Disclaimer: I don't know anybody from N Sync, though I'd sure like to, and thus this story is fiction and is not intended to imply anything about the true sexuality of the celebrities mentioned or any personal knowledge about their private lives. This story should not be read by anybody who is not legally allowed to read it.. So if you're underage, leave right now!!
Author's Notes: Well, something's finally happened. But what will come of this? Hmmm...RAFO!! (Read and Find Out) I promise to lay off of the cliffhangers somewhat...But they're just so much fun!!! Second, a note of correction. In my search for a close Metrolink stop in my area, I seem to have made a mistake. Thus, my choice of the Wellston stop wasnt the best one. So, the scene with the cop having the car towed away isnt likely to happen. Instead, the car most likely would have been stripped. the Wellston area isn't too nice of an area. Third, I made a mention of the date in a previous chapter. I may change that date in a future chapter, since I now have knowledge of the upcoming tour in March and April. Next, I seem to have picked up an editor. His name is Ryan. So all the grammar mistakes should be a thing of the past...Well at least, if there are any, you can blame him now.. If you have any comments, suggestions, or if you want to be added or taken off of the Never Guess Mailing List, e-mail me at THRAWN5678@aol.com. Or instant message me if ya want. I have most of the current messenger services, so chances are we'll be able to talk. Finally, if you're out there reading this, Lance, do e-mail me... Cause I'm available!!! hehe.. Actually, if any of the members of N Sync, or the BSB for that matter, are reading this story, do tell!! Your secret's safe with me!!
I want to thank everybody for their support. I want to thank my editor, Ryan, for consenting to read over and correct my story. Charlie and Jeremy, who have sent me nice e-mail practically every chapter. My fellow authors for their words of encouragement and support. And for support from viewers like you.

"Well, let's go, Lance," said Ryan. He got out his keys, and opened the door. He got in the car, and hit the door unlock button, letting Lance in. "Next stop, the Adam's Mark hotel," said Ryan starting to put the key in the ignition.
"Wait, Ryan," said Lance, putting his hand on Ryan's hand, the one with the key in it. "We need to straighten something out first."
"What do you mean, Lance?"
"What happened at the Arch," said Lance. Ryan looked down. Lance took his hand and used it to raise up Ryan's chin. Suddenly, the same feeling took hold of him that had prompted him at the Arch. Leaning forward, Lance kissed Ryan on the lips.
Chapter 11
Ryan just sat there with a stunned look on his face. He could not believe what had just happened. Lance, Lance Bass of N Sync, had just kissed him. Never in a million years could Ryan have guessed that the hottest guy on the face of the planet would kiss him.
Lance looked at Ryan's shocked face. He quickly leaned back, immediately regretting his rash actions. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Ryan. I just thought... Please don't hate me.."
Ryan quickly shook his head. "Wait, Lance. I don't hate you. You just took me by surprise." Ryan put his hand on Lance's leg. "I just never dreamed that you were gay..or that you felt anything for me.."
"Ever since I met you, I felt..something," said Lance. "I can't explain it. At first, I tried to deny my feelings. And yet, I realized that I had feelings for you. When I asked you how you knew you were gay, I needed to know for myself. After you told me, I realized that the feelings you had described matched mine exactly. More than that. I realized that I had fallen for you. When you took my hand up in the Arch, it felt so good. When I woke up in bed with you there, each time I had my arm around you, I didn't want it to ever end. When you said the word "perfect" in the Arch, I immediately looked at you. That's why I couldn't help myself, and almost kissed you." Tears started forming in Lance's eyes. "I'm in love with you, Ryan Holden. Madly and deeply."
Ryan gently brushed the tears off Lance's smooth cheeks. "Lance, I don't know what to say. What have I ever done to deserve somebody as perfect as you? I fell in love with you when you put your arms around me and told me that it would be alright. I felt so safe in your arms. I love you, no, I'm in love with you, James Bass."
"Ryan, I've always heard that everything that happens, happens for a reason. If all those things that happened yesterday didn't happen, we would never have met," said Lance.
"You're wrong about that one, Lance," said Ryan.
"Oh?"
"I know that we would have met each other eventually," said Ryan. "Because I believe we were destined to meet. At least that's the way I feel."
"Yeah," said Lance, nodding. "I feel the same way."
Lance and Ryan leaned forward and kissed. Lance's lips were so soft and nice, thought Ryan. Reluctantly, Lance ended the kiss.
"Umm, Ryan, I'm not sure if a Metrolink parking lot is the best place for this.." said Lance, suddenly realizing where they were.
Ryan blushed. "You're right, Lance. Where do you want to go? Back to the hotel?"
