Gay

Hey Guys Nick again, if your reading this then I guess it means I didn't do a terrible job on the first chapter although it had no mention of sex what so ever. This story will be a slow build so be patient with me and I will get to the good stuff in time I promise.

Now for the Nifty PSA we all know by heart but can't live without: A this story will contain sex at some points between underage high school males if this offends you please leave. B if it is illegal for you to read this type of material where ever you are currently, due to federal and international laws please leave no need to get anyone in trouble and that does include if you are too young to be reading this kind of stuff as well. Sorry those are the rules I don't make them just recite them to you.

Southern dreams- it's a story I thought of in my head guys nothing is real here, except for the town of Franklin which I will be modeling off my own southern home town. Most of the situations will be false as well again I might take here and there from personal experiences but any connection to any person living or deceased is purely by chance.

Ok now that we have all the boring stuff out of the way I gladly preset for your reading pleasure

Southern Dreams Chapter two

Summer had flown by for Nate especially since most of his time had been spent unpacking his life from California. As his alarm sounded dutifully at 5:30 am as it had for the last several weeks he groaned and hauled himself out of the comfort of his king size bed, and threw on his running gear. As he walked down stairs trying to be quite as possible as to let the rest of his family enjoy a few moments more of blissful sleep he was surprised to see his mother up cooking a large breakfast. She grinned and waved him into the kitchen, Stephanie Carson, the rather tall wife and mother of the Carson men was in her element in the kitchen frying bacon, eggs and hash browns on the stove.

While also being a lawyers "trophy" wife Stephanie had learned a few tricks around the kitchen as one might hope she would after having a house of three men and a bottomless pit of a baby girl in her life. Nate Stretching upwards toward the ceiling his faded LA Dodgers t-shirt riding up his taunt stomach displaying his six pack abs and his dark treasure trail which disappeared into a well-worn pair of Nike gray gym shorts. Stephanie took spoon off the counter she had planned to stir the gravy with and popped her son's belly with it smiling with at solid smack it caused hitting his flesh. Nate let out a yelp "Mom what the crap did you do that for?" he whined. She just smirked "Honey I know you think that your God's gift to both men and women alike but I rather not see your hairy chest this early in the morning and need I remind you that I'm your mother not some seventeen year old cheerleader." Nate just laughed and hugged the woman that had always supported him no matter what, he poured two cups of coffee and got the cream out of the refrigerator with one hand while pulling on his mother's arm with the other and began to take both the cream and his mother to the kitchen table.

Stephanie took the cream and added sugar to hers while Nate sat there sipping his black just like his father a habit that to her credit she had tried to get them both to stop saying that only weirdos drink coffee black that or they have no soul. She sat there looking at her oldest son sixteen years old although if you met him on a street corner you would never know that because he acted so much like adult already she felt though that she and Ryan had done a fine job bring him up thank you very much even if they were barely twenty years old when Nate was brought into their lives. Nate noticed the far off look in his mother's eyes and nudged her while giving her the crazy eye, "Mom earth to Mom the toast is on fire and I have a snow day" Nate joked. Stephanie just looked at him like he had grown a third head but claim replied "Well maybe we can put the flaming toast on the snow that has fallen in seventy degree weather." She grinned back at him.

"It was worth a shoot I guess," Nate laughed, "I'm just glad that you have that winning sense of humor already working your dad worries about you and I agree this is a fresh start Nate how about you make at least one new friend at school today." She responded and Nate simply shook his head that he understood and the rest of their breakfast was spent talking about how excited he should be as compared to how nervous he was for his first day at a new school where he knew absolutely no one. He wolfed down two large helpings of eggs, bacon, sausage and toast while washing it down with two more cups of black as night coffee. Afterwards he bounded upstairs and took a quick shower not even having time to admire his toned body from all his work in the gym for football. That was his saving grace in the move the first thing he had asked his dad was if there was a football team not even thinking of how he was moving south where the sport was more a religion than an after school activity.

