Thom was off and running with the information, checked police records and found she was wanted in two other states for burglary, fraud and running cons like this one. She was arrested one time, released on bail and skipped town. She has warrants with several counts and has several aliases in Utah and Nevada and possibly Texas as well. Her car was an unregistered 2012 grey Honda hatchback, and there were outstanding tickets with several accidents as well. They checked credit cards and found some transactions under C. Johnson, one just this morning near Salinas at a cheap roadside motel. The police were on the move to the address, hoping to find John alive.
When they arrived after calling the motel and asking if a Miss Johnson had recently checked in, he said just an hour ago and she was in room 6. They quietly went to the room, knocked and a female answered with "yes?" The policeman answered, "It's the manager and I need to check on the phone line as it seems to be out of order." She stated she wasn't dressed and to come back later, in a strangled, sort of a quivery voice. The policeman said, "We really need to check it now." The lady replied, "Just a minute!" and as she opened the door the police pushed their way in and held her while the others checked the bathroom and there was John tied up and gagged in the bathtub. Shaking, he started to cry as they untied and ungagged him and got him out of the tub. Then he leaned over and threw up in the toilet. "THANK YOU!" he murmered.
By this time, they had Connie in hand cuffs and were reading her Miranda Rights as she was being taken to the squad car mumbling it was just not fair. All she wanted was a comfortable life. Meanwhile, they were on the phone to San Francisco to report that things were fine and John was found alive (and other than being scared) he was unharmed.
When asked what happened, John told them that Connie had called and asked if they could have lunch. She would pick him up and they would have a romantic picnic in a nearby park. He got in her car and she handed him an iced tea and a nice sandwich. John said when he had drunk about 1/4 of the iced tea, he started to feel light headed and then next thing he knew he was in this motel room. Then you all arrived. "Thank You. I am so tired. Can I go home now please?" The police said that his wife had sent a note, actually a FAX, to his bosses and demanded a $15,000,000 ransom. "OH My God!" John exclaimed. "She seemed so sweet and kind, and as you saw - very beautiful. I know it was fast romance, but I was lonely and fell hook, line and sinker."
She said she was unemployed, she had just lost her job as a secretary due to cutbacks in staff, and then asked what I did for a living? I said I was a bank manager. The sex was great for about a week and then that stopped saying she wasn't up to it and was tired from looking for work all day. Then today she called and said we should have lunch because she thinks she got a job. So, here we are, and I am so glad this is over!"
"I hope I still have a job when I go back."
"I really don't think that will be a problem, but let's get you to a doctor at the ER and have you checked out to make sure you're OK!" said the officer in charge.
John was loaded into a squad car and they were off to the ER. He checked his wallet to find all his credit cards were there, but his $56.00 in cash was missing. The officers made note of this. On the way to the ER he asked if he could call his office to check in and tell then he was fine. One of the officers, named George, handed him his cell phone and John dialed the office. Daniel and the rest of the office were over-joyed to hear from John and that he was on the way to the ER to be checked out. Daniel was sending a limo to bring him home, when he was cleared by the doctors.
John sighed with relief and almost started to cry. "You mean I still have a job?" "Why would you think any differently? Of course you still have a job and a big raise as well, starting yesterday!"
"You're an excellent employee and we want you here for as long as you want to be here. Have a safe trip home and take the rest of the week off with pay, of course!" We will have one of our lawyers come by later in a day or two and get a statement from you and we will add charges if necessary."
"Also, please think about an annulment for your of a sham wedding! I am sure we can make that happen if you like. Take it easy and call when you get home." Let me know if you need anything at all. UNDERSTAND?" ANYTHING!" With a huge sigh of relief, he hung up.
The ER checkup went fast and John was pronounced fine and free to go. A nurse came in and said there was a driver and car waiting for him outside. He got dressed and went outside and was asked if he wanted anything? "Maybe some water and some peace and quiet." He settled in the back seat of the Town Car with his bottled water, and fell asleep on his way back to San Francisco and his apartment. He had dreams about moving and getting away from the memories!
