Running Into Love: Chapter 5 ----------------------------

It was probably only a few seconds, but the silence that fell over the room seemed to last forever. Jon's mom was standing in the doorway to his room while Jon and I were naked in his bed, and he had just came all over my face. We all just stared at each other for a while. After what felt like hours, Jon's mom spoke.

"Well, I guess I don't need to ask what's going on, do I?" she said.

I suddenly snapped back to reality, realizing finally exactly what had just happened. I jumped up out of the bed. "I...uhhh...gotta go now Jon. I'll see you at school," I said as I jumped out of the bed and began to throw my clothes on as quick as I could.

"Ummm...yeah," said Jon, "See you at school Trevor." Jon began to blush uncontollably as he too hurried to throw some clothes on.

I ran towards the door but Jon's mother made no move to get out of the way. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked.

"I was just...ummm...leaving. See ya," I said feebly.

"I think not," said Jon's mom. "I have to talk to the two of you. Why don't you finish...freshening up...and then come downstairs and talk."

Jon mumbled "Fine."

After she left, the two of us continued to hurredly throw clothing on. We were quiet for a while. And then Jon spoke.

"Hey Trev, I'm so sorry about this."

"Don't worry about it," I said, "It's my fault. I should've just let you cum and not tried to drag it out like that."

"Well, it felt good that way," said Jon.

"Well...thanks," I said, my heart still pounding in my chest, "But I'm really scared now."

"I think my mom will be okay after a while," said Jon. "Of course, walking in on us having sex probably wasn't the best way to introduce the idea."

"Probably not."

"But seriously Trev," said Jon, "She's okay with me being gay, she had to figure I'd get a boyfriend sooner or later. As long as she knows that I love you with all my heart, I think she'll accept it."

Jon had the ability to take a serious and scary situation like this and still make my heart melt. "Awww...thanks Jon. I love you too...with all of my heart babe."

We kissed quickly before walking hesitantly downstairs. Jon's mother was sitting on a chair in the living room. "Sit down," she said.

We sat. We were both very quiet, we didn't know what to say.

"I'm not really sure what to say," said Jon's mom. "Obviously, this is a shock to me even though I knew you were gay, Jon. I'm guessing Trevor knows this as well."

"Ummm...yeah," I said quietly, looking at the floor.

"Okay, I'm not going to get mad, I knew this would happen, but I didn't think it would happen yet. Are you two in love?" she asked.

"Yes we are," said Jon, grasping my hand firmly. I smiled. "Yes," I smiled at him and then voiced my agreement with him.

"That's good," she said. "You have to be serious though. You do realize that not everyone will be accepting, right? Some people will be very opposed to the idea of the two of you being in love."

"We know," said Jon.

"And we don't care," I added. "If the can't accept us, that's their problem." Jon and I smiled broadly at each other. Sometimes he made everything sound so simple, I loved that about him.

"Well, it's good to know you feel that way and this isn't just some meaningless fling," said Jon's mom.

"No way," said Jon, "This is forever."

"Well, I certainly hope so. You two seem to get along great. I think you make a great couple," she said, smiling a bit which eased some of the tension.

We smiled. "Thanks," I said, blushing.

"Yeah," said Jon, "Thanks mom."

"No problem," she said with a smile, "I just wanted to make sure you really cared for each other and you weren't just desperate for sex."

Jon began to blush. I guess no one is really comfortable hearing their mother talk about sex. "Yeah we do," Jon said while blushing.

Then she turned to me. "So Trevor, do your parents know that you're gay?"

"Ummm...no," I said nervously, "You're not gonna tell them are you?"

"Not if you don't want me to, but you really should tell them," she said, "But I know it's not easy."

"Got that right," I said, "It would probably make things a little easier though."

"Yeah it probably would," she said. "Well, I just wanted to make sure that you guys understood everything and that you really cared about each other. I see that you do, so have fun. But try to keep it PG around other people," she said with a smile.

We started to blush again. "We will," said Jon.

"Okay," she said. "That was all I wanted." She pause for a second. "Well, I was just gonna order a pizza. Trevor you're welcome to stay if you want."

"I'd love to."

"Alright then. It'll probably be here in, like, 45 minutes."

"Okay, thanks mom," said Jon.

"Alright. I'll leave you two alone now," she said.

"Bye mom," said Jon, "And thanks again."

"Yeah," I said, "Thanks."

