CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: A DUBIOUS OCCURRENCE
BEAR'S POV
It had been a few weeks since I'd first seen Prue and I already couldn't imagine my life without her. Alicia and my mother were blowing up my phone with pics of her. I was happy to see them from my mother, less happy to get them from Alicia.
Trey did make sure that I apologized to my mother. She was quick to get over it after learning that I was over being a bad father. She and Trey winked conspiratorially and I tried to ignore what that was.
I spent all Spring Break doing things with Prue and trying to get Trey to go along with. He went a few times but was more insistent that I spend this alone with my daughter. I loved saying that by the way and I can't even imagine not saying it. It made me have deep regret over the way I'd handled things after finding out about her.
My mother and Trey had been right in their own ways of forcing me to wake up and stop being an idiot. Trey told me I should thank Calvin of all people for him waking up and making the right decision so I did thank him by giving him a signed jersey from our team who'd been division champs. It was signed by the whole team.
I know things were going well but I wasn't blind to the fact that Trey was struggling with his decision about Prue, among other things. I tried to make things easier on him, at least in regards to Prue by not talking about her around him. That didn't last long and he told me I was being a jackass by trying to hide my happiness about Prue from him.
I stopped after that and he made more of an effort to spend time with us, but as I said, he was more insistent that it be mostly daddy-daughter time which I could accept and appreciate. I knew he was trying and I loved him for loving me and my daughter enough to make such a sacrifice for me, for us.
It wasn't just Prue time all the time though. I seemed to run into Mike more and more and I finally decided to have a proper meeting with the dude as it seemed we were destined to be friends.
We had lunch the first time about a week or so after Prue truly entered my life. I found out that he was a graduate student in his final year from earning his bachelor's degree in communications. I teased him that his look conflicted with his chosen field of study. He asked me if I thought the same about Trey. I started to get offended for him until I figured he meant his hair. I cooled a bit and just said "touché". Besides, I loved Trey's hair.
Now, where Trey was an expert at times hiding his feelings, he was not at all adept about hiding how much he didn't like Mike. He pretended to his face but I could tell that he wasn't genuine. Mike may not have noticed but I did as I knew how he truly acted when he liked someone.
I talked to him about it and he tried to deny it at first but then admitted that there was just something about him that raised his suspicions. He promised to try to get to know him which is what we were doing today. Trey and I were meeting Mike at an outdoor café that he liked.
"Where is he? I have work I could be doing," Trey said as he looked at his watch. I knew that but that's exactly what this was about, well one of the things this lunch was about.
He was getting overworked again and I wanted to get him to take a breather. He had gotten so tired a few days ago that he accidentally closed his truck door on his thumb. It wasn't too bad but I totally freaked out when Miriam had called me. So yeah, I wanted him to take a break.
"He'll be here. Unlike us kids, he does have a job as well as going to school," I said and Trey responded by rolling his eyes.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. I had to run an errand for my boss that took longer than intended," Mike said as he arrived and took a seat. He looked beat.
"What happened?" I asked while Trey looked mostly uninterested.
"I had to practically run all over town looking for something for my boss that he is supposed to be getting for his own wife," he said sounding exasperated before mumbling "breeders" under his breath. He may not have intended us to hear it but I did and Trey did too as he looked at me.
"What did you say?" I asked as maybe he hadn't said it. It was a word that gay people usually used to refer to straight people. Until this point, Mike hadn't given me any indication that he might be gay and my so-called gaydar wasn't telling me anything. Maybe it didn't work for me because I was Bi.
"Like what?" He asked looking confused. Trey and I looked at each other again.
"It's nothing," I said choosing to let it go. I should have known that Trey wouldn't though.
"So, Mike, tell me about yourself," he said sounding so innocent. I saw through him though.
"What do you wanna know?" Mike asked sounding a bit apprehensive.
"I don't know. How about if you're dating anybody for starters," Trey said before taking a sip of his water. I had to admire how smooth he'd done it. Like he wasn't up to anything.
"Uh, nope. Not dating anyone," he said giving no further indication what team he played for. I guess we shouldn't have been so curious. It was none of our business if he was straight or gay or anything else unless he wanted us to know.
"I find that highly unlikely. A good, looking guy like yourself has nobody in his life," Trey said and while I thought he should butt out, I would've had better luck trying to put a bull in a tutu than to discourage Trey when he was on a track about something.
"No, nobody special in my life right now," Mike said before his head dropped. I noticed something in his eyes though before his eyes closed that looked like sadness.
"Trey, I think we should change the subject," I said and he looked at me for a solid minute before I saw in his eyes that he would back off.
"So, what are your plans after you get your Bachelor's degree?" Trey asked, and I gave a gentle squeeze of his knee in appreciation for changing the subject.
"I'm gay," Mike said out of the blue.