When he arrived home, there were flowers and dinner waiting and a card signed by everyone at the bank branch. All he could think about at the moment was a very hot shower, then maybe dinner and sleep for about two days. He ate what had been left by the office for dinner and crawled into bed in the guest room, as he could not bear to sleep in the master bed. As he fell asleep, he thought he needed to move, since he no longer wanted to be in that apartment., after tonight. He would see about that in the morning. He drifted off and had a restless night, but managed a few hours of sleep.
Meanwhile, Robbie, his brother Dan and his father were all greatly relieved that everything was OK and John was not hurt other than shaken up quite badly.
Robbie called Tommy and told him everything that had happened and that everything was going to be OK. He also said he was headed home to get a few things, then the grocery store to get stuff for dinner. It was a bit late so the fancy dinner he was going to prepare would have to wait until tomorrow night and Tommy suggested Robbie pick up some Thai and he would see him when he arrived home. They said they loved each other and hung up. The Thai food Robbie brought home just hit the spot and was delicious after the day they had had and Thank GOD, it was over! After dinner, they crawled into bed and slept like the dead.
After they woke up in the morning and ate breakfast, Tommy went off to the salt mine to catch up on work that didn't get done with mess and the kidnapping and all. Robbie remembered dinner that night was with his parents. So, he called Tommy and reminded him about dinner. OH, CRAP! Is that tonight? Yep, so come home early for a nap and a snuggle.
Tommy got home about 2:00 after stopping at the store and picked up two dozen beautiful pink Roses for Cynthia and a good bottle of Scotch for Daniel, and then they napped and snuggled for a bit until it was time to get dressed for the evening. Both dressed casual in light linen slacks, slip-on loafers, and polo shirts. Refreshed, they were out the door, presents in hand.
They had an easy drive down to the Peninsula and Robbie explained that his brother Dan and wife would be there and assured Tommy they would love him. When they arrived at the gates. Robbie used the opener in his Tesla to let them- selves through as the wrought iron gate swung open. Tommy was amazed at the beauty of the estate. He marveled at the variety of trees, colorful flowers and manicured grounds. Robbie said his mother took great pride in her gardens and it showed.
They parked in the circular drive, got out and walked to the front door and rang the bell. Jackson, the house man, opened the door and greeted the boys with special greeting for Mr. Robbie. They entered and were directed to the patio. Daniel and Cynthia rose to meet their son and hopefully his future husband, Tommy. Cynthia said it was good to meet him and said their son had never been happier since they had met. Tommy presented both Blackford's with his gifts. Daniel loved the scotch and Cynthia gushed over her favorite pink roses saying it was not necessary to bring gifts. "Well Ma'am, this is the way I was done brunged up and Grammy would rise out her grave and slap me from here to next week, if'n I didn't use my goood manners!" Tommy smiled, and everyone else laughed and Cynthia hugged her new son-in-law, and said "Thank you once again."
She called Jackson and asked that the flowers be put in a good crystal vase and brought back out to adorn the table. They sat down and Jackson came to take drink orders. Just then, their cook Mable came out to start the Bar-b-que after the wine was served, the doorbell rang and Jackson promptly went to answer the door. There were Thom and Danielle Gillman and Dan and wife Maggie. They were ushered in and sent to the patio. Hello's went around and Tommy was introduced to Robbie's brother Dan and wife, Maggie and then the senior Gilmans were also introduced. Drinks were ordered as everyone sat down. The evening was stunning and warm and everyone settled in and began to chat. Some simple Hors'd oeuvres were passed as everyone chatted and got to know each other.
"What beautiful roses," Danielle commented!
"They were a gift from your darling son and greatly appreciated. Pink roses are my favorite flower!"
Thom Sr. said, "what a beautiful place. The grounds are just perfect and the atmosphere is fabulous!" Cynthia said it was their dream house and had it built some years ago as they were tired of living in town with all the noise and such. They had had a large apartment on 'SNOB HILL' laughingly and were ready for a change.
