Chapter 5- The Start of the Ending
The game's just getting set up and the other just got here, so there were no customers at the candy area.
They're probably waiting for the game to almost begin so they can crowd the lines. Happens at football games all the time. Anyways...I sat in the chair bored as hell while Jason stares at Josh benchwarm for the team. I just wonder why didn't he join the team if he liked it so much?
Jason sighed more than I ever did in my whole entire life time. "Um...hello Jason? Staring isn't too good for your health."
He turned his head smiling, "But damn...he has such a nice ass."
I rolled my eyes, but I smiled, because it was so cute how he was crushing over Josh like that. Maybe I should help him out a little. I was feeling really good today.
"Hey Josh!" I yelled over at the field.
He turned his head to the direction of the voice. "What?" he shouted back.
"Come here!" I said gesturing him to come over.
He started running toward us and Jason immediately awoke from his daydream, "What the fuck Noah? Why did you call him over here?"
I smiled, "Because I'm helping you get Josh, I'm kind of getting tired of your obsessive daydream about how he would fuck or something like that."
"No I don't... Well, maybe I do but still," he replied. "I'll do it on my own ti-,"
he added but interrupted when Josh finally came to our table.
"Hey guys, what do ya need?" he said breathing from all that running.
"Hi Josh, doing okay out there?" Jason asked randomly, his cheeks turning red.
Thank god it was somewhat hot out today or his blushing would have been a dead giveaway.
"That's what you wanted to ask? Well I'm doing okay, hope we win today," Josh replied.
"I assume that's not all you wanted to ask me?"
"Oh well, I just wanted to see you're open to going to the movies with me and Jason tomorrow?" I answered, thinking of this as I go along. "Right Jason?" I also put in, looking Jason hinting him to say yes.
"Uh...yeah!"
Jason said loudly when I purposely stepped on his left foot. Thankfully there was a table in front of us. "We're going to see Water For Elephants," he also included, thinking on his feet. Good, he was going along with the idea.
"So we wanted if you would like to come. Do you?" I said.
He raised an eyebrow, "Okay? Um...yeah. Is that all?"
I looked over Jason, who almost looked like he was pleading for Josh to say yes.
I hope Josh didn't see through Jason's obvious look.
"Well it's set then. We're going to the movies then!" I said excitedly, already finished think of my plan for Jason and Josh's first date or whatever you want to call it.
"Okay so I'm going to get back the guy on the fields. Yeah, you guys sell those dick-size candy bars you call Twix, Snickers, and Milky Way," Josh said, adding his sense of humor, which was funny in a way.
"Lol.
Wow, get back to your games then," I said, seeing him take off to the fields.
After Josh was out of hearing range, Jason shoved me down to the chair as he sat down too.
He looked at me seriously in the eye, "What are you planning?"
"It's pretty, so hear me out. Tomorrow, we're going to the movies, but I'm not going to the movies with you guys," I said, speaking my plan.
"Huh?
What do you not go with us? You told him you were coming," Jason spoke, looking confused.
"I'm not coming with you guys because Bryan's family assumingly going to come over to my house and want to celebrate his victory with my Dad, so that means I can't go. I'll say I didn't know that they were coming over," I explained.
"How is that going to help, he'll just cancel it. He doesn't want to go if you don't," he said, looking down.
"No cause when he asks to cancel it, I'll say that I already had ready and got the tickets so he can't refuse. He will just have to go with you."
He looked happy for a moment, but a look of sadness swept over his face. "What if he finds a way to get out the date?"
I grabbed his shoulders with my left hand, "Don't worry, I'll make sure he goes with you. I have a way with my words you know?"
"Thanks Noah, I would of never thought of that. You think pretty smart for someone who gets their brains fucked out every night by their boyfriend," Jason said jokingly. Josh's humor is rubbing off on Jason which was pretty good for him.
I blushed a little. "Well, he does fuck my brains out but we don't do it every night."
"Well thanks though anyway. You are a good friend," he replied back, his smiling coming back.
