Good morning everyone. We're waking up to storm bands this morning coming in from tropical storm Debby. My area is forecast to receive 2 - 4 inches of rain today, with heavier rains and surge forecast for the big bend area of Florida. Don't worry though, CJ's already on the air this morning keeping the bay area informed on the storm conditions!

It's the week of Thanksgiving for all of the guys at the condo complex. Jimmy's leading the celebration activities. The Christmas spirit is beginning to spread throughout everyone in the story. December is lurking around the corner and the month is going to start off with an unexpected incident which might put a damper on everyone's holiday spirits.

The week of Thanksgiving went by way too fast for me. I'm not sure if it's because I enjoyed working with Ronny so much this week, or if it's because I like the hours this week of my future schedule in the new year? I'm able to wake up with Wally, fool around if we're both in the mood, get in a workout or just relax and enjoy the morning serenity on the patio.
Alex and Jimmy did a wonderful job preparing a Thanksgiving feast for everyone. They made sure that Ronny and I had some turkey and all the fixings before we left for work. They also hosted anyone over throughout the day for a special feast. Jimmy was so excited to help Alex all day, and learned all of Alex's secrets for preparing a holiday feast. Jimmy has never been a fan of sweet potatoes, but by the end of the day he liked the way that Alex fixed them. Alex put extra marshmallows on Jimmy's portion which sold him on the taste.
Even though Ronny and I had to leave for the afternoon and evening, Alex and Jimmy had a wonderful time mingling with all their guests. Alex was able to watch some football, while Jimmy talked almost everyone into a dart game at some point during the day. Jimmy was ecstatic when Scott and his daddies Eddie and Taylor showed up.
Ronny and I cranked out our news stories on Thanksgiving Day. Due to the holiday, we only needed to prepare a 6:00 and 11:00 pm show. Wally, Alex and Jimmy showed up after 6:30 bringing us leftovers as well as some pumpkin and pecan pie. They ate with us in the newsroom and Alex said "Jimmy has been the perfect host all day, and to be honest he was such a big help to me preparing the dinner and re-heating it throughout the day." I can just picture Fred with a proud smile looking at his son all day. I wish I had been there for the entire day to enjoy it with them, but duty at WPHS calls!
My work week ended Friday night, and I'm happy to have a couple of days to recoup before going back to the morning schedule. Saturday turned out to be a quiet day around the condo. Wally, Fred and Alex decided to take advantage of the nice weather and put in a full day at Joe and Roger's place. They want to have everything finished by mid-December for Joe and Roger to begin their move in during the holidays. Ronny went into the station as he has some work which needs finishing touches prior to the Buccaneers game tomorrow. A whole day in the condo by myself -- this has never happned!
I went to check in on Mack to see how progress is going for him. I caught him, Darrel, Toby and Jimmy moving in his clothes and boxes. All of his furniture is in the condo, and now it's just a matter of getting everything into place. I offered my help, but Mack said "you enjoy your time off before starting off again Monday morning CJ. The four of us are handling things here and we're doing good." I replied "okay, when you need a break, stop by and have a beer or two. I'll even throw the grill on for some cheeseburgers if anyone wants one." Of course, I knew I'd have an affirmative reaction from Jimmy as he said "we will CJ, because you know I like cheeseburgers. I want to help Mack get situated for his job on Monday, then we'll come to your place. Maybe we'll finish up about the same time as daddy, Wally and Alex and we can all have dinner together."
After I returned to our condo, I gathered up most of the laundry and began washing clothes. I decided to start my Christmas shopping by creating a list of everyone and my initial gift ideas for them. After I had the list finished up, I did some online shopping and started making purchases.
It turned out to be an enjoyable and productive day for me, as I enjoyed the nice breeze on the patio while listening to a music channel through the sound system. I finished up the laundry and got a great start on my Christmas shopping. I know I'm probably going overboard, but it's been a wonderful year for me and I want to share my joyous feelings with my family and friends.
As I finished up the laundry and my shopping, I realized that in my move here I did not have any Christmas decorations. I don't remember Wally or Alex moving any into the condo as well. I put it in my mind that by the end of the weekend, we will have a tree in the condo with decorations galore. My man does not know it yet, but I'm a Christmas freak and he will be accompanying me tomorrow to search for any items we need to make our upcoming holiday festive.