"It is close enough to town for meetings, the Opera, the theater and dinners, but we really love the quiet tranquility here!" Thom looked to his wife. "What do you think of possibility of moving down here as well?" His wife just quaked at her husband, and said they would "DISCUSS IT LATER!!" Meekly, Thom said "Yes Dear!" and everyone laughed again. Dan pulled Robbie aside and said, What a great guy Tommy was and he was so happy for them and gave his brother a great big hug.
The dining table on the patio had been beautifully set with Lenox china, Waterford crystal and an old English pattern of sterling, with cream embroidered linen placemats and matching napkins. Long tapered cream candles in hurricane cut crystal candle holders were burning. Danielle was admiring the table and asked what was being served for dinner. Cynthia said, "Grilled Ribeye steaks, with compound herb butter, twice-baked potatoes, fresh grilled asparagus and the for dessert, a frozen Grand Marnier Souffl? with tweel cookies and Espressos. "Sounds fabulous," answered Danielle. Cynthia took Danielle around the garden and chatted about bridge and the clubs they belonged to.
The men sat and discussed all that had been going on with transferring the legal work and the progress they had made so far. Thom said that a meeting scheduled in the office next week would be helpful. I will have my Executive Asst. get with yours and we can set a day and time if that is agreeable. Daniel said that would be fine and looked forward to the meeting. He asked if the boys should attend, and the answer was affirmative.
They finished their drinks and Jackson called everyone to dinner. They sat at assigned places with place cards and enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Thom and Danielle raved about the food and asked for the recipe for the souffl? as it was the best they ever had. Cynthia said she would have her cook, Mable, write it out for her. Thom and Danielle asked to have Mable come out so they could thank her for a fabulous dinner, remarking how good the Souffl? was. Mable blushed modestly said "thank you." The evening came to a close and everyone started to leave. Many thank you's were expressed.
Robbie and Tommy stayed for a bit longer and chatted. Robbie asked if he could 'borrow' the jet to go to the ranch down south for a long weekend, starting tomorrow, and if it was ok? Daniel said it was fine - just call the pilots and let them know what time you want to leave in morning and how long you want to be gone. Actually, keep the pilots with you both and have a grand time.
Tommy said thank you again to Robbie's parents and Cynthia grabbed Tommy, kissed him, and Daniel shook his hand and then pulled him into a hug. He said whole heartedly, "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, SON!" Smiling, the boys left and drove home agreeing it was a special night for them both, having the families meet. With everything that had happened that week it was nice to relax, have a great dinner with their families and happily observed that they got along great. They arrived home, undressed each other, got into the shower, washed each other, kissed, stroked each other, dried each other lovingly, crawled into bed enter-twined in each other's arms, professed their love for each other, kissed deeply and fell asleep, dreaming of how perfect life was.
In the morning, they got up, went in the bathroom and started the shower. They just looked at each other and melted into each other's arms. They kissed passionately and started to stroke each other's cocks. Robbie got down on his knees with the triple shower heads raining down on him, and took the huge raging cock before him into his mouth. He started to suck his lovers huge 10" cock with earnest. Tommy was leaking like a sieve and pulled Robbie up and asked why he got all the fun. Baby, you just taste so damn good. I want some of yours darling so they laid down and went into 69 and sucked each other with gusto. "I want more!" Robbie said, as he moved around and started to rim Tommy's asshole with great gusto. "Mmmmmm," said Tommy, and proceeded to do the same to his lover. They were both so into ass and rimming, they were in 'pig heaven' so to speak. Robbie raised his head and begged Tommy to fuck him thoroughly and to cum deep inside him. Tommy filled him with huge shots of cum. Robbie then got up, sat on his face and after a few minutes, turned and slammed himself down on Tommy's raging hard 10-inch cock again. "Fuck!"