"Your welcome. No problem, I'm always here to help you buddy," I said back.
Then customers up to us forming a line, as the other stands were too. I was happy that the game was about to start. I hope the team wins, I was rooting for Mikey and my Bryan.
- Bryan's Point of View
Shit the game was about to start in twenty minutes. My heart was pounding, hard. I love baseball and of course, Noah. Who wouldn't? They're the greatest things to me on Earth. First, baseball was a great sport which kept me thinking and athletic. Also keeps my parents happy too. Second and most important thing in my life, Noah. God, there has no day when I don't think about him. He's the cutest, most loving boyfriend I've ever had. Well, the only one I've ever had that is. He treats me like royalty and gentleness. He does all the work when I don't feel like it in bed. He does everything in bed like no one else does. Like he's every gay guys' fantasy. Not only is he a great piece of ass to fuck, but cares about me on an emotional level. I loved how he cared about me so much. I get as much ass from and other guys.
See, Noah doesn't know I fuck other guys on the side. I mean, when I see a cute guy, I dive right in. Noah doesn't anything and he's pretty clueless about it. I've fucked a lot till the point I can't count anymore. I know Noah doesn't believe in open relationships, swingers, or cheating, but I can't help it. I know I could have broke up with him if I was seeing other guys on the side. But I just can't leave a good fuck like him. It's not like he knows that I see other guys on the side. I love him but I love being able to see other guys too. It's not like I don't get enough or he's not enough, I just don't want to be tied down. So yeah I sleep with hundreds of other guys though, making sure none of them has any connection with Noah or anyone who might tell him. I also make sure Noah is busy when I go to meet those guys. I'm smart, so he's not going to find out unless I tell him.
I'm also not stopping my cheating either. Why stop when you know you can get away with it the first time.
The only guys I will and never sleep with is the ones in our group. Mikey is straight and also dedicated as Ali's boyfriend and of course Ali is Noah's close secret buddies. Plus he's on the baseball team with me, so that makes things harder. He's cute though, but no.
Don't even get me started on Josh, I mean he's hot and all, but what fuck? He's a fucking virgin! He shouldn't be. I would love to fuck his ass, looks pretty nice. But the downfall is that he's Noah's best best friend. They don't keep secrets and also Josh is straightforward too. Sadly, I can't have him and he's gay too! Jason is not cute in my eyes, I don't even know why he's even hanging out with us. He's ugly, scrawny, and pale-faced. Anyway, I would never put my dick on that. He was also Noah's close buddy.
I've recently cheated on Noah the day I had practice. I met this guy, Eric at the gas station and damn did he have a fine ass! He's in college and shit so that made him even hotter. We went to his apartment and fuck there. It was awesome. Noah was at home that day so he didn't know. No one did. When Mom or Dad text me to ask me where I'm at, I tell them we have extended practice or went eating with the guys on the team. I know exactly what to say when they get suspicious. Of course Evan doesn't say anything because he's too busy ridiculing me or talking shit. Like I care.
Anyways, as I went to the table to get a cup of Gatorade, a guy came up next to me. He was from the other teams because our shirts were navy blue and theirs are red. The teams decided it would be best if they just put all the drinks on one table. So theirs were on our table with ours. He was tall, same height as me.
He turned his head towards me. "Oh didn't see you there. So you're on the other team right?" Shit! He was fucking hot! He had tanned skin like me, probably a little darker. Light brown eyes, so cute. He was skinny like Noah with jet black hair. He was hot, maybe he's gay.
"It's okay. And of course I'm on the other team. We have different color shirts," I said, turning on my flirting/pretty boy look. I almost always get any gay guy to sleep with me because I'm hot, tall, and sexy. Who wouldn't sleep with me?
He laughed, "I know." It was so cute the way he laughed.
I smiled my crooked smile. "So you ready for the game today?"
He started walking aimlessly across the field, the game hasn't begun yet. I follow next to him. "Yeah, I hope so.