After 4:00 pm, the tranquility of the condo came to an end. Ronny got in first and said "Thanks CJ, you did not have to do the laundry by yourself. I was going to do it tonight with you." I smiled and said "well, we have the evening free. Are you hungry? I'm expecting the construction crew anytime now. Do you want to help me make some hamburgers up along with some side dishes?" Ronny said "that sounds great, will you join me in a beer while we prepare dinner?" I replied "that sounds fantastic as I want to hear what all you were able to finish up today."
Ronny grabbed us each a beer from the kegerator and joined me back in the kitchen. I got out all of the dinner supplies and split up the work with Ronny. As I was forming hamburger patties, Ronny mixed up some Cole slaw, and also emptied two cans of baked beans into a casserole dish. He turned the oven on, and waited for it to warm up before placing the casserole dish into it.
We still had some pie left over from Thanksgiving, but probably not enough for nine people. Ronny suggested "hey, let's use up those apples before they go bad on us. I have not made baked apples in quite a while, and that's always a great dessert?" I smiled and said "yeah, I bet Jimmy will like that. Make sure you use a lot of marshmallows on them as those will entice him even more."
Ronny told me about all of the packages that he was able to finish up for the pre- and post-game shows tomorrow. As I was listening to him talk about everything, it amazes me about how far he has come in knowing the Tampa Bay teams. He rattles off so many facts to me about the team and individual players. It's great to see him so happy in his work and personal life, and hard to believe that he and I have come so far in such a short time here in St Petersburg.
Our conversation continued and Ronny changed subjects on me. He looked outside the front door to make sure that Alex was nowhere close. Once he was back with me in the kitchen, he said "when we have some free time together, will you help me search for some wedding rings for Alex and me?" I couldn't believe what he just said, and I pulled him in for a big bro hug! I replied "of course I will help you out Ronny." His smile grew and said "thanks CJ, I appreciate it. I'm trying to decide if it's best to ask him on Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, and don't worry, we won't be doing any ceremony around your ceremony in June. I'm thinking of a fall wedding and it will either be a beach setting or at the lake on my family's farm."
I began to tear up as he was sharing his ideas with me. He looked at me and said "hey, what's wrong? I did not mean to make you cry over this?" I cracked up laughing and said "these are tears of joy, Ronny. I cannot believe how far you and I have come since graduation this year. I'm so happy for you and Alex, and mum's the word until you pop the question. I love you my brother and I think all of the ideas you have shared with me are just beautiful. I'll be happy to help you out with anything I can." I pulled him in for another hug and kiss. Once we had broken the kiss, our private conversation was interrupted by Jimmy, Alex and Wally entering the condo. Once Jimmy saw us, he said "okay CJ, we're done for the day at Mack's place. Toby and I were heading this way, when we met daddy, Alex and Wally at the elevator. Mack and Darrell are showering before they come to dinner, and daddy said he needed one to. Toby said he also worked up a sweat today, and went with daddy. I've been walking between Alex and Wally, and they both worked up a stink today. I think they should shower, while I help you and Ronny get dinner ready!"
Everyone broke out in laughter at Jimmy and I said "well Jimmy, Ronny and I finished preparing everything we need for dinner tonight. What if Alex and Wally take their showers, while Ronny, you and I get the patio ready for dinner?" Jimmy replied "that sounds good CJ. I'll start setting the table for everyone." I walked over to Wally and whispered "we'll take another one tonight if you want to babe?" He nodded yes to me, and I noticed Ronny and Alex probably having a similar conversation with Alex grinning and nodding yes to Ronny.
Alex finished his shower first and joined us on the patio. He said "what can I do to help out?" I replied "fix yourself a drink, and relax for a while." Ronny said "what do you want babe? I'll get it for you." Alex smiled and said "I think I'll go with beer tonight." Ronny asked me if I wanted a refill and I nodded yes to him. Once Ronny returned to us with our beers, he said "hey Alex, I've got an extra press pass for the game tomorrow. Do you want to join me?"
Just as Alex was about to answer Ronny, Wally joined us on the patio and retrieved a beer for himself. Alex said "I'd love to do that Ronny, but I really need to get the complex ready for Christmas tomorrow. I always decorate on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Why don't you take CJ or Wally tomorrow?" Ronny turned to me and said "do you have any plans for tomorrow, CJ?" I smirked and said "yeah Ronny I do. I actually am in the Christmas mood and want to start decorations in the condo tomorrow." Ronny then turned to Wally and said "come on big guy, don't let me down! Come to the game tomorrow and help me out. You'll see a number of athletes in jock straps and I cannot promise you that one of the players won't snap you with a towel in the locker room!" Wally cracked up at him and asked me "CJ, do you mind if I go with Ronny and help you later with the decorations?" I smiled at him and said "you go help Ronny, and I'll help out Alex tomorrow. Once we get finished with the complex decorations, we'll go shopping for some condo decorations. Alex, does that sound okay to you?" Alex finished drinking his beer, burped loudly and said "absolutely CJ. I moved my personnel Christmas supplies to my office before moving in here. We can take a look at what all is there and then decide if we need to do some more shopping." Hearing all of this, Jimmy said "Alex, I don't have any homework tomorrow because of Thanksgiving. Can I help you and CJ out?" Alex smiled at Jimmy, ruffled his hair and said "you sure can buddy. We'll check with your daddy when he gets here, and if he says yes, it will be us three getting this place decorated for Christmas."