After laughing and telling him of course what kind of school in the south would not have a football team Ryan told Nate that he had already sent his tape to the high school coach and the coach was very impressed wanting Nate to join the team the first day of the school year. So Nate had spent most of his remaining time in California surfing and working out as he knew that Franklin would not have a gym to suit him all summer long. Fresh out of his shower Nate come into his room with a red towel wrapped around his waist, he walked across the room to his closet for the hardest part of his day trying to find something that did make him scream preppy new kid. Finally he decided on a pair of tan Polo cargo shorts paired with yellow American eagle polo white ankle socks and his navy blue Nike air epics, he also added his sliver necklace that had a golden football with his old number eleven on it a gift from his latest ex,.

He just couldn't take the charm off though he loved the gift when she had gave it to him and had promised himself that he wouldn't let her ruin it for him despite how things had ended between them. He finished off his outfit with his brand new Invicta watch and a pair of Ray-Ban aviators he had spent the summer before last mowing yards to buy for himself as Stephanie and Ryan had said he should have to earn the money rather than them just handing it over every time he wanted something. While most kids would have pitched a fit over this stimulation Nate respected and admired his parents for it understanding that they were teaching him to be self-reliant to a degree. He grabbed his well-used Oakley backpack, the last thing his grandmother had bought for him and for some sentimental reason he could not get over it enough to allow his mom to buy him a new bag.

The backpack was the only thing that one might find out of place with Nate it had duct tape on the bottom portion of the bag which was still threating to bust open at any given moment, along with crude stitching running down the side where it had caught and ripped on a neighbors fence last school year. As he came down the stairs his mom just shook her head after seeing the ratty bag "honey I really wish you would let me or your dad buy you a new book bag we can buy the same one if you really like that style." She said, "Mom you know this is the last gift grandma got me, you can't replace it with something that just looks the same." He shot back. She smiled her mother had passed away from cancer right before Nate had started high school it was a quick process they caught it too late and it had already spread throughout her body but she was at peace with the idea that she would die and it was three months after they found the cancer that she was laid to rest.

"I know you still miss her and there's nothing wrong with wanting to carry the bag she gave you, we can always add another layer of duct tape I suppose," she laughed. He just nodded his head and grabbed the keys to his truck, which should have raised a red flag in his mind that he might be a southern boy after all when he saw it last summer it was summer it was just calling to him a gray ford 150 super cab. Neither of his parents could see a problem buying it for him a solid reliable truck which he could help haul the family boat and also a way for him to transport his surf board on the numerous trips he was seeming to make to the beach. He named her Amy, and was always offering to help when the job required a truck. Nate kissed his mom on the top of her head a fact that she hated he could already do not being a short woman herself at five foot nine, and was out the door to face his first day at Richlands high.

He jumped in Amy and fired her up, loving hearing the power that the truck could produce he backed out of their three car garage where she did not belong next his mom's 2016 Mercedes Benz candy apple red s-class or his dads gray version. He pulled onto the main road and hadn't gotten three miles down the road when he thought his day could not get any better because walking on the side walk was Josh his golden hair shining in the early morning light. Nate pulled over and yelled out the window, "Hey man do you need a ride," he asked? "I wouldn't say no, mostly because I want a ride in this beautiful truck are you going to Richlands' he asked? "Yeah man, my names Nate and it's my first day so you can help me get there, I'm still getting lost trying to get around and we have been here three months now" Nate laughed.

"Yeah bro no problem, my names Josh I live on a farm about ten minutes outside the town limits and usually I take the bus to school but I missed it today and had to walked till you stopped' Josh replied. "Well I'll be glad to give you a ride man you actually walked past my house I bet if, so I can just come over to yours in the morning and we can ride in together it would be nice to have a guy that could show me around and possible be my first friend here" Nate said. Josh just nodded nad grinned for the next ten minutes they shoot the bull about how they spent their summers and how they spent their free time and before they knew it they were pulling into the school parking lot.

