to come over, I heard the sobs start. "Susie, I'm sorry. Its just you know, too soon after Michael and I don't want to get hurt again."
"No. JR your right. I just want to see you happy, you are my baby brother and I would give everything to see your smile again. You know what happened with Michael wasn't your fault, and I can't stand to see you upset. You deserve better." As she was talking I could see she was biting back her tears.
Just then, the bartender approached.
"Hi." He stated nonchalantly. "Can I get you guys a drink?" he asked in a deep southern accent.
Since southern accents and guys with facial hair have got to be my two biggest weaknesses, I stammered "a... a... Bud Please... Make thththat two..." Wow I thought to myself.. I haven't been tongue tied in quite awhile.
"Sure thing... cutie." He said that last part under his breath, but along with my other abilities, I can pick up when people say things they aren't supposed to.
Turning back to my sister who was coming out of her full cry fest, I handed her a napkin and pulled her close. "SHHH Susie... its ok now. Here is a napkin to dry your eyes with. Just because I am gay doesn't mean I wear makeup, and if I did, it would never be that messy!" We both laughed at that last comment.
Just then, the bartender arrived back with our beers. He put one in front of my sister, and I noticed the one he pushed towards me had something slipped under it. Pulling the paper out I noticed in nice neat handwriting the words, " Paul. 521-8976. Call me anytime cutie."
"Gods I hate it when you're right" I said to my sister who was now standing behind me. "Not one I told you so, or you will be walking back to NY." I teased her. Signally Paul with a wave and a smile, I grabbed my sister and headed back out to the dance floor.
VIP ROOM:
"Hey Lance? Can I have my boyfriend back now?" Justin said as he slid into the booth next to JC.
"Sure Thang Just man. We were headed out to the dance floor anyway." Lance replied.
Looking around very carefully, Justin grabbed JC's hand and squeezed it tightly.
'I love you' he mouthed silently.
'I love you more' JC mouthed back.
"Oh PLEASE you two make me sick. Where's Joey anyway?" Lance questioned Justin as they started to get up from the table.
"Oh you know Joe. Dancing with some drunk floozy." Justin responded without taking his eyes off of JC. Noticing this, JC quickly made a face that made Justin giggle.
"What's so funny you two?" Lance turned around to ask.
"Oh Nothing Lance.... Come-on let's find you a man." JC replied.
As they moved toward the dance floor, Lance suddenly spotted Joey.
"Wow.. She's pretty." Lance said to deaf ears as he realized JC and Justin were engrossed in each other.
"Hey you guys. This is Ashley. Ashley these are the other three J's: Josh, Justin, and James." Joey stated as he made his way towards them.
"Ah Joe?" JC asked with a little concern showing.
"It's ok Josh, I'm in the business. I work for Virgin. I won't blow your cover." Ashley replied. "Besides if I did, how else would I get to be in the middle of the dance floor with four of the most gorgeous guys ever?"
"Great. Let's Go Boogie!" Lance shouted as the group started to make its way to the middle of the floor.
MAIN BAR:
"It's Will, right?" I turned to the voice that was behind me. I saw a very pretty redhead standing there looking right at me.
"Yes. Have we met?" I asked in an icy tone. Since life has become very precious to me, I don't take well to people asking me personal questions.
"Yeah, you're staying at the Sunterra-Powhatten resort over on great lakes right?" She asked.
I eyed her with suspicion as I asked, "How do you know that?"
" My name is Elizabeth, and I work in the Palatial Spa. I met you at orientation on Saturday." She explained.
"Oh Cool." Gods I hope she doesn't hit on me. I'm too drunk to put her down nicely, I thought to myself.
"Hi. I'm Elizabeth. You must be Will's Wife." I heard her introduce herself.
My sister just giggled. "Sorry but Will is currently single. I'm his sister, Sue."
"Oh My. I'm sorry. I don't know where I got that from." She started to look uncomfortable.
"It's ok Elizabeth. This is my brother Ben. Ben this is Elizabeth, she works at the condos." I introduced them. Thankfully my tactic worked. As soon as they met, Ben and Elizabeth where entranced by each other. They seemed to have fallen out of our world and into their own.
"So, I have a group of friends in the middle dancing. Care to join us?" Even though the question was posed to Ben, we all answered by following her to the middle of the floor.
MAIN DANCE FLOOR CLUB RAIN:
The music was a mix of techno, rap, reggae, and any other noise that you could get a beat from. Being the youngest members of the group, Lance and Justin immediately started bopping to the beats. JC was having a hard time finding his rhythm, but once it was established, he appeared to move in perfect synchronization to everyone else. Joey and Ashley appeared to have hit it off really well also, and al started to loosen up and let the music take them.