As soon as Fred and Toby entered the condo, Jimmy bombarded Fred with his question about helping Alex and me. Fred smiled and said "Alex, you sure he will not be in your way?" Alex replied "trust me, he will be a big help. Between Jimmy, CJ and myself we should be done with the decorations by noon." Fred looked at Toby, with Toby giving him an affirmative nod. Fred said "that actually works out great Alex, as Toby and I were planning to start our holiday shopping tomorrow." Jimmy smiled at everyone and said "yeah!!! See it's going to work out for all of us. Come on CJ, let's get the burgers and start cooking them."
As Jimmy and I began to cook the burgers, Mack and Darrell entered the condo. They both had big smiles on their faces. When they came out to the patio, Wally said "hey there gents. What will you be drinking tonight?" Mack looked at Darrell and said "beer or liquor tonight for you?" Darrell smiled, gave Mack a kiss and said "burgers and beer, you can never go wrong with that combo." Mack gave him a kiss back and said "two beers bro, if you don't mind?" Wally retrieved two more beers for them.
Once Mack had his beer he said "everyone, before we get started on Jimmy's famous cheeseburgers, I want to thank you all for the help you've given me on my move here. I cannot thank everyone enough for all of the help with the painting, the cabinets, new pantry, the new bathrooms and moving everything in. I'm so pleased with everything, and sincerely thank everyone for what all you have done for me. Cheers everyone, and I look so forward to spending the upcoming holidays with all of you." Everyone joined Mack in his cheer, with Wally moving close to him. Wally said "brother, we're glad to have you here with us and welcome you to your new home."
Everyone enjoyed the dinner, and Jimmy loved Ronny's baked apples. Fred asked Ronny for the recipe, and Ronny said "it's really simple. Take some apples, and slice them in halves. Dig out the seeds and create a boat. Fill it with butter, cinnamon and bake it at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Add marshmallows towards the end and enjoy." Toby cracked up when Jimmy asked for one more and said "I've got to remember this, and bake them for him every so often. I think he is enjoying the apples just as much as his cheeseburger tonight."
It turned out to be a relaxing evening for everyone. Good conversation, an enjoyable simple dinner and plenty of dart games for everyone. I think everyone was tired from a big day of work. Mack and Darrell left first saying they both wanted to get a full day in tomorrow before they start the work week on Monday.
After their departure, Wally asked Ronny "what time do we need to leave here tomorrow, Ronny?" Ronny replied with "let's shoot for being at the station by 8:30." Jimmy followed suit and said "Alex, what time do you want me to help you with decorations tomorrow?" Alex smiled at him and said "how does 8:00 sound Jimmy and if you want, I'll cook you some breakfast before we start?" Jimmy smiled at him, gave us all a hug and said "come on daddy and Toby, let's go to our condo. I need to get a good night sleep and so do you two for a big day of shopping." We all exchanged good nights with them, and once the four of us were alone I said "anyone up for more darts, or you want to call it a night?"
It's unanimous as everyone felt like turning in. I think all four of us knew the evening is continuing on with some passion involved for both couples.
Alex and Ronny made a beeline for their bedroom, and Wally and I entered our room after we shut off lights and locked the front door. After shutting the bedroom door, I said "I'm glad that you and Ronny are getting a chance to spend the day together Wally. I hope you have a fun day, and if Baker Mayfield snaps you with his towel, you have my permission to give him a blowjob!" Wally cracked up at me and said "nah, there's only one man in my life now." He walked over to me, pulled off my shirt, followed by removing his shirt and said "feel like making some love tonight, sexy?" After he finished his question, he began to kiss me wildly and pulled my body into his. He wrapped his arms around me, while I undid his shorts, followed by removing my shorts. I turned the two of us around, and pushed him down onto the bed. I got on top of him and said "I've been waiting for this all day, Wally. Get ready for another passionate night as I plan to rock your world tonight."