"Ride me and fuck yourself deep and hard, cowboy," Tommy cried. Robbie did so with gusto and without touching himself, fired cum in all directions. That triggered Tommy as he thrust up to meet Robbie enflamed hole, and gushed a huge load of cum deep inside Robbie's hungry, battered, hole. At the same time, Robbie shot a huge load all over them both and collapsed onto the cum slippery chest as they kissed lovingly and, as always, professed their love for each other.
They both struggled to get up off the floor and finally turned on the water, washed each other in the shower, and shampooed each other's hair. Lovingly, they dried each other off and went to dress to get to the airport. Both put on jeans, polos and Toms and were soon ready to leave for the airport for their get- away weekend. They had each packed a bag and were excited to leave the City.
Tommy walked into the kitchen to get some coffee and enveloped Robbie in his strong arms and kissed the back of his neck, making Robbie moan. Robbie turned around, looked into Tommy's beautiful green eyes, smiled and whispered, "I love you so much!" Tommy smiled back literally glowing.
"How was I so damn lucky, to meet you, the most handsome man in the universe, and most of all, have you in my heart?"
"I love you my darling, now and forever..." and with a tear running down his cheek. "I love you more than I can possibly put into words!" and the deep passionate kiss lasted for minutes.
Tommy exclaimed, "Wow, what a fabulous weekend we're gonna have." Robbie looked at Tommy and said "SSSSHHHHHHH, it will hear you.... and things will all turn to shit!" bringing both to laughter at the same time.
Robbiewas so excited that they were going to the Santa Barbara ranch that morning to check on things, to show Tommy the ranch and to see his friend "King."
"It has been a while since I was there and I miss King."
Jeff and Cal were ready and anxious to go. They were looking forward to getting away as well, and for them to have a little vacation too! Jeff and Cal had been with the company for a several years and were excellent pilots. They were both young, eager, loved to fly and did an excellent job.
When called earlier, both replied they would love to stay for the weekend and just relax for a couple of days. They were both in their early 30's and very good looking. Cal was about 5'10", 180lbs, with dark brown hair, a smooth chest with a bit of a treasure trail, connecting to a nice 7 1/2 x 5" uncut cock, brown eyes and sported a small, thin mustache. He was 33 yrs. old and the Captain. Jeff on the other hand, was 6'1", 210lbs., and had dark auburn hair, hazel eyes, was clean shaven, 31 and covered in dark auburn hair on his chest, hairy muscular legs and between his thighs, hung an impressive 8 x 6" cut cock. He was the co- pilot and engineer.
Both men were extremely attractive and filled out their uniforms nicely. The men were best friends, single and lived in the same housing complex next door to each other. They had worked for the Blackford Corp for four years and loved what they did. They agreed to have the plane ready for take-off by 9:30 on Sunday morning.
One of the company limo's, picked Robbie and Tommy up at 7:30 on Sunday morning and drove them to Butler Aviation at SFO, where the plane stood gleaming in the early morning sun.
The limo pulled up next to the plane and both pilots, came down the stairs to greet both men. Robbie introduced Tommy as his partner, and then said it would be fun for the four of them to relax and enjoy the ranch together for the weekend.
Both Cal and Jeff smiled and said they were looking forward to the weekend getaway. They had filed a flight plan that morning. They had only been to the ranch one time before and that was to deliver some small cargo to the gate, then turned around and flew home. They were impressed with the little they saw.
They walked up the stairs and Robbie took Tommy on a quick tour of the plane. Tommy said it was very much like his Dad's, but the color scheme was different. The Blackford plane was done in soft blues and dove grey, and the Gilman plane was done in beiges and dark tan. Both planes were quite attractive and comfortable.
Before they got underway, Jeff mentioned to Robbie that they needed to chat about something personal.
"Whenever, my ears are available anytime Jeff!" Robbie said laughingly. The take-off was great and they made it down to Santa Barbara in record time. They deplaned and a brown SUV from the ranch, with a Circle B on the doors, met them and the foreman, Hank, was driving. Hank was an older cowboy who had worked the ranch for about 40 years and loved his work, especially working for the Blackfords.