Right near them, Elizabeth's group was dancing. Ben and Elizabeth hit it off really well, and seemed to have found their own groove, while I found a pretty girl that was more interested in what was below my belt than the music. More than once I had to remove her hand from my inner thighs and although it felt good, and there was a lot of stimulation, it just felt weird. Almost like it was a dream, and I was experiencing it from someone else.
Almost 10 minutes passed when the crowd got bigger, pushing the two groups even closer. While Justin had a careful eye on JC, he started to dance with Michelle, a girl from the resort that worked with Elizabeth. As they danced, they ended up pushing Joey and Ashley into me. "What the fuck dude... watch what you are doing!" I turned to scream. All of a sudden, I felt her arms wrap around my neck, and her pulling me into a deep hug. "WILL!!!!!" She screamed. "I haven't seen you in years!" I looked at her in amazement since, here standing before me, was the mother of my son. "Ashley? What the fuck are you doing here?"
"I took Matt down here to see mom, and then came out for the night!" She shouted. Ashley was fully widowed to a naval captain, and her mother moved them here to Orlando after he died.
"What are you doing here?" She asked me.
"My niece got married, and I decided to stay around awhile later. Matt is with your mom, here?" I asked her in return.
"Yeah. Oh hey, I want you to meet a few friends of mine. Joey? This is my best friend from college, Will Benson." She shouted as she grabbed a big Italian looking guy from behind.
"Oh.. Hey pleased to meet you." Joey said.
"Hi. Likewise." I continued to look behind him. Standing there where three very gorgeous men, one of who was looking directly at me. I could tell he was sizing me up, but for what I didn't know yet.
"Hey Guys? I want you to meet one of Ashley's friends. This is Will, right?" he looked in my direction. I nodded and he continued, "This is Josh, Justin, and James."
Wow. Now I know that I had a lot to drink, but this would be too much.
"YOUGUYSLOOKLIKENSYNC!" I rambled.
"Huuh?" The shorter one named James asked.
"Sorry, You guys look like the guys from NSYNC." I repeated slowly.
"Oh that. We get that a lot. We are actually doubles. The studio has them for when one member gets sick or hurt or can't make it somewhere." James replied looking sad.
"Oh. That's cool. But at least you get to meet the band." I tried to make light of the situation, but for some reason, James's down attitude seemed to have a worse effect on me than normal. My sister, noticing my discomfort asked, " Why don't we go get something to drink. Anyone else care for anything?" After a chorus of No Thanks,
we headed off to the main bar.
After Will had left, Lance had excused himself to use the bathroom. 'All right Bass, Pull yourself together. This is isn't helping.' He thought to himself as he started to tear up. He was sure from the moment he saw him that Will was gay, and now the perfect opportunity cause that Ashley chick apparently knew him. The one time he does speak, and what does he say? Something about meeting the band. Lance knew he could have pulled it off better, but you know how things go. One thing leads to another and suddenly everything falls apart. "SHIT." Lance yelled as he punched the door with his fists, and headed to the bar.
"So, Having fun yet?" I approached my brother who was seated in exactly the same spot as when I had first came up to the bar.
"Yeah a whole lot more now." He said with a sparkle in his eye.
"Benjamin Steven! What the hell happened to your neck?" I screeched when I noticed the purple bruise beginning on his neck.
"I am 37 years old. My mother is home in bed. Leave me alone!" He snapped at me.
"Sorry, I was just.. I was just... looking out for you." I pleaded with him.
"Well you should look out for yourself. The guy who is sitting at the bar behind me has been looking at you since you walked up here. I can see it in your glasses." He smiled to himself.
"Who, that James guy? The one who is a friend with Ashley's new man? PuhLease... haven't I taught you anything? He's sooooo not gay..." I said looking over at James. I was surprised to see him looking at me back. He kind of smiled and I smiled back.
"See? I told you so. Now here's what your going to do. I'm no expert on the whole gay thing, but when a girl likes a guy, she likes to be alone when he makes his move. I'm gonna go to the bathroom, and when I come back, I want to see some digit's. And not the bartenders either, dumbass. Good luck." And with that he hopped off his stool and headed in the direction of the bathrooms.
Lance just sat there silently observing Will and the other man converse. He was trying to come up with different ways to approach him. Should he send him a beer? Nah. Too cliché. Should he just go and talk to him? Prolly his best bet, but who has balls for that?
Suddenly he heard Paul, the bartender's voice near him. "Hey kid, you gonna go talk to him or what?"
Lance was at a loss for words.
"The guy at the end right? With the black shirt, blonde hair and yellow glasses? Dude he's a catch. Go for it." Paul just stood there.