I went into kissing frenzy on Wally, as he began to work my nipples over. He knows my nipples are hot-wired to my cock and ass. I went into my pleasure zone and continued to kiss him as deeply as I can.
Eventually, I began working my way down his front side. I started at his nipples swirling my tongue around each of them. I gradually worked up to chewing on them which resulted in Wally moaning as loud as I've heard him. I continued my way down to his cock and balls. I gently washed each of his balls taking them in my mouth and sucking them one at a time. As he was moaning profusely, I took his cock in one breath. I had the whole shaft in my mouth and his pubic hair was tickling my nose. Wally spoke up saying "babe, turn around and 69 with me. I want to eat your ass while you continue working my cock." I gladly accepted the invite and soon Wally was eating my ass out, inserting fingers and expanding my hole to eventually accept his foot long cock.
We continued this position for quite a while. I felt like a mad man devouring his entire cock over and over. I heard the nightstand drawer open and figured Wally was getting the lube out. I was right as I soon felt cool lube being applied to my ass. He eventually smacked my ass cheeks and said "up on all four and get ready to take me CJ!" I moved quickly and prepared for his entry. He spread some lube on his cock and began circling my hole. I felt the cockhead slip in and tease me. Gradually he entered me and soon I had Wally fully inside me. He gave me a minute to get used to his cock, then started a full out assault on my ass. He pounded me hard, but it was not painful at all. I feel as though I'm in heaven as I feel nothing but pleasure spread throughout my body.
This went on for some time. He said "you enjoying this my love?" I replied "hell yes Wally, keep expanding my hole and work that cock in deeper than you have been." Wally went into his animalistic mode on me and is breeding me like there is no tomorrow. He reached underneath me and grabbed my cock. As he continued his forceful thrusts on my ass, he stroked my cock to its full length. My moans were probably heard all over the fourth floor of the complex. I yelled out "make me cum Wally, give me everything you can tonight!"
His significant thrusts continued into me and I felt as though we were both about to cum together. I'm panting, and he is profusely sweating all over both of us. I said "Wally, lets cum together baby. Do it you now you big stud and fill me up with your cum." He is grunting now as he continued his full out attack on me. I started shooting cum streams on the bed which caused me to clench my ass muscles tighter around his cock. This resulted in him unloading his cum into my ass.
We both collapsed on the bed. Both of us were out of breath and in a few minutes his cock deflated and retreated from my ass. Wally pulled me closer to him, gave me several kisses on the back of my neck and said "are you okay CJ?" I cracked up and said "yes, I'm fine. Just hold me for a few minutes while I recover from that incredible experience. Have I told you lately how much you excite me, and how I much I love you stud?" Wally chuckled "you have not told me today, but I'd love to hear it more as we shower off together."
We eventually made our way off the bed and headed into the shower. Once the water temperature warmed up, we entered the shower and began soaping each other all over our bodies. I began kissing Wally, and soon we were caressing each other all over. I broke away from his lips and said "You excite the hell out of me more each day that we're together. I love you more than you will ever know Wally."
Our shower finished up and we dried each other off. Both of us brushed our teeth, and I stripped the sheets and cover off the bed. I said "I did not wash sheets today, so I have a load ready to go for tomorrow morning." Wally and I made our bed and both slipped into fresh-smelling sheets. I put my arms around him, and he buried his fuzzy face into my chest. I kissed his forehead and said "babe, I don't think I've ever shared with you how much of a Christmas geek I am. Do you care if I begin the decorations tomorrow without you? I should let you know that I want to carry on a tradition I've grown up with. Every year I can remember, there have been two Christmas trees in the house and some years there have been three. Do you mind if I have two trees ready to go? I'm thinking one in the living room, and one on the patio. How does that sound to you?" Wally gave me a kiss and said "I like the sound of that CJ. Dad always put a tree up, but I have not since he passed away. This year though, it seems right to me to start our own traditions together. I have to ask though, are you one of those all-white light people on your tree, or do you prefer multi-color lights?"
I cracked up laughing, kissed his forehead and replied "I'm a multi-colored light lover. It drove Aunt Sally crazy as she wanted all white lights on a Christmas tree. I remember my first year at their house when UD declared we're having a new tradition of all white lights in the living room, and multi-colored lights in the great room. He knew I liked multi-colored lights on a tree, and so it was from then on at their house." Wally was smiling all throughout my reply. He gave me a kiss once I was finished and said "good CJ, I love colored lights on a tree. You go ahead and start with the trees tomorrow, and we'll work on the rest of the decorations together afterwards."
