Rian Chapter 11

Half an hour and twenty lashings later, Rian lay on his bed staring at a spot on the wall. His bum was once again hurting so much it ached all over. The burning hot stinging feeling making the occasional tear run down already tear stained cheeks. Rian wished once more that this had never happened. That he had never said a word to his parents, that he wasn't really gay. Yet he would never have met Jake otherwise.

At school the next day Rian found Julian and apologized, explaining that his grandparents didn't like him having friends over. Julian knew then that it had been a family member that hurt him. He watched as Rian smiled a brittle smile, then walked away with a slight limp that wasn't there the day before.

Julian was determined to do something to cheer Rian up.

It was a week later when Julian managed to fulfill his plan through numerous secret means. He sat and waited as kids poured into the school through the gates. Rian appeared and Julian waved him over.

"Morning Jules." Rian said giving him a brief hug.

"Morning Ri." Julian gave him a big grin.

Rian gave him a suspicious look. "Why are you so happy to see me?"

Julian gave him a fake look of absolute hurt. "What? I'm not allowed to be happy to see you?"

Rian narrowed his eyes and was about to make a comment when Julian spoke.

"Hey, who's that kid over there? He must be new."

Rian turned to look. Then he looked again. Standing across the road, leaning on his car with a massive grin on his face was Jake.

"Wha?" Rian thought he was imagining it. Then Jake waved him over.

Suddenly Rian felt his heart speed up to a million miles an hour, his grin threatened to break his face. He dropped his bag.

Amy, James and Chris who were walking towards the boys were amazed to see Rian so happy, having never seen him like that before.

Rian ran. His brain was going nuts and he felt an overwhelming desire to kiss Jake. Which is what he did. Throwing his arms around Jake when he reached his boyfriend, Rian managed also to wrap his legs around Jake's waist. Jake staggered but straightened. About to talk he was cut off by a pair of lips landing squarely and quite vigorously on his own.

Rian groaned into Jake's mouth as the two kissed, with more and more heat. Jake's arms were under Rian's arse, holding him up. When Jake pulled away they were breathing heavily and staring at each other. Rian leaned in and started softly kissing his neck, oblivious to the other kids milling around.

Jake however saw the stares and whispers of the other kids. "Shit Rian. Did we just out you?"

Rian pulled back and smiled. "I'm out here. Well sort of. I'm sure everyone had guessed by now."

Jake looked at Rian. He noticed the pain hidden behind those beautiful green depths. Yet he also noticed another look. A fierce determination.

"So you're ok with pashing some boy in the middle of the school yard?" Jake was watching carefully for any reaction.

Rian just grinned. "You're hardly some boy. I've told all my new friends about you. And besides, I just don't give a shit about that anymore."

Jake leaned in and kissed Rian very softly. "I missed you. All the guys at soccer asked me where you were." Jake let him slide out of his arms.

"Really? Like who?"

"Well." Jake wrapped his arms around Rian and pulled the slimmer boy against his own more muscled body. "Jackson and Avi and Sundeep and Chris. Even Mr Cornel."

Rian smiled. "I kinda miss soccer."

Jake pulled Rian harder against him. "God its good to see you."

A thought suddenly struck Rian. "Why are you here? I mean its great to see you but^Å"

Jake grinned. "Your friend called me. Julian. He said you needed to see me."

"Huh." Rian turned to look at Julian who had a massive grin on his face. "How did he get your number?"

"Said something about sneaking it out of your bag when you weren't looking." Jake grinned again, squinting over at Julian. "I like him. Though he's very attractive, well from what I can tell from here."

Rian laughed at Jake's suddenly suspicious look. "You don't have to worry. Besides he's got a boyfriend." Julian slaunted over a few seconds later with Amy and James trotting after him. He tossed some keys at Jake who caught them instinctively.

"No one's home at my place today. Those are the keys. Remember to change the sheets." Julian smirked.

Two very red faced boys looked back at him. Rian buried his head in Jake's chest. "Jesus."

"Come on kids. We're all old enough to talk about sex."

Amy smacked Julian in the stomach. "Give the boys a break. If they want to go fuck like bunnies on your bed then let them do it in peace."

Rian stared at Amy. "Thanks for nothing." He mumbled.

"I'm Jake by the way." Jake held out his hand around Rian who was still in his arms.

"Amy, James and Julian." Amy replied in her usual kinda blunt fashion.

Rian just rolled his eyes. The bell rang before anything more could be said. Julian grabbed the other two and dragged them away. Over his shoulder he called out his address.

"Should we go?" Jake asked softly.

"To Julian's house?" Rian thought about it as he stared at Jake. He nodded. "Ok."

They were quiet as Jake drove. Both were thinking about what would happen when they were both truly alone together. Jake kept glancing at Rian as he drove. He looked thinner somehow and Jake felt this weird urge to feed him. He shook his head slightly. He was thinking like his mother.

At the house the two walked in silence up the drive unlocked the door and went inside.

"This is weird being here. Maybe we should go." Rian said looking around the unfamiliar house.

Jake shook his head. "Julian said his bedroom is the second door upstairs."

They trooped upstairs together and opened the door. Julian's room had a few band posters on the wall, some posters of hot bare-chested men, photographs of different friends and weird memorabilia that only kids can collect. Rian instantly started looking in the photos for someone that could fit Takeshi's description.

"Um Rian?" Jake asked. "Look." On Julian's bed was the shape of a heart made out in condom packets. Julian could make them blush without even being there. Rian forgot about the photos as their eyes collided. There was an empty silence for a minute.

"We don't have to do anything Rian. I'm just happy to see you. Can we just lay and hug for a while?"

Rian felt immensely relieved and strangely disappointed at the sometime. He eagerly complied and they lay down, brushing condoms out of the way.

They talked softly about everything that came to mind, sometimes serious sometimes stupid. Rian told Jake more about what had happened with his father, tidbits about his new living arrangements but refused to say the whole story. Jake remembering another time when he did this became quite worried, wondering what was going on.

The spent most of the day in each others arms, whispering, kissing exploring. It was something they both needed.
