Last time . . .
:::Dream:::
"JC! They're coming for us! Please help!"
Josh quickly spun around and saw a girl dressed in all black, with dark makeup on and black fingernails.
"Where?" Josh asked.
"Off of the coast of Maine. We only have a short time. Please hurry."
"Wait! I need to know something."
"What?" She asked backing up a little.
Josh walked over to her and touched her face.
:::End Dream:::
This time . . .
Josh quickly sat up and looked at his hand and smelled it.
"Makeup?" Josh said as he frowned. "Meet me in the boardroom ASAP" He said telepathically to all the guys.
One by one they entered the room, all of them sitting except for Justin.
"Joey and Lance, you two need to go to Maine and locate a small group of people on one of the islands. Bring them back here. You're most likely going to meet some powerful enemies on the way there, I don't know who or what they are, but deal with them accordingly."
Lance nodded and looked at Joey, who nodded and frowned a bit.
"Why Maine Josh?" Joey asked.
"I don't have time to explain, just trust me." Josh looked at Justin, then back at the table. "Chris, you and Beryl will take Father Ramovski to Vatican City. There I want you to bring back as much info as you can on the Gods. I need this and I need it soon."
"Father Ramovski?" Beryl asked.
"He is our research guide. He knows more about curtain things dealing with the occult than we do." Lance said; Beryl almost insulted to hear it.
"Justin and I will stay here and watch over things."
Lance stood from his chair and glared at Josh.
"You can't be serious!" He said.
Justin quickly shot Lance a look of shock and anger.
"I would rather I stay here, I can . . ." Lance said, getting cut of by Justin.
"Make sure I don't burn the place down?" Justin said, his voice cold and harsh.
Lance ignored the comment and looked back at Josh.
"You still can't be serious!" Lance said sternly.
"Nice to know when you're wanted." Justin said quietly under his breath.
"Excuse me! We're not the ones who ran away Just!" Lance said looking dead at him.
Justin clinched his jaw as his muscles tensed up to the point where they were seen clearly through his shirt.
"Why did you come back Justin? Don't tell me cause you felt that the team needed you." Lance said mocking Justin at every turn. "You probably just did it cause you needed to come back to the US! Josh is going to wake up tomorrow and you're going to be gone!"
"I wouldn't do that again! And if you would open your fuckin eyes you would see that you little asshole!" Justin retaliated, slamming his fist down on the table making the part he hit splinter into pieces.
"IF I recall RIGHT, you're still the youngest one aren't you JUSTIN! Still acting it too!" Lance said walking towards him.
"Yeah, I am, and I'm about this close from kicking your ass!"
"Well, come on then you stupid fucker!" Lance said pushing Justin so hard he flew back and hit the wall.
Justin quickly stood and got into a fighting stance.
"ENOUGH!" Josh shouted as a large gust of wind filled the room.
Chris, Beryl, and Joey jumped out of the seats and backed up against the wall. They were all shocked at what had just happened. There were no vents or windows where a breeze, let alone a gust could get through.
"Josh . . . Calm down." Lance said slowly backing up.
Justin didn't move he just staid still. Josh hit the table as hard as he could and it shattered like nothing.
Justin looked over at Lance and both saw and felt the complete fear in him. Something was wrong, and Justin didn't know how to fix it.
"Freeze him!" He thought to himself and waved his hand in the air.
Lance, Joey, Beryl, Chris froze in place... But Josh didn't. He quickly looked over at Justin and then closed his eyes and calmed himself down.
"Josh . . .?" Justin asked as he walked over to the man standing in the middle of splintered wood.
"Unfreeze them . . . Please." Josh said quietly.
Justin waved his hand in the air and they all un-froze.
"All of you please do as I ask. No fighting, no bickering."
They all looked at Josh and slowly started to file out. Lance being the last to leave shut the door so the others couldn't hear them talk.
"Lance, I'm sorry, but it's like there is this part of me that . . . that I can't control, and the angrier I get, the more powerful I get, and sometimes I can't control it." Josh said in a sorrowful tone.
"I know babe, it was more my fault than anything. I just want you to know that I am glad Justin is here. Cause if nothing else he could have at least stopped you from doing something bad." After saying I love you, and giving Josh a kiss on the cheek, Lance walked out of the room and left Josh to his thoughts.
Josh looked over the room with the table in ruins. He shook his head then put his hand out and said,
"What was broken now undo, return to form, full and true."