If we lose we won't be too sad. It would be nice to win, but we're going to do our best," he replied, taking looks at me sideways. Scanning my nice body.
"So I'm going to assume that you don't care about the game?" I asked, trying to get him to look at me, so I stop.
As predicted, he stopped too. "No I wanna win. Just not as competitive as others are." He looked up at me, he smiled when he met my eyes.
"That's cool. It's about the experience, not the win right?" I said, not letting my eyes leave his.
He blushed. Yep, he's likes boys.
"So do you do that smile to every guy you hit on?"
I chuckled, gotcha. "I guess, but I'm a faithful type. I don't mess around like that."
He looked away, smiling wide. "Well, you are cute. The games about to begin so I'll just leave you my number," he said, running over to his side of the dugout and into his stuff. I look around for Mikey, looks like he's too busy talking to the other guys on the team.
The cute guy comes back with a Sharpie marker in his hand. "Here's my number," he said as he wrote his number on my hand. I have to make sure that I hide the number from Noah.
I looked at the number, I already memorized it. "Thanks, call you tomorrow?" I said as put my hand in my pocket, no need to make it obvious.
"I'm gonna get back to my team. You call me tomorrow?" he said as he headed back to the dugout with his team waiting there.
I realized I didn't get his name.
"Hey," I said to him before he started walking.
"What?"
"I didn't get your name. Mine's Bryan."
"Leo. Call then Bryan," he starts walking again. Damn, he has such a nice ass. Nicer than Noah's. I'm definitely going to tap that. Those legs and ass... Shit, boys just come to me like flies.
I shook off my daydream quickly and headed back to the team. They were huddled up like a football team does. I decided to join.
"Hey come on, we're talking," Mikey poked his head out the circle. He or anyone didn't see anything.
Coast is clear. I'm that good.
*Back to Noah's Point of View
I looked over at the field and saw Bryan. I was happy to be with him. He's such a great guy. I don't think he'd ever do anything that would hurt me in any way. I loved him for that. He looked so cute in his uniform. They were in huddle, so they probably were prepping themselves for the game. I was excited for them, I wanted them to win. So Bryan can be in a good mood tonight. When he's in a sad or bad mood he doesn't get in the mood to fuck and I pretty much want that today. I was feeling pretty horny, so yeah.
The lines for the candy was pretty long, both Jason and mine's were fairly long. Unlike ours, Ali's stand was extremely long and busy. They were rushing. Jason and I were going as fast as we can. The customers were so excited about the game. They were literally rushing us to go faster because the game was about to begin.
"Damn the games about to begin," I said to Jason, while handing the Skittles to the customer in front of me. "Here you go ma'am. Have a nice day." She thank me and then left with the next customer coming up.
"I know dude, I'm on my last customer right now," Jason replied, handing a bag of gummy worms to the last customer. Then goes sits down to count the money to count the cash he collected.
I looked at my line, then were only two people left. Time flies by pretty quick. As I handed the last customer their desired candy, the last person I wanted to see walked up to me.
Of course it was Evan. Who else would it be? I swiftly see Jason stir in his seat from seeing Evan. He took Evan's bullying more to heart than I do.
He's just not used to it yet.
I faced him as he stood there with a five dollar bill in his hand. "Um...hey, I want Skittles, Starburst, Gummy Bears, Snickers, and Twix," he said, not really looking directly at me. He acted as if he didn't want to look me in the eyes. I was expecting for him to say, something stupid like, "you fag" or "I don't food that's from fags", but none of that came out of his mouth.
"That'll be five dollars," I said as neutral as possible. Then he handed me the five dollar bill, in which I grab. As I was pulling away to put the money in the cash box, his hand brushed against mine as he grabbed a bad of gummy bears. I immediately pulled my hand back, nervous of what he might say about the slight touch. I noticed that he was still wearing the necklace from the bathroom. You couldn't tell from a somewhat far away distance from him, but I already seen it in the shower. I try my best to keep a straight face. I looked over to the side, not looking at his necklace.