"Well, that's certainly an interesting job for a communications major," I joked and Trey snorted out a laugh.
"I know that's what you were angling at," he said as he looked at Trey.
"It's none of my business," Trey said and again I appreciated how he was restraining himself.
"It's fine. I don't have a problem with you two knowing. It's just that I don't talk about it much with anybody except my cousin and," he said before stopping and dropping his head again.
"Hey man, it's fine. We get it," I said as I reached over and laid my hand on his on the table. I looked at Trey and he was looking at me with a raised eyebrow but chose not to reply.
"You don't have to talk about anything that you don't want to," Trey said and I was surprised but grateful. I had no idea why I was so protective of Mike but I felt like he had experienced something bad in his life.
"It's fine, now where is the service around here?" he said before picking up his menu. I was surprised at the quick mood change.
It was like the wait staff were waiting until he said this because that's when our waiter came to take our order and apologized for the long wait. I ordered a club sandwich with home fries; Trey got a double stuffed roast beef sandwich with home fries. I snickered when he said 'double stuffed' and he subtly elbowed me. Mike got bacon cheeseburger and potato logs after trying to figure out what had happened between Trey and me.
We got our orders shortly and ate while Mike and I talked about nothing really important. Trey stayed mostly silent and watched Mike. I didn't know if he was warming to him or not. I also noticed that he started looking tired before he was half done with his sandwich. That was my cue to end things there but Trey surprised me by telling me to stay.
I reminded him that I was his ride, but he said that he would walk back as he needed the exercise. He got the attention of the waiter and asked for a container to take his food home before pulling out his wallet to come up with what he figured was his part of the bill. I told him I'd take care of it and he looked like he was about to object but thought better of it.
Once his food was in hand, he told us to have fun and stood. He looked around a bit before he looked back at me and planted a deep kiss on my lips. I was shocked as he wasn't really one for PDA, well not kissing anyway, but I wasn't gonna argue. He pulled back and winked at me before waving at us and leaving the table.
"Well, I guess that just leaves the two of us," I said and Mike shrugged.
We finished up lunch and then he suggested we go see a movie. I hadn't planned on it but if he wanted to, I was game. I didn't have anything else to do for the day. On the way to the theater, my mother texted me a few more pics of Prue. She was a proud granny. When I suggested this though she told me that I'd better never call her "granny" again. She was teaching Prue to call her Gram-Gram.
The movie was great, one that I'd wanted to see that I hoped that Trey also didn't want to. It wasn't a Marvel movie so I felt pretty safe. We then went to a bookstore because he wanted to check out a few books. We browsed separately and I found a book that my sister had wanted. I had asked her why didn't she just get it on her Kindle app, but she said that sometimes it was nice to own a book for real and not just digitally.
I paid for my book and Mike paid for his then we left and walked around just talking about nothing in particular. When it started to get late Mike said that he needed to get back home and start reading the book he'd bought. We headed back to my truck and I drove him back to his car. He thanked me for hanging out with him for the day before getting out. I told him I'd talk to him soon and he waved before heading to his car.
I drove on back to school and when I arrived, I headed over to Trey's room. Drake arrived back at their room at the same time. He opened the door and we found Trey asleep at his desk with his head lying on his laptop. I gathered him up and put him in his bed. I pulled off his shoes and started to undress him too so he didn't have to sleep in his clothes but thought better of it as it didn't feel right undressing him without his permission, especially in front of Drake.
It seemed as if Drake read my mind because he shook his head and went into the bathroom. I took that time to pull off Trey's jeans and socks. I left his t-shirt on though and tucked him in as the room was cool thanks to the air-conditioning going. I was surprised that with all the jostling of his body going on that Trey didn't wake up. I checked his breathing just to be sure and he sleepily swatted my hand away when I touched his nose so I knew he was alive.
I gave him a kiss on the forehead and whispered an "I love you" in his ear before leaving. I knocked on the bathroom door on my way out to let Drake know that I was leaving. I headed back to my room to Deacon on his way out for a date with his girlfriend. I grabbed an apple on my way to my room. I finished it off quickly and tossed the core before lying back on my bed. I took out my phone and looked again at the pics of Prue my mother had sent earlier. Seeing her beautiful smile brought one to my face as well. I thanked Trey and my mother again for knocking some sense into my head regarding Prue as now that I knew her, I couldn't imagine my life without her.
I awoke to my phone ringing. It sounded weird at first until I realized that it was the skype tone. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and looked to see that the call was from Alicia. I started to roll my eyes until I remembered that she just so happened to be the mother of my child. I accepted the call and there she was with a big cheery smile on her face.
"Hey Bear," she said much too cheerfully for the morning. Yup, Trey was rubbing off on me regarding my morning mood.
