Smallville Kansas -- Later that Evening at The Luthor Oversized Estate
Lex's POV
It looks like everything is going according to my plans. I have the guys of «N Sync here to perform for all the high school graduates and pretty soon, I'll have Clark Kent here. Clark Clark Clark, I tell you, he's the man that I've yet to get into my bed. I'm surprised that nothing happened between us yet. It's just a matter of time before he figures out that I always get what I want and right now, I want him. I know he knows I want him; hell I've done everything but sexually attack him. With all the money I've spent tonight getting these guys here for him, I'm going to make my move and finally get to what he's hiding behind that farm boy look of his. I already know he's sporting one mean rod between his legs, I want to know what it's like to be in what he's sitting on. When I'm done with him, he'll have a reason to wear those tight blue jeans.
It's almost time for the dinner party and Clark and that brat Whitney aren't here yet. I wonder what could be keeping both of them. The staff is getting everything ready for the start of dinner and all I have to look at is a pale-faced blonde, a freaky Italian with red streaks in his hair, a brunette with bad fashion sense and a little guy that looks like an elf. I need some real eye candy or I'm going to lose it tonight.
It's now nine and Clark and Whitney are not here. I guess my suspicions were right, Whitney is gay too and he and Clark are off someplace having a good time. I should have convinced him to come back with me instead of letting him get back into that truck with Whitney. Now I might have lost my chance to conquer the one thing I wanted most. I've had a hard-on for Clark Kent since we met that faithful day when he saved my life. From that point on, we became best friends, almost brothers and here it is I want him and I let him get away, to Whitney no less. I'm glad this is my final night here, I can go to Metropolis and have all of my fantasies satisfied there in the big city.
"Son are you alright?" Dad asks, stopping in front of me and taking my hand.
"I'm fine," I say, snatching my hand from him, drawing attention to the two of us. "I'd be even better if you'd go back to your room and not disturb us. I've already heard about your little stunt with Mr. Fatone and Mr. Kirkpatrick. I suggest you know do that again. I don't want these men upset."
"You use my money to bring them here and you tell me not to upset them? I think you have me mistaken with someone else son. When my money pays for something, I do what I damn well please," he tells me as he turns around and walks over to the table and sits in his usual spot.
Oh this is going to be fucking great. I don't need dad in here causing unneeded stress for these gentlemen. From what Art and Sybil says, they had a hard day and are tired out. The only reason they are even attending this dinner is because they were under strict orders from their management to do everything that was required of them. When you have money, you can do many many things.
"Good evening gentlemen," I say, walking over to the table now and sitting down as Art walks in followed by Clark and a few of his friends from school, mainly that geek Pete. I wonder where Whitney is so I can have him thrown back out.
"Hi Lex," Clark says, smiling at me.
Just the sound of his voice sends sparks to my groin. If I'm not careful tonight, I might cum me shorts just by him talking to me for too long.
"Clark, Pete, this is «N Sync," I say, waving my hand towards the table like a host would. "Mr. Fatone, Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. Bass and Mr. Chasez."
"Hi guys," Clark says, smiling brightly at the four young men. "Somebody's missing. It's Justin...Justin Timberlake. Is he here?"
"He's around here someplace," Chris answers, looking down at the table as I thought I noticed something in his eyes.
"He'll probably be joining us in a few minutes," I say as Clark smiled at me again and he and Pete took their seats at the table, still no Whitney.
The Fordham Farm
Whitney's POV
I'm such a fucking idiot! Why the hell did I have to ask him that stupid question anyway? I knew the reason for him kissing me, I shouldn't have asked him. If I'd known that it would have upset him the way it did, I would have kept my fucking mouth closed. Now because of my stupidity, he's gone. What the hell am I going to do now? I've gone and fucked things up before they even got to starting. I'm a fucking loser. That's me, Whitney Fucking Loser!
"Oh Damn, it's way after nine, I should have been at Lex's place a long time ago. I bet Clark is there with him and they are already going at it. Lex is probably flirting up a storm and Clark is giving in to him. Damnit!"
I'll just go shower, get dressed and head on out to Lex's place. Hopefully when I get there, I'll be able to explain things to Clark, that is, if it isn't too late.
Back at the Luthor Estate
Clark's POV
This is a bit of a change for me, but I'm doing my best to adapt to things. I feel a little bit out of place here since this is the first formal dinner party I've ever been to. I've had dinner here plenty of times with Lex, but I've never had the luxury of attending one of his black-tie dinners. For this being my first one and all, it's rather boring here. I thought this place would have been more jumping and stuff, but I guess I was wrong. I just hope the concert is better than this and makes up for it.
"Clark is there something wrong?" Lex asks, stepping up behind me and patting me on the back. "You look out of sorts."
"Everything's fine Lex," I tell him, trying to hide my feelings about the matter.
"Are you sure Clark?" He asks, squeezing my shoulder gently. "If something's wrong, I want you to tell me so I can fix it."
"I'm sure Lex," I tell him, stepping away from him as my earlier thoughts about giving in to him flooded my mind. "Lex this dinner party is boring."
"I know it is, but that's just it Clark, it's a dinner party," he says, stepping up behind me this time, his hand going back up to my shoulder again. "Dinner parties are always boring before the meal is served."
"I guess so," I say, laughing softly as the door to the room opened and Art and Whitney were standing there.
Oh God, he's here and he looks so damn sexy in that outfit. The last time he wore that combination, I had to excuse myself so I could go relieve some sexual tension. Why is he torturing me like this? He knows how I feel about him. Why is it that I didn't know he was straight? All the time we spent together, I thought for sure that he was gay, but after I kissed him earlier and he asked me why, I got my answer then and there. I just wish I could've at least been able to do more with him, but I'll never experience that with him. I can't take this, I'm going home.