"No problem guys." And with that she walked out of the room and left Jon and I alone.

"So," said Jon, "Wanna go back up to my room?"

"Sure." We headed up the stairs to his room, I took the opportunity to get another good look at Jon's perfect ass...as if I hadn't seen enough of it.

We sat down on Jon's bed. Jon spoke. "She really kinda killed the mood there didn't she?"

"Yeah," I said, "But it's okay...it could've been worse."

"Yeah you're right," Jon said.

"Plus," I added with a smile, "You still got payed back."

"Yeah, that's a definite plus," Jon said with a laugh. We giggled for a little while.

After a brief silence, I spoke again. "So Jon, did you really mean what you said down there...about this being forever?"

"Of course I did Trevor," Jon said, "I love you more than anything and I don't care who knows about it or what they think about it."

"Thank you so much Jon," I said, a little teary-eyed, "I feel the same way baby." We hugged each other for awhile. I loved the feeling of Jon's soft body in my arms while his arms were around me. It made me feel like we were one person, one mind, one heartbeat. "I love you Jon."

"I love you too Trev."

We kissed then, our tongues melting together again. I couldn't get enough of Jon. Holding him made me feel like the luckiest person alive. And kissing him was beyond belief. I never really got accustomed to the feeling, and I'm glad. It always felt new and exciting. I never wanted our moments to end, and when they did, I spent my time away from Jon thinking about him.

After what felt like about a minute, Jon's mother called from downstairs that the pizza was here.

"We'll be right down," yelled Jon. "Wow," he said, "Was that 45 minutes?"

"I guess so," I said, "Time flies when you're having fun babe."

"We need more time then," said Jon, smiling. I returned the smile.

We went downstairs and gourged on pizza for a while. It's amazing how quickly two guys can go through a box a pizza. Anyway, after we pigged out on the pizza, we headed back upstairs for a while. We played some computer games for a while and then we started talking.

"I really should tell my parents that I'm gay," I said after some thought.

"It would be nice," said Jon, "But it's not easy. I don't wanna make you do it."

"I want to," I said, "But it's just...hard to do."

"Tell me about it. It took me a while get the guts to tell my mom."

"You were lucky," I said with a laugh, "You just had one person to tell. I have three of them."

"Oh well," said Jon, "When you're ready, you should do it. I'll help of you want."

"Thanks," I said. "So, how did you get the nerve to tell your mom."

Jon thought for a minute. "I'm not sure. I guess I just got sick of pretending and after a while I just decided to walk right up to her and tell her without really thinking about it. It's probably a good thing I did it like that. If I thought about it too much, I probably wouldn't have done it," he said with a smile. Damn, that smile just made me melt.

"I know what you mean. I could probably do it if I would stop thinking about it."

"Well," said Jon, "Just wait until you're ready. You'll be able to do it eventually."

"I hope so. But it's not looking like it'll happen anytime soon," I said.

"Don't worry. I thought that for a while too. One day it'll just happen," said Jon.

"I guess. Thanks Jon."

"No problem Trev."

We went back to the computer game we had been playing. I continued to think about everything that Jon had just said. Earlier he said that he didn't care who knew we were in love. Maybe he was right about that. I knew I loved Jon more than life itself, what was wrong with other people knowing? Maybe I would get the guts to tell my parents eventually. I hoped I would. Maybe I should just do it, like Jon mentioned he did. Maybe it would be easier that way. I continued to think about this for a while, then a thought came across my mind. Then a decision.

"Jon?"

"Yeah babe?"

"I wanna tell my parents that I'm gay...tonight."

Jon paused for a minute. He looked very suprised. "When did you come up with this?"

"Just now," I said with a smile. "I decided that you're right. I don't care who knows we're in love."

"Well," Jon said, "I'm glad you feel that way Trev. But are you sure you want to do this? I don't wanna rush you into anything."

"I'm sure," I said, "You're mom already knew about you, but what if it was my mom that walked in on us? I'd rather tell her than have her find out like that."

"I guess so," said Jon, "But only if you're sure."

"I'm totally sure. And don't try to talk me out of it," I said with a small laugh, "It just might work."

Jon smiled at me "Okay, I won't. But you have to let me come with you."

"Only if you're sure," I said, "Oh geez, now I sound like you." We giggled for a minute.

"I'm sure babe," said Jon.

"Ok then," I said, "Let's go now before I have any second thoughts."

"Alright. I'll get my mom to drive us over to your place."