"Yeah," I mumbled as I rubbed my eye.
"Well, somebody isn't a morning person," she teased.
"You'll never know," I said as I sat up and moved to sit on the side of my bed.
"Well, excuse me," she huffed in an offended tone.
"What do you want?" I asked through a yawn.
"Prue wanted to see you," she said now frowning. Something told me to look at myself. I did and realized that I was in nothing but my underwear. I didn't feel right talking to Alicia while being almost completely undressed.
"Wait a minute," I said before I tossed my phone over on the bed. I got up and threw on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt before returning to my bed and picking the phone back up. Alicia rolled her eyes when she saw me.
"Did you go put clothes on just because you were talking to me?" She asked. She sounded slightly amused.
"Where's Prue?" I asked choosing not to respond to her question. She just rolled her eyes before turning around what looked like her laptop.
"Daddy," Prue said as her face lit up when her face came on the screen.
"Hey, princess," I said and she giggled which made the smile already present on my face grow even wider.
She talked to me in her limited but increasing vocabulary and I listened to every word. Every now and then a pang of regret would hit me because of how I had behaved after finding out about her. I didn't regret Trey or my devotion to him for a second but I did regret not even trying to find a way for me to preserve my relationship with him while being a part of my daughter's life.
"Now that you've had daddy/daughter time, we need to talk," Alicia said and I should have known there'd be an angle.
"What do you want Alicia?" I asked with an exasperated sigh.
"Your father wants a paternity test," she said and my eyes went wide. I was stunned because from what I had seen from my father he seemed happy to have a grandkid.
I'm not kidding myself in that part of the reason for his happiness in having a granddaughter is because he still had hopes of me being the normal son, he envisioned me being. Producing an heir, the supposed "natural" way, by having sex with a woman and getting her pregnant. That was what a supposed "normal" son would do which as I said was what I felt played a part in how happy he was to be a grandpa. That's what made what Alicia had just said strange.
"How do you know he wants that?" I asked because he couldn't have just come out and said it to her face.
"He asked to speak to me alone yesterday and when we were alone, he told me he wanted a paternity test," she said and I rolled my eyes. I wouldn't have expected the old man to be so blatant.
"Well, don't worry about it cause I won't go along with it," I said and I could just hear my friends' voices, especially Liberty's calling me a dumbass. I know that it was at the very least, naive, to take Alicia's word on the fact that I was her baby daddy but all I had to do was look in her eyes, my eyes, and just know that she was mine.
"I told him that and he said he was ready for that. He said that he'd use his own DNA for the test and if Prue came back related to him that he'd believe that she was your kid," Alicia said and I guess dad hadn't completely lost it.
"I'll take care of it," I said before I started to end the call but she told me to wait. "What is it?" I asked, thinking it was something else about Prue.
"I don't care. I want you to do it," she said and seeing as this was Alicia, my guard was up.
"My father asks you to get a paternity test on your kid and you want to do it, want me to do it? What's your deal?" I asked as even with this new "relationship" we had; I still didn't trust her.
"First of all, he didn't ask me to do it, he told me I was going to do it. Secondlyl, I don't have anything to hide and I know who the father of my child is so I have no problem taking the test. I didn't tell you about this so you could get me out of it, I just told you as I thought you should know, being Prue's father and all," she said and that was strangely considerate of her.
"You don't have to do it. I know she's my daughter," I said and she smiled. I thought it should be touching but it did nothing for me. I guess I still held anger towards her for what she had done.
"I know I don't have to do it, but I'm going to," she said and she seemed determined to do it so I didn't try to talk her out of it.
The alert on my phone went off letting me know to start getting ready for my first class. I told Alicia and she let me say goodbye to Prue before she ended the call. I sat and thought about what she'd said before I got up to go to the bathroom.
Once I was done taking care of business I hopped into the shower and washed very thoroughly as I planned to see Trey after class and I wanted to be as clean as possible just in case.
When I was done in the shower I got out and brushed my teeth while I air-dried. With that done I left the bathroom and ran right into Deacon, while I was stark naked and he was almost in the same state except for his underwear. He looked me over and joked that I'd have to try harder than that to seduce him before he snickered and walked into the bathroom.
I breathed a sigh of relief that there was nothing to it, that he'd even joked about it. Despite my outward behavior, I was always secretly waiting for the day when Deacon became uncomfortable with having a bisexual male roommate who was in a relationship with another man. I was dreading the day that he reached his limit with what he could handle. Maybe that was insulting to him when I didn't feel that way about Sean, Christian, or Dale.
I shook off those thoughts for the time being and headed to my room to get dressed. Once I was sufficiently clothed, I grabbed my keys, wallet, cell phone, and backpack and headed out for my class.
