This story is a work of fiction. any similarities are completely coincidental. 'Ok.' contains love and sex between teenage boys. Any mention of celebrities or characters from tv is not an assumption of their sexuality. The obvious thing if you don't like this is to go somewhere else. If it is illegal to read this where you're from please do the same. It also contains some coarse language, just coz it's hard to write naturally without writing the way I speak. Overall I'd rate it M for mature audiences, so if you're not old enough to be here, please seriously consider not being here. This is my first public submission, but please don't hold back. If you'd like to send me an email, I look forward to it - addisyn.draco@gmail.com. Thanks to Nifty, who do an amazing job helping writers be read. Donate if you can!
Revelations.
Sometimes being a teenager is a serious physical and psychological condition. When your age has "teen" at the end of it, certain things are just a given. Especially for boys. Perpetual horniness, short temper, stupid decisions, the list goes on and on. I mean, once you start puberty, everyone has at least some understanding of these things.
What they neglect to tell you, though, is that when you randomly meet the boy of your dreams, save the universe, become a magical being and inherit one half of a cosmic set of twins, everything slows down and kind of collapses. I mean, I'm ecstatic about having Axyl in my life. Having him AS my life, if I'm going to be honest. And Kody is awesome, he's smart and cute and mature and all those things people say about their children. And Dyl is pretty awesome too, kinda like a little brother to look after. Hehe. I'd even go as far as to say that Zayk is pretty cool, I mean, he's not half as bad as he was when I met him. He seems to have changed a bit. Though I'm beginning to miss our insane magic death matches. Gotta have some danger in life, right?
And I'm 18 years old with a 13 year old son!? Heaps of good stuff? Sure. It's all good on the surface. It sounds wonderful. But when all of this hits you within the space of a week and a half, you kind of hit 'overload' status. So, needless to say, I was pretty vulnerable when I woke up that morning after I met my 13 year old son.
Ax woke me up kissing my neck and whispering suggestive Swedish phrases in my ear. That was pretty awesome. Then Kody came charging in the door, and started jumping on the bed. He was starkers. For those of you who might be unfamiliar with British/Australian slang, that means butt naked. And so were we. I mean, there's nothing wrong with a bit of nudity, but he had clothes on last night, right? So it's kind of a big step. Isn't it? Fuck.. I'm never gonna get the hang of this.
As if he was reading my mind, which he probably was, he said "Don't worry Dad, you gave me 'the talk' 5000 years ago. Just after you caught Kory and I sucking each other off. So, I pretty much know everything you're thinking about saying. It's ok, you'll get the hang of it. But there's just one more thing. I mean, we've dumped a lot on you in an hour or so last night, but you don't have the whole picture yet. Neither of you. This is still very fragile. We'll explain everything when we get home."
Then he just jumps up and fucking runs out the door. The door shuts behind him, and I just looked at Axyl. He was looking right back at me, with what I assume is the exact same expression of utter bewilderment as mine on his face. I mean, you've gotta admit, the kid has style! But I feel like I'm going to snap and pull a Britney Spears and go nuts in public. Kids, right? Ax takes me out of my stupor by grabbing my arm.
"C'mon babe, I'm starving. They're not going to stop 'til we go out there." I silently agreed, and let him lead me out to the main room. Everyone else was sitting there already, and Kody looked at Ax and I. Then he said,
"Before we get into the complicated part of this, I want to give you something, Dads. It's jewellery, which is the human thing to give someone, I hear. While I've never been human before, I'm pretty sure watching you all of this life, Daddy T, has given me enough of a clue." I'm guessing that he meant me when he said 'Daddy T'. It's just an educated guess.
Then he handed us white gold locket necklaces with engravings on them in a strange language I've never seen before.
"Wow, Kode, these are beautiful! And what do you mean by 'the human thing to do? Am I... Are we not human?!"
"Well, ja, you kind of are human. You're human now, but you haven't always been. Most of what you remember about your human lives is true, but the way you came into this world is different from a regular human being. It's far too complicated to go into right now, it's kind of a mega universal paradox and thinking about it too much could disintergrate and delete the universe. If you know what I mean. I don't even know if I do..."
The pause before anyone spoke again was silent and almost eternal. It had to be, who can process that sort of thing in a couple of seconds?! A full 3 minutes later, I had to say something.
"Ok, so let me get this straight.. So to speak... When I met Axyl at the shop that day and took him home, I triggered some kind of insane intergalactic signal that caused the universe to nearly end and my kid to come and surprise the fuck out of me the night that Ax and his previously homicidal twin brother stop the annihaltion of the entire planet and woken up from a coma." I ramble. I mean, I suppose the whole thing makes sense in a way. If you don't think about it.
"Well, kind of, you got the basics of it. But you're definitely thinking the right things, it's just a bit more... vast and incomprehensible. The thing is, you know more about this than I do. Well, you did. Or will. See? It's hard to explain, or define. It's giving me a headache." Kody tried to reply. I mean, he's got me there, it is pretty hard to think about.
"Ok... ok... I think I might actually know what you are saying. But what I don't understand, well, one of the growing number of things I don't understand, is how can we possibly be these immortal things you say we are. I've got parents, and so do Ax and Zayk. Sure, we didn't really know them, but Dyl was telling us about his parents kicking him out! If we've always been here, where did we come from?" Ok, maybe a bit of a random outburst, but it got everyone's attention. Kory started to giggle, while Kody just looked at me, smiling like the perfect little angel he probably isn't.
"Oh, Daddy, I think we've melted your brain a bit too much to deal with here. How bout we take this back up at home? " Kody said.
"Home? Which home? Who's home?" I exclaimed. I mean, these boys are right, my brain did feel like it was leaking out of my ears, and I would love to sit down in my smoking room and get so insanely stoned that I can't be expected to think for another month or so, but he couldn't be talking about my house. Could he?
"Your home, Dad! Duh! You're the only one here with their own house!" Ok, he might be talking about my house. Go figure. I think that was when I sat down and started rocking back and forth. It felt good, actually. It sort of made the ground seem like it wasn't falling out from underneath me. Ax was kinda doing the same, right next to me. I say kinda, because while I was rocking, he was sort of vibrating. And glowing. Or maybe I had too much to drink last night. It wasn't like it was a bad thing, I'd just never seen my boy when he's overwhelmed like this. It's kinda comforting. Didn't help me to stop rocking back and forth though. I think I was looking at help in the rear view mirror, I was just glad Ax was in the same situation.
After 15 minutes or so of this, I conjured a bong and some weed and started smoking. Ok, so when I smoke pot, I don't have blackouts or anything, it has just never happened to me before. But I can honestly not remember a second after that. That's ok, I'm sure it couldn't possibly be more interesting than the last few hours.
*Hey guys, Addi here. Sorry about the delays, my muse is being a bitch and wasn't inspiring me much. Chapter 30 is gonna be a little different to the previous 29. Kody has been bugging me to get his point of view in the story, so I'm gonna give him a go for Ch. 30. I'll warn you, he likes to talk. A lot. And he uses big words. Just so you know. Hope you're loving OK! If you do, talk to me! I love meeting my fans.