"I don't even know if he's gay or not. And I don't want to make an ass out of myself if he's not." Lance replied
Paul leaned in closer. " I'll let you in on a little secret. He is. And you better make your move soon, cause if you don't I'm gonna and never let him go." Paul paused when someone new walked up to the bar. "Think about it kid. Just do it."
Looking up, Lance Notice the other guy had gotten up and left.
'Now's your chance. Go do it before you lose your nerve.' Lance said to himself.
Slowly he got up and walked down to the bar.
I noticed someone sit down next to me, but didn't look up. I was lost as to what my brother said. My family knows really not to mess with my personal life, but they seem to anyway. I just was about to order another beer when he spoke.
"Hi." A simple greeting that sent shivers down my spine.
As I looked up, all I could see was his green eyes.
"Hello." I responded. I couldn't look away. "I'm James" I heard him say.
"I remember you. Your Ashley's friend right?" He seemed interested.
"Yeah, I'm Will. Nice to meet you again." Uh Oh. He's got a southern accent. I couldn't quite place it, yet I was helpless for it.
"Will, you look like you could use another drink." He motioned for Paul to come over.
"My friend and I need a few more drinks. Care to help us out?" he asked obviously proud about something.
"Sure thing. A couple of beers for a couple of cute guys, coming right up." Paul said with a smirk.
"Ha Ha. He's a funny guy eh James?" I said to him. Now all of a sudden my fog was lifted.
"Yeah he is. So I heard you say your niece got married. You aren't that old yet are you?"
SHIT. I did not just say that!! Lance thought quickly.
Seeing the embarrassment stemming on my new friends face, I replied, " I'm 24. My niece was borne 6 weeks before me and now she is married. One last man to watch out for thankfully." I said as I finished off my beer.
Lance just stared at me in shock.
"I'm sorry did I say something to offend you?" I noticed his look of shock.
"No dude.. You just implied, you know..." Lance trailed off.
"Implied what? That I like guys? Sure as shit do kid." I said as I looked over at him. He continued to stare at me.
"James. I'm gay. There was no implication there. I hope that you aren't offended cause if you are, that's tough shit. I can't stand people who are so self righteous that they cannot even see past their own noses." I shouted as I started to stand.
"Will, Please sit down. I was only shocked because I can't say it out loud yet." Lance stated as I fell to my stool. Again the boy had me floored.
"What do you mean you can't say it out loud? You are gay?" I asked him incredulously.
Lance nodded his head affirmatively. I don't know what did it first, the alcohol or my own in abilities to keep my mouth shut but I said, "Well Damn. Leave it to me to attract the cutest guy in here. And he's gay. How do ya like them apples?"
"You think I'm cute?" Lance asked with a chuckle.
"Why, Don't you?" I asked him in return.
"Hmmm... Compared to you, I don't think so." He said as he sipped his beer.
"Hey Scoop, there ya are. Joey left with that girl, and me and Just are kind of tired so we want to head out soon, is that cool?" JC asked as he took the seat next to Lance.
"Sure thing Jace.. There is just one thing I want to do." Taking a pen out of his pocket and a piece of paper, He wrote something down and handed it to me.
"Will, it was nice meeting ya, and I mean what I said."
With that, he turned and left with Josh.
IN THE LIMO:
"What a great nite!!!" Justin said as he stretched himself out on top of JC. Lance reached for the privacy divider and placed it up. Before doing so, he asked the driver to put on some soothing music.
"Uh Oh... Looks like someone is lost in thought... need to talk scoop?" JC asked as he positioned Justin on top of him.
"Nah... Just want to savor the memory. Chances are it was just alcohol anyway. EWW you two are gross. You make a sickeningly cute couple." He grimaced as the two shared a loving embrace.
"Well if all transpires well after what I saw, you may be in the same limo my friend." JC said quietly
"Josh baby... Alcohol... Head swoon.... Quiet... please...." Just managed to murmur from JC's chest.
"SHHH baby, its ok... we will be back shortly" JC announced as he rocked Justin back to sleep.
'Someday my prince will come' Lance thought as he sank back into the limo's soft seat.
'I can see his face now. I shall call him Prince Will.'
SUNTERRA-POWHATTEN SHUTTLE:
"Well look at who's Mr. Quiet over there. What's a matter, throw up your voice?" My brother chuckled softly as to not awaken his catch of the night. Elizabeth shuffled in her seat.
"Screw You. I will get you next time." I mumbled as I looked out the window. Absentmindedly I put my hands in my pants pockets to pull out the key for the condo when I felt James's letter. I pulled it out and opened it
"James. 978-555-8046. I hope I hear from you soon."
Wow. James. He was the cutest guy in the place and he picked me. ME. Of all the obvious gay men in the room, he chose me.
I just hope I remember to call him in the morning.
OK that's part 2. Feedback is muy importante.... Catch ya on da flip side!!