I finished my first class of the day and took a break to go grab a drink from a nearby Starbucks. On my way back to my second class, my favorite one, I got a call from my dad asking me if Alicia had told me about what they had talked about. I told him she had and asked him why he wanted the test. He told me that he wasn't about to get any further attached to Prue without finding out if she was, in fact, his granddaughter.
I told him that I was sure and he told me that I had a lot to learn about the world. He had a point but I knew what I felt when I looked into that little girl's eyes. I felt a very strong connection. I felt the kinship shared between us.
He told me he had no problem with me feeling what I felt but that he wanted proof. I told him that I wasn't mad and in fact, my friends would probably be mad with me for not agreeing with him. He laughed at that and I'll admit it felt nice to hear a genuine laugh from him. He sounded like the father I remembered from when I was younger.
I told him Alicia agreed to do it and I told him I'd do it too to ease his mind. He thanked and told me he'd talk to me again soon. I smiled a bit before heading to my Black Studies class. I always made sure I paid extra attention in class and Artemis teased me about trying too hard. I ignored her mostly in that regard.
Once class was over Artemis told me about a party on the weekend and joked that I'd probably be able to get in as long as I brought Trey. I told her that Trey thought I had street cred. She looked me up and down and laughed before patting me on the back and walking away.
I gathered my stuff and sent Trey a text asking if he was in class. I knew his schedule for the most part but there were times that he had to take other classes that weren't on his normal schedule. He texted back that he was in his room. That was my cue and I told him I'd see him in a bit. In reality, a bit was as soon as I could make it to his room.
I arrived at his door and knocked. He told me to come in and I smiled that he knew I was coming sooner than I'd let on. I opened the door and walked in, closing it behind me. He was on his laptop arguing over Skype with a guy from one of his classes. I asked what was wrong but he said it was fine. The arguing didn't sound serious after I listened for a bit. I sat on Drake's bed and watched him. He tried to ignore me, especially when I started flirting with him.
He abruptly ended his Skype chat and chastised me for doing that where his classmate could have seen and figured us out. I didn't care and told him as such. I then stood and pulled him into a kiss. That led to things that were interrupted when Drake entered the room. He took one look at us in a similar position to the one he'd found us years ago, rolled his eyes and headed for his bed.
He sat down and started pulling stuff out of his backpack. Trey asked him what the hell he was doing. He said that it was his room too and he was too tired to go anywhere so if we were gonna continue what we were doing that we'd have to do it with him there. That shocked me as this was so out of character from the Drake that I knew from high school.
That Drake had balked at any sort of male on male affection. He couldn't seem to stop himself from calling attention to and deriding it. This Drake though had walked in on me and Trey making out, with both of us shirtless, and my hand down Trey's pants and hadn't even really batted an eye. When we were in high school, he had flipped out to walking in on something much tamer.
Trey threw a pillow at him before sighing with frustration. He buttoned his jeans back up and yanked his t-shirt back on. I reluctantly put my shirt back on as well. Drake snorted and I started to go over to his side of the room and toss him out the window. Trey stopped me though and told me to return to my dorm and wait for a while and he'd "pay me a visit" soon. I grinned and bolted for the door with Drake snickering after me.
I practically ran back to my dorm, well, I actually did run. I passed my coach on the way who tried to slow me down. I didn't have time for that though. I waited for the 15 years it took the elevator to reach my floor. When it arrived, I floored it toward my room and struggled to open the door. I finally got the key to work and threw open the door to find Deacon along with Flynn, Kenneth, and Tyson sitting on the couch and chairs.
"Yo, Davidson, where you been?" Tyson asked. I was not in the mood for this.
"Out," I said in a clipped tone.
"Out where?" He asked again.
"What are you, my mother all of a sudden?" I said, and maybe my horniness was making me a bit snappy.
"Chill dude, I was just asking," Tyson said. They all were looking at me curiously.
"I gotta take care of something," I said before I bolted to my room. I texted Trey and told him that the guys were over and he shouldn't come over. He didn't respond so I texted him again. Still no response. I decided to call him then.
"Hello precious," Drake said as he answered Trey's phone.
"Why are you answering Trey's phone? Where is he?" I asked not kindly.
"Well, he tore out of here just after you left. I guess he was in such a hurry to ride your dick that he forgot his phone," Drake said sounding so smug that I wanted to punch him in the nose.
"How do you know I didn't plan to ride his dick?" I asked, deciding to shock him. I figured I'd succeeded by the silence on the other end of the line.
"Well, I can't say I blame you cause let me tell you, whew, that boy is packing," Drake said and I fought like hell to keep from rushing back over to Trey's room to rip Drake's tongue out through his asshole.
"I'm gonna end this call now so that I don't end up ripping your skeleton out through the top of your head," I said in as nasty a snarl as I'd ever heard from myself.
