To those who've been reading Tales of Sol. I want you to know that there is sex in this story. That is not its sole purpose and yes I do hope the sex sense makes you all hard and gets you off.
Sol is an adaptation from my childhood favorite show Captain Planet and the Planeteers. The cartoon showed us that the world can be a better place if we take a few moments to care for it.
Tales of Sol is meant to express hope.
It also shows how music can have an impact in our lives. I don't know if my favorite bands 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys, or Nsync have ever read this. They saw me through some of the hardest moments of my life and offered in their own way hope. To them, I say thank you.
I dedicate the Tales of Sol to all of my brothers and sisters of the US Armed Service past, present, and future.
I like to thank my friends whom I had the privilege of showing these chapters with. They helped with editing and inspiration,
John Rivera, Albert-Russ Alan Rivera-Odum, Derbe.D. Hunte Yvette Ortiz Samuel Diaz Jr for all their help in Making The Tales of Sol an enjoyable story to write.
And I have a few other names starting with the beginner of this universe.

The Tales of Sol 78
Beach Fun
Brian, Rob, and I finally finished taking our showers after our sexual adventure so that we could finally make it down to the beach.
The Hawaiian Beach was everything they claimed it to be. We were all having a great time. It was a blast when we did it. While Howie and AJ were building a sand castle, Kevin and Nick were surfing, and Brian, Rob, and I were just lounging in the tropical sun. I had to admit that this little escape from vampires and demons, bank robbers and muggers, natural disasters, and calamities was exactly what the doctor ordered. I was merely taking in the peaceful moments when I could hear the countless people and animals having fun.
I genuinely let out a sad sigh. Brian heard it and said, "Love, what is wrong?"
I sat up and stared out at the ocean. "I was actually just thinking of someone and how neither one of us has bothered to call each other," I said.
"Who?" Rob had inquired while glancing around the top of his shades.
"Another man who successfully captured my heart," I sighed.
"You are thinking about Jeff, aren't you?" Brian saw the direction this was going.
"Jeff who?' Rob questioned
"Before I met Brian, I met Jeff Timmons and the rest of 98 Degrees; they were all wonderful guys."
Rob joked, "You sure make friends pretty good," but when he saw the serious expression on my face, he apologized
I gave Rob a rushed version of how I met 98 Degrees and said, "Jeff and I developed feelings for each other; Destiny saw fit that I would break his heart so I could be with Brian." I ended with a regretful sigh.
I tried to reassure my love, saying, "I love you, Brian; please do not ever doubt that."
Without a hint of judgment, "Mike, you and Jeff had a special relationship too; how can I even think that you can just drop those feelings even for me?" Brian slid his hand into mine.
"You two are so sweet and too damn sentimental," Nick remarked as he approached us.
"I do not see anything sentimental about missing someone who called you Love at one point; your heart is not a machine that you can just turn off," Rob said.
Brian agreed with a shake of his head. "It would be so much easier if we could just stop, but I am not angry or hurt to think that Jeff still has a place in your beautiful heart; I would be concerned if you just let him go."
"I know your love for me is real, and I have no doubt whatsoever that you love me and only me," Brian added.
"What did I do to deserve to have you in my world?" I asked. I clasped Brian's hand in mine.
Nick grabbed his surfboard and said, "Enough of this mush, I am going surfing," but before he could go very far, I grabbed him.
I saw some understanding cross his face when I said, "When you find him, you will look back at this moment and see that love is not some sentimental thing, but something you cherish because it is a powerful force that even a volcano cannot stop."
"Yes, without a doubt, but I will ride as many waves as I can until it finds me." I sighed as Nick laughed and sprinted toward the water while holding his board.
"Do not be too hard on him, Mike; he is still young and has not experienced true love the way you and I have," Brian said in a straightforward statement.
But that was not even on my mind. I sensed danger lurking there the moment Nick and his surfboard made a splash in the water. I stood up and went over to the sea.
Brian knew me too well; nevertheless, he asked, "Mike, what is it?" This was followed by Brian and Rob coming with me to the shoreline.
"I see you," I said, focusing on the glistening blue waters that concealed something lethal if I let it approach. I was talking to the ocean. Brian and Rob's gazes were drawn to the water; obviously, their friend saw something, but the water revealed nothing.
"You are not that clever. I know you are there." My eyes narrowed.
"This place is not for you," I commanded, sounding more like a Vorlon than a human.
When Nick felt the hard ocean against his chest and saltwater sprayed his face, he squealed with delight. He was having so much fun that he did not notice Mike standing on the edge of the water, staring intently into the distance.
When the Backstreet Boy turned to give Mike a joyful wave, even from this distance, Nick sensed Mike was warning him. Nick cautiously followed his friend's dark gaze back down into the waters. When he noticed a large shadow moving beneath the surface,
Nick exclaimed, "Fuck."
