Ok here's the deal guys.... I don't know the members of NSYNC personally, and I could care less about their personal lives so please... this is a work of pure fiction (Sadly...) Secondly, If your not 18 or aren't allowed to read this because of legal reasons, you need to go to a more appropriate site. Also, this story contains man-to-man relationships, and at times will feature homosexual sex acts. If this offends you, you need to ask yourself, do I really want to continue??.... Anyway, email me if you think this is good or whatever... (Especially if you are one of the lead characters!!...Grin)
Sorry about the delay, but life has been hell lately; school and work demand much of my time. So, without further ado....
When we last saw the guys...
At about 2am, Lance drove me back up to my condo.
"Will, I had a really great time tonight." He said as he held my hand tightly in the dark car.
"So did I Lance, So did I." I reached over and kissed him on his lips. As we continued to say our goodbyes, he started to suck on my lower lip, which absolutely drives me wild.
"Oh Lance... you better stop that or else I'm not gonna be able to control myself." I moaned between kisses.
Working his way down my neck, I just leaned back into my seat and let him take over.
Gods he was an awesome kisser!! He was lightly planting kisses all over my neck and playing connect the dots when I finally had to push him away.
"Will? What's wrong?" He asked as I put my shirt back together.
"Nothing at all sweetie, nothing at all." I responded chuckling
"Well then what's so funny?" He asked as he started to fix his hair.
"If anyone asked me Tuesday what I would be doing tonight I would have told them watching a movie." I replied
"Well you did watch a movie." Lance stated
"But how often do I get to watch a movie with a cute pop star?" I asked him.
"Every time I go to the movies, I usually go with 2 or 3." He chuckled.
"Very Funny James.. I will call you tomorrow." I reached over and gave him a kiss.
"Sweet dreams Will. I know mine will be." He said as he kissed me again.
"Goodnight Lance." I opened the door and let myself out.
And Now...
SUNTERRA POWHATTEN RESORT:
"Will, I want to see Will!!! NOW!!!!" Michael screamed from the gurney.
"Get the hell away from me.. Susan, Find Will!"
"Sir, you need to calm down. The more you keep screaming, the more you will make it harder for us to asses your damages!" the young doctor tried to explain.
"Nurse, get me an IV stat! I need a pint of B positive, and a cardiac scan!" another young doctor screamed as I entered the room.
"Oh My God. Susan, what happened??" I grabbed her arm.
"Will, thank god you're here. There was an explosion at Elwood and Michael got hurt." She stated with tears in her eyes. I pushed past her and started into the room only to be held back by two big hospital orderlies.
"Sorry, family only, Sir." One of them said
"I am family you asshole, I'm his partner!" I screamed as I tried to push past him.
One of them grabbed me by the arm and twisted me around and pushed me into another room.
"Look buddy, I know how you feel. I have been with my partner for five years, and if anything ever happened to him, I would do the same thing as you. But you got to understand, the hospital doesn't recognize you as family, so we cant let you in." he let
go of my arm, and went over to the cabinet.
"Here I am going to give you some aspirin, you might need it." He said pointing to my arm that was now starting to turn purple.
All I could do was sit there in shock as the door opened and Susan and Ann walked in.
"Will.... Oh My God, What happened?" They both asked as they took seats around the room.
"Well I tried to get into see him, but the goons at the door wouldn't let me in. You weren't here yet, so we have no idea what his condition is!" I shouted at Ann as I punched the wall.
"Will, please calm down, you're not helping but actually doing more damage." Susan said as she placed an ace bandage around my arm. "I was with him in the ambulance, and they told me he was going to be fine."
Just then, the door opened and a doctor walked in. "Mrs. Levine?" he asked.
"It's no longer Levine, but now Canton now." Ann said as she stood up.
"You are Michael's mother?" He asked as he shook her hand. "I'm Dr. Byington."
"Yes Dr, How is my son?" she asked in a worried voice.
"He is going to be just fine. He has 3rd degree burns on his arms and legs, but no major complications. With any luck he may only need a few minor skin grafts and he should be released in a few days. He is suffering from smoke inhalation right now, but he will be fine in a couple hours." The doctor stated. "Being so class to the blast he is extremely lucky."
Just as he said that, an alarm sounded and nurses and doctors started running.