"Aw precious, you don't have to-" was all he was able to get out before I did end the call. I took a minute to calm myself with a few calming breaths. I knew he was joking but it still rankled me, especially knowing they were sharing a room together.
There was a knock at the door in the common room as I managed to push Drake's words out of my head. I realized, perhaps too late that Trey would probably be hot to trot and ready for action when he arrived. I bolted from my room just in time to see Flynn opening the door.
"Hey, Trey, what's doing?" Flynn said as he held open the door.
"Hey," Trey said sounding stiff.
"Well, come on in," Flynn said. Something about him inviting Trey in pissed me off. It was an innocent thing as he was the one who was closest to the door when I'd come in but somehow, I felt even more territorial towards him. Maybe it was the thing deep down that I tried to ignore that told me he'd leave sooner or later.
"Where's Bear?" he asked and I almost laughed as now that I'd cooled down a little, he sounded almost just like I had when I'd made it back.
"He's in his room," Flynn said as he frowned slightly. "Are you okay?" He asked as he looked him over.
"Fine," Trey said sounding a bit clipped. My guy was seriously horny and I liked it.
"Here I am," I said as I entered the room.
"Hey, Bear," he said trying to sound as nonchalant as possible but I could see what was really going on. Deacon could too because after looking between us for a few moments his eyes went wide a bit then his lips curled into a half-smile.
"Guys, let's take this gathering elsewhere. I need to get outta here for a while," he said before he stood up. Kenneth and Tyson griped about having to relocate. Flynn started to as well before he too looked at us and seemed to catch on.
"Yeah, I wanna grab some food. Let's roll," he said before heading for the door. Ken and Ty grumbled some more before following him out the door.
"Well, I'm leaving now. Don't do anything I wouldn't do," Deacon said before aiming a wink and a knowing smile in our direction.
"Since I plan to do sexy things with my boyfriend, we'll be doing lots of things you wouldn't do," I said as I aimed my cocky grin, the one that I knew Trey secretly loved, at him. Trey's eyes went wide but he didn't respond.
"Don't be so sure about that," Deacon said and made a show of looking Trey up and down and then leering at him before leaving. I was gonna have to poison the entire male population before all was said and done.
"Well, we're alone," I said after walking over and locking the door.
"Yup," he said as he eyed me up and down.
"What do you wanna do?" I asked as I walked back over to him.
"A lot of things," he said and I liked the sound of that.
"Good," I said before I darted towards him. He tried to run but I caught him and threw him over my shoulder.
"What are you gonna do to me?" He asked sounding scared. The look on his face said anything but though.
"A lot of things," I threw back at him as I opened the door to my room.
"Ooh," he said and I laughed. I did indeed do a lot of things to him which he thanked me for. I was pleased as well.
TREY'S POV
"Rise and shine," I heard in a cheery voice. I wanted to kill the owner.
"Fuck off," I mumbled as pulled the covers over me.
"My word, do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" The voice said and I seriously considered committing murder.
"Shut up," I groaned as I pulled a pillow over my head. I was exhausted after a full day of work the previous day.
"Okay, but I thought you'd wanna know your alarm just went off," Drake, the owner of the annoying voice, said.
"Fine," I seethed as I sat up. I yawned as I stretched trying to loosen my sore muscles.
"What's that?" He asked as he looked at me.
"What?" I asked sounding very grouchy.
"That," he said as he pointed at my bare chest. I looked down and saw the bandage on my chest and smiled. The memory of what was behind the bandage served to wake me up a bit.
"A surprise," I said with a smile I couldn't hide.
"For me?" He said looking like he was expecting me to say yes. I knew he was just putting on show though.
"Yeah, come look and touch my chest while you're at it," I said with a smirk. He looked like he was thinking about it.
"Okay," he said as he walked toward me with his hand stretched out.
"Get away from me," I said as I threw a pillow at him to stop his approach. The last thing I needed was the thought of Drake touching me so early in the morning. I hadn't even had my coffee yet.
"Is it another couples tattoo?" He asked as he gathered his clothes for the day.
"Nope," I said as I got out of the bed.
"Dude, do something about that," he said as he shielded his eyes. I was confused until I looked down and saw my morning wood standing proud. A few months ago, I would have freaked out at him seeing me hard up but I couldn't care less now.
"Don't look if you don't wanna see then," I said before heading to the bathroom to relieve myself.
"It's not that easy not to look," he shouted from the other side of the door. I just rolled my eyes and wondered how I'd ended up in this very weird dynamic with Drake as I finished draining the tank.
Once empty I dropped my sleep pants and shorts and hopped in the shower to wake up. I took a long thorough shower and made sure to use up all the hot water to pay Drake back for waking me up. I got out when I was finished and wrapped one of the towels hanging on the towel rack around me as I'd left my clothes in the other room.