A young boy was splashing around next to Nick, completely unaware of the danger. Nick grabbed him and yanked him onto his board. "Hey, I was playing here," the kid complained.
"Shush, do not make any sudden movements," Nick yelled in terror. He drew his legs and the boy closer to his body, trying to remain still as the waves gently rocked them. He looked into the clear waters of the ocean and saw what had just swum under his board. It was a shark, and it was huge. As Nick clutched the boy tighter as they both saw the monster, he cursed appreciatively, "Fuck," hoping the shark would lose interest and swim away.
"You should go back to the open seas," I encouraged the silent stalker. Rob and Brian were still trying to figure out what was going on.
Brian began looking around when he noticed how the beach animals were acting. They were all at a dangerous halt
Upon seeing his friends standing at the water's edge and one of them talking to the waves, Kevin rushed up to us. "What is Mike doing? How come he is talking to the ocean?" he wondered.
"Hush! Just take a look, Kevin!" Brian spoke in hushed tones. Brian waved to the animals on the beach, then back out to the water, where a dark shape was approaching the shore. Kevin looked up and felt a surge of fear. Kicking up sand, Kevin dashed to the lifeguard station, hoping to get some assistance.
"Sir, you must immediately warn the swimmers!" Kevin staggered over to the lifeguard, who was sitting on a high chair.
"What is wrong? Why should I alert the swimmers?" The lifeguard asked, his eyes narrowed on Kevin.
"Look at the creatures, please! There is a threat out there, and my friend is doing everything he can to keep it at bay!" Kevin yelled as he pointed to the sea. He was hoping that the lifeguard would see the shark and intervene.
"I do not see anything. I am not going to cause any sort of uproar. I am not going to cause a commotion." Kevin was misidentified as a prankster or a troublemaker by him. "Go away," the Lightguard said as he waved him off.
"I know there is food here, but you are not going to get any today," I warned the silent stalker as it approached the shore slowly. I tried to appear confident and authoritative, but I was terrified. I was unsure whether I could stop the shark from attacking the people in the water.
Kevin grabbed the lifeguard's megaphone and turned it on. "Everyone, pay attention! I need everyone in the sea to stop moving!" he yelled, hoping to get their attention.
The guard made an indignant motion, attempting to take the microphone from Kevin's grasp.
"There is a shark in the water! You must immediately stop moving!" Kevin screamed,
Kevin was finally able to persuade the lifeguard that he was telling the truth. The Lifeguard was furious that Kevin had stolen his megaphone, but he was also concerned about the swimmers. Everyone on the beach raised their heads.
Even the lifeguard took a quick glance out at the water. They were all aware of the shark, which was now very close to the shore. It was a great white shark, and it looked menacing and hungry. "Everyone in the water, please stop moving!" Kevin begged in an attempt to ensure everyone's safety. He watched as Mike tried to talk the shark back into the water. He wondered if Mike would be able to pull it off and how.
That is when the lifeguard's emergency phone rang. He responded promptly and paid attention to the person on the other end. He trembled and said, "Yes, yes, we know it has been spotted and we are trying to calm everyone here to prevent it from attacking." He hung up the phone and gave Kevin a scared look. "You are correct. I just got word that spotters saw a shark in the area," he admitted.
"Okay, my big friend, you need to go now," I said to the big fish as the shark approached. Following Kevin's instructions, the people in the ocean had stopped moving. "I need your assistance, my friends. Please assist me in herding this guy back out," I yelled into the water. I hoped the dolphins heard me and came to my aid.
A pod of bottlenose dolphins swam beneath Nick and the young boy on his board. The sight of the graceful animals astounded them.
"Where did they come from?" the boy wondered, temporarily forgetting his fear.
When Nick returned his gaze to the shore, he noticed Mike standing there, talking to the ocean. He realized Mike was responsible for the dolphins' appearance. "They were summoned by a friend of mine," he explained.
The dolphins were faster swimmers than the shark, quickly putting themselves between the people and the predator. They formed a strategy by communicating with each other via clicks and whistles. "We can't let you get any closer to us, and we do not want to hurt you. Please return to the open seas," I asked. The dolphins began to make thrashing motions toward the shark, swimming around it and attempting to push it back into the sea. They were succeeding. The shark was beginning to back away.
"That is it. You are causing enough excitement, and you are still lord of these seas," I said, commanding but respectfully. I felt the shark turn around and swim away, followed by the dolphins. They kept herding the shark away until it was out of sight.
Nick remained seated on his board, watching as the shark passed beneath them. The dolphins swam beneath them as well, darting back and forth as they continued to drive the shark away. They appeared to be shielding them from the shark. Nick was overcome with gratitude and admiration for the dolphins.
"Nick, very slowly paddle back," Kevin said over the megaphone. He sounded relieved and optimistic.
