Prince vs. Princess Chapter 1 GeberaDaisy22@yahoo.com

Hi everyone. This is my first attempt at writing, and I hope it turns out at least halfway decent. It's one of those "it came to me in the middle of the night and wouldn't leave me alone" stories, so it's pretty much writing itself. Please send me comments! I don't know if I'll continue it or not. It all depends on whether people enjoy it or hate it. The chapters will probably be a bit shorter than the norm. I don't know why, that just seems to be the way they turn out. I can't think of anything else to say about it except... Please email me at GeberaDaisy22@yahoo.com with all your comments. Good and bad.

I want to recommend a couple other Nifty stories here. I've been here reading for about 4 months now and I've found so many good ones that have kept me up until the wee hours of the morning. The ones I'm currently reading are... "Calming Waters" "Intimate Stranger" "Lance n JC" "My Surprise Romance" and "No Strings Attached". They are all great (although with a few of them I am wondering if the author is still alive) so check them out.

Disclaimer: This story is a complete work of fiction. I have no connection to any of the celebrities in this story. I do not know their sexual preference. Again... This story is a COMPLETE work of fiction. If you are offended by slash stories, please leave. If you are not old enough to be reading this story, please leave. Ok, I think that covered everything.

****************************************************************************** Chapter 1

As Lance sat on the bed he couldn't help but wonder what was happening in room 816. Was she telling him everything? Was he yelling? Crying? Or worse... Silent? Or maybe she decided she was in love with him after all. He started pacing, trying to think about something else. Anything else but this.

Then the door slowly opened. He stopped as he saw her standing there. Her face was emotionless. For the first time he couldn't read her thoughts, her feelings, and it scared him. Then she smiled. It was over, he thought. We can stop all the lying, and he let out the breath that he didn't realize he had been holding. She rushed into his arms and kissed him. After a moment he pulled away.

Looking directly directly into her eyes he asked, "What happened?" He didn't know what to expect. His heart was racing and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer. But, of course, he had to.

She sighed and said, "He took it well. Mostly."

"Mostly?"

"I told him, Lance. I told him everything. I told him how I felt about you the first time I saw you. I told him how I felt when you touched me. I told him that I couldn't stop my feelings for you. I told him how hard I had tried to, for his sake and for mine. The weird thing though, Lance, was that he seemed to understand. Like he had been there before. I told him that we have been 'seeing' each other for two months now, but that it's been there for so much longer. That I can tell you anything and never feel self-conscious." With a deep, nervous sigh she added, "Lance, I told him that I love you."

She couldn't bring herself to look at him. She'd never told him any of that before, hoping that it wasn't true. But it was and now she had a tiny voice of doubt wondering if he truly felt the same.

He put his fingers under her chin and wiped away the tears that streamed down her perfect face. "I love you, too." was all he said.

And with that they knew that the deception, the lies, the hiding, it was all over. They were free to love each other. Or so he thought.

She couldn't bring herself to tell him the rest, and she was sure Justin wouldn't say anything either. What Justin had said after she told him that the other man, the man she was now in love with, was Lance; was something that she wanted to forget. And she tried. She filed it at the back of her mind, not giving it another thought.

He pulled her in for a kiss. A kiss like none they'd shared before. For the first time he felt free against her lips. He searched for guilt, for shame, but he found none. And then, for the first time, he let himself get completely lost in her.

Justin didn't know whether to laugh or cry or scream. All he could do is stand there and stare at the door. His emotions didn't seem to be working. He was numb. He had known this was coming, but the sick twist it had taken had thrown him off. He did love her, but he knew they were coming to an end. It was obvious these past few weeks. The only thing he couldn't figure out was... Why Lance? Of all the people she could fall in love with, why did it have to be Lance? Justin couldn't stand anymore. His body gave out from under him and he sunk to the floor. His mind, body and heart all seemed to be disconnected from each other. What Justin didn't know was that his face was showing everything that was running through his mind and heart. His normally smooth facial features were contorted into a look of pain and agony. At that moment the door opened and Chris walked in. His breath was instantly taken away when he saw the sobbing, broken Justin in a lump on the floor. When Chris got his breath back he ran to Justin, calling his name. No reaction came from the young boy. Justin had retreated inside himself while dealing with the pain. Chris could only hold and rock Justin. He couldn't think outside of that. He'd never seen the boy this broken down and could only speculate as to what had broken through the stone mask the young star was always wearing. ***************************************************************************** Ok, so what do you think? Let me know... GeberaDaisy22@yahoo.com... I hope to hear from at least one person!