"CODE BLUE, TRAUMA 1. I REPEAT CODE BLUE TRAUMA 1. DR BYINGTON PLEASE REPORT!!!" The voice over the loud speaker screamed.
"MICHAEL!!" Ann, Susan and I shouted all at once.
Suddenly the room was dark, and I could feel the sweat pouring off my body. I wasn't in that hospital emergency room anymore, but alone in my bed at the resort. Peeling the covers off my body, I slowly stood up and reached for the bathroom door.
I didn't bother to turn on the light because I knew at that time of night; it would have hurt my eyes. Being a creature of habit I reached for my pills that I keep in the same place no matter where I am. I took 2 out of the bottle and filled the glass with water. I took a gulp and filled it up again and splashed some on my face. Turning back towards my bedroom, I was rewarded with the blinding light and my entire family standing there looking at me.
"What the hell are you all doing here? Do you not realize its 3:30 in the morning?" I demanded as I slipped back into my bed.
"William, I heard the scream. We came to see if everything was ok." My mother said in a quiet voice.
"Yeah I'm fine now go back to bed." I said with a tear-choked voice.
I heard people shuffling out of the room, but the light didn't go off.
'Oh.. What the fuck? Not only are they psychologists, but no one can shut off the damn light?' I thought as I moved to shut off the light.
"When was the last time you had your meds checked?" She asked quietly.
There it was. The reason the lights didn't go off. The voice of sanity, (or insanity in some cases,) my mother.
"Lay off it ma. I had them checked awhile ago." I said.
"You know better than that young man. I put your sister down, and I will put you down to. Answer the damn question!" She barked.
When she gets like that everyone in the family knows better than to argue with her.
"Fine. It was January ok? I had them checked in January, now can you please leave?" I hated being mean to anyone, especially her.
"When did you see Dr Lewis last?" she continued.
"Christ do you want my history? Fine. I saw Dr. Lewis in August. Dr. Weaver in July and Dr. Carter in June. My secretary Nancy also picked up my laundry and checked my mail a week ago. I talked to George my accountant last night and Nadine from the hotel emailed me two weeks ago. Anyone else your interested in?" I asked her almost rhetorically.
"William Steven Benson. Let me remind you that I am your mother. I do not appreciate being spoken to like that. I am not one of your lackey's, I actually care about you. Therefore this will be said once and only once. Get yourself checked AGAIN, you can afford it. If you can't, I most certainly can. And for Christ's sake DON'T EVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT AGAIN. The next time you do, it will be your last. Do I make myself clear young man?" With a nod of my head under my covers, She turned and walked out of the room, shutting of the light in the process. The rest of the night I spent crying myself to sleep.
NSYNC COMPOUND:
Lance was right when he told Will that his dreams would be pleasant. Of course they all contained Will in some form or another. Will hanging out with him at his place in Florida. Will meeting his parents and sister in Mississippi. Will just being with him.
With a smile Lance rolled over and opened his eyes to look at the clock but saw Justin instead.
"Christ, Don't you have a boyfriend to bother?" Lance chuckled as he pulled himself up and reached for his glasses.
"I do, he's in the shower. My question is do you?" Justin asked with a sly grin.
Smiling at the memory of the night before, Lance responded, "I sure hope so. He's amazing Justin, completely amazing. When we kissed the first time, there were literal sparks between our mouths!" Lance answered him with a huge grin.
"So there was more than one kiss? Lance, I'm surprised at you!" Justin giggled at his friend.
"Why? Just because I'm very moralistic doesn't mean I can't kiss on the first date." Lance said getting out of the bed.
"No. I'm surprised you stopped. Seeing you like this now, I should have hooked you up a long time ago!" Justin stated
"With who?" Lance asked standing before the bathroom mirror brushing his teeth.
"You know Brittany's Dancer, Adam? He found out about me and JC, and was curious about you." Justin said flipping through the channels of Lance's TV.
Lance came out of the bathroom. "The one with the nipple rings? Damn Just, he's got a hot body, but he's a little weird don't ya think?" Lance asked grabbing a pair of shorts out of his suitcase.
"Well yeah, but you know we were only thinking of you, Scoop." Justin answered as he stood up. "Well JC is Prolly out of the shower now... Prime sex time..." Justin shut the door just in time for it to be assaulted by the pillow Lance threw in that direction at Justin.
