Face to face in the dressing room, Wrolf Jenson manages to catch Ari Carp alone.

Shirtless, Ari stood there, the collar of the dress shirt he was ready to put on, hanging by the tips of his fingers.

Walking right over to him, on his guard none of the others would catch him talking to only the hottest looking guy in the senior class, in his estimates, the whole school system, he says, "I wanted to for the longest time, thank you for standing up for me, when nobody else wanted me to participate in the Senior Fashion Show?"

"What's right is right. You're a senior like the rest of us guys." Ari glances from Wrolf's face, down the separated fabric of his shirt to where the glazing of hair met his belt-line, "Doesn't matter if you're a little...."

"Plump?" Wrolf finishes off the sentence.

A short giggle, Ari says, "The shirt fits, right?"

He watches, as Wrolf fits the shirt over his slightly rounded stomach, pulling it tight enough so the button could line up with the corresponding hole.

"Almost," Wrolf replies.

Setting his shirt aside, Ari grabs hold of the seams, "Here, breath in a little."

It was so damn tough for Wrolf to follow through with Ari's order. `Fuck!' he thought to himself, thinking he had the hottest looking stud, shirtless no less, touching the shirt attached to his bod and fastening it up the middle. "Um... th-thanks, Ari!"

He wound up looking into Ari's eyes, the two holding the pose for a few seconds.

"I better get ready," Ari breaks it off, picking up his own shirt and digging his limbs into the sleeves.

With wishful thinking, Wrolf asks, "Need any help?"

"I think I can manage, but thanks Wrolf!"

As other guys began coming back from the catwalk, Wrolf stepped back into the wings of nothingness. He wasn't sure, but he thought he caught Ari tossing a smile his way before addressing their immediate peers.

"Your on next studman!"

Wrolf sure wished it were him patting Ari on the shoulder, giving him a fake punch in the side, wishing he could have been one of Ari's favorite friends. Yet, he gloated on having one rare moment alone with him and cherished it, since it was rare for a four-eyed nerd to even speak to the hottest guy in school.

Appointed chaperone for the dressing room, Coach Ronson comes in, following Ms. Kravitz, "I hope all you ladies are decent!"

She right away gravitated to Ari, checking the creative design woven around his bod. In fact, all of the guys were telling Ari the suit, shirt, tie, everything which adorned his bod was perfectly made for him.

On the downside, Wrolf was totally ignored. Too, way before this evening, he had the feeling he was wearing some designer's reject outfit. In his own opinion, it didn't seem to match color-wise and he felt uncomfortable for that very reason. Too, no one had made the effort to adjust the front of his shirt, where two buttons covering his stomach, with the appearance of wanting to flip off from the tight fit. Though, Wrolf was happy to be part of the Senior Fashion Show at all and he titled his head, sighing, thinking it was all because of Ari!

Dreaming it off, he was suddenly awoken by the mention of his name, "Yeah, I think would be a real surprise going down the catwalk, Wrolf with me!"

"You've got to be fuckin' kiddin', Ari," one disgruntled voice led off the snickering.

Bitching, another one of the guys, tight with Ari, says, "Jenson? You `want' to be seen with that fuckin', fat slob?"

Then joking, another of the hot guys, not as hot as Ari, says, "I think Ari's coming down with something. Somebody wanna dial 911!"

But true to his thinking, Ari, figuring it the last few days of school before graduation, suddenly woke up to the fact that Wrolf Jenson was a `person', living and breathing like himself, feelings and in his own estimate, he thought the hair down his bod was kind of hot! So, cutting through the crowd of his buddies, he disregarded all and looking Wrolf in the face said, "C'mon Jenson!"

Looking around about himself, Wrolf wondered if there were more `Jensons' in the room, "Me?"

Meant to sound cute, not mean, Ari replies, "Yeah you! C'mon. The last week of school we're going to really shock the shit out of the audience!"

From the conglomerate of friends, Ari really got hit hard by the insults, he figured mostly aimed at Wrolf, to intimidate, but he stuck by his guns. He wasn't exactly sure why. He smiled a toothy grin leaving the dressing room. Maybe he had it in mind to shock more than the shit out of people, finally revealing the secret he kept all these years and Ari never felt more right about the perfect timing of it. Either the guys who have stood by him for the past four years would continue to love him or hate him. With days before graduation he didn't give a hurl.

The emcee gave a big build up for Ari, naming not only his age of eighteen, coming from an astute family of writers, his future hopes, and wanting to tear through graduate school in the hopes of becoming a scientist. As for Wrolf there was no build up, even though he was one of the `nerd family' who held a high grade point average. He didn't care that only his name was announced and without fanfare, but very much on cloud nine that he was parading down the aisle with Ari Carp!

He couldn't possibly have gotten booed, not with the highly intelligent, extremely good looking fellow senior with him, but Wrolf did hear on the sidelines comments like, `What the fuck is Jenson trying to pull?' Then, Wrolf got his first laugh at them, Ari kicking one of the guys' hands, as the rude dude tried grabbing the cuff of Wrolf's pants!

Because Ari defended him, Wrolf got cheers instead of jeers. Too, he was quite amazed when Ari took him by the hand, instead of the arm.

Now the comments gravitated to, `What's Carp trying to prove?'

Others wondered too and it was complete chaos, though the crowd quite silenced, when at the end of the catwalk, Ari spun Wrolf around, showing him off like a Barbie doll.

"That wasn't in the script!" Ms. Kravitz says, adding, "But I like it!"

Of course, the statistics hold, seven out of ten people being some kind of gender other than straight, so it wasn't only Ms. Kravitz thinking it was so awesome to see Ari Carp give Wrolf Jenson a peck on the cheek!

"He's a fuckin' queer!"

Halfway back to the dressing room Ari could see things could take a turn for the worst. With Wrolf's hand in his, he jumped stage, "Hey Wrolf, how about a pizza?"

Slowly, wading through the crowd, Ari and Wrolf made it to the exit of the auditorium. Ari was relieved upon not seeing any of his buddies, though he had a feeling one or two would not be totally mad out of their gourds at him. He did have a tense moment, Coach Ronson coming towards him, shouting in a demonstrative manner, "Hey Carp!"

"Uh-oh," Ari says to Wrolf. Then again he figured Coach wasn't going to punch him out or anything, being surrounded by other people.

"Hey, Carp," Coach caught up with them, "you better take these," he stuffs his shirt and pants he wore to the fashion show into his chest, "you too Jenson."

Ari and Wrolf just shrugged shoulders at each other, thinking just the opposite of what, at least Ari, thought was going to be Coach Ronson's ultimatum. They were equally amazed, Ms. Kravitz offering them a lift to the pizza shop, some other lady with her!

Little did the two seniors realize, later on they would be met by pros and cons to Ari's coming out on the catwalk!