I was ready for a complete insult, but he said something different. "Thanks for the candy Noah," he finally said awkwardly. Then he walked away with the candy in his hands.
"Your welcome," I replied as he was walking away. I'm pretty sure he heard.I just stared at Evan until Jason diverted my attention away from.
"So Noah," Jason spoke, "how much money did you make on your side?" He probably didn't want to talk about Evan, so I just left him be.
I sat down and started to count with my mind somewhat unfocused. It was on Evan and the weird behavior he's been showing lately. I've also notice that he didn't corner me today in school.
Strange... What's weirder is that necklace. What is in that necklace?
As if breaking out of a trance, Jason asked if I finished counting. He made more money on his side. He was surfing the internet as I looked at Evan on the stands. He's alone, no douche bags friends around. So why was he here alone? He could care less about me or Bryan.
He's getting stranger by the moment. Then I heard the whistle sound as the game began.
"Umm...were you uncomfortable when Evan came around?" I asked.
He turned uneasily in his chair.
"Um, sort of. I'm really surprised he didn't say anything. You know him, he's always got insults or something to say."
"Well, maybe he's tired of making fun of us," I replied half-heartedly.
"Yeah right. Like Evan Lane is ever going to stop torturing us," Jason coldly responded.
"Your probably right. He might be thinking of his next cruel move towards us."
"Well, maybe he realizes he's a fag, which would seriously fun because he's the straightest guy around here. He's fucked probably any girl who's willing to spread her legs for him," he implied.
I sat there and pondered on this.
What if Evan realizes that he's confused with his sexuality? But then why would he realize it now? It would explain that necklace, but still... Jason's right, he's the straightest guy in school. If he is, he's not telling then. My head was wrapped around possibilities, so I just changed the focus to something else other than Evan's strange behavior.
"Um...yeah. So how's classes Jas?" I said, attempting to change the subject.
"Um...good I guess. You?" he replied, looking confused at my change in subject.
"Great," I said, running out of topics to talk about.
Then Ali came over. "Hey guys how did it go?" she asked, saving the conversation.
I smiled, "Great."
"I made more money than Noah," Jason said.
I chuckled a little at the remark.
"So how was your food stand going?"
"Horrible. I've never seen so much people in my whole entire life time. Some were rude too. Assholes...anyways, we made a lot of money. Let's say that," Ali answered tiredly, fixing her hair in place with a hair tie.
"Really, how much?" Jason asked.
Ali pulled up a chair that held the cashbox, she just sat with the box on her lap. "Well, enough to put into Homecoming.
That's going hell."
"I know, remember last year?" I said, remembering that the student ran out of beer for the drunken bastards and the food section was literally emptied. It was savage when it was all over.
"Don't remind me. The whole student had to help the janitors with everything. Let's say that the bathrooms had things that a girl shouldn't see," Ali said, cringing at the memory.
"What? Like unflushed toilets?"
Jason asked leaning in closer obviously interested in this conversation, since he didn't go to Homecoming last year.
"Let me tell Jas, there was used pads stuck on the walls of the girl's bathroom, tampons clogged in the toilets, and used condoms in the boy's bathroom. It was gross. Like a horrible picture.
I swear the janitors do a horrible job at cleaning the bathrooms. It looks like the place hasn't been changed in a hundred years," Ali explained, rolling her eyes to the gross details.
"Yikes, it was that bad?" Jason said, with eyes wide open.
"Yes, it was that bad," Ali and I said in unison.
"I was there with her, peeling off seventeen pads off the walls. I think people did it on purpose to piss us off,"
I added.
"Gross, people are just so gross when it comes to using public bathrooms," Jason said, rolling his eyes in disgust.
"I know, it was horrible. Now the janitors do extra time and really scrub the floors," Ali replied, texting her mom from my point of view.
"Let's not talk about condoms and pads? Let's enjoy the game. Ok?" I finally said, concentrated on the game now.
"Kay," they said watching the game with me.