It was not long after his comment that we both drifted off into a peaceful sleep together.
Alex and I were on the same time line Sunday morning, as we both entered the living area around 6:00 am. He's on his way to open the workout room, and clean the pool area off. I told him I'd start preparing breakfast for the four of us. I started to brew a pot of coffee, and retrieved my phone off the charger. I texted Fred and said "Good Morning. Alex and I are up and moving out. If it helps you and Toby out, please go ahead and send Jimmy here early. Also, give us some ideas for Christmas gifts for Jimmy. Talk to you later and have a good day."
I started to cut up some grapefruit and oranges for a mixed fruit combination. I made sure we had enough eggs, ham, bacon and bread. Everything was ready to go and I timed it just right as the coffee was done brewing.
I retrieved my Christmas gift list and reviewed it at the breakfast counter while I enjoyed a cup of coffee. My phone rang, and the caller ID said Fred. I answered it with "good morning! Is that youngster up and going already today?" Fred was laughing and said "yes, he is. It's amazing when he knows that he is going to spend time with you and Alex how chipper he is in the morning. It's a refreshing change of pace. Are you sure he can come there early? It works out well for Toby and I as we can go ahead and hit the early sales at the stores this morning. Several of them are opening at 7:00 am. CJ, you don't need to get him any gifts! Please, you have done way too much for us this year already."
I replied "nonsense Fred, it's Christmas and I want to share my joy with everyone, including Jimmy! You and Toby think it over, and then let us know what we can get him. Maybe we can give him some video games, CD's or some vinyl records." Fred cracked up and said "he actually wants a turntable for his bedroom. I still have my vinyl records, and he likes to play them. That's on our list to pick up for him today. We'll see how we do today and let you know. If you don't mind, I'll send him over now." I replied "that sounds fine Fred. He can help me cook breakfast for everyone."
It wasn't even two minutes later when I heard the knock at the door. I opened it up and said "hey there Jimmy, how are you today?" He smiled at me and said "I'm good CJ. Daddy said I can help you cook breakfast. I do need your help though thinking about Christmas gifts for daddy and Toby. Do you mind if we take a few minutes and create a list today?" I knelt down to his level and said "actually, I was just reviewing my Christmas list. How about a glass of milk or juice, and we'll create a list for you?"
We got Jimmy a glass of milk, and I helped him get on a barstool. He already had several good ideas, and was pleased when we had over five simple things to get for Fred and Toby. His best idea was to get a picture collage frame. He showed me so many pictures on his phone that he wants to print off. The more we talked about it, I liked his idea. I said "when we go out shopping later, we'll look for a frame for you. We can also stop by a store and print off all those photos for you. We can work on it here, and you can hide it in my office closet. How does that sound to you, Jimmy?" Jimmy was just smiling from ear to ear when he said "thanks CJ, you're the greatest. I love you!" I leaned in and gave Jimmy a hug as I said "I love you too, Jimmy."
He rattled off some more ideas that he has for everyone in the group. Jimmy wants to make everyone a friendship bracelet just like he did for UD and my cousins. I smiled at him and said "everyone will love those, Jimmy. Maybe we can get the supplies you'll need today, and you and I can work on them together."
A few minutes later, Alex entered the front door. Jimmy blasted out "Hi Alex, I'm here and ready to help you out today. First, I'm going to help CJ with breakfast though." Alex gave him a big smile and pulled him off the barstool for a hug." He said "I'm glad to see you today, Jimmy! We're going to do a lot of fun things today. You and CJ go ahead and start breakfast, and I'll go hurry up Ronny and Wally."
About fifteen minutes later, the five of us sat down to a breakfast of scrambled eggs with ham, bacon, toast, fruit and yogurt. We all ate heartily, and it's a great way to start our "Sunday Funday" as Jimmy put it.
Ronny and Wally took off for the game, and Alex, Jimmy and I went to Alex's office to begin sorting through the decorations for the condo complex. As usual, Alex had everything very organized and soon had Jimmy and I taking boxes to the pool area for further sorting. Alex obtained three Santa hats from his desk drawer and said "okay guys, you have to wear these while we're putting decorations up. Let's go have some fun!"
I soon realized that my dear friend Alex is also a Christmas geek. The three of us had a great time during the morning, with each of us sharing our favorite Christmas memories. We both listened to Jimmy as he rattled off what he is asking from Santa Claus this year. It's great to hear him talk about his belief in Santa Claus once again displaying his simplicity and innocence of youth. The three of us continued to work through the morning enjoying each other's company as well as getting into the Christmas spirit.