I exited the bathroom to find Drake looking over what looked like something for one of his classes. He looked at me and shook his head before grabbing his clothes and heading for the bathroom.
As I got dressed, I heard him yell that there was no hot water. I smiled as I finished getting dressed. When I was done, I checked my phone for any texts. I had one from Bear saying "good morning" a kiss and a heart emoji. I had one from my dad saying he wanted to talk to me when I had time. I wondered what that was about before choosing to be positive. I grabbed my wallet, phone, keys, and backpack and laptop and headed out for my first class.
I had three exams and to start one of the thesis that I needed to do. I had 4 to do before I was done with the program. When I was done, I was surprisingly still fresh, well, fresh for my new normal of low-grade exhausted. I wanted to see Bear as I didn't have anything more to do today and I hadn't seen him in a few days. As if he knew I was thinking about him, my cell rang with his ring-tone.
"Hello handsome," I said as a smile fought its way onto my face.
"Hello yourself gorgeous," he said and I could hear the smile on his face over the phone.
"What may I do for my love?" I asked in my most dramatic, well, most dramatic for today.
"I just wanted to hear your voice," he said, and even though I could tell that he was still smiling, I could hear his need to see me as well.
"Are you busy?" I asked as I headed to his dorm. If he wasn't there, I'd just wait for him.
"Nope. Just made it back from a class," he said and wasn't that convenient.
"Me too. Want some company?" I asked even though I knew he would love for me to drop by.
"You know you don't have to ever ask that," he said just as I knew he would.
"I'm on my way," I said before I ended the call and slipped my phone back into my pocket.
I reached his dorm and headed inside, speaking to a few of his teammates on their way out. I hopped on the elevator and headed up to his room. When I reached his door, I reached up to knock but the door swung open before I got the chance.
"Hey, lover," Bear said as he leaned against the doorjamb.
"Hey yourself stud," I said and the smile on his face grew bigger.
"Gross," I heard from inside his room.
"Leave then if you don't wanna hear me wooing my guy," Bear said to Deacon without taking his eyes off me.
"You are so corny," I said as I shook my head at my big doofus.
"And you love that about me," he said as he crossed his arms. He looked so hot leaning against the doorjamb. Bear could make anything look better.
"Sometimes," I said as I tried to play it off.
"Get in here," he said as he took my hand and gently yanked me into his room.
"Well, that's my cue to beat feet," Deacon said as he stood up.
"You don't have to leave on my account," I told him. I felt a bit guilty about him feeling he had to leave.
"Yeah well, you and Bear might be about to get up to stuff that'll mentally scar me for life so I'm gonna leave," he said and Bear scoffed.
"The only thing that'll scar you would be seeing how both me and Trey are bigger than you," Bear said with a smug smile. Deacon didn't respond as he was too busy looking at my crotch with wide eyes.
"Seriously?" Deacon asked as he looked like he was trying to develop x-ray vision. I swear I didn't get straight guys. They seemed to be gayer than gay guys.
"Okay, it's time to go and stop ogling my boyfriend's junk," Bear said as he guided Deacon towards the door.
"Later," Deacon said and his gaze lingered on me with a slightly curious expression before leaving through the door which Bear closed behind him.
"I swear, you're not gonna be happy until you turn everybody gay," Bear said but he had a smile on his face so I knew he was joking.
"If I could do that then Henry Cavill, Joe Manganiello, Idris Elba, and Jason Momoa would all be gay," I said and he chuckled that chuckle that warmed my heart.
"How do you know they aren't?" He asked as he slowly walked towards me.
"Trust me. Anybody with Lisa Bonet and Sofia Vergara ain't gay. Especially Lisa Bonet. I'd go straight for her, well, after Helle Berry and Beyoncé," I said and he rolled his eyes as he reached me.
"You've thought about this, haven't you?" He asked as he grasped my head in his big hands. He caressed my cheeks his thumbs.
"A little," I said and he laughed softly. He leaned down and placed a kiss on my lips that I welcomed and escalated.
"Wow," Bear said as we broke off our kiss a few minutes later.
"Yeah," I said as I caught my breath.
"Come, sit down and tell me about your day so far," Bear said as he took ahold of my hand and led me toward the couch.
"Before I do that, I have a surprise for you," I said and he raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Oh yeah? What is it?" He asked with an amused but also curious expression. His curious look only deepened as I started to unbutton my shirt. When my shirt fell and he saw the bandage on my chest he grinned big.
"Wanna do the honors?" I asked as I figured he knew what it was.
"Yeah," he said as he stepped up to me and gently peeled away the bandage. His eyes went big as he saw the new tattoo on my chest on the left side, in contrast to his on the right. It was a red heart that trailed off into a heartbeat line that had Bear's name written in the line.
