NEEDING YOU By Neqs Chapter 5
It was a whistling Lance who knocked on the door of the room Josh and Justin were sharing. Justin, who opened the door after a long wait, was less than welcoming, although he did let his guest in.
"It's fucking ten a.m. Lance," the international pop star grunted, although it was doubtful how he recognised the other man with his eyes still screwed almost shut. "Where's my cereal then, if I have to be awake this damn early?"
Lance had wisely planned ahead and ordered breakfast beforehand from Marshall's room, and the food was delivered shortly.
Josh slept on in the other room, and Lance smirked at the grumpy blonde slowly returning from the land of the living dead.
"You did say first thing in the morning, Justin! And ten really isn't that early, you know," Lance retorted. He was bubbling with excitement, but also feeling strangely serene. He had no intention of telling the younger man anything until he was coherent enough to beg for details about Lance's evening.
Once Justin's brain awoke with the help of cereal, his curiosity peaked. "Come on, tell me everything!" he demanded, grinning widely.
"Oh, I don't know, you didn't seem that interested five minutes ago. I don't think you really want to hear about my boring night," Lance teased.
"Don't be mean, Poofu, you know I'm not responsible of my actions before breakfast. Hey, last night wasn't really boring, was it?" Justin asked worriedly.
"No, it was great!" Lance exclaimed, falling into Justin's trap and forgetting his plan of torturing the nosy singer. "We had some dinner, and watched a movie all snuggled together on the sofa. He also asked me to be his boyfriend!" Lance finished excitedly.
"Oh my god!" cried his overjoyed friend, transforming from grouchy bitch to squealing queen in the blink of an eye. "Isn't this a bit sudden, though? I mean, you only met the day before yesterday, you hardly know each other," Justin tried to temper his enthusiasm.
"I know that it might seem premature, but last night we talked for hours about anything and everything. I really like his company and I think he's extremely attractive. Plus he's a celebrity like I am so there won't be any problems with not knowing if the other person could be trusted or if he resented that I was on the road a lot. Besides, he's funny and sexy and he makes me feel all tingly inside, so what's not to like?"
Justin looked at his friend and co-worker very carefully. Lance seemed oddly tranquil. Uncharacteristically happy. He had always been a good-natured man, but sometimes he didn't let himself enjoy life as much as he should. Instead, he buried himself in his work and experienced light-hearted revelry and levity only through the shenanigans of his wilder band mates. On those rare occasions when Lance joined the partygoers or picked up guys he always felt out of place and felt depressed afterwards.
Now Lance seemed more balanced somehow. More grounded and less prone to mood swings. What was so special in Marshall Mathers that had brought such a change over Lance, especially in such a short time? Justin had to know.
"If you're happy, I'm happy. And you if anyone deserve happiness. So, when do we get to meet the guy?"
"Umm," a startled Lance answered, "I'm not sure. I'll ask him sometime if he'd like to meet you guys some day soon."
"Great! But now, tell me every detail about last night," Justin commanded imperiously. And Justin Timberlake always got what he wanted.
Lance and Justin chatted animatedly for some time until a groggy, pyjama-clad Joshua Chasez stumbled from the direction of the bedroom and flopped into his lover's lap. Justin looked down at the seemingly boneless pile of gorgeous man-flesh and kissed his stubbly cheek, provoking an answering kiss somewhere in his neck and an amicable mumble.
"I wore him out last night," Justin stage whispered to Lance, earning himself a not-so-gentle bite in the sensitive skin of his neck.
"Ouch! On the other hand, Josh is always so misunderstood in the mornings, the sweet darling never gets enough sleep," Justin hurried to remedy the situation. Josh licked the spot he had bitten and rested his head in the crook of Justin's neck, ready to fall asleep where he slouched.
"Oh no you don't Josh, the rest of the guys will be here for breakfast any minute now so you can't fall asleep on me again," Justin warned his boyfriend. Three seconds later, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it," Lance offered helpfully, seeing that Justin had his hands full of sluggish boyfriend.
The missing two fifths of Nsync entered and directed their steps to the food cart.
"Damn, this is all cold!" complained Chris, while Joey kept on piling food on his plate.
"It's food, man," he said to Chris, "what does it matter what its temperature is?"
"Oh my god!" Chris exclaimed. "Joey, did you notice there were more than two syllables in that word you used? Are you sure you're not ill or something?" he asked worriedly.
"Very funny Christopher! I'd laugh if I weren't under the inescapable obligation of ensuring the immediate satiation of my immitigable appetite," Joey answered without looking up from his plate, leaving Chris dumb-founded and causing Lance and Justin to howl with laughter. Josh just burrowed his nose deeper into Justin's neck, making small, irritated noises.
"Come on, love, time for breakfast," Justin tried to coax his lover. "If you eat quickly we'll have time to take a long shower together before leaving for the studio," he offered as a bribe.