"All right, little man, we need to get back to the shore. Can you assist me?" Nick inquired of the boy, who continued to shake his head. He was too terrified to move. "Look, I need something from you. We have to go very slowly," Nick instructed. He knew they needed to be cautious and calm, or they would attract the shark's attention once more.
"Shouldn't we be going as fast as we can?" the boy pleaded. He wanted to get out of the water as soon as possible. He was eager to get out of the water.
"I know you are scared, it is okay I am scared, too. But, believe me, panicking will only attract the shark to us. It is less likely to come towards us if we move slowly and steadily. Can you do that?" Nick encouraged as he slowly moved forward, dipping his hand gently into the water. He was hoping the boy would take his lead. The boy mimicked Nick's gesture, nodding. With gentle strokes in the water, Nick's board slowly moved them towards the beach, "That's it. Slow strokes," Nick instructed calmly. He was doing everything he could to keep his own fears at bay. He noticed that the other people in the ocean were also slowly making their way back to shore, as Kevin had advised. He hoped that they would all make it safely.
"That is it, we have had our fill of beach fun. A cuttlefish is waiting for you now." I encouraged the shark to continue on its way.
The dolphins were not going to give up their pursuit until they knew the shark had left the area. When Nick approached the shore, the boy collapsed on the sand. before the kid took off running.
As the rest of the band gathered around Mike, AJ whispered, "That dude has got to teach me on how he does this shit,"
Nick approached me. "Thank you very much, my friends." I graciously thanked my dolphin friends
Kevin remained by the guard station and heard the lifeguard phone ring again. Kevin remained by the guard station and heard the lifeguard phone ring again.
"Yes, yes, I believe we are clear. Are you certain that it has left the area?" the lifeguard inquired, setting down the phone. "Those spotters have given the all-clear. How on earth were you guys able to see that shark?" The lifeguard gasped and turned to face Mike and Kevin. Kevin proudly grinned and gestured to Mike. "My friend over there is amazing. He knew. How, I will never know. But he not only saved those swimmers, but he also managed to protect the shark too," he said, admiring Mike's power.
Down at the shoreline, everyone was still on edge until I backed away from the water's edge. "The danger has passed and the waters are safe to enter," I announced, walking back to our place on the beach.
"Are you sure, Mike?" Nick asked as he still looked weary out at the churning seas.
"Yes, Nick, go have fun. That big bully has gently returned to looking for fish," I said, sitting under the umbrella. Brian and Rob rejoined me as the beach slowly returned to the joyful and relaxed state that was there only minutes ago.
Rob turned to me. "How in the hell did you even know there was a shark in the water, to begin with?" he gasped, curious about my ability.
"God and the Earth," Brian smiled, including both our beliefs. "Have granted Mike special insight like that, and it has come through once again," Brian hugged me lovingly, proud of me.
"But that shark's fin didn't even break the surface tension of the ocean. How in the world can you spot something when there is no sign?" Rob asked, still puzzled. I turned to him.
"There were indeed signs. You just didn't pick up on them with all the noise going on around us," I explained.
"What signs did I miss that caught your attention?" Rob really wanted to know.
"The animals had all gone silent the minute Nick ran into the water," I said, waving to the beach as the wildlife returned to normal. "We are always so wrapped up in our everyday lives to miss out on what is often right in front of us," I simply said, sharing my wisdom.
"In all that noise, you were able to pick out the animals that had suddenly gone silent?" Rob wondered, impressed by my skill.
"Rob, how many times have you seen Sasha suddenly jump to her feet as if she heard something you hadn't?" I asked him, referring to his dog.
"Many times. I swear that dog goes crazy sometimes," Rob admitted, thinking of his pet.
"Oh no, that dog's hearing is far more sensitive than ours and it indeed hears things we can't," I shot back, defending Sasha.
Brian laughed. "Mike's ears are just as fine-tuned, especially since he has been around far noisier places, and he had to be able to distinguish those different noises for his safety and of those around him," he said, explaining my background.
I laughed. "Rob, I was stationed on an aircraft carrier for many years, Where all kinds of noises were just part of daily life at sea, and a sudden change or silence in all that noise could mean trouble," I said, recalling my experience in the navy.
"So it wasn't just your supernatural hearing then. You can selectively pick up different noises?" Rob inquired, fascinated by my skill.
"That to took training, and it began even before the navy," I nodded, thinking of my past.
Brian looked at me curiously. "Really? What made you want to begin to be so selective in your hearing?" he asked, wondering what sparked my interest.
I smiled and tried to sing a familiar song. "Quit Playing Games With My Heart," I sang, though my voice wasn't near Brian's level. That got both Brian's and Rob's attention.
"We did?" Brian exclaimed, surprised by my choice.
