scene continues:
(By the way I shared a house with Jc and Lance. At first, they wanted to kick me out, then decided if I stayed they could keep an eye on me.)
Sometimes, if one or two of them thinks I'm doing something I should'nt be [gay(which I don't anyway, I act like a straight guy)] then the four of them will surround me and punch me and kick me and basically beat me up. Some friends I have huh. I never have Looked at any of them and I never would, there's no reason to. They act like I'm a gay perver sex maniac. Which I most certainly am not. Maybe I should call the police on them for assault and battery. But what's the point?
"Get ready to go." Chris came by and said to Jc and me.
"What?" Jc asked.
"Get ready to go. We're going home. Now." he hissed, glaring at me. I swallowed, afraid. I hated to get hit. Almost more than anything. And here are my (supposed) best friends in the world, beating the hell out of me for no (or no sufficient) reason.
Jc sighed. "Stay here." he said, and went to get his jacket.
I sat back, feeling bad anxious. (That's what I call it when I feel nervous cause something bad's gonna happen.) I really didn't want to get hit. I should have just kept my mouth shut. But since I'm gay I have to just take it. Life sucks.
But maybe...maybe I could get out of it. I glanced arond wildly. Where's Brian? Maybe if I got him to come over here real quick and talk to me awhile, I could stay here and talk to him and wouldn't have to go home and get hit.
If only I could find him....There!
"Brian!" I hissed. He looked around, and I waved him over. He came.
"Sup?" he said.
I glanced around, and didn't see the others yet. "Sit down and chat with me awhile, why don't you?" I offered.
He shrugged and sat down beside me on the couch. "What do you want to chat about?"
"Listen," I said quickly and softly. My tone got his attention. "The other guys are coming back real soon. They want me to go with them, but I don't want to go. Please sit here with me and talk to me so I have an excuse not to go!" I begged.
He looked startled. "well...okay..." he said slowly.
"Listen, I'll explain later. And I really have a good excuse, but there's no time right now to explain. Just play along, please!" He saw how scared I was.
"Well..." he said.
"Please! You've got to!"
"Will I get into trouble with them? I don't want to cause a fight between ya'll.."
"Believe me Brian, you'll be preventing one." I said, wide-eyed. " A one-sided, four against one fistfight. Them against me. And I don't dare fight back."
He looked a little shocked. "Well, okay. But you have to promise to explain it to me."
"Oh, I will!" I vowed.
"Okay." he nodded.
"Ready to go, Justin?" Chris asked me curtly.
My eyes darted up. "Um, I'm in the middle of a long conversation with Brian here about...um..."
"Fans." Brian supplied.
"Um, yeah. We're comparing funny stories." I said.
"You can do that anytime. Up. " he said.
"Can't he stay a little longer? It's not life or death, is it?" Brian ventured. Bless him!
"We're his ride." Lance said.
"I'll drive him back." he offered.
"You don't know where our house is." Lance narrowed his eyes.
"Well, I'm sure Justin does." Brian said.
"Fine. But we have to talk to him. We'll just do it when you bring him back." Jc said. "Come on guys. Brian." he extended a hand. Brian shook it. The stood up and saluted their backs as they walked out.
"Yes Drill Sar-gent!" he said. I would have laughed, but I was too shaky and bad anxious and scared.
He sat down and looked at me. I looked down at my hands, which were trembling.
"What's wrong?" he said tentatively, noticing.
"Well..." I took a deep breath. "I'm..can we go somewhere more private? There's too many people around and I don't want them to hear."