"Why don't we go somewhere and get to know each other better?" said Lance. "I mean, we've talked about what happened yesterday, but I want to know who Ryan Holden is. His dreams and hopes, his fears and wants."
"Alright, Lance. We need to get some gas, first. That's why I parked my car here in the first place. We'll probably want to ask the attendant over there where the nearest gas station is, cause I don't think we'll be able to get very far.."
"Sounds like a plan. And Ryan?"
"Yes?"
"Please, call me James. Lance is the performer, and the member of N Sync. Lance is a part of me, but isn't the whole me."
"Alright, James. Let's go. I'll ask the attendant where the nearest gas station is, so that he doesn't recognize you."
Ryan started the car, and drove to where the attendant was.
"Excuse me, sir," Ryan said to the attendant. "Where's the nearest gas station?"
"Ok, make a right once you leave this parking lot, then turn left at the stoplight, and then head on that road, and it'll be on the right."
"Thank you," said Ryan.
Ryan followed directions to the letter, and ended up at a Phillips 66.
"That was fairly easy," said Ryan to Lance. "Just let me fill up the tank, then we can go."
Ryan filled up the tank all the way. He was busy putting back up the gas hose, when he noticed Lance swiping a credit card at the pump. (It was one of those pay at the pump kind of pumps, obviously)
"Hey!! I was going to pay for that!!" said Ryan.
"Well, you can pay for it again," said Lance as he got into the car. "Please, let me pay for this, ok? The next time we do something, you can pay for it, ok?"
"Fine, fine," grumbled Ryan, getting in the car also. Lance turned Ryan's face, and when Ryan turned to look at Lance, they kissed again.
"Does that make it better?" asked Lance.
"Oh, yeah, it does," said Ryan. "But is a gas station any better of a place to kiss than a Metrolink parking lot?"
"Well, no, but I couldn't contain myself. If I see a sexy man who happens to be my boyfriend, I'm sure gonna kiss him," said Lance.
"Do you mean that?" asked Ryan. "Do you really want me to be your boyfriend?"
"Silly question, Ryan," said Lance. "I wouldn't want anybody else."
Ryan blushed. Then he leaned forward and kissed Lance again.
"Oh, so now it's ok to kiss?" asked Lance, teasingly.
"Yep. Let's go!! I've got a place I want to show you!"
Ryan pulled back onto the streets, and started driving.
"Come on, tell me where we're heading to, Ryan!" asked Lance.
"It's a secret, James," said Ryan. "But it's one of my favorite places when I just want to sit and think."
As they were driving along, Lance became curious as to what kind of music Ryan listened to, so he turned on the radio, and Ryan's car cd player. He heard some soothing music with a good beat, but no words.
"Is this an instrumental?" asked Lance.
"Actually, it isn't," said Ryan, "but I had this cd made with just the music, no words, so that I could sing along with it."
"Could I hear you sing, Ryan?" asked Lance.
"Nah, I'd be embarrassed. I haven't had any training or anything."
"Come on, Ry. I want to hear you sing," begged Lance.
"Ry?"
"I don't know..I thought it sounded kinda cute," said Lance. "If you don't like it, that's ok."
"Actually, I do like it," said Ryan. "I'll have to come up with one for you."
"Alright," said Lance, laughing. "Can I hear you sing now?"
"I guess so," said Ryan. He hit the right button on the cd player, so that it started the song over again.
Who can say
where the road goes
where the day flows
- only time
And who can say
if your love grows
as your heart chose
- only time
Who can say
why your heart sighs
as your love flies
- only time
And who can say
why your heart cries
when your love lies
- only time
Who can say
where the roads meet
that love might be
in your heart
And who can say
where the day sleeps
if the night keeps
all your heart
Night keeps all your heart
Who can say
if your love grows
as your heart chose
- only time
And who can say
where the road goes
where the day flows
- only time
Who knows - only time
Who knows - only time
Lance wiped his eyes. "That was beautiful, Ryan. You have a beautiful singing voice."
"Thanks, Lance," said Ryan. "I always enjoyed singing. But I know I'm not good enough to do anything professional."
"Hmmm.. I don't know about that," said Lance. "That is a beautiful song, but it was you singing it that brought it to life for me. And that song is so perfect for us. You never know about love. How it can blossom at any time. How it can grow. Only time will tell."
"That song has always touched me, but now that I've met you, it has new meaning to me. We need to make that OUR song," said Ryan.
"You're right. I love you, Ryan," said Lance.
"I love you too, James."
Well, they finally got together!! sniff sniff.. Sorry, but I get a bit emotional. But don't think it's all easy from here on. I might add a few songs here and there, when I know of one that will fit the chapter.
Tell me what you think about this chapter!!!
Only Time: Enya I just love this song!!!
