We'd been dating now for almost a week. In that time we'd spent more time together then ever before. If one of us wasn't already at the others house then we were making plans to go over to the others house. We spent every waking moment(and a lot of our non-waking moments) possible together. I felt like I had finally found the one who, and it may sound corny but still, completed me. We were polar opposites. He had almost white, blonde hair, higher voice, was short and bright green eyes. (Not bright green like a light shade of green, bright green like a little kid's bright eyes.) I was tall, with dark reddish brown hair, deeper voice, and eyes that were more dark, smoldering, rather than bright. In this way we really did, complete eachother. Today would be the first day that we would go for an extended period of time without seeing eachother.

It was ten o'clock. A.M. of course.

"It'll only be for a few hours." I tried to stop Sean from pacing. "I'll be back before you know it." I tried to reassure him.

"Not few! Six to seven hours is not a FEW! What am I supposed to do until then?" He stomped his foot in the cutest expression of indignation.

"What would you normally have done? Before last St. Patrick's Day, I mean." He's acting like this is the first we'll be apart. As a couple, maybe. But he's had to have found things to do by himself, he is an only child.

"I would have played video games, all the while watching through my window to see when you got home." 'Can you say stalker?' Shut it. He just doesn't want me to go. 'Well, he needs to get a hobbie, or something.' Try to understand where he's coming from. He's worried. 'About what?' He's worried about being alone. He's had me for the last week now. He's worried that his mom will notice the effect that my absence will have. 'She's as blind as bat when it comes to you two.' That's only temporary, eventually she'll wonder. Eventually she'll find out. 'What then?' I don't know.

"You don't even like fishing. Why're you going?" He looked confused and worried.

"Our moms will get suspicious if we do nothing but spend all of our time together over spring break. You're spending the night right? I'll see you then." There was a honk from outside and my dog barked. "There's my dad. I'll see you tonight." I gave him a light peck on the lips. "Bye." I opened the door of my room. Sean would leave when he wanted to. I walked down my hall, my dad was standing in the doorway.

"Ready to go?" My dad was actually very nice, just narrow-minded.

"Yup." And I followed him out the door.

Sean

The door shut behind him. I sighed.

"All alone now." I said. "Might as well get going." I walked over to his window. I could probably walk out the door with no problems. But I don't want to run into his mom. I climbed out of his window and grabbed my bike from behind his house. I was unaware of his mom watching from the window. I rode down my road, thinking about tonight. I pulled over beside my house and put the bike up. I walked up my porch, through the doorway, and straight into hell.

Cody

God, I hate fishing. How can something be a sport when you can get fat doing it? That's all my brother and my dad did while fishing. Eating. I actually preferred hunting to fishing. Fishing conflicted with my nature. It was all so trial and error.

I'll admit that, as bad as it made me feel, it was a little refreshing to be alone. My brother burped. Well, almost alone. I liked the silence, of my own mind. There was no silence with my dad and brother. I didn't have to talk, to be involved in a conversation. Sean wasn't constantly talking to me, but at the same time....

Since nothing really happened during the fishing trip, except a two hour delay, we're going to skip over that a bit. I watched the land zip by on my way back. The trees flashed by in a whirl of dark color. The world seemed like it was converging on me. A dreadful cold sank into my limbs, making them leaden and heavy. Dark clouds twined themselves around my body. They were dragging me into despair, into death. It was suffocating. A face blew up in my vision.

SEAN!! I startled awake. Sweat had coated my skin, my breathing was ragged, something was wrong. The radio was blaring, which probably explained why my dad and brother hadn't noticed me. I gulped and looked out the window. Good, we were almost home. Something's happened. I know it. Sean.... I hope your okay...........Sean.

'Oh get over it.' Stay out of this! Something's wrong. I know it. 'Oh, something's definetly wrong all right. But you can't do anything about it right now.' He could be hurt. 'Calm down. Relax.' I felt the tension start to evaporate from my shoulders. 'Good. Now breathe.' I inhaled deeply. 'Now exhale.' I exhaled slowly. 'See, calm. And look at that, we're here.' Finally.

"Hope you had fun sport. Even if you didn't catch anything." My dad told me as I hopped out of the car.

"I did dad, thanks for taking me fishing." I flashed a brief smile before continuing on. My feet crunched under the gravel as I walked away from the car. I stepped onto the porch, opened the door, and walked in my house. Ok, so I just need to get a jacket and I can go and get Sean.

"Honey? Is that you?" My mom asked.

"Nope."

"Very funny."

"I'm just going to get a jacket, then I'll go and get Sean."

"Oh, honey, don't you know? Sean's already here."

"What?"

"Yeah, he got here a few hours ago. He seemed really upset."

Crap. 'Uh-oh.' My thoughts exactly.

I don't know what I was expecting to find when I walked into my room. I know it wasn't what I found. I opened my door slowly, creaking it open. Sean sat there on my bed. He was facing me with a blank look on his face. His eyes had lost their luminosity. What the hell happened?

"How was your trip?" His voice was hollow, empty.

"Sean...... What happened?" I got down on one knee in front of him so we were eye to eye. His blank, dark green eyes met mine. A single tear ran down his cheek. "Sean." Tears began leaking from my eyes as well. His head came forward and buried itself in my chest. Sobs wracked his entire frame as he breathed in ragged, wrenching breaths. His arms hugged me tighter. Honestly he constricted my breathing a little. More wrenching sobs wracked his body. I felt a wetness spreading across my chest as he cried. Dear God, what happened? I rocked him back and forth, shh-ing in his ear. "It's okay." I whispered in his ear. His breathing hitched again. I held him there for who-know-how-long. Rocking back and forth the entire time. My hand was stroking his hair, feeling the soft, smooth locks. By the time he lifted his head my shirt was soaked through and it hurt when my blood rushed back through the places where Sean had squeezed too hard.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked him in a whisper. His nose was running, his face red, and his eyes swollen. He breathed noisily through his nose. I reached to my nightstand and got a tissue.