When meeting the guys, Hank said it was great to see Robbie again as it had been a while and he knew one horse was going to be glad to see his friend again. Robbie introduced Tommy as his life partner upon which Hank replied it was great to see a man who captured Robbie's heart and settled him down. We have all waited for this to happen and he was happy and thrilled for them both.
Hanks said things were going well at the ranch and everyone would be glad to see Robbie again and to meet Tommy. It was about an hour drive to get to the ranch and when they went through the large rod iron electric gates, and down the tree lined drive about a half mile to the main house, surrounded by white fencing. Tommy was impressed.
They pulled up to the very large, white plantation style house with a sweeping veranda and dark green shutters. There were assorted chairs and tables on the veranda broken by a huge carved oak door, and a large rod iron gas lantern hanging over the front door. "WOW!" said Tommy when he looked around. "Damn, this place is huge and soooo beautiful."
"Thanks," replied Robbie as they walked through the front door into a large foyer, painted in tones of beige, tan and dark brown. Hung over the center of the foyer was massive crystal chandelier that shone brightly off the inlaid marble floor and the sweeping staircase leading to the second floor.
To the left was the main living room with a marble fire place with dark mahogany furniture and a stunning oriental rug in the center of the room. Another large crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling.
On the other side of the massive foyer was what Tommy thought was the library in deep mahogany and dark green leather, it also looked impressive. Robbie said, "it does not look like the typical 'ranch house' but Mother wanted it to look more like an old plantation from the south."
"Well, she certainly accomplished that, without a problem, said Tommy!"
"Let's go up to my room and get settled and then we can have some lunch out by the pool, if that's ok lover?" asked Robbie. Then I will show you around and you can meet my first love!"
"What? First love and where does he work?? Is he a stable hand?"
"Jealous much, darling? laughed Robbie. Well, he does sort of work out of the stable. Let's get changed and you can meet him and then lunch. OK?" Jeff and Cal were brought to the house in a different car after they had secured the plane. They arrived at the house just as the boys were sitting down to lunch on the patio, and were shown to their room, since they had elected to share. They came back down for lunch and wished the boys a great ride. They would see them later for drinks, and soon disappeared into their room.
After lunch Robbie and Tommy, cleaned up a bit, pulled on some well-worn cowboy boots and went down stairs. In the kitchen, they ran into Miss Elly, the chief cook and the woman who 'ran the ranch'. No one every messed with Miss. Elly, ifen you done knowed what was good for you.. Miss Elly grabbed Robbie to her able bosom and gave him such a hug! Elly was a strong, older black lady who had been with the ranch for more years than anyone could remember, and had earned the respect of everyone!
"Loady chil let me look at chu. Don youz look jus fine... mighty fine...!" And then she turned to Tommy and said "Pray tell, whooz this strappin youngin?" with a raised eyebrow. "Scuz me, Miss Elly, this is my partner Tommy Gilman."
"Tommy, this is Miss Elly, the 'lady' who runs this here ranch and sort of like my Grandma. I love her to death - and I might add, one of the best cooks in the world!!"
"Nice to meet you Miss Elly," smiled Tommy.
"Miss Elly, we be going to the barn to introduce Tommy to a few of the folks and to King!" "We'll be back for some afternoon vitals (Southern for snacks) and a drink or two before dinner." informed Robbie.
Tommy said, "By the way, lunch was fantastic and I am looking forward to more of your fabulous cooking!"
So, they grabbed a couple of apples from the big bowl in the center of the kitchen table and headed out the back door, saying they would like to have Dinner on the patio. "Fine miser Robbie." Elly replied.
They strolled over to the barn and ran into two cowboys just walking out of the barn. "Hey Robbie, heard you was down for the weekend," said the first cowboy named Bill. "Yep, just got here a little while ago. Bill, this is my partner Tommy and Tommy, this is Bill, one of the ranch hands. The other one is Josh. They have been with the ranch, what about 5-6 years now?" Both men nodded and said "yep. Nice to meet you Tommy." Bill said adding, "You done good Robbie, He's sure cute!"