"Yes, five guys singing together created harmony, but it also drowned out the individual," I nodded, explaining my motivation. "When you guys were singing together, I would try to listen and pick out each of your voices," I informed my friends.
"Why?" Rob asked, curious about my reason.
"Because those individuals made up Backstreet Boys, and it was those individuals I wanted to hear. At the same time, I wanted to hear the whole band," I answered, revealing my admiration for them. This made Brian tear up. "You were just trying to get to know us as best as you can, and not see us as super hot singers?" he asked, touched by my gesture.
"You are super hot singers," I pointed out, making both Rob and Brian giggle.
"But when I listened, and I mean listened, to each of you singing, I could pick out things that most people wouldn't try to," I told them, sharing my secret.
"Such as?" Rob asked, eager to know more.
"Let's see. Who often sees super hot singers as anything other than super hot singers?"I prompted them, challenging them to think differently. Brian and Rob looked at each other with the same recognized expression as they asked themselves that very question. "By listening to your voices, both together and individually, I picked out your character and some of your quirks, and I listened to your hearts," I said, as I put my hand into the beach.
"Grains of sand put together make a beach, but the individual grain is often overlooked and not seen for what it is." I let the sand sift through my fingers. "Every grain is different from the next, and therefore the only one of its kind," I said, turning my eyes to my super hot singers.
"Every person is unique. Sure, our bodies are arranged the same--a heart, two lungs, and a stomach." I rubbed Brian's tummy, making him giggle.
Returning my love's devotion to the Father, "But there is only one Brian, and when the Father calls you home, there will never be another Brian." I stared right into his eyes. I could see the love for me in them. "I didn't want to know the Backstreet Boy. I wanted to know Brian, who sang for the Backstreet Boys," I mentally kissed him, and you could see it on his face that he knew what I had just done. I turned to Rob. "The same was said when I heard you, Rob."
"You are more than the super sexy singer that told me nothing than what my eyes already told me I listened to you sing so I could hear you," I fixed Rob Thomas with an equally respective gaze and I could see that look of appreciation wash over him as well they had met someone who saw them more the super sexy singers and as Brian Littrell and Rob Thomas. Two unique grains of sand on the beach of life.
Turning to Brian "Can I steal him from you" Rob pleaded
Brian grabbed me and said, "This one belongs to me," in a comedic manner.
"Oh, how I wish I could stick my dick up his ass," Rob winked at me.
"Is that so?" I grinned
"You are probably among the few who prefer Rob Thomas the man to Rob Thomas the singer when it comes to having his boner slide up his ass."
I joked, "I do not know they both have the same dick."
"He has a point," Brian merely laughed.
"Oh, how I wish I could stick my dick up his ass," Rob said, giving me a wink.
"Is that so?" I smiled.
"You are probably among the few who prefer Rob Thomas the man to Rob Thomas the singer when it comes to having his boner slide up his ass."
I chuckled, "I do not know they both have the same dick."
"He has a point." Brian merely laughed.
Rob grinned and said, "So do I." He caressed the curve of his dick with his palm to indicate that he understood us. As we watched, it became thicker. My own was becoming harder, and judging from the expression on Brian's face, I knew he was feeling wicked too
I was already considering the same thing. I rose up, dusted the sand off my body, and stretched. "I think I am done with the sun," I said. I left the beach on foot.
Before running after me, Brian raced up to his cousin and promised to visit him later at the hotel.
Rob trailed closely following.
Both Kevin and AJ exchanged a puzzled look, knowing exactly what was going to happen.
Just as I was about to touch the sidewalk, Rob grabbed me from behind and stuck his hardon in my ass, saying, "You are not leaving that quickly." He moved in closer, his fingers squeezing my dick hard through my swimsuit as it went down my waist
"You are a fucking hot number," Rob mumbled into my ears, making me tremble.
"Will you wait until we return to the hotel, or are you going to do it for me here in the parking lot?" Rob was not amused, and he leaned me forward and pushed his crotch into my clothed ass. I tried not to sound too eager. Rob's aim was clearly visible through the material, and I could sense his stiff dick nudging me. With reluctance, he released me and remarked, "I would do you here. But will wait until we get to the hotel"
Rob grabbed my ass and murmured, "Okay, but as soon as we are behind closed doors, I am bending you over." "I am sticking my dick up your ass," he said.
"Let us get there first!" As we walked back, Brian panted, trying not to show off too much, but his hands pressed and squeezed both of our asses.
Nick was trailing closely behind us, nuzzling his crotch discreetly. He couldn't decide if he wanted to watch the sex happen or find a way to get involved.
Brian fastened the door to our room as soon as we arrived.
Rob stayed true to his word and heaved me over in the middle of the room, taking no time to undress either of us. He clamped his hand around my hips and started pounding his trunks into me. Rob's dick, which I could feel through both of our suits as he ground into my still-clothed ass, was too big for the thin material.