It was just after 1:00 pm when Alex declared that everything is complete for the complex decorations. He thanked us both for the help and said "CJ, do you want to go see what I have stashed away in my Christmas supply?" I said "sure Alex, let's go take a look." Jimmy chimed in with "can I look through your stuff also Alex? We lost all of our decorations in the fire. If you two are not going to use some of your decorations, maybe daddy, Toby and I can use them?" Alex smiled at Jimmy and replied "of course you can look through everything Jimmy. Come on you two, let's head back to my office."
I was shocked to find out that Alex had three Christmas trees in his collection. I smiled at him and said "wow, these are great Alex. It's always been a Skinner family tradition to have two Christmas trees in a house." Alex smiled and said "do you believe that we always had three while I was growing up? Two inside the house, and one on the lanai. Christmas is my favorite time of the year guys; in case you have not already noticed today." I sensed that Alex is getting choked up about his fond memories of Christmas." I pulled him in close to me and said "I like the idea of three trees in the condo Alex. How about we load these three up on your cart and take them upstairs? We can place them where they look good at?" Alex smiled and said "thanks CJ, this means so much to me. We may have to put two on the patio since we have all three bedrooms full, but I like that idea as well."
Soon the three of us were off with a cartful of Christmas trees and lights. On the elevator ride up, Alex asked "do you mind colored lights, because that is all I have?" I smiled at him and said "were you listening into my conversation with Wally about all white lights versus multi-colored? I'm a big fan of multi-colored lights so don't worry. Wally also enjoys multi-colored lights on a tree. I'm sure Ronny will like anything that you and I do."
After we entered the condo, Jimmy said he is getting hungry. I said "how about some cookies and milk for a snack? If your daddy is not here by 3:00, we'll go ahead and start fixing dinner." Jimmy replied "that sounds fine CJ. Will you and Alex have some cookies with me?" Alex joined into the conversation and said "yes, we will. You cannot decorate a Christmas tree without some form of cookies." Luckily, we had some chocolate chip cookies which sufficed for this occasion. Alex and I reheated some coffee from breakfast while Jimmy drank a glass of milk for us. Jimmy said "let's see if any of the music channels have Christmas music on yet."
Sure enough, Jimmy and Alex found a channel that had switched to Christmas songs. As we unboxed the first tree, all of us joined in on a thunderous chorus of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
The three of us agreed on the perfect spot in the living room for the tree. Luckily, all we need to do is adjust the location of an end table. Once Alex and I had the tree standing in its location, Jimmy helped us by stringing lights throughout the entire tree. Alex tested the light strings before joining them on the tree. I had to laugh as UD is always known for not doing this. It always involves removing the strings, and finding working ones to restring on the tree. Usually, there's also a trip to a local store for more tree lights.
As we finished up, all three of us looked at the tree from different angles. Jimmy said "wow you guys, this tree looks beautiful. It's ready for ornaments, tinsel and presents!" Alex said "how about we just do ornaments on it Jimmy? I'm not a fan of tinsel, and I don't have any down in my office." Jimmy smiled and said "that's okay Alex. Let's go get some ornaments, and finish this tree off. If you have a star or angel for the top, let's bring that up also."
Alex and Jimmy went to his office for more supplies. I loaded up the washer with the bed sheets from Wally and I. I cracked up as I felt crusty spots all over the sheets. I said to myself "oh yeah, it's time to clean the evidence off these!"
As I finished up loading the washer, I heard a knock at the door. I opened it to see Fred and Toby smiling at me. Fred asked "is that young man of mine wreaking havoc for you two?" Toby chimed in with "CJ, the complex looks great! I love the Santa and sleigh display at the pool. You three have accomplished so much today." I replied to both of them with "come on in. We're finishing up decorating the living room tree. The chief and his assistant are getting ornaments for it now."
I continued on saying "Jimmy had a great day. Fred, I hope you don't mind us having him set up a tree with us?" Fred smiled at me and said "that's not a problem at all CJ. Toby and I bought a tree today, along with lights, ornaments and plenty of tinsel since Jimmy likes it." I cracked up and said "he will be happy to hear that as he said this tree also needs tinsel."