Josh considered the proposal and agreed whole-heartedly. He clambered up from his comfortable seat and haphazardly filled a plate, returning to sit on the sofa, though not on Justin this time, and began happily munching away. He was finished in no time and proceeded to drag Justin towards the bathroom.
"We leave at two, right?" Justin called out without looking back, just making sure. After an affirmative from Lance, he slammed the bathroom door shut behind them and locked the door with an audible click.
"That was so more disturbing than anything anyone should be faced with before lunch," Chris muttered, before turning to stare at Lance with his liquid, bird-like eyes. "And how was your date with Eminem?" he asked teasingly, cocking his head inquisitively.
"It went wonderfully, thanks for asking. And yes, you might get to meet him sometime in the near future. And yes, we are now officially a couple. And yes, I know it's soon, but it feels right for me. Satisfied?" Lance said all in one breath.
Chris blinked a few times. "Gee, I don't remember asking that many questions, but I'm sure you're right. Oh, and I'm happy for you, by the way," he answered sarcastically.
The three bantered on while unhurriedly filling their stomachs. Lance had already eaten so he just nibbled on some fruit. They made their exit, however, when they began to hear peculiar noises over the sound of running water.
"We leave in thirty," Lance shouted over his shoulder as he fled the room on Joey's heels; Chris was already opening the door to his room, gesticulating wildly with his free hand. Maybe the two would hear and even remember it; right now, Lance just wanted out of there.

- The group of pop stars that entered the limo was a freshly showered one. Two of them looked slightly dazed, while one blond singer was immersed in thought.
-
'I can't believe everything that has happened to me in the past few days. It's like magnetism, the strength of my attraction towards him. I'm almost afraid of what could go wrong. But that's in the future and I plan to enjoy this while I can. Nothing lasts forever in this business, weeks, months maybe, but not forever. So I've learned to savour every moment of doing something that feels right. How rare that is.'
It had been the circular motion of a warm hand rubbing his tummy that had roused Lance from his sleep that morning. When he opened his eyes into slits, the sight of a sleep-tousled god with the most intense blue eyes, resting his head on his hand and gazing at him thoughtfully, met him.
Lance rolled onto Marshall, catching him by surprise. The blue-eyed man yelped, startled, producing a laugh from the younger man with chartreuse eyes. Soon they were both laughing and wrestling on the already tousled sheets. When they paused to catch their breath, with Marshall straddling Lance and holding his arms over his head, their gazes locked. They leaned into each other and started their day with a hot, breathy kiss.
They exchanged smiling good-mornings and lay in a heap of flesh, enjoying the peaceful feeling a while longer before starting their day. They dressed and ordered breakfast, listening to Ella Fitzgerald's 'A-Tisket, A-Tasket' while waiting for the food to arrive. They felt comfortable enough in each other's company not to feel obligated to fill the silence with empty chatter. It was a companionable silence with no tensions or undercurrents. The morning was so fresh, and the company so pleasant, that the men could just be themselves for a few moments without having to worry about appearances or impressions.
They ate breakfast. Lance ordered for some to be sent to Justin and Josh's room as well, because that was where the band was supposed to gather to eat that morning. Soon he had to leave.
"I'd better go now. Will I see you tonight?" asked Lance, still a bit unsure about the limits of their freshly established relationship.
"Yeah. Come over when you're done for the day. I've got a meeting to attend at two but I should be back here before six o'clock," Marshall said.
Lance kissed his boyfriend goodbye and made his way to his friends' room. Why was it only ten a.m., couldn't time fly faster or something, because Lance was in a hurry to reach the evening?
Marshall yawned. The meeting was long and boring and he was being distracted by images of soft, white skin and luminous, sincere green eyes. He barely managed to stay focused enough to take notice of the things directly relevant to him. He had assistants who handled the more detailed stuff. Inevitably, his thoughts drifted back into the previous night.
'He was so amazing. The looks, the laugh, and the way we could talk about things for hours without awkward pauses. And the looks! He was so hot I could barely restrain myself from ravaging him then and there, but I knew the time wasn't right. Last night was for romance, tonight is for intimacy,' the rapper decided. He was pretty sure the other man would be of the same mind.
After the meeting finally came to and end, Marshall returned to his hotel and went to the gym. He worked out mercilessly, purging himself of the frustration of the fruitless way he'd wasted his afternoon. When he stopped to have a drink of water, he realised it was getting late. Wanting to be there when Lance came back, Marshall directed his steps back to his suite.
As he opened the door with his key-card, Marshall had a sudden urge to call his daughter. After a few minutes of humiliating sweet-talking to his ex-wife he finally got to speak to his daughter.
Hailie was chirpy and the two chatted about school and drawing and birds, although Hailie was doing most of the talking while Marshall just made suitably impressed and agreeing noises at appropriate intervals.