"Oh, Mike, this is very beautiful. Getting inside your ass will be fantastic for me." Rob Thomas complained.
Brian came over, flashing a silly smile, and put his hands on my head, lowering it till his dick was in his swimsuit. There was no space for interpretation in the outline. Brian began shoving my face into his swimsuit.
Through the polyester material, I could feel his gorgeous dick expand and soak. We couldn't stop gasping at this amazing performance on both ends.
Brian laughed, but there was a lot of sexual tension in his voice. "Are we going to strip my lover or continue this erotic dance?"
Instead of answering, Rob reached around to grab the strings on my swimsuit and undid them, allowing my shorts to slide down in one motion.
"Oh, my dearest Seeing you like this is so very hot and seductive." When Brian took off his bathing suit and flashed his beautifully cut cock, his voice was raspy with the exquisite intensity of sex.
Brian said, putting his penis near my lips, "Open up, Love." My mouth began to moisten at the sight of my partner's gorgeous cock, so I happily opened up. His penis' head slid between my lips, causing me to melt with pleasure at a fever approved by sex. Brian then pushed more of his dick into my mouth, gripping my head and hammering my mouth,
Rob's shorts came undone, and I could feel his hands rubbing my ass.
Rob split my cheeks and stuck his tongue in my hole, and I felt his hot breath on my ass. His tongue moved along the crack. Rob took my dick and put it in his mouth, leaving me feeling let down after he spent a few seconds eating me out.
Brian was having so much joy sticking his penis in and out of my mouth that I was unable to utter anything but groan around his dick.
Brian ordered, "That is it, Rob, prepare him for that dick," as I felt Rob stab my ass with his finger to get it ready for his larger penis to enter. Brian screamed, and I heard it.
I was still around his cock with my lips in order to speak. Hearing Brian moan made me feel even more attracted to him.
I was surprised to feel my dick go into a mouth when Rob came back to my ass, but he was too busy eating me out. I was required to carry out an inquiry. I spotted Nick sucking me off before Brian pushed me back down into his raging hardon. Rob just held off on his tongue attack on my behind so I could feel the blunt tip of his beast seeping into my butt.
I was in the thick of a celebrity sex marathon with three of the hottest guys I knew, living the homosexual dream. Nick was sucking my cock, Rob Thomas's dick was fucking my ass, and Brian's dick was fucking my mouth.
It continued after that. Each of the three of them took turns sucking my dick, which dick went up my ass, and whose dick penetrated my mouth, switching me around.
My extremely lovely vocalists were continually muttering incoherently, so much so that I was unable to compose words--not that they were needed--and the whole room sounded like animals. They forced me onto the bed when they got tired of standing, and Brian put his dick into my mouth. Nick stuck his penis up my behind. Rob was sucking my cock in the middle.
I reached over and touched Rob's dick, feeling its thickness and squeezing it in my fist.
Brian and Rob took turns switching places so that Rob could insert his dick into my mouth and fuck it.
Brian got out of bed and approached Nick from behind. My partner, with a seductive face, dropped to his knees to pursue Nick's adorable posterior, which was still thumping his lover's asshole. Brian spread his twitchy cheeks upon viewing the reward, placing his palms there and sticking his tongue inside Nick's rosebud to sample his best friend's delicious ass.
All I could do was lie there as Rob continued to fuck my mouth, feeling the extra weight on my ass as Brian entered Nick's ass and started pounding away, pushing Nick's dick farther into my ass. I heard Nick and Brian sharing a passionate kiss.
We divided up into pairs. Nick and Brian shifted to positions six and nine, respectively, while Rob took his dick out of my mouth, aligned it with my rosebud, and proceeded to pound the living daylights out of my behind. While my lips brushed against his. The music of sex flooded the room. Rob unwillingly gave me my ass so Brian could take over, but as Nick handed him his ass, Rob's annoyance vanished.
After Rob leaned over and planted his dick in Nick's ass, there was a rapid chorus of groans around the room.
"Oh, my Love, here I come with my love for you!" Brian exploded into my love tube, his handsome face contorted in a sexual release. I heard Nick and Rob get closer.
"Don't!" I begged. They seemed confused.
"Come over here and shower me in your cum!" They smiled and moved to my side when I begged them to. Rob on the one side and Nick on the other. I watched as they caressed their dicks and let out a gurgled groan that spread throughout me. Brian finished me off with that, and I started shooting my fill. Everybody collapsed into the bed. We were content and utterly exhausted.
"This is how we are supposed to have fun in Hawaii," Nick said with a long breath out. Brian sighed with relief as we all tried to catch our breath.
"It's definitely my preference to see the eruptions from Mounts Carter, Thomas, and Littrell," I said, rubbing my hands together.
Rob smiled broadly. Rob moved in to give me a kiss and said, "I was hoping we'd have fun. "I'm pleased my trip was canceled."