"Just don't let me hear you two." Lance said to the empty room as he stepped into his own bathroom and started the shower.
SUNTERRA POWHATTEN RESORT:
As I walked into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee I saw all the heads turn and look in my direction. As if on cue, Jim and Skip both stood up and Jim said, "Come on kids, let's go wait for Jenny and Billy by the clubhouse." Leah, Blake, Mikey and Jeff stood and followed the two men out the door.
For a few minutes it was quiet and then they started. "William please come over here."
My father requested. If it's one thing I hate more than my full name it's when my father asks me nicely to do something. Something in his tone just doesn't sit well with me when does that.
"I would prefer to stand thank you." I said hesitatingly. My father shot me a look that could have shot daggers through me. He just pulled out the nearest chair and motioned for me to sit.
"Fine. Let me have it." I said as slid into the chair.
"Your mother said you haven't had your meds checked since January. How come?" He asked.
"Because Dr. Lewis said I was getting better." I responded into my coffee mug.
"When was the last episode before last night?" My sister asked.
"About three weeks ago. I was asleep on the couch and I woke up and couldn't figure out where I was." I responded.
"And have you talked to him about it?" Susie asked.
"If by him you mean Michael, yes we talked briefly about it." I said.
"What did he say?" Ben asked
"He told me to look into other doctors. He went to Dr. Lewis and didn't like her." I said.
"So what's the plan? Are you going to sit there and tell us you will go get your medication checked, or go to another doctor and actually do it or just tell us you will? Ya know this is not something to joke about." My dad lectured me.
"When I call Nancy later, I will have set up an appointment with Dr. Lewis." I told them all. "Now is there anything else I can help the enquiring minds with?" I looked around the room.
"Yes there is actually. Who was that guy you were with?" My mom asked
Suddenly there was a huge smile on my face. My sister's and brother decided at that point to leave the room.
"His name is James, and he's an entertainer." I replied suddenly tongue-tied.
"Why did everyone get up and leave so suddenly? And why is this the first time I'm hearing about him?" My dad asked as he poured himself another cup of coffee.
"Because they all met him last night while you were working at the rifle range."
I replied.
"Oh. Well is he coming to dinner? I think I might like to meet the person who makes my son smile like that." Although he's cool with me being gay, he still can't say the words that mean it.
"I don't know dad. I will ask him when I call him later. Right now I want to take a nice long shower." I stood up from the table and headed towards my room.
NSYNC COMPOUND:
"Well guys this is it. Thank you for a job well done, I had a great time this tour." Johnny Wright said as he looked at the five young man seated at the table in front of him.
"Take a few weeks off to do whatever you want, but here is the next set of schedules for you." He handed each boy a manila packet.
"WOW... we get two whole weeks off before we have to go to Boston. How lucky are we?" Chris asked facetiously.
"Very Lucky. Did you see your tickets?" Lance asked. He was holding up 2 tickets to the Red Sox game.
"Yes that's right. You each have two tickets to the Red Sox home game held the weekend your in town. Each one of you has two tickets so get a date." Johnny said from his spot on the front of the room. Amid the moans and groans of the table Johnny continued.
"I'm trying to get you to stay at that new hotel they just built, the W. You will leave Thursday to do the interview on Friday, have the game on Saturday, and have Sunday and Monday to relax in Boston. Sadly I won't be able to go with you the whole time, BUT I will make the game." Johnny said. "Also, Today is Sunday, and I expect you all to be out of here by Tuesday. I have to have some work done in here." He motioned around the compound. "The work should be completed by next Tuesday, but only the studio will be open."
"Way cool. Hey Jace, can wee see Quincy Market?" Justin asked excitedly.
"Of course kid. Anything you want to do is cool by me. Hey Lance? I owe you that Harvard tour from last time." JC said looking at Lance.
"Huuh? Oh yeah...sounds cool. Johnny are we done? I think I am gonna go sit by the pool for awhile." Lance said unenthusiastically.
"Sure. You ok?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah just stuff on my mind." Lance responded.
"Hey Jace. We gotta find out what's wrong with Scoop." Justin grabbed JC by the arm and pulled him out towards their blonde headed friend.
" 'Squeeze us... But is this seat taken?" Justin asked Lance as he and JC sat on the lounge facing Lance.
"Nah, Go ahead." Lance responded looking out at the wooded area surrounding the compound.