"Th.. Thanks." He choked out. He wiped his nose. "When... When you left..." He choked up again. "I w-w went home. T.. To play video games and my mom. She.. She was watching something." He paused to wipe his nose again. "On the news about..us." He breathed in.

"What do you mean? When you say 'us'?"

"Remember the h-homophobe from the movies?" Oh crap. "He got off on the charges of r-rape because noone got a good look at me. So they couldn't find us. B-but when she heard him say that there were two little gay boys at the movies..... and that he was trying to save their souls.... She went off." He sobbed again. "Sh-she started spouting off about how... about how gays were corrupting our youth. About how, if she could get a hold of those kids, she would lock them away in a prison somewhere for the mentally incompetent. She said that the fags are all going to burn in hell for turning away from god. I don't want to go to hell Cody." He was crying again. "B-but neither do I want to give you up. F-for the first time in my life, I feel truly happy when I'm with you. Are we evil?"

"No! No, of course not." I didn't know how he could think that 'he' of all people was evil. "How can you think that?"

"Th-the bible says that we're evil. Leviticus 18:22 'Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.' I read it Cody. I know what the bible says about us. I don't want to burn." He was sobbing again now. I pulled him onto my lap.

"Listen to me." I said in his ear. "The bible says 'detestable', not 'unforgiveable'. I think that, at that time, we were thought of as sinners. We're considered 'evil' because God intended for a man and a woman to come together and create a child. We don't reproduce when we do stuff, that's why we're considered evil. The bible says that the only unforgiveable sin is rebuking God as 'The' God." I kissed his forehead.

"Then shouldn't we stop?" His voice was quivering.

"Sean," I blinked back tears. "if you want to stop, then all you have to do is say so." I began crying softly. "If you want to go...... I'll let you go." 'If you love something, right?' Yeah...... 'Look, on the bright side... No matter what he says, you'll always have me.' Great, that makes me feel 'SO' much better.

"No...." His head was pressed into my chest. He hit my left pec. "Why do you have to be so selfless?" He cried into my chest. "Fight Cody! I don't 'want' to be 'let' go. I want you to keep me." His tear-swollen eyes breached my own. "Don't ever let me go." He buried his face in my chest again. Hitched breaths and wracking sobs dominated his entire being.

"Never." And I pulled him into a hug that lasted the next hour.

Sean

I was out of tears, out of breath, out of sobs. I felt my arms around the angel that was Cody. I felt the dampness of the cloth beneath my cheek. I'd probably stained his shirt with tears. His hand was stroking my hair while his deep breathing combined with the stroking to put me in a trance-like state. I knew not the time. Time did not exist when I was with him.

"Cody?" My voice was still a little hoarse.

"Hmm?" His head was resting lightly on mine.

"I have to pee." He chuckled a little.

"Ok." He stopped srroking my hair. "How bout' we watch a movie when your done."

"Now? Isn't it a little late for movies?" It had to be, like, midnight.

"It's only-y... Nine O'clock." He smiled.

"Really?" It seemed so much later. Long day I guess. "That sounds cool. What're we gonna watch?"

"It's a surprise." That sounds 'very' reassuring.

"That's cool." I opened the door of the bathroom and walked in. Oh, that is so much better. My pee turned the toilet water a light gold color. Wonder what we're watching?

Cody

Sure do have a lot of movies. We've thought about buying a projector and starting our own movie theatre. Okay now what are we gonna watch? I was shifting through some old movies. Something that Sean's never seen... I was looking through the 'R's' when I found it. Ha! Bet he'd love that! I picked up the movie and went down stairs. Sean appeared in the doorway.

"What're we watching?" He asked as he practically stomped down the stairs.

"Bad mood?"

"What, no. Just really tired."

"Well, try and stay awake okay?"

"Why? Oh dear God, it's Brokeback Mountain isn't it?"

"Hahaha! No, we don't have that one, though I did think about it."

"Then what are we watching?"

"You'll see." He walked over and sat next to me on my couch. He pulled his feet up so he was leaning into me, with his feet by his butt. Slowly the opening credits began to role. There was a purple background, with an old looking city. A really deep voiced guy began a narration and violin type music started playing.

"Old movie." Sean said. It was remastered, but it still looked fairly old. Then the words 'Romeo and Juliet' popped on the screen. "You have got to be kidding me." He looked up at me. "Really?"

"Yes, really. Now watch." And so we watched the 'tragic story of Juliet and her Romeo.'You are such a fag.' Said the little voice in my head. I know. I told it back, and wrapped my arm around Sean.

R&R to johnmeyerz36@yahoo.com I know I know, that 'Romeo and Juliet' thing is so-o corny. However, I like the movie. It's the version of Romeo & Juliet with the hot romeo. Ya, you know the one. The Romeo looks a bit like Zac Efron. Anyway, I thought that would be funny. The next chapter is where it's at. It took a while to build up to it, but the next chapter has it. First oral sex scene. Ooooo-oooooo. I think I did a pretty good job with it too. Be sure to read that one. Oh, and I've gotten a few requests from some of my readers to write other stories. I am happy to announce that I will, indeed, be writing other stories. Not 'till this one is done though.

Next: Chapter 6