"Do you know what it means?" I asked as his eyes followed his finger as it traced the line back and forth.
"Your heart beats for me?" He asked as he looked into my eyes with a hopeful look on his sexy face. I couldn't stop the smile that broke out on my face at him guessing right the first time. He beamed when he realized he was right. He traced it one more time before he pulled me into a heated kiss.
"I take it you like it?" I said and he laughed at my stupid question.
"I love it," he said and gave me another brief kiss.
He sat down on the couch and pulled me down to sit next to him. He laid back on the couch and beckoned for me to come to him. I did and he wrapped his arms around me and gazed into my eyes and me into his.
I liked these moments when it wasn't just heat and passion and lust overpowering us. I liked that too but the peaceful calm moments between us and the fact that he enjoyed it as much as I did really let me know that our relationship wasn't just physical. Our peaceful moment was shattered though when Bear's phone rang.
"You gonna get that?" I asked when he made no move to answer the phone.
"Nope. They can call back. I'm busy," he said before tightening his hold on me. It wasn't painful though so I didn't move either. Whoever was calling called back again after their first call wasn't answered.
"I think you'd better get it," I said as I managed to extract myself from his hold. He let out a frustrated grunt as he reached for his phone.
"Fine," he said before answering the call. "Hello," he said and then removed the phone from his ear. I was confused why until I heard a voice come over the speaker, Mike's voice.
"Hey, buddy, what's up?" He asked sounding cheerful. For some reason, it ticked me off.
"I was actually in the middle of something," Bear said before looking at me and shooting me a wink and a grin.
"Oh, I didn't mean to interrupt you. I was just calling because I'm going to Paragon Bar on Friday and I wanted to ask if you'd like to join me," he said. Even though I wasn't for the bar scene, given that I was underage, even I knew that Paragon was a bar that catered to the LGBT community, not just a gay bar of a lesbian bar.
"Well, I would but there's the tiny problem of me being underage," Bear said and I rolled my eyes at him. Nobody in their right mind would card him as he looked like a grown man.
"Nobody's gonna card somebody that looks like you," he said and again what he'd said pissed me off.
"I still don't wanna take the chance. Besides, what about Trey. They will card him," Bear said and that had me looking at him with a raised eyebrow. Since when did I get involved in this. Although, it was sweet that he immediately thought of me and maybe I wouldn't want Bear out clubbing alone with Mike.
"What about him?" Mike asked and of course, he didn't think about me.
"Well, if I went, I'd want him to go with me," he said and I struggled to keep a straight face and not smile at my big softie.
"Oh yeah, right," Mike said barely managing to not sound dismissive. "Well, I might know somebody that can get you some fake ID's," he said and Bear looked like he'd just thought of something.
"I know somebody that could probably do it," he said and I was confused until he whispered Justice and I shook my head because she probably could and the fact that Bear thought she could do it was funny, to me at least.
"Okay, so, does that mean you're in?" Mike asked sounding much too hopeful.
"How about it?" Bear asked me but I was unsure if I wanted to go. I was definitely sure that I didn't Bear to go without me though.
"I don't know," I said even though deep down I know I'd probably say yes. I didn't have much resistance when it came to Bear.
"Who is that? Do you have me on speaker?" Mike asked and a snort escaped without my meaning to.
"Yeah and it's Trey," Bear said before looking back at me with a hopeful look on his face.
"Oh, hey Trey," Mike said sounding almost like he meant it.
"Hey Mike," I said trying to do the same.
"Hold on a minute Mike," Bear said before he picked up his phone and put it on mute.
"Bear, you know I'm busy. I should be working right now but I needed to see you," I said and before I knew it, he was kissing me.
"I know and I'm glad you're here. I just don't want you to get overworked Trey so that's why I keep trying to get you to do stuff that's as far from school-related as possible," he said and that almost weakened my resistance completely.
"Well," I said still kinda putting up a fight. He leaned forward and placed a brief kiss on my lips before pulling me close to him.
"If you say yes when we come back, I'll let you fuck me, good and hard," Bear said next to my ear in his most husky voice before licking me behind my ear in the spot he knew mad me crazy.
"Fuck," I hissed as what he'd said and done washed over me. It wasn't fair that Bear was able to get me from 0 to 60 in seconds.
"Is that a yes?" He asked with a cocky grin as he knew he had me.
"Fine, yes, I'll go," I said and he lit up.
"We're in," Bear said to Mike after picking up his phone and unmuting it.
"Great. I'll get in touch with you before it's time to go," Mike said before saying bye to Bear and ending the call.
He was giddy while I was, well I wasn't sure what I was. I know I needed a break but I didn't wanna go to a bar, even though I was curious what an LGBT bar was like inside. Aside from that though, I didn't want Bear to go without me.