"Lance, What's wrong. You were all excited and now your blah. What's up?" JC asked as he curled his fingers around Justin's. Shielded from the rest of the house by their backs the boys looked comfortable.
"Well for starters, that." He pointed to the pair of hands that were intertwined.
"I don't follow you." Justin looked at JC who was mystified as well.
"You guys get to see each other all the time. Who I do I get? Chris or Joey. Sorry, but neither one is my type." Lance responded. "I mean even if I could get someone, who could handle this crazy schedule Johnny throws at us? I can hardly handle it, let alone have a relationship. If it wasn't for Michelle, FreeLance would fold up." Lance looked like a lost puppy.
"Hey Lance, Lighten up would ya? The time will come when you find someone who can match you or even be better than you. What happened last night with that Will guy?"
JC asked with concern.
"Absolutely nothing! He is so amazing but I don't think he liked me. I could see myself falling for him instantly Jace, the same way you fell for Curly. But the fact remains he is a prominent business man, and I cant ask him to settle for a jet setting pop superstar."
Lance responded. Wiping a dry tear he continued, "Besides he didn't even call me yet. I don't know, I just don't know." With that, Justin let go of JC's hand put his arms around Lance.
Just then, the door opened and Joey yelled " Hey Scoop there's some guy on the phone for ya. He said his name is Will?"
Lance practically threw Justin off him into the pool and ran inside.
SUNTERRA POWHATTEN RESORT:
' I had a really good time last night Lance. Are you free tonight?' Nah that sounds cheesy I thought. 'Yo Lance. You, Me, Dinner.' How stupid I thought. Let me just wing it.
Walking over to my nightstand where my phone was sitting, I picked it up and dialed his number.
1st ring
2nd ring
3rd ring
"Speak." Came reply.
"Excuse me? Is James there?" I asked causally into the phone.
"Yeah who wants him?" Joey asked
"This is Will. Who is this?" I asked
"Joey. Hang on." He said into the phone.
I heard walking and then Joey saying, " Hey Scoop there's some guy on the phone for ya. He said his name is Will?"
Suddenly I heard a girlish scream and a loud thump. Lance was saying "JOEY GIVE ME MY PHONE!"
"Hello? Anyone there?" I asked into the phone.
"Will, Thank god we didn't get disconnected." Lance came on the line breathless.
"You sound busy. Did I call at a bad time?" I asked.
"No, Just finishing a meeting. How are you?" he asked.
"Well better now that I am talking to you. I had fun last night." I ventured into the phone.
"Oh how sweet. I had a blast last night as well. Are you free tonight?" He asked.
"That's the reason I'm calling you. I was wondering if you would like some home cooking? My mom and sisters are making a homemade dinner. My niece the one that got married is coming over. My dad told me to invite you." I rambled into the phone.
"Sure! I would love to. Can I bring anything?" He asked. I could see the smile on his face.
"Just that beautiful smile." I said.
"Of course. Its you that makes me smile like this." He said.
Suddenly, my phone starting beeping.
"Uh Oh, I got to go its my office. I will see you around 7?" I asked him.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world. See you at 7." Lance said cheerfully into the phone.
Switching lines, I answered, "This is Will."
The sweet sounding voice of my secretary Nancy came on the line.
"Hi Will. How's the Vacation?" She asked.
"Good so far. What's up?" I queried.
"Well we got good news and bad news. The bad news first, there was a water break at the Courtyard in Maine. The whole first floor was flooded. Estimates should be on your computer by 3. The good news is that we have a solid run on an account that will be staying at the W in two weeks. The entire 14th floor." She said.
Almost falling down, I said, "The entire Floor? Those singles go for $314 a night!" I said into the phone breathlessly. Even at the single rate of $314, all 27 rooms would net about $8500!
Nancy Quickly intervened my thoughts by saying, "Thomas got them at a rate 400 even." Flabbergasted, I asked for how long.
"Tentatively they want them for 5 nights, but maybe longer." She replied.
"Well. Tell Georgette that for $400 a night for five nights, OT is not discouraged but demanded. Every member of her staff is to be available for these people 24/7. I will check the computer and get back to you. Thanks Nancy." I said into the phone and snapped it shut.
Looking at the clock it was nearly 3. Four hours till the cutest man I ever met was having dinner with me.
That's Number six peeps. Tell me what you think!!
