The Beauty Chapter 4 By: Suma L.
Hey. I don't know if any other authors do this, but I listen to certain music to inspire certain scenes. IE: Love scene -- Love songs. Get it? Well, from now on, I think I'll post some songs that inspired the music. If you've never heard of some of them, go ahead and try and find them online, and take a listen. So here goes from the past three chapters.
Songs That Inspire The Story Every Morning -- Sugar Ray Then The Morning Comes -- Smash Mouth (Notice a trend?) Lust For Life -- Iggy Pop Why Does It Always Rain On Me -- Travis No One Needs To Know -- Shania Twain Don't Speak -- No Doubt Save The Best For Last -- Vanessa Williams Hold Me Now & If You Were Here -- Thompson Twins I Touch Myself -- The Divinyls Sucks To Be You - Prozak
DISCLAIMER
This story isn't supposed to imply anything about the members of Nsync or anyone else involved in the story. This is all made up. In better English, IT'S NOT REAL! If you're too young in your area or it's illegal, then leave. If homosexual themes offend you then you may want to leave as well.
Chapter 4 --
The alarm buzzed annoyingly causing Justin to awaken with a groan. He looked at the clock. 'Five thirty, my god. Deja vu!' He rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. Lips suddenly touched to his cheek in a kiss.
"Good morning, baby." JC said, and then turned to kiss Justin's lips softly.
"I thought I'd dreamt us getting together." Justin said incredulously. "I'm so glad it wasn't one..."
"I'm glad to hear it." JC murmured, and then began to get out of bed to get ready.
"Josh, I don't WANNA GO TO REHEARSAL!" Justin whined loudly. "I wanna SKIP! We could just tell the guys we're gonna skip and not to tell Fatima, and we can go shopping or something. Anything but rehearse! I know my part better than anybody, and I have great timing, I don't NEED to rehearse anymore! And this early no less!"
"Justin, we can't! Fatima would have us skinned alive! Management would strangle us, and the guys would be pissed off because we didn't take them along."
"Settled then! We'll grab the other guys and go!"
"And how are we supposed to deal with Johnny, Fatima, and everyone else?"
"How come it's our lives, but we can't control them? How come we're the big stars, and we're top dog, but we can't even decide what to do? That's not fair to us, and we need a break. TODAY!"
"I don't want to say it, but you do have a point there. Still though..."
"I'll do anything, Josh, just don't make me go to rehearsal! I'm begging you!" Justin kneeled on the floor to beg, a pant leg halfway on, halfway off as he dressed himself.
"What will we tell the guys?" JC asked, finally getting dressed.
"We'll tell them to cover for us saying we're not feeling well, and that we'll be back later. Uh, after lunch or something, okay?"
"Okay, Justin. I'm going with you on this, but YOU are going to tell the guys about it, not me. I'll just come with you."
"Good! Follow me!" Justin said grabbing JC's hand and pulling him along
Chris had just gotten out of the shower when there was a quick knock at the door. "Shit!" He cried, wrapping a towel around his waist, and running to get the door.
"CHRIS!" Justin shrieked, and pushed his way into the room followed by JC. "Chris, JC and I are not going to rehearsal, and your going to tell Fatima that he and I have very bad headaches, because we got drunk last night. Add something in about JC vomiting up his liver for effect. Okay? Good." Justin spat out in one breath.
"Oh, am I?" Chris countered. "What's in it for me? Hey, and where ARE you going anyway? Why can't I come?"
"Because I said so. I'll... you can... uh... you can have my M-class."
"Justin, I could just go buy one."
"No, no, hey, have on of mine!"
"It's not gonna work, Curly."
"What's all the fuss about?" A sleepy voice asked.
All three men turned their eyes to the door where Joey stood looking very rumpled. No one questioned why he was in Lance's room. Lance soon followed behind Joey as he stepped out of the doorframe.
"You guys are being noisy. What's going on?"
"Well..." Chris said, with a mean smile on his face, "Justin and JC here are just informing me that they won't be going to rehearsal. In other words, THEY'RE SKIPPING, and they suggest that we cover for them. Now what would Fatima think of all this?"
"She won't think anything, because you're going to cover for us."
"Wrong, Curly. We're coming with you!" As soon as the words left Chris's mouth, Justin's jaw dropped.
"NO way! So not fair! It was our idea! Besides, if you come along, who's going to cover for all of us?"
"No one, we'll just be runaways for the day."
"That sounds kind of fun. I'm in." Joey said, scratching his side and yawning.
"Me too." Lance added.
"It's settled, we're all going. And where might it be that we're going?"
"To breakfast for now." Justin mumbled in defeat. His hopes of a romantic day were smashed to bits.
JC put his hand on Justin's shoulder to comfort him. "Sounds good. I'm hungry, let's go. Justin & I will go rent a car. Be ready in half an hour to get going." JC grabbed Justin's arm, and pulled him out into the hallway, shutting the hotel door behind them.
"JOSH!" Justin whined. "They're ruining our sneaking out!"
"No, shhh, its okay Justin. We'll get separate vehicles so you and I can go off on our own. It'll be okay, I promise. We'll have fun. If not, we've got all day the day after next in that lovely tour bus!"
"Shut up, or die, Josh." Justin warned.