"I have to go," I say, turning away from Lex and heading toward the door.
"Clark? Clark where are you going?" I hear Lex asks as I bump into someone.
Getting up off the floor, I noticed that I had bumped into Justin Timberlake. From the look of the frown on his face, I must have hit him harder than I thought. Extending my hand to help him up, he got up on his own, glared at me and walked away. Turning around to look in the direction that he was going, I saw Whitney staring at me and my heart started breaking a little faster. Why do I have all of these powers, but can't do what I want with them? I wish I had Whitney. I wish he was mine. Standing there at the door, my mind began to wander and before I knew it, I felt hands on me. Snapping out of my trance, I turned to see Whitney and Lex, both of them holding one of my hands and calling my name.
"Clark? Clark are you alright?" They both asked as I shook my head and looked at Whitney, seeing the concern in his eyes.
"I'm fine," I say, relishing the feel of Whtiney's hand holding mine.
"Are you sure Clark? You look like you've seen a ghost or something," Lex says, holding my hand tighter than he should.
"I'll be fine once both of you give me my hands back," I say as the both of them let my hands fall. "Thank you."
As I turned around to leave, I saw the hurt look in Whitney's eyes. I know I shouldn't have said that, but I didn't want them holding my hands. They way Lex is looking, I can care less, but Whitney looks like a hurt little people that just lost his family. Did I jump to conclusions earlier when I kissed him? Was I reading things wrong? Maybe there's a chance for the two of us after all. What do I do about it though?
"I'm sorry, I was only trying to make sure you were alright Clark," Whitney says, looking down at the floor.
"Like he would actually care if you were alright or not. Hell he almost killed you today and don't get me started about the past," Lex says as I glare at him.
"He wasn't trying to kill me," I say, looking at Whitney, noticing a few tears fall from his eyes. "Whitney, I'm going outside to get some air. Would you come with me please?"
"S-sure, I'll go with you," he replies as Lex looked at me, surely mad that I was going outside and I asked Whitney to go with me.
"Thank you," I say as I turned to walk out of the room and he followed me out.
"Clark are you really okay?" He asks me, walking along side me and looking up into my eyes.
"I don't know Whit," I say as I opened the door to the patio and stepped outside. "I won't know if I'm okay until I've had my air."
"We're outside now Clark," he says, looking down again.
"I know we are," I tell him as I step in front of him. "Whit...Whit, I got to know something."
"What do you want to know?" He asks, looking up at me now.
"Is there someone special in your life right now?" I ask him, wondering if maybe there's someone else.
"There is, but I don't know what's going on between us," he says, looking down again.
"Oh," I say, wanting to run away again and just go cry. I should've known he wouldn't really be single. Hell he's probably back with Lana or something. "I kinda figured that."
"Yeah? Well what gave it away?" He asks, still looking down.
"I don't know," I say, just wanting to get away from him. I don't want him to see me cry.
"Things are a little bit shaky for us. I wish we could get on the same page, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon," he says as I could hear the tremble in his voice.
"Why are things shaky?" I ask, not really knowing why I asked.
"Things are shaky because I might have done something stupid when I didn't mean to," he says, looking up now.
"Oh? What did you do that was stupid that you didn't mean to?" I ask him as he stepped closer to me.
"Clark...Clark can I ask you something?" He asks me.
"Sure you can Whit," I say, looking at his face now, trying to determine where this was going.
"Clark could you tell me why did you kissed me today?" He asks, looking up at me now with tears in his eyes. "That's all I want to know. Can you tell me that?"
"I...I can't," I say as he looked down at me and takes in a breath. "Whit?"
"It's okay Clark, I understand," he says, walking towards the door. "I actually thought there was something starting, but I guess I was wrong."
"Whit wait!" I shout out, shattering the patio glass in the process. Oh Damn!
"What the hell!" He screams, jumping back away from the doors. "How in the hell did that happen?"
"Whit are you okay?" I ask him, holding him in my arms now.
"I would be if this was something we could do all the time," he says, wrapping his arms around my neck.
"Whit...Whit...I...I...love you," I say as he smiled and pulled me closer to him and kissed me. Wow, talk about some kiss. I got hard instantly and wanted to start doing things.
"I've waited a long time to hear you say that Clark Jerome Kent," he says as he smiled again. "I love you too. I wanted you to say that earlier today when I asked you why you kissed me."
"Well I didn't know that," I say, looking up to see Lex watching us from the doorway.
"What the hell happened out here Clark?" Lex asks as in a harsh tone, glaring at Whitney. "What happened to the patio doors?"
"I don't know. We were out here talking and the glass just exploded," I say as he looked at me strangely. "It could've been high-pitched sound or something."
"If that was the case, why is the glass here broken and no where else?" He asks as I shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know. Could've been just faulty glass," I say as he shook his head.
"I don't get it. I don't know why strange things always happen when you're around," he says as the guys of «N Sync were walking out to join us.
"Mr. Luthor, Lex, this is getting boring. Are there any nightclubs in this town?" Joey Fatone asks, stepping up behind Lex.
"There is one club downtown, but..." He says, but stops.
"But what?" Lance Bass asks this time. "We need some kind of entertainment. I know we're here to provide entertainment, but that's not until tomorrow night. Tonight, we need to have some fun."
"What kind of fun?" Whitney asks him as even I raise an eye at him.
"Any kind as long as it keeps us awake," Lance Bass says as we all noticed that he and JC Chasez were holding hands.
"I think we can help you guys find some place to have fun," Whitney says as he smiled at me and then looked up at the «N Sync guys.