Jimmy and Alex returned with the ornaments. He saw his dad and said "hi daddy, hi Toby. Did you two have a good day today? I've had so much fun with Alex and CJ. Did you see all of the decorations around the complex? Each time we pull into the condo lot, I'm going to smile at them knowing I help put them all up." Fred gave Jimmy a hug and said "we sure did see them. Toby and I like the Santa and sleigh at the pool. We want to get a picture of the three of us in the sleigh together." Jimmy replied "CJ took a picture of me in the sleigh with Santa today and it will be fun to have all three of us in the sleigh."
Toby got down on his knee and said "guess what your dad and I got today? We got a tree, lights, ornaments and plenty of tinsel for our living room." Jimmy screamed "yeah! Do you mind if I help Alex and CJ put ornaments on their tree, then we can go down and get our new tree all set up?" I kneeled down to Jimmy and said "why don't you go with your dad and Toby and set up your tree? After you're finished there, you three can come back here and we'll all have some spaghetti? Is that okay with you Fred and Toby?" Fred had a smile beaming across his face and said "that sounds wonderful CJ. We have a cheesecake in the refrigerator, can we bring it back for dessert tonight?" Alex said "oh wow, two of my favorite things to eat. They both sound great after a day of Christmas decorating!"
Jimmy was all smiles and said "okay CJ, this is a great day. I helped you and Alex, and now daddy, Toby and I can set up our tree together. Spaghetti sounds great, and I'll be hungry for it when we get back. Come on daddy and Toby, let's go set up our tree!"
Alex and I switched the music channel over to the game and caught the remainder of the second half while we finished putting on decorations in the living room tree. The Buccaneers are ahead by three, so hopefully they can hold onto the lead for a win today.
Once Alex and I had finished decorating the tree, we decided to open up a bottle of wine. We enjoyed a glass while watching the end of the game. The Bucs did end up winning the game, so I'm sure that our men will return to the condo in a good mood.
Before Alex and I started dinner, we placed the other two trees on the patio. Even though the patio has plenty of furniture on it, we're able to put two trees on it without having to remove any furniture. The first tree fit perfectly into the television area, and the second tree looks great in the L corner across from the chase lounge. I pulled my friend in for a hug and said "thank you so much for letting me help you today. Our day has been perfect, and it's helping me get into the Christmas spirit. Maybe the four of us can decorate these two trees during the week." Alex smiled and said "me too CJ. Let's go start dinner, and make sure we have enough for seven of us depending upon when our men get home."
Fred, Toby and Jimmy returned to our place just before 5:30. Jimmy is so excited about their tree, as he showed Alex and I pictures of it from his phone. I smiled at Fred and Toby as I said "I believe it's a hit with him. Did you three have fun setting it up together?" Fred put his arm around Toby's shoulder and said "we sure did, CJ. Thanks for making the suggestion for us to do it today." Jimmy broke into our conversation and said "hey CJ, can we eat at the dinner table for a change? I want to look at your pretty tree while we eat dinner." Alex said "that's a good idea Jimmy, as we don't eat at the dinner table too often. Help me get the plates, and we'll all dig into a big spaghetti dinner."
Dinner was very good, and the cheesecake topped off everything very well. Jimmy and Alex loaded up the dishwasher and Jimmy said "how about a game of darts Alex to finish off our Funday Sunday?" Alex agreed, and the twosome took off for the patio. Fred, Toby and I opened one more bottle of wine, and poured each of us a glass before adjourning to the pub side of the patio. As I was pouring the wine, Fred said "we were able to get so many great deals on Jimmy's gifts today. We went overboard, but he's been so good this year. His big gifts will be a computer, a stereo system with a turntable and a play station. CJ, if you're determined to get him a Christmas gift, we did not by any vinyl records for him yet." I smiled and said "okay guys. I've got enough information for the four of us to get Jimmy some albums and some play station games. Will he mind gift cards, so he can pick out his own games? I know we can buy him any Taylor Swift record, and he will be happy." Fred replied "gift cards will be fine. Toby and I are not sure what type of games he will enjoy, so we are doing that as well."
We took our wine out to the high-top table and watched Jimmy and Alex finish their cricket game. After we had sat down, I said "hey guys, just so you will know I told Jimmy I'd take him out shopping. We did not get to it today, but I'll get him out one afternoon this week. He wants to make friendship bracelets for everyone, and he and I are going to make a special gift for you two." Fred cracked up and said "he has some money CJ, just make sure he does not spend beyond his limits."
The three of us continued our discussion and all of a sudden, we heard Jimmy yelling "yeah! Alex, that's the first time I have beaten you at cricket." Alex smiled and gave him a hug. He replied "I know Jimmy, you've been practicing, haven't you? You're doing so well at darts now. Are you still enjoying playing them?" He said "yeah, I am Alex. If they have darts as a sport in school, I'll sign up for that team for sure."
