The Blooming of Shannon (part 1)
This story was inspired by an online friend in Scotland. I was there years ago and wish we could have met then. This fantasy describes what I wish could happen – I hope you enjoy it!

I'm an American businessman working for a multi-national investment banking firm. I've spent much of my career in our Wall Street offices in New York, with a few years in our Chicago and Los Angeles offices. The firm valued multi-national experience, so I agreed to take a few positions overseas. That's how I ended up in the Edinburgh, Scotland office. Having started in Wall Street, Edinburgh seemed like a step down, but it was a center for financial activity in the U.K., and a delightful change from the "rat race" environment common to New York City.
I had been there six months of my two year term and had become accustomed to the speech and even to driving on the other side of the road. Some people even said I was starting to speak with a Scottish accent, but I wasn't so sure. I had dealt with Scottish men before, but was really surprised to find that a woman speaking with a Scottish accent sounded incredibly sexy to me. I had been on a few dates with Scottish women, but most of all, I wanted to find a nice transgendered girl. I had dated them in the States, but had no idea how to even find them here.
One day my boss called me into his office and informed me that the firm had been invited to present a guest lecture at the University of Edinburgh, and asked if I would be interested in speaking there. Never wanting to pass up an opportunity, I agreed. He asked me to give him a few topic titles by the end of the day, to which I agreed. I did a little internet research and found that the University of Edinburgh was really ancient – founded in 1582, it was the sixth oldest English-speaking university in the world (and certainly the oldest Scottish-speaking). In my short time in Scotland I had grown to really appreciate antiquity. Coming from the modern fast-paced, high-technology world of Wall Street it was a real culture shock for me to live in a place that featured old castles, centuries-old churches many other relics of the past. I was amazed at how many pubs that were more than 500 years old! But I had really warmed up to this environment – if only I could find the right girlfriend to make it complete!
By the end of the day I had submitted six different topics. My boss liked all of them and said he would submit them to the University and they would choose. The next day he told me that the university had chosen "The Role of Investment Banking in Business Development". My presentation would be less than an hour, but would take many hours to prepare, so I got started straight away.
I finished preparing my presentation within a few weeks, and still had three weeks before the presentation date, so I reviewed and polished it over that time. While I found the topic interesting, I wondered just how many students would come to the presentation.
On the day of the presentation I arrived early and was warmly greeted. I really liked the politeness I found in Scotland – a wonderful contrast to the rudeness common in New York City. I had heard that a lot of the Scottish people were unfriendly, they seemed very nice to me. Some did confess to me that I didn't seem to be like the "typical arrogant American" that many had met in the past.
I was taken to a lecture room with hundreds of seats. My heart sank as I thought of talking to a nearly empty room. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room filling up at the starting time approached. I was given a very warm introduction by my host, and proceeded to deliver my presentation to a packed house. There was time for questions at the end, but there were more questions than time available, so my host brought our session to a close. My host led me back to the exit and apologized for having to excuse himself, as he had another pressing commitment.
On my walk back to my car I was followed by several students with additional questions. I answered the questions along the way until one boy was all that remained. He acted shy, and was a good looking boy with delicate features. He introduced himself as Shane and asked if it wouldn't be too much trouble to answer a few more questions. I agreed and he nervously tried to frame his first question, while fumbling one of his books, dropping it to the ground. Embarrased, he bent down to pick it up and I was startled to see his trousers ride down in the back as he bent down, exposing pretty red panties!
This was an incredible site and my mind raced. Fortunately it rarely took me long to decide what to do, so I said, "Shane, let's have lunch together, so we have plenty of time for your questions."
Shane quickly agreed and we walked to my car. I told him that we would go to a restaurant in town instead of the student cafeteria, where it would be quieter. We arrived and were seated.
As we ate lunch I answered all of Shane's questions, and finally got to the topic that was on my mind – the panties.
"When you bent over to pick up your book I couldn't help but notice the pretty panties you are wearing," I said.
Shane became speechless and turned red with embarrassment. I took one of his hands in mine and said, "it's alright – I really like that."
"It's a very private thing," Shane said, "something that has been a secret until now."
"Your secret is safe with me," I continued, "and I would like to encourage you. If you trust me, you won't be disappointed."
Shane brought his other hand to mine. I clasped both of his hands in mine and looked into his pretty face. He had fine brown hair, almost shoulder length and pretty hazel eyes. I could see that he had the potential to "femme up" very nicely.
I asked him if wore more than just panties and he said it did, but only in his room. I told him I would really like to see more and he invited me to come back to his dorm room for a bit, since his next class was later in the afternoon.
We drove back to the University and Shane took me to his room. I was surprised to find that he had the room to himself. Most students had to share a room. He told me that this was the first semester in which he could dress, since he would never risk it in a shared room.
Shane opened his closet and showed me some pretty dresses, and opened a drawer to reveal some lacy undergarments. "Please choose something you would wear if you were going out on a date with me," I said.
Shane seemed very nervous, so I asked if it would be better if I left and came back later. He agreed and I said I would be back in an hour.
Upon my return I found a stunningly lovely girl. A touch of lipstick and other makeup turned her delicate features into magnificent feminine beauty!
I took her in my arms and held her and then kissed her on her ear, her neck, then on her cheek. "What is your name, dear?" I asked.
"Shannon," she replied.
"I'm really glad to meet you, Shannon," I said.