His hand started to glow a bright blue color, and the splinters of the table rose into the air, and quickly reassembled into the table that once stood in the room.
He watched from the windows on the top floor, and saw the cars drive away to the airport. He shook his head, walked into the main hall and looked around. He could hear some chanting going on and looked inside Justin's room.
"The power that be the power that see, come to me." Justin chanted as he slowly hovered in the air.
Josh watched for a moment and then shut the door. Whatever it was Justin was doing wasn't any of his business, and he wasn't going to impose.
Josh walked slowly down the large hallway and looked out a window into the beautiful backyard. He could see the horse stables in the distance, and the snow that still lightly covered the ground. The light from the moon made the snow shine like glitter and the trees were covered in a soft crisp snow, as were the Christmas lights that decorated them. He looked around the massive castle that he called his home. The best of everything the world had to offer. As he walked down on the ground floor he heard some music coming from the clock, "Kiss me at midnight". He stopped dead in his tracks thought for a moment.
"SHIT! JUSTIN!" He said running back up the stairs.
"What is it?" Justin said as they ran into each other falling to the ground. They both sat up and started to laugh a little and Justin asked, "What's wrong?"
"Do you have a nice tux? Or do we have to buy you one?"
"Why?" Justin said as his eyes grew into large pools of ice.
"Cause we are holding a party here . . . Tomorrow night . . . New Years eve."
"New Years already?" Justin said helping Josh up.
Josh nodded then heard a small voice from downstairs.
"Oh, It's Justin." Josh said as he started to go down the stairs. "You do have a tux don't you?" Justin shook his head, and Josh smiled and said, "Don't worry. We will take care of it."
Justin shrugged and walked back to his room. Josh had forgot about the party that he was throwing. Once again the best of the best were going to be there, the governor, and some other people including some former Jive, as well as, some RCA comrades. Josh and Lance were still very involved in the music industry. After buying Jive and some other small companies; like Microsoft, which the government actually paid for. They wanted them to have the best of everything; Toyota, Honda, and Ford were also theirs. Their house, Foxglove Manor, was a fortress. It included spotlights, fences that went clear across their property, along with other devises that were installed to protect them if something were to ever happen. Of course it looked like a regular house, or castle as it was. The outside was made of gray stone; six large pillars held up the porch and two floors tall, leading to a long staircase. There were 6 floors and a control room, located in the basement. In the lobby stood a stained glass fixture on the ceiling in the shape of a dome, the fixture depicted a battle between light and dark. Five light forms were beaming towards the massive cloud in a fight between good and evil. The ballroom was almost the size of a football field in all directions. It had huge windows that were set at an angle, which at night, it would seem like as if one were dancing in the stars.
The dining room was like a huge piece of mahogany. The table seated 24, and the fireplace was made of black marble. They hardly ever used it though, normally they ate in the kitchen. The only time that the dining room was ever really used was when they had parties. There were the 25 bedrooms, each one different from the other. There were the two dens, one, which was for relaxing, and the other for research.
Josh frantically made his way around the house preparing for the next night's events. As he was making his way passed the guest quarters he heard a slight snore coming from the room. He peeked inside and saw little Justin there with his dog on his feet, both of them sleeping. Josh lightly shut the door and, thought about Justin, who was on the other side of the house. He made his way there and knocked on the door.
"Come." Justin's voice still coldly said.
Josh walked in and saw Justin messing with his gun.
"That thing makes me nervous." Josh said looking at it.
"Yeah, did when they gave it to me too."
"So how much were you going to get . . . For, killing him."
Justin not phased by the question quickly answered.
"8.6 mill."
Josh sat silent for a moment, then started to say something when Justin quickly changed the subject.
"So, how'd that table in the conference room get fixed? I didn't do it, and I checked right after I saw the cars pull out."
"Oh, umm . . . I don't know. Let me go check the logs see if some one came in." As Josh was about to walk out of the room the door slammed shut.
"Com'on Josh. How'd you do it? I know you did it. You are the only one that could have."
Josh simply looked at Justin and smiled.
"You're not the only one that can shoot lighting bolts Curly."
The door then opened and Josh walked out.
"Curly . . ." Justin thought for a moment, he then picked up the phone and called his old house.
"Timberlake residence." a teenage boy's voice said.
Justin sat speechless for a moment as tears came to his eyes.
"Johnny . . ."
"Who is this?" Jonathan said.
Justin quickly hung up the phone and fell on his bed with a tear and a smile.