"Don't expect this to be normal," Brian imposed, crawling between them and onto myself.
Brian stepped in between the two of us and stated, "I was supercharged, but this is my man." Both of them gave me a sign of approval. Before taking a shower, though, we started to lick clean each other's penises and make a daisy chain, with me putting Nick's dick back in my mouth and Brian putting Rob's dick back in his. Rob climbed back on my dick, but Nick grabbed Brian's and ate it. We were sucking on a dick and, unable to stop ourselves, we each inserted a finger up a hole, filling the room with loud moans once again. Before we were able to take a shower, we shot each other one more load.
Brian's new phone rang as soon as we were out of the shower, Brian picked it up, "Hello, Hey Kev."
My hearing picked up Kevin's voice when he knowingly said, "I hope you four had fun but they want us down at the arena."
Brian blushed, saying, "We did have fun."
my love quickly recovered, "Okay, Kev, we will be there," hanging up. The four of us quickly got dressed.
When we rendezvoused with Kevin, Howie, and AJ, my goofy friend had a huge smile on his face.
"You four are most definitely making good use of this trip," AJ teased in good humor
The fun we all had was needed because behind that door was a stage that the Backstreet Boys were supposed to perform on but because of a volcanic performance, it was trashed by people who needed a place of refuge. When we went inside, it looked pretty much the same as before. Except that it looks like some cleanup was attempted. The place needed some monumental help.
Stacy's gaze landed on me, a blend of enthusiasm and anxiety in her eyes as she conveyed the higher-up's response. "Johnny was over the moon hearing about your push to fulfill our concert commitment," she began, the energy palpable in her voice. Her expression sobered as she continued, "However, I had to bring him back to earth about the state of this venue--it's taken quite the beating." Her words painted a realistic picture in stark contrast with our determination, grounding us all in the reality of the venue's condition upon our collective arrival.
As Stacy's attention remained diverted, I seized the moment for a bit of feline stealth, slipping quietly towards the fire alarm. Under my breath, I murmured a justification for the impending mischief, "Desperate times call for desperate measures, even if they skirt the edge of legality."
Brian and Kevin observed my clandestine movements with wary eyes, tension coating the air. As my hand hovered near the fire alarm, poised to pull the alarm, Kevin leaned over to Brian. They murmured in a hushed tone laced with both concern and a hint of admiration, "What's going through that man's mind?"
Brian, trusting in my unconventional tactics, reassured Kevin with a slight nod and a knowing grin, "Let's just go with it; Mike's probably trying to clear the area for a reason."
Without further hesitation, I triggered the alarm, sending pulsating lights and blaring sirens reverberating throughout the building.
Stacy, caught off guard but decisive, took command instantly. "Everyone out!" she barked, her authoritative tone shepherding the staff into swift action as they began the evacuation.
Nick caught Brian's eyes amidst the commotion, a wry smile playing on his lips. "Well, isn't that a coinkydink?" he remarked with an arched eyebrow, both acknowledging my audacity and appreciating its timely convenience.
I waited until everyone had left the area; the fire department would arrive shortly to silence the alarms. A gust of wind formed around me as I said, "I am going to have to do this in a pinch." As I took to the air, flying past, broken chairs and damaged arena debris were picked up in my wake. I would spin in certain areas and my mini whirlwinds picked up more garbage.
Fortunate memories of Cap's impromptu repair missions served as inspiration for my current task. Drawing upon those instances, I mirrored the ingenuity required to mend on a moment's whim. Alighting on the battered stage, I channeled that same spontaneous precision.
As my feet touched down, the whirlwinds that I had conjured unfurled with practiced grace, dispersing their collected burdens. Paper, cans, and bottles spiraled into orderly piles, each stack meticulously arranged for recycling. Meanwhile, the debris that comprised true waste settled into trash receptacles, transforming the disarray into a semblance of order, ready for proper disposal. This efficient orchestration of trash and treasure alike promised a quicker return to normalcy for the venue that had witnessed so much.
The sound of the outer door swinging open met my ears just as I hoisted a chair, wrench in hand, attending to the final touches of impromptu repairs.
By the time the firefighters arrived in the arena to conduct their safety sweep, I had righted the chair, adopting a pose of casual innocence. "Hello, fellas," I greeted them warmly. "I can assure you there's been no fire. Some joker decided it would be funny to trigger the alarm. I tried to catch him, but he disappeared--just vanished into thin air," I explained with a shrug, my face a picture of mock frustration.
Somewhat bewildered yet finding no evidence of a fire, the firemen gave the all-clear, allowing everyone to re-enter the premises.
One by one, the arena staff, Stacy, and the rest of the support team for the Backstreet Boys began to stream back into the building. Close behind, the members of the band themselves stepped over the threshold, their expressions a mix of relief and curiosity as they returned to the surprisingly restored venue.
