Secret Office Romance (part 10)
With some large companies adopting a liberal policy toward gender expression, this fictional account is quite possible. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I wish it really happened to me!

On Sunday morning we awoke and kissed. "I love you so much dear," I said, kissing her.
We kissed and cuddled for a time and I asked if she was feeling any pain. Jessica said she was feeling a little pain, so I got up and brought her some pain killer pills. She took a pill and thanked me.
Jessica wanted to freshen up, but was not supposed to get the surgical site wet, so I prepared a sponge bath for her. Between the two of us, we cleaned Jessica up to her satisfaction. Jessica got up and got dressed and we made breakfast together.
"You told me that you were afraid to approach me initially," I said.
"Yes," she replied, "but I'm so glad I did."
"What happened to make you afraid to approach me?" I asked.
"After I transitioned I had a number of failed attempts with men," she said, "and began to think I had made a terrible mistake."
"I'm sure this must be difficult for you to talk about," I said, "but please tell me more."
"I dated three guys who seemed really nice, one after the other," Jessica explained, "things went well, so on the third date I told each that I was transgendered."
"I knew that admitting that could be messy," she continued, "so I did it in a restaurant, where they couldn't beat me up."
"One of the guys said he needed to think about it, and I never saw him again. The other two accused me lying to them and luring them into a perverted relationship. They left me crying in the restaurant."
"Is that when you decided to approach me?" I asked.
"No, not yet," she explained, "I decided that I needed to let guys know that I was transgendered right from the start. I posted on Craigslist and got lots of responses."
"Many of the responses sounded pretty creepy, but a few seemed ok. I met with five of them, and all but one of them wanted a blowjob or to fuck me in less than an hour. The other one seemed more patient, but on the second date he said he really needed my help getting relief. I wasn't ready to suck him, but did give him a hand job. When he came he revealed his real self."
"What happened then?" I asked.
"He asked me to leave!" Jessica shot back, "as soon as he got what he wanted he just threw me out! I began to feel like damaged goods, and gave up on men for a time."
"I had no idea it was that difficult," I said, "so what changed your mind?"
"I had nothing to do with men after that. But after seeing you at work and remembering how much I was attracted to you, I began to reconsider. I knew that you were a really kind man, so my only fear was that you might not accept me. After I decided to approach you, it still took several weeks to muster the courage to actually do it."
"You did seem very nervous when you did," I said, "that made you seem very mysterious to me."
"When you did not warm up to me," Jessica went on, "I despaired, but when you called me back I felt like I was walking on air!"
"And the rest is history," I replied.
"It's a history we are both cherishing," she said, as she reached to me and kissed me.
"I'm so sorry that life has been so difficult for you," I responded, "it is all so unfair, and I'm glad I can help make some of it right for you."
"You are a wonderful blessing in my life, Bill," she said, "it seems like a dream that I don't want to wake from."
I kissed her and said, "Wake up, sleeping beauty, and be me lady."
"Bill, I need you to be really candid with me," she said, "you have hinted around about marrying me – I need to know if you are really serious about it."
"My interest is sincere," I responded, "but let me be completely clear."
I got on my knee and asked, "Lady Jessica, will you be my wife?"
Jessica burst into tears and wrapped her arms around me and replied, "Yes, oh absolutely yes!!"
We went to the couch and cuddled tenderly. Jessica was so happy. I told her that I had not planned to ask her today, but was glad that I did. I didn't have a ring yet but we would get one for her when she was able to accompany me.
We had a restful day, talking about our future together.
The next day was Monday, and we had both taken a vacation day to give Jessica more time to recover. Jessica had me remove the dressing and inspect the surgical site. It was very red, but that was because there was increased blood flow to promote healing. There was no evidence of drainage, so the dressing could be replaced with a gauze pad with antibiotic ointment.
I was very uneasy about attending to this, but my love for Jessica gave me the resolve to continue. I was glad I was an engineer and not a doctor – I didn't have the stomach for this, but I forced myself to continue.
Jessica got dressed and said she felt that she was recovered enough to go out. I was skeptical of this, but agreed, as long as she didn't walk more than needed.
After breakfast we drove to a local jeweler. I stopped in front of the door to let Jessica out and then parked the car. Returning to the store we went in. We looked at wedding and engagement rings. Jessica was starry-eyed the entire time, and I was thrilled that my lady was so happy.
We looked at dozens of rings and then selected one that seemed just right for Jessica. I paid for it and the jeweler said he would have it sized and ready that afternoon. We agreed upon a time to return for the ring.
We went to a show at the local planetarium and then to lunch. Afterward we returned to my place and I enjoyed Jessica's mile-wide smile the rest of the day. That afternoon we returned to the jeweler for the ring. It looked beautiful on her finger and her smile mirrored that beauty.
We went to a nice restaurant to celebrate our engagement. We talked about potential dates, but decided that we would have to wait until the legal gender change.
"You realize that we might not be successful in our petition to change your gender?" I asked.
"It seems like it will work," she replied, "but I know it is possible that it won't."
"I have asked you to marry me," I continued, "and I intend to make good on it. If the gender change doesn't happen I want to marry you anyway."
"You mean as a same-sex marriage?" she asked, "I don't want it that way."
"Ok," I said, "then would you move in with me until we can be legally married as man and woman?"
"I suppose," she agreed, touching her ring, "maybe this was premature."
"I have honestly shared my feeling for you, and want you with me the rest of my life," I replied.
I kissed Jessica and said, "Let's just stay true to each other and things will work out one way or another."
That night when we went to bed Jessica fondled me to erection and took me in her mouth.
"You don't have to do that," I said.
"Yes I do," Jessica replied, "just because I can't have sex doesn't mean I can't take care of the man of my dreams – would you deny me that?"
"Go right ahead," I said, and relaxed and enjoyed her attention.
Afterward I kissed her and we drifted off to sleep.
