Hey everyone! I'm so glad I have so many faithful readers, you all ROCK! You've really been amazing. I hope you all stay well! (Or get better, sunburn sucks man!)
Well, I'm posting TWO chapters today, so you all better email me twice as much!
CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
"So, what do we do?" asked Brianna quietly.
"We go and freaking find him! I'm going to KILL Scott damn it!"Exclaimed Trina, her eyes blazing with a new found anger. Jen had called them all together, and they were all sitting in Jen's room. Lindsay, the newest member of the group, spoke up.
"We have to find him," she spoke quietly, "He's the only family I have left that truly cares about me."
"We will sweetie, don't worry." Jen said soothingly.
Scott burst into the room, his eyes blazing with anger, and his cheeks showing the trail of tears that came from his bloodshot eyes.
"He's gone..." he cried "He's with *Christian *now." He said angrily.
"WHAT." Yelled Lindsay. "No way."
Scott just shook his head
"How COULD he?!" she sobbed.
"There must be some mistake." Said Jen soothingly. "Alex would never do that to you Linds, don't believe it for a second."
"Yes he did." Scott said glumly. "I found them in bed together this morning at Christians house. Alex went to that pre-homecoming bash Christian was throwing."
"A week till homecoming..." Trina mused.
"So what." Scott said despondently, he had no reason to look forward to it anymore.
"I think we can get you guys back together by then." Trina smiled.
"O.k. girls, it's time for an intervention!" Brianna yelled, as Trina and Jen nodded appreciatively.
"I'm not helping. I can't BELIEVE him." Lindsay cried. "So Scott blew up, that doesn't give him a right to ignore Scott's pleas for forgiveness and stab me in the back and date that...monster!"
"He's not dating him." Scott said quietly. "I think they just feel asleep when they got drunk, and woke up in the same bed. It looked awkward to me, and Alex emphatically said, 'I'm not dating you' to Christian. "
"Then I'm in," Lindsay said "It's time we show Alex the meaning of forgiveness. Scott loves him."
Scott sniffed.
"And he still loves you Scott." Jen added softly. "He's just upset. He thinks this is how he's supposed to act."
"We'll prove 'em wrong, don't worry. You'll have your bitch back soon." Trina said.
Scott just shuffled out of the room, his eyes downcast; the usual emerald green was losing its spark.
"Let's get started." Lindsay said. Soon they were all gathered together, planning out how to go about rescuing Scott and Alex's relationship.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN:
"Christian thanks for letting me stay here."
"No problem baby."
"Look, I'm sorry, but I'm just not ready to take that step yet, I just got out of that relationship with Scott. Please don't pressure me."
"Fine, sorry." He pouted.
"Christian..." I began.
"I'm gonna go get some breakfast. You coming?" he asked abruptly, heading out of the room.
I sighed, and followed, pulling on my clothes.
"Ok, we need to talk." I said firmly, leaving no room for discussion.
"Ok, talk." He said, pouring a bowl of cheerios.
I looked around. His kitchen was nice; it was done in a very elaborate style, with nice cabinets and artificial columns painted in an off white with a crackle glaze. The black granite countertops offset this nicely, along with the stainless steel appliances. We sat at the breakfast bar, eating cereal and drinking milk as we talked.
"Frankly," I said, "I can't really see myself dating you after the fiasco between you and Lindsay."
"But!-"
"Look, I believe that you didn't mean to do it okay?" I interrupted, "But I still can't see Lindsay being okay with this."
"I thought you hated your sister. Why do you suddenly care what she thinks?"
"Well, the whole...thing...between you and her actually brought us together, because she went to me for help. I'm really sorry Christian, but the two of you are going to have to at least make amends before I can consider seeing you."
His eyes were downcast as he nodded slowly.
"I plan on it," he said quietly, "I can't believe what I did, and she has to know that it wasn't on purpose."
"I'm sorry," I said softly, "but I can't do this to my sister, unless she approves"
I was relieved, my idea worked. At least he believed me about the whole sister thing. While it's true, the real reason...I can't believe I'm admitting this...Is because I-I don't want to hurt Scott. I still love him, which leaves me in a bit of a predicament. I would never even CONSIDER dating Christian really, but I needed a place to stay. And if I told him to "Fuck off" he'd probably kick me out. This is horrible I know, but what can I do? Scott already kicked me out, it's not like I can go crawling back to him after this morning.
"Are we sure we want to do this?" Jen asked. "It seems pretty risky to me..."
"I think it's brilliant!" exclaimed Trina smugly.
"It's so romantic!" Brianna sighed, her eyes glowing.
"But, we don't even know how Alex will react. He might dump Scott again in front of the entire school."
"Alex loves Scott. He's just upset. This is the perfect way to get him to give Scott another chance. I swear, if they get back together and Alex says something that stupid again, or Scott blows something that out of proportion again, I'll kill them." Lindsay laughed.
"Ditto!" said Brianna.
"Ditto? You are SUCH an airhead." Joked Trina.
"Shut it bitch." Replied Brianna.
They all laughed, concealing the stress and anxiety they all had. This had better work.
Christian smiled smugly. We were watching a movie, and he put his arm around me. Surprisingly, I didn't push it off.
"Finally." He whispered.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing Al."
I remained silent, and tuned to face the T.V. screen. I wasn't sure how I felt about him calling me that. I guess I'll just put up with it, like the arm on my back
"Finally" Christian thought to himself "I can't believe he took that shit about me wanting to apologize to Lindsay. That bitch deserved what she got." He smiled smugly, and went back to watching the movie. He was on top of the world!
But his luck would soon run out...