As the group absorbed the sight of the unexpectedly refurbished arena, a stunned silence gave way to audible gasps and incredulous murmurs. A stagehand broke the silence with an astounded shout, "What the hell?"
I couldn't help but respond with a grin. "I just figured the place could use a bit of tidying up so the Backstreet Boys can weave their magic," I quipped, sliding the last chair into its rightful position.
The crew's astonishment only grew when they observed the extent of the clean-up effort. Their faces registered a mixture of disbelief and admiration as they looked around at the transformed space.
Catching Brian's thankful smile, I knew the gesture had been well received. The other members of the band shared similar expressions of gratitude, their relief palpable in the wake of the near calamity.
Leave it to AJ to inject a bit of his trademark dry wit into the moment. "Wow, it's almost like Mother Nature herself came in for a quick fix," he commented, the tease evident in his voice but underscored with a note of sincere amazement.
Embracing the spirit of the unexpected events that had just unfolded, I addressed the group with a nod to the demands of my double life. "That's just how this gig goes; now you've got your stage back to work your magic," I assured them.
With the clean-up completed, I rose from my task and walked over to Stacy. It was time to reconnect with the wider world and address the fallout of the day's dramatic interruptions. "Speaking of calls, have you managed to touch base with Johnny about all this?" I inquired, ready to tackle the next steps in the aftermath of Mauna Loa's unexpected disruption.
Stacy nodded, her voice steady despite the evident shock of the afternoon's events. "I'll inform Johnny of the unexpected hiccup. Somehow the concert can go on as planned," she determined, her resolve shining through the disbelief.
Before she could move to make the call, Kevin and the rest of the group gestured for a private word with me. "Mike?" they prompted their tone a blend of inquiry and camaraderie.
Defensive yet light-hearted, I responded, "Hey, I did what I could in the moment, alright?"
Kevin let out a soft laugh, affirming, "No one's questioning your quick thinking, Mike. Look around--the place is practically back to normal, which is incredible given what happened."
Realizing the gravity of their focus, I somberly addressed Kevin, "Listen, if the Earth itself seems to be rooting for your performance, it's because she's resilient. Out of disaster often come new beginnings. Just like that fresh bedrock--from devastation, we'll see growth."
I paused, reflecting on our recent journey. "Think about our hike up the volcano; all that desolation awaits a rebirth, with flora and fauna set to take it back. Nature has its cycle, like a backdrop for your own resilience as performers. You'll get back on stage, and life will find its way back on those slopes."
Navigating through the weight of recent events, I shared with them a perspective shaped by resilience, "It might seem easiest to surrender when faced with calamity, but perseverance has its own rewards. Something new always emerges."
Brian, picking up on the thread of conversation, completed the thought with a faith-steeped affirmation, "Another door opens. Jesus has continuously reminded us that hope and faith must be our anchors in trying times."
He looked at me, then at the others, a reflective seriousness in his eyes. "What you've shown us today, and what we aim to demonstrate to our fans and to the people here, is that even in the face of overwhelming adversity, there's a path forward. Our concert is more than just entertainment now--it's a symbol of hope and a testament to the strength of the human spirit."
As I nodded, affirming the wisdom in Brian's words, Stacy returned, her excitement barely contained. "Johnny's on board. We're moving ahead as planned. The announcement is being made--the show will go on," she declared.
In a rare interjection, Rob chimed in with a generous offer, "Count me in too. I've got time before my flight out--it'll be an honor to stand with you all."
Kevin didn't hesitate to embrace the gesture, "Stacy, ensure Rob gets a mention in the announcement. We're going to put on a performance that'll lift everyone's spirits," his words sparked enthusiasm among the group.
With spirits high, I turned to Brian and spoke softly, "I just need a moment, my dear, for a quick, private conversation." Brian's eyes followed my gaze to the wall where Gaia's ethereal visage materialized, her silent presence a nod to the harmony of the unfolding events.
"I won't be long," I assured him, stepping away to commune with Gaia and reflect on the serendipity that had graced us all amidst the day's trials.
Secluded in the quiet of the unused room, I sought out the counsel of Gaia, the spirit who had watched over me through turmoil and triumph. "What's on your mind, Gaia?" I inquired, the weight of the day making my voice heavy yet expectant.
As her form coalesced before me, tangible yet transcendent, Gaia's smile radiated with approval. "I came to commend you on your mastery throughout the ordeal at Mauna Loa," she said, her voice suffused with pride. "Your actions would have earned the admiration of both Captain Planet and the Planeteers."
Despite the praise, I couldn't suppress a sigh of discontent. "I just wish I had been given a heads up--forecasting these events is always the better part of valor," I grumbled, the tinge of frustration evident as I contemplated the finesse with which I might have managed matters, given a little foresight.