Marshall was still on the phone when Lance knocked on his door. Marshall flashed him a smiled and pecked his cheek, leading him to sit beside him on the sofa. Lance listened to Marshall's end of the conversation, somewhat bemused.
"Yes baby, that's great."
"Uh huh, I know you're a big girl already, sweetie."
"Ok, then, tell your momma to read you the story about the pastel dragons before you go to sleep."
"Good night sweetheart, I-" There was a slight hesitation. "I love you."
"I'll talk to you soon honey, now sleep tight. Bye."
When Marshall hung up the phone, he looked at Lance sideways, smiling abashedly. "That was my daughter," he explained.
"She must be a special girl," Lance said, moved by the exchange.
"She is. So, have you eaten dinner yet?" Marshall asked, turning to face Lance, who hadn't, so they ordered some quick, easy dinner stuff from room service. While waiting, they talked about their apparently equally dreadful days. After they had disposed of the food, Marshall came up with an idea.
"I'm not sure if you haven't noticed or if you're just being diplomatic, but I called Hailie immediately after coming straight from the gym after a long workout session and I probably stink to high heavens."
Lance had noticed. He was usually fastidious about personal hygiene, but Marshall's male and musky scent was not at all unpleasant. Or maybe Lance was just feeling a bit hornier than normal? Be that as it may, but when Marshall asked, "I'm taking a bath - you coming?" Lance answered with a nod and a smile, only a slight widening of the eyes revealing his surprise, both at the invitation and at his own swiftness to accept the suggestion .
The two moved to the bathroom, where Marshall ran a slightly less than steaming hot bath, adding a few drops of something smelling of strawberries into the swirling water. Soon the tub began to fill with rich, sweetly scented foam.
Lance laughed. "I haven't had a foam bath in ages! This is absolutely wonderful."
The moment of amusement helped to deflect the mild embarrassment the men might have felt about undressing under the glare of bright light fully for the first time. They slid into the tub as soon as it was full.
Lance was like a five-year-old. He collected mountains of foam around himself, puffing holes into it and blowing bubbles up into the air, laughing with childlike joy. Marshall observed this activity with amusement until Lance threw some foam at him, starting a foam war. Soon the two stars of the music world were laughing like they had lost their minds, both covered in strawberry- scented foam.
A still-grinning Marshall pulled Lance to sit against him, front to back. They settled there peacefully, slowly recovering from their regression to early childhood at its best. Lance leaned back, resting his head on Marshall's shoulder, as hands began to explore bodies in lazy circles. The bath was too hot for them to become too hot, and soon they had to leave if they wanted to avoid falling asleep right there like Marshall had the previous day.
They dried each other quickly and put on some loose sweats. They resumed their former position on the sofa as they sipped some coke, watching the news (nothing interesting had happened) and didn't watch the following sitcom. Instead, Lance turned to face Marshall and the pair engaged in some heavy kissing and touching. They revelled in the touch of each other's bare flesh, kissing and caressing it, fingers painting mysterious symbols as they traced beautifully formed muscles.
By silent agreement the two closed the television and made their way to the bedroom, some part of their bodies always touching. After short trips to the bathroom they were all over each other again.
They sweats were easily gotten rid of, and the blondes tumbled onto the soft mattress in a tangle of urgency. Lance's hand found Marshall's cock and gave it a light squeeze.
"I remember this one. We met once and he was very nice. I'd like to reacquaint myself to him. May I?"
This was not a question that required an answer. If it was, Marshall surely expressed his approval by pushing his tongue invitingly down his boyfriend's throat. He began to moan softly and with rising pitch as Lance's hand moved rhythmically up and down his member. After the hours long foreplay they'd had there was no way Marshall would last long.
He didn't. Within minutes he was gasping and thrusting up to Lance's fist, exploding with a yelp, languorously kissing the man who had given him pleasure. When Lance made as if to relieve himself, he intervened.
"What are you doing, James? I'm more than capable of getting you off. Besides, I owe you a blow." And with that, Marshall licked his way down Lance's chest, pausing to inspect the goods. 'Very nice.' Then he began his work. He licked, sucked, and nibbled carefully. He swirled his tongue around the sensitive head and teased his lover until he began to whimper.
"Em...please...oh, Em!"
Then Marshall went to town and started to swallow more and more of the singer's cock, moving up and down with surprising grace.
Lance looked down at his platinum head. 'I can't believe Eminem is sucking my dick. No, bad thought, evil thought! That's your boyfriend, Lance, and what he's doing is out of this world!' Lance's introspection was interrupted by his impending orgasm. "Em, I'm almost there...uh...I'm coming!"
And with that Lance shot his gift down Marshall's throat, hips jerking in time with the spurts. He closed his eyes, panting, while a smug Marshall crawled up beside him and pulled the covers up over them. He grinned at the dazed Mississippian. "You like?"
"Oh yeah!" Lance replied enthusiastically, pulling the other close and ravaging his lips. He definitely liked.
