Epilogue:

OK OK OK I get the idea...I have received over 100 emails in the past 24 hours people. Here is the answer. www.stormloader.com/articwolf stonewolf@angelfire.com

The first light of the dawn crested over the horizon. Tendrils of light touched the alter coming to rest on remains of Nick. The warmth of the light touched the wasted and destroyed lifeless body. A shimmering of the air occurred as the dead flesh was heated by the sunlight. Scattered across the mountain top lay the bodies of the immortals; lifeless and unmoving. Ten hours had passed since Jonathan's outpouring of anguish and emotion, killing everything on the mountain top in Greece.

Suddenly a shriek pierced the early morning. A blue white light over took the dawn. As the light faded, Jonathan recovered from his own "death" from his outburst. Jonathan stood, stretched, and walked back to the stone stairs leading to the alter. He was unsure of what had happened. He had felt a shifting in the powers that coursed through his body. One by one he stepped walked up the stairs. Rising the fifty stairs to reach the top and to look down at the alter. As he stood there staring at Nick, one by one the immortals that had "died" on the mountain top in the outburst of Jonathan's anger recovered. They started to walk toward Jonathan, to help him, to console him. As they reached Jonathan, standing at the foot of the alter, they too, saw what he saw.

The once deep emerald green eyes of Nick were now a pale glacial blue; open, alive, awake, looking around. The charred skin and destroyed sinew were replaced anew with perfect skin. Muscles deeply corded, even more so then the ones that hung on Jonathan's body had replaced the dead flesh. Then he spoke.

"You owe me more then a weekend in bed babe after that," said Nick, his voice deeper, more textured as he rose from the stone alter.

"You're alive," said Jonathan, his voice breaking. "I thought I had killed you."

"Nope," said Nick, standing, stretching and feeling his new body. "I told you I wanted to spend eternity with you. I could feel myself slipping, dying. Each time I told myself I needed to hang on because I had to be with you. You promised me your love. I had to be there to help you keep your promise."

Jonathan reached across the alter, pulling Nick from the alter, and embracing him. Words and comprehension failed him. Nick encompassed Jonathan with his arms, his lips brushing Jonathan's ear.

"Take me home," he whispered, "My place is with you. Again. Always and forever."

Jonathan flashed a grateful glance at Kristian who nodded. In a flash of light, they were gone.

The End. ================================================== -For Nick: You may be gone in real life, but you'll always be in my heart...

They can take away my heart and my soul They can tell me that you don't love me no more But I'm your man I'm your man I won't give up or let you down I promise to always be by your side Pray for me, pray for you Pray that we'll always be

Its the way that you smile, it's the way that you cry Why I always want to be your man It's the way that I feel when I feel the emotion inside Why I always be your man It's the way that you're weak the way that you're strong Why I always want to be your man It's the way you believe and the love that you give Why I always want to be your man I pray to God, I pray for time Pray I can hold you in my arms Pray with me eternally Time is forever ours ===================================

My thanks to all who have loved this series into existence; and it's continued existence over the past two years. All good things must come to an end and this is the end of this series. It has been a great run. To all the people who have expressed their love and support for the characters, the stories, and the real life behind some of it, I have been deeply touched by your thoughts. Thanks again for a fun two years. The stories of Dorm Angel, Surfsup, and the occasional Hotel Story(when I get lucky) will continue...

Comments as always. Jon