Gaia's question hung in the air, a gentle nudge designed to shift my perspective. "Mike, did you always know where your journey would take you when your ship was navigating the vast Pacific?"
The recollection of my time at sea surfaced, ripe with unexpected challenges and discoveries. "No, that uncertainty was part of the adventure, a chapter of my life in the Navy," I admitted, reflecting on the unpredictability I had embraced.
With a perceptive and comforting gaze, Gaia lent me her wisdom. "And so it is with your role as Earth's Champion. Life doesn't always provide a chart for every twist in your path," she counseled. "Yet, just as you were equipped to face vast, open seas, you possess all that's necessary to meet the unforeseen with courage, much like your days aboard your ship."
Her reassurance bolstered my spirit, lending me a newfound resilience. Yet, a pang of regret lingered, prompting my confession, "I just wish I could've spared Brian and the others from today's ordeal." My words carried the weight of responsibility that I, as their guardian, felt for their well-being.
Gaia acknowledged my discernment, commending my approach. "When you stood before Steve La'Tola, you held back from revealing all you knew. You had the chance to expose his denial and arrogance, armed with concrete evidence from your ties to the Earth, the advanced analytics of your subterranean base's supercomputer, and the guidance of your mentor."
Reflecting on the confrontation, I couldn't help but express my frustration. "Gaia, he was aware of the impending eruption long before I confronted him, it was a matter of when not if."
Her expression remained composed as she conceded the point. "Even so, you chose discretion over disclosure at that moment," Gaia reminded me, highlighting the delicate balance between knowledge and its revelation, a subtlety that my role as Earth's champion often required.
Gaia's observation brought me back to an earlier moment of clarity. "Yes, amidst the turmoil, you did convey the fragility of our existence to AJ, as well as the importance of respecting nature's balance. That discussion, too, was about the human inclination to sometimes ignore the signs and push against the natural order."
Facing Gaia, I absorbed the full scope of her wisdom and my place within it. With a resigned sigh, I acknowledged the boundaries of my influence. "So, what you're implying is that I, too, have constraints--there are limits to witness and guide, rather than control."
Gaia's explanation sets the context for the enduring natural processes of our planet. "What I mean to say is that it's beyond anyone's capacity to be present for every natural event, like the eruptions of Mauna Loa. Such phenomena are part of Earth's primordial rhythm, occurring since its formation billions of years ago. They are integral to the dynamic cycle that is life itself," she elucidated.
She regarded me with a kind and affirming gaze. "Mike, there's nothing amiss in your desire to shield your lover and friends from harm. Yet, your actions today transcended personal concerns. You played a part in a grander scheme."
Intrigued and somewhat perplexed, I sought clarity. "But how so? I'm not sure I follow," I asked, eager to grasp the significance she suggested lay behind my recent endeavors.
Gaia imparted her wisdom with a gentle sincerity, "Mike, you instilled belief and reignited the embers of their faith and values. In doing so, you became a beacon of hope at a time when it's desperately needed. You've illuminated the path through darkness, demonstrating that the brightest light shines from within. You reminded them of their innate strength, their connection to the Earth, and their capacity to enact positive change. You've affirmed their place in the world, the love that surrounds them, and the love they have to give. You've celebrated the sheer beauty of life, inspiring them to embrace the fullness of their existence."
"Thank you, Gaia. I'm doing the best I can," I replied, my voice low and infused with sincere gratitude for her unyielding support and sage counsel.
"We'll continue this conversation later," Gaia responded with an assuring tone. "This concert is as vital for your spirit as it is for the island. The Power is Yours," she encouraged, her presence instilling me with renewed fortitude. With those parting words, she dissipated, her essence returning to the sanctuary of Hope Island.
Leaving the solitude of the room behind, I stepped back into the heart of the arena, now a hive of frenetic activity. The staging area bustled with determined energy--technicians, stagehands, and artists alike united in a common goal. Amidst the symphony of beeping machinery, the urgent calls of crew members, and the meticulous adjustments of settings, there was a palpable shift.
Defying the day's earlier adversities, the concert was coming together--a testament to the collective spirit and determination. When tomorrow arrived and the curtains lifted, music would fill the air, not just as melodies and harmonies but as resounding anthems of resilience and hope. The performance would transcend entertainment, becoming a symbol of renewal and recovery. It would be a celebration of life, a demonstration of the community's unyielding bond, and a reminder that together, we possess the strength to surmount any obstacle. This concert would echo the enduring message: united in purpose, humanity holds the power to overcome and thrive.

Hawaiian volcanoes aren't the only things that explode, while I never said there wasn't going to be sex in my story I hope those who find them in my story get off on them. There is going to be plenty more sex to come, but they aren't the reason for this story. Hawaii is about to come to an end with only a few more chapters to go. There are still some things to come both good and bad.