After the teams making equal amounts of wins, it came down to Mikey's swing at the bat. It was like everyone stopped breathing as if the game winning depended on their lives. The pitcher was about to throw and Mikey tighten his grip, getting ready to swing. He was ready for the shot. Ali was gripping my hand really hard, she really wanted him to win.
Well, who doesn't want their boyfriend to win?
The pitcher was a kid with jet black hair, which looked styled under the red cap he was wearing. He was taller than me, probably about Bryan's height. He didn't really look into the whole game, like he was thinking about something else.
Being sidetracked by something else is probably going affect his throwing abilities. Well, whatever helps our team right? Then he threw the ball.
Everyone stood who was watching the game stood up, the people on bleachers and the rest of our team, the student council, Jason, Ali and hell even me. The ball came into contact with the bat as Mikey swung his bat. The hit made a cracking noise like thunder, like in Twilight. Only this wasn't as dramatic. I watched as the ball flew in the air and landed on the grass as the members of the other team quickly try to retrieve the ball, but Mikey was already at third base. He was a really fast runner--due to his lanky long legs.
Mikey made a homerun as one of the other team's players threw the ball to their third base men. He made a homerun! Everyone on our side of the bleachers jumped in excitement. Ali was literally having a hyper-overexcited-joy-dance, which was pretty funny. All the other members on our team lifted Mikey in the air to praise him for their victory. I was smiling because our team, so Ali, Jason and I walked over to the team.
Ali practically jumped on Mikey, sending him to the ground kissing him everywhere on his face. He is going some tonight, I thought to myself. Jason ran over to Josh as expected, to talk about the events of the game or something. I looked and saw Bryan walking to me in happy mood. What the hell? I jump on him too, but he didn't fall like Mikey. Instead he caught me and balanced himself. Damn, he was pretty strong. I kissed him on the lips and hugged him deeply.
"You did great sweetie!" I said as I let go of him.
"Thanks go to Mikey, he got the winning hit," he said looking over at something in the crowd of people.
"What are you looking for Bryan?" I asked, looking to see what he was looking for.
"Oh nothing, just looking for...my parents," he said, turning in front of me and looking in the other direction.
What was he looking at in the crowd?
"There's my parents coming," Bryan said as I turned around to face them.
"Yes! The team won!" I heard his dad yell as he and his wife approached us.
"I'm proud of you baby sweetheart!" Mrs. Lane said as she hugged her son.
"Thanks Mom, Dad. It was a great game," Bryan said, hugging his Dad now.
"We're both proud of you son," Mr. Lane spoke, putting his arm around his wife. "We should go eat. We should all go eat!!!!" he shouted out loudly for everyone on the baseball team to hear. They all shouted agreeing to go.
"Where should we eat sweetie if we're bringing the whole team and those who want to come? Surely somewhere big enough and going to put a dent in our money," Mrs.
Lane said, being sarcastic about the money cost. Their family was completely loaded with cash.
"How bout a Steve's Pizza Parlor?" Bryan said, making a nice idea.
"That's great! There's enough to go around and everyone loves pizza on the team, so that's a really good idea. Everyone!" Mr. Lane shouted even louder, which caught everyone's attention. "Over at Steve's Pizza Parlor! Houses on us!" he added. He was such in a good mood.
"Okay let's go!" Bryan said as everyone agreed to go and started to get together to leave.
"Noah, I'll ride with Josh!" I heard as Jason came running towards me with Josh behind him.
"Yeah he's coming with me and I'm assuming you're riding with Bryan?" Josh said coming up.
Yeah, he came with parents today so he decided not to bring his car, so I'm riding with him and his parents. Of course you ride with Josh, there's more space in there and plus Mr. Lane talks a lot," I answered.
"Alright! Thanks Noah! See you there!" Jason and Josh said as they ran to the parking lot. Jason was getting smarter at getting close with Josh. He's getting out of his shell slower. He's making bolder moves. I was proud of him.
Then Ali and Mikey ran up me a few minutes later, happy and giddy.
"Crap, did Josh and Jason's car leave already? Crap!" Ali said as I turn to see Josh's car not there anymore.