We ran downstairs and into the kitchen where Jon's mom was sitting at the table. "Hey mom," said Jon, "You gotta take us over to Trevor's house. Trevor's gonna tell his parents about us." He sounded so excited...did I do that to him? Whoa.

Jon's mom looked suprised. "Oh okay. Good for you Trevor," she said with a smile. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Jon and I looked at each other and laughed...we'd heard that question before. "Yes I'm sure," I said, "But we have to go now before I decide that I'm not sure."

"Okay," she said, "I'll go get the keys."

Jon and I ran out to the car. We were both really excited. At this point, the excitement had me convinced that everything would be okay and my parents would be fine.

Jon's mom started the car and we went on our way to my house. It was only about a 5 minute drive but it felt longer. The excitement was subsiding and giving way to nervousness now. What if they didn't accept it? What if they hated me? What if they threw me out? What if they didn't love me anymore? I began to think that I wouldn't go through with it after all.

We pulled into my driveway and Jon's mother looked back at me. "One more time Trevor, are you sure you want to do this? You know you don't have to if you aren't ready yet."

I was unsure for a little bit. Then I took one look at Jon's face. Jon's beautiful face. I realized again how much I loved him. No matter what happened, we would be together. He made all the uncertainty dissappear. I smiled. "Yes I'm sure."

"Okay," she said, "But I just want you to know that if by some chance, things don't work out, we're here for you. I hope that things will be fine, and they probably will be, but we will be here for you Trevor."

I smiled at her. "Thank you so much."

She smiled back. "No problem Trevor. Good luck guys."

Jon and I hopped out of the car and began to walk toward my front door. I was getting nervous again. But I didn't care this time. Nothing was going to stop me from declaring my love for Jon. I would happily give up everything for Jon. My Jon.

On the way I spoke to Jon. "Your mom's great you know."

"Yeah," said Jon, "I'm glad she was okay with everything."

"Me too," I said. I looked at Jon again. "You're sure that you don't mind my parents know about you too?"

"Of course not," Jon said, "I love you Trev. Like I said, I don't care who knows. If there going to know you're gay they might as well know about me too."

I smiled. "Thank you Jon. Thanks for coming, it's a big help. I love you too, more than anything." I kissed him quickly on the cheek as we were walking up to the front door of my house.

"Thanks babe," said Jon. "I know you don't want me to ask this, but I want to be sure. Are you sure about this?"

"Yes I'm sure dammit!" I said with a laugh. The laughter eased the nervousness a little bit. We reached the door and it all came back to me.

I opened the door. I heard my mother yell "Hi Jason" from the living room.

"Hi mom," I yelled my voice cracking a bit.

"How are you," she said as Jon and I walked into the room. "Oh hi Jon," she said."

"Hello," said Jon.

"What have you two guys been up to?" asked my father who was also in the room.

"Oh...not much," I said. I was going to tell them I was gay, not that we were having sex. That's not the kind of thing you tell your parents. At least my brother Nick wasn't around right now. He must've been at a friends house or something. I wanted to just tell my parents and I didn't really feel like telling Nick too. He couldn't keep his mouth shut about anything.

"You look nervous or something," my mom said, "Are you okay Trevor?"

"Ummm...yeah," I said. I paused. My heart was pounding in my chest. I was suprised that my parents couldn't see it pounding up and down inside of me. "Ummm...look, I gotta tell you guys something."

My parents gave me a concerned look. "Alright, we're listening Trevor," said my mother.

My mouth had gone dry by now. My palms were sweating, hell I was sweating all over. My vision began to blur and I felt slightly faint, like I might pass out if I kept dragging this out. I began to wonder what made me want to do this in the fist place. I was just about to tell them never mind and just call the whole thing off when I looked over at Jon. He had the sweetest smile on his face. He seemed to be saying "Come on Trev, you can do it." Then I realized again why I was doing this: my love for Jon. Again the nervousness subsided a bit. The pause had probably only been a few seconds but it felt like eternity. I took a deep breath.

"Mom, Dad, I haven't told you everything about Jon and I." I paused before taking another deep breath to keep my courage up. There was no stopping now. I tried to remember what Jon said, don't think about it, just do it, no second thoughts, no looking back.

"I'm gay," I grabbed a hold of Jon's hand, "And Jon and I are in love."

----------------------------------------------------------------------- The end. I know what you're thinking..."Dammit Jason, another cliffhanger!"