Richlands was an older brick building that started off as the original town hall, but as the years it had been renovated several times with new additions of wings and a second floor and third floor that was devoted to upper classman. It even had a separate lunchroom, it was said that if two member of the same family went to Richlands and one was an upper class man and the other a lower classman they would not see each other but twice a day when they entered and exited he school. Many of the students heads though attention was toward the shiny new ford truck that was currently rolling through the lot with everyone's favorite jock and a new kid behind the wheel that would certainly be the subject of all new gossip. Josh grinned like a Cheshire cat and this look was not lost on Nate, "What man what is so funny already that has you grinning like my little brother when he gets the last cookie" Nate asked?

"Nothing Nate, just the fact that I do believe that you are already gathering a following and you haven't stepped foot on campus yet" Josh replied. "Man you are crazy no one cares about the new kid, at my old school we would get at last one new kid a week it seemed like" Nate shoot back. "Haha that's where you're wrong, here we never get a new kid I can't actually remember the last time we had a new kid to be honest" Josh replied. With this Nate turned of Amy and grabbed his and Josh backpacks out from behind their seats, and they threw the doors open and stepped out into the already sticky warm air of early august in Franklin. As they began to walk across the parking lot toward the school by two boys and a girl, the two boys flanked Nate and Josh while the girl just walked up to Josh and placed a kiss right on his lips.

Nate's heart sank when he saw this level of affection displayed between his Josh and some random girl, while Nate knew it was a long shoot to think that Josh was gay or even if he could get him to fall for him. He hide his rejection well though, the redhead beside Nate though was bent over laughing "Honey why is it that you show him more attraction then you do me," the boy asked between fits of laughter. Josh just smirked at the boy "Adam your just not enough for Jenny any more and she has moved for the big guns" He said, "Big guns, dude you're the shorty of this group even in those boots that I still don't understand haven't fallen apart yet" the other boy replied. "Carter haven't you heard that shorter is better it take rain and snow longer to get down here" Josh replied. The boy just shook his head at Josh as if to convey that he could not handle his friend's absurd logic this early in the morning.

Nate lost it at Josh's antics, it was at this time that the other kids realized that they had a new person in their group. The girl that Josh had called Jenny came bouncing over to Nate "New kid I take it your our Josh savior after he missed the bus" she more said then asked, "Yeah that would be me, my names Nate and my family just moved here from California in June" Nate responded. Jenny just smiled, "Well let me welcome you to both Franklin and this jail better known as Richlands high, you'll be fine here especially since your now with the cool kids" she said. The other two guys introduce themselves Adam was a junior like Nate and Josh he was the odd ball being the class clown he was the guy had the whole group laughing, Carter was the other jock in the group playing basketball and wrestling and was also the big guy spending most of his free time in the gym. Jenny was the glue that held them together being the leader, a skill she had picked up in her years involved in student government, she and Carter were the older ones of the group both being seniors this year and already looking forward to graduation.

They walked across the parking lot together and then as they got to the stairs that separated the upper and lower levels of the school bid their farewells with the promise that they would all meet for lunch. Josh then volunteered to be Nate guide for the day as they collected his schedule, and Josh looked it over and had a huge grin on his face "Dude you lucked out, Ap history and stats with me the first two periods, college English with Carson then lunch followed by criminal justice with Adam and end with independent study with Jenny" Josh stated. All Nate could smile at this fact having a class with the people who apparently were close with Josh and had already had adopted into their group, it was better than he could have ever imagined it going and just maybe he could survive this new school and move after all.

Hey guys that's chapter two I know it took me a lot longer than I would like to admit but I do have a good excuse, I have been battling financial aid for the last little bit but I think that battles finally over. So what does that mean for you guys? Well hopefully a faster turnaround on chapter three, plus a better response to emails and everything else. As always feel free to comment at Nickwritessouthern@gmail.com thanks in advance