"What do you guys need?" I asked, smiling.
"Noah we need your car, cause my mom brought me and Mikey here and she left to work already. Since Josh and Jason already left, we have no other ride. I don't want to bug my mom to get off of work to come pick me and Mikey up. Plus you're probably going with Bryan right?" Ali said. I didn't realize that I brought my car, but I guess I could lend them my car. That way I could ride with Bryan and not have to worry about not having a car to drive in. Plus they're my friends, so of course I was going to help them.
I fished my keys out my pockets. "Here," I said as I tossed my car keys to Mikey.
"I need my car tomorrow though kay?"
"We know, we'll have it returned first thing in the morning," Mikey replied, catching the keys.
"Thanks darling," Ali said as she kiss me on the cheek and then ran to parking lot with Mikey. Those crazy kids.
I walked to Mr. Lane and Mrs. Lane who was letting the people who didn't hear about the victory dinner thing. Bryan was standing with them, waiting for them to go. I ran up to them as they started to walk to the parking lot.
"Let's go!" Mr. Lane said happily as we headed towards their car. Then he stopped and turned to me and Bryan. "Shit, I forgot! We won't have enough seat in the car Noah. The Lynchs are coming with us because we drove them here to see Ted. And with Ted and Bryan in the car along them, it'll be tight so I don't want to make you uncomfortable by putting you between the tight spots and the car is fairly small too. So is there any other friends you can ride with? Did you come in your car?" Mr. Lane said, worried that I didn't have a ride, which I didn't.
If I had known that, I would of rode in my car or Josh's car. But I let them go and then gave my car to Ali thinking that I would ride with Bryan and his parents. Crap there's no space and I didn't like uncomfortable spaces. I quickly looked to see if Ali and Mikey left and of course they did. Shit, who am I going to ride with? Everyone's almost gone.
Then I saw Evan's car, he was still here so there still is someone who I can catch a ride with. I could of call or text Ali or Josh to come back, but this was my chance. My chance to examine Evan even closer. I wanted to talk to him privately. I wanted answers and this maybe my only chance with him to ask. This was a good excuse too. I know Bryan would like this, but he's already in his parent's car talking to Ted so he won't know till Mr. Lane tells him.
Hopefully, this works out like I want to.
I turned back to Mr. Lane, who was awaiting my answer. "Um not really and I let one of my friends borrow my car so I don't have a ride," I said, seeing Evan walk up to us. "But I can ride with Evan here." Evan turned to look at me in confusion.
"Of course Evan's car has space in it. Evan son, can Noah ride with you to the Steve's Pizza Parlor?" Mr. Lane asked. Mr. Lane's asking made it harder for Evan to say no.
He sighed and looked in the direction of his car. "Alright," he said. Yes! Okay, let's play it cool.
"Thanks son," Mr. Lane said, patting Evan on the shoulder. "Meet you guys there!"
"Meet you there too! Mr. Lane as Evan and I walked towards his car.
"Thanks Evan, the car was really crowded," I thanked him, as I went over to the passenger side.
"Yeah, whatever. I don't care. I got space in my car anyway. Get in," he said in a tired, stressed voice. He looked like he didn't care or just seem to have something on his mind. I was thinking he would get mad or something. As I expected, he didn't.So something about him changed or happened to him and I'm about to find out.
I opened the door and got it, ready for to find the truth from Evan.
I'm happy for the response and great feedbacks I've been getting from my fans. As this story progresses with the secrets of Bryan, Jason's crush, and Noah's curiosity about Evan's behavior, I will consider about making another story after I'm finished with this story. I've already made the decision that the story will be directly connected with The Choices.
So, hearing all of this, I want to know what's your idea of the next story I should write about or which character should I continue on. Remember, I'm just planning for it, so don't expect the story to be written till I'm all done writing this story. So if you have ideas, send it to me at kennijason@gmail.comor at xokennyvoxo@yahoo.com
Thank you guys for reading!!!!! More chapters coming up!