With a raised eyebrow, Tommy said, "WHAT?" Robbie laughed and explained that most of the hands here are gay and Bill and Josh were partners as well. They live in a house on the ranch grounds out aways from the main ranch. See you later guys."
"Come on Tommy I want to introduce you to someone very special to me!" as they walked into the barn and Robbie stopped and whistled.
A beautiful horse stuck his head out of the stall and whinnied. Robbie rushed over to one of the most beautiful horses, Tommy had ever seen. 'King' was written on a brass name plate over the stall door. A beautiful Palomino, with a gorgeous mane of white, King nudged Robbie with his nose and whinnied again. Robbie rubbed his nose and gave him one of the apples from his pocket. If horses could smile, this one sure was!
Robbie led King out of the stall so Tommy could see all of him. What a magnificent animal he was. He stood about 15 hands high, had white socks on his feet, a beautiful white mane and tail that glittered in the sun filtering in from the dormer windows in the ceiling. King seemed so happy to have his human back paying attention to him. Robbie asked the horse if he wanted to go for a ride? King seemed to get excited about that and stomped one his hooves on the stable floor, giving Robbie another nudge and whinnied again..
Robbie said to one of the stable hands to get a horse ready for Tommy, then it dawned on Robbie, "You do ride don't you? And I mean a horse!! As they say in Texas, 'Save a horse, ride a cowboy! All were laughing at that point. Robbie showed Tommy the rest of the horse barn and Tommy was amazed at the beautiful horse flesh. Tommy nodded and said yes he rode, but it had been a while. So, a horse was going to be saddled for Tommy named 'Spirit', who was black with a white star on his forehead and white socks on his front feet. Tommy gave him an apple and stroked his head and neck. The stable hand would saddle him while they wandered back to the house for a cool drink on the patio, a tall cool minted, iced sweet tea. Miss Ellie came out and said she was serving a dish called King Ranch Chicken casserole.. for supper and it would be served at 7 PM. YUMMM exclaimed Tommy.
When their iced tea was finished, they walked back toward the stable and Robbie got up on King while Tommy mounted Spirit. "if you are ready cowboy, let's git!" Both men took off at a good trot, until they reached the pasture and took off at a full gallop, Tommy chasing Robbie and laughing as they flew across the field. Both men were having a grand time with the horses. They stopped by a stand of big oak trees, a couple of miles from the stables, where a small stream meandered nearby. They led the horses over to drink while they sat on the ground in the shade and relaxed holding hands. Tommy looked over at his lover, smiled and said, "I love you, my darling more than words can say."
Robbie replied with, "I love you as well, in fact so much I can't believe how happy you make me and he rose up on one knee, looked at Tommy as he pulled a box out of his pocket, opened it and said to Tommy, "Would you please do me the honor of marrying me and becoming my husband?" Tommy sat there for a moment stunned, then jumped up and grabbed Robbie, swung him around and said. "YES, OH YES, a million times yes!!"
They kissed passionately as Robbie took the beautiful ring of 18K gold with a row of 6 quad diamonds, about one karat each, channel set and slid it on Tommy's finger. "You have made me the happiest man in the Universe."
Tommy then said, "this is really funny, as he pulled a box out of his pocket and showed he had the same idea. He was going to do it later, but you got to be first. Tommy opened the box to reveal an 18 K gold ring with a center diamond of 4 Karats and 2 one karat diamonds on each side, also channel set. Both rings were stunning and then Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Robbie, saying that he was love of his life and asked would he become his husband as well?" He then slipped the ring on Robbie's finger as Robbie had done to him.
Robbie smiled, laughed, but said he would have to ponder it for a while. "OK, time's up," then said "YES, YES, AND A THOUSAND AND THOUSANDS TIMES YES!!"