About ten minutes later, Ronny and Wally found us on the patio. I got up and gave Wally a hug and kiss, and Ronny did the same with Alex. Jimmy said "did you see all the decorations in the complex Ronny and Wally? Alex, CJ and I had a great time today. We got a tree set up in your living room, and daddy and Toby surprised me with a new tree also. We sat that up too, and then had dinner with CJ and Alex." Wally replied to Jimmy with "wow Jimmy, you had a very busy day! I bet you hate to end your Thanksgiving vacation, don't you?" Jimmy smiled and said "nope. Each day we get done, is one day closer to our Christmas vacation. We get two weeks off then."
We all went to the patio dining table and chatted about Wally and Ronny's day. Wally said "sorry Jimmy, I was not able to get you and I anything signed by Baker today. I can't believe what all you got done today with Alex and CJ. Did you enjoy your day?" Jimmy gave a yawn first and said "I did Wally, and it really put me in the Christmas spirit. I am getting tired after our good dinner daddy, and I know tomorrow is a school day. Can we go back to our place soon?" Fred replied "sure we can sport. You, Toby and I can go look at our tree again before we get you ready for bed."
The three of them gave us each a hug with Jimmy saying "good night, everyone. Remember CJ, you and I have work to do this week." I smiled at him and said "I remember Jimmy. Just let me know which day you want to work."
Alex reheated the spaghetti, while I fixed two salad bowls for Wally and Ronny. Ronny poured each of them a glass of wine and joined Wally in setting down at the dining room table. Ronny said "I like the tree in here guys. You did a nice job decorating it." Wally also said "I like the position of the two on the patio. I can't believe you were able to fit two in out there, without moving any of the furniture. Maybe we can get those decorated this week during the evenings?" Ronny said "how about we make this a couple event with Wally and CJ decorating one tree, and Alex and I will decorate the other tree? That way, we don't all have to be here at the same time, and the chances are better that we'll get them decorated this week?"
All of us thought the idea sounded fine. I shared what Fred and Toby got for Jimmy. My threesome all liked the idea of gift cards for the play station games, as well as each of us giving him a Taylor Swift record. Alex also made a suggestion that we each get him one of our favorite albums to begin his collection. I said "that sounds like a great idea. We'll give Fred a list of our favorite albums and he can make sure that he does not have them in his collection already."
I looked at the kitchen clock and said "oh wow, I need to be hitting the sack shortly. It's back to the morning shift for me. Ronny, I cannot tell you how excited I am to join you permanently on the evening shift." Ronny smiled at me and replied "I know CJ. I really enjoyed last week, and it's going to be fantastic working with you and Ross each night."
Wally loaded up the dishwasher with the dishes, while I set up the coffee maker to brew a pot of coffee for the morning. Wally looked at me and said "babe, do you mind if I join you now? I had a great day of looking at hot athletes in their jock straps, and I'm exhausted after it. I pulled my man in for a kiss and said "nothing will please me more than that Wally." Alex said "will Ronny and I bother you if we start decorating the L corner tree?" I looked at Wally, he gave me the nod and I replied "that sounds great you two. You two have a good evening, and we'll see you tomorrow."
Wally and I brushed our teeth, and then climbed into bed together. We exchanged several kisses, and I snuggled myself with my head ending up on his chest. I said "I'm glad you had a good day today babe, and I really enjoyed my day as well. I am so pleased with what all Alex, Jimmy and I got done today and I'm looking forward to decorating our tree this week." Wally said "yeah sweetheart, everything looks great and I'm excited for the holiday season now. Maybe we can find some special decorations for the two of us to use on our tree this week." I smiled as I rubbed Wally's hair on his chest and stomach. I looked up to him and said "I love that idea Wally, and I love you more." We shared several passionate kisses followed by Wally shutting off the lamp on his side of the bed.
We laid together in the dark with each of us starting to doze off. Before he went into his slumber Wally said "I love you CJ, and this is going to be the best Christmas that I've ever had thanks to you." I replied to him and said "I love you more Wally, and I have to agree with you that this will be my best Christmas ever with you by my side. This holiday season will be wonderful as we share it with each other, UD, the girls and all of our friends."
I began to drift off to sleep with my head on Wally's chest. I have so many pleasant thoughts going through my mind and I'm truly looking forward to the next few weeks ahead. I hope that all continues to go well and nothing disturbs our joyous holiday season.