"We will have to come up with something to celebrate tonight." Robbie said, "It would be fun, now introducing him as his 'Fianc? instead of partner."
"Well, we better get back and call the folks, as they will probably want to plan a wedding!" Robbie remarked that he had been thinking of just that this morning, wondering how to propose. "I would really like a very small wedding, just family and maybe our best friends at City Hall, followed by a brunch and then a cruise for our honeymoon. Maybe to Mexico on one of the Gay Cruise lines? how does that sound?"
"But you know our parents will want to throw a huge party for us, so we can do that when we return from the cruise," nodded Tommy. "Great idea, let's do it!!" they said in unison.
When the men arrived back at the stables with the horses, they dismounted and the grooms took over, they gave each of the horses a big pet and Robbie hugged King and said they would see him later. King whinnied and again you would swear the horse was smiling. He really loved his human!
Both men walked to the house and went up to shower and get ready for cocktails. (After they showered together, of course) They dressed and went downstairs to the Library and sat down with a chilled glass of Chablis and called the parents. When they announced that they were now engaged, there were immediate congrats all around as each set of parents asked to speak to the other 'son'. The men told their parents of their wishes and surprisingly the mothers agreed immediately. The men were very happy, grinning ear to ear. After they hung up, they just stared into each other's eyes, kissed deeply, and said in unison: "I LOVE YOU!!"
Just then, the houseman, Gerrard, came in to announce that cocktails were ready on the patio. Tommy and Robbie strolled out to the patio holding hands and smiling... looking forward to the evening and a romantic dinner.
When they arrived at the patio with wine in hand, they found a beautiful table set for four and Cal and Jeff standing over at the patio edge looking at the view, while sipping on a beer. "Hey guys," said Robbie. "You should have come with us for a ride. It was great and full of surprises... We have some news to share." as they both held out their hands and showed off their rings. Looking with amazement, Cal and Jeff said, "Does this mean that you're engaged?" "YEP, that it does. Tommy asked me first, not knowing I was actually going to ask him, but he beat me to it." Both men moved over and heartily shook their hands and gave them congratulations. "Well guys, I am starved, so let's sit and devour this gorgeous dinner Miss Elly has prepared. You will love her cooking, TRUST ME!"
Miss Elly emerged from the kitchen door carrying a large casserole of King Ranch Chicken, (Look up the recipe, it a killer!) and a bowl of Mexican rice with home- made Frioles and Tortillas on the side, and a big tossed salad. It all smelled fabulous. The men filled their plates and dug in. Then Miss Elly brought out a huge pitcher of sweet tea and 4 large glasses filled with ice holding sprigs of fresh mint and lemon. There was not much talking other than, "Wow this dinner is amazing!!"
Miss Elly then asked if everything was alright? Robbie got up and hugged her, gave her a kiss on the cheek and said, "Miss Elly, when have you EVER doubted your food. It is prepared with loving hands. And from your heart, you produce food, cooked to perfection, that is fit for the Gods on Mt. Olympus!!, It is fabulous as always." Miss Elly smiled and said, "Now get to eaten or yawl wont git none of my Banana pudden!!!" and walked off to the kitchen, smiling all the way into the house.
The four men finished dinner very full and very satisfied. They sat and chatted about their afternoon, talked about the upcoming wedding and what their plans were for it. Robbie and Tommy explained what they had decided on a small wedding with family and a very few close friends at San Francisco City Hall. Then they would have a brunch and take off on a cruise to Mexico. When they return there was to be a huge reception for all friends and family. Both parents were adamant about that and you never... well almost never say NO to parents! All the men laughed about that statement.
Here ends Chapter 10 with some excitement, the guys are engaged and have plans in place, just when? One of my own Aunts had a cook just like Miss Elly and she spoke just like Miss Elly in my story, She was a true treasure. I was the youngest nephew and always got special attention!! (Lucky ME!!) More twists and turns to come...so stay tuned, Remember, stay true to yourself and please play safe and as always, donate to nifty!