Bear called Justice and asked her if she could make a fake ID. She said yes, of course. He said he needed them by Friday and she said she didn't need that long but that we'd need to come to her. Bear agreed and told her we'd see her tomorrow.
We were up early and headed for Justice's school. I was tired so I fell asleep on the way. Bear woke me up when we arrived. I saw Justice standing outside where she'd told Bear to park. She was waiting for us as this was the first time we'd been to her school, well my first time. Bear had been there before but not to her dorm.
She led us in the direction of her dorm and when we entered the room, I was surprised she didn't have a roommate. That allowed her to spread out and she had a mini lab in her room along with various other things.
"What is all this?" Bear asked as he looked around.
"The tools of my trades," she said before walking over to her desk. I saw the printer, copier, and a few other things set up like she was ready for us.
"You're really serious about this aren't you?" I said as I looked at her setup.
"I don't do anything half-assed dear," she said before sitting down at her desk. "Now, let's see the pictures I'm gonna use," she said as she held out her hand. Both me and Bear took out our phones and she told us to send the images to her phone. Something occurred to me as I was doing that.
"Couldn't we have done this without us having to come up here?" I asked and Bear realized it too then.
"Maybe I just wanted to see you," she said as she went to work doing her thing.
"Aw," Bear said looking touched.
"No, you just wanted us to see you doing this," I said and she didn't respond which basically confirmed it for me.
"Really? You wanted an audience?" Bear asked and again she was silent.
We just let it slide and took a seat while she worked. I asked her how many of her classmates had she done this for. She was vague and said a few. After a few hours, she presented us with some expert looking fake ID's. If anybody had shown me these same ID's with someone else's names and pics on them I would have believed them no problem.
"Damn, this is amazing," Bear said as he thoroughly looked his ID over.
"I know, right," she said as she preened.
"How do you do it?" Bear asked as he looked at her in wonder.
"Do what?" She asked although I suspect she knew what he meant.
"You're a genius, you're a hacker, you're a black belt martial artist, and now this. How do you do it?" Bear said and he had a point.
"Black excellence and Black Girl Magic," she said with a cocky smile. I held up a hand and she high fived me. I just had to at that.
"Well, I can't compete with that," Bear said and we all laughed.
Justice invited us to a late lunch which we accepted. When we were done, we said goodbye to her and got on the road to head back to school. I had brought my laptop with me so I busied myself with some work as we rode along. Bear shook his head at me and called me a nerd. He was smiling though so I only lightly flicked his ear.
Friday was here and after a heavy day of work I wasn't in the mood to go out anywhere but I knew Bear wanted to go so I did my best to put on a brave face. That is until Bear called me and told me that he had to pick up Mike because his car wasn't cranking. I told him I'd go with him but he told me to go on ahead and he'd meet me there.
That pissed me off but I decided to do what he'd said anyway. Drake teased me about my first trip to a bar. I told him it was an LGBT bar and that he could come along. I thought that would get to him but he only said that he was busy but maybe next time. This new Drake was still weird to get used to. He was almost at Sean levels of annoying. I grabbed my wallet, keys, and phone and headed out the door.
Paragon Bar wasn't far from campus, in fact, it was walking distance and that's why I chose to walk there. I needed the fresh air and the exercise anyway. As I walked toward the bar, I questioned my decision to go in the first place. When I got near the bar the loud music started to vibrate in my bones before I'd even reached the building. There was a line out front that wasn't too long so I got in line.
As I stood in line, I looked at the people in front of me and that joined the line behind me. There were mostly guys but some girls in front of me. just behind me was a group of Drag Queens and behind them was a guy and a girl. The guy though was what some would call effeminate while the girl looked a bit butch. These were my people and that kind of made me want to stay a bit more.
The moment of truth came as I reached the front of the line. I handed the bouncer my fake ID and he looked at it and then looked at me, then looked back at it and again back at me before handing it back and letting me in. I guess Justice had another talent after all. I walked in and looked around and it was kind of a jarring experience. There were lights and loud music and a lot of people on the dance floor. The inside crowd matched the ones in the line. I was surprised to see a few seemingly straight couples dancing as well.
After looking around for a few minutes and getting walk-by checked out by a few guys, I headed for the bar as I saw that as a relatively safe place. I again questioned my decision to go to this club at all, let alone go without Bear. I should have just gone with him but I didn't want to be around Mike any more than I had to.
It was starting to bug me that Bear's new friendship with Mike bugged me so much. I had no right to feel the way I felt about him with my close friendships with Sean, Carter, and Christian, and whatever this weird thing was that was going on between Drake and me.
I arrived at the bar and sat there for a minute before the bartender came over and damn was this guy hot. He had to be some sort of Middle Eastern or Eastern European mix with a full head of slicked-back black hair and dark piercing eyes and most importantly, a light beard.
"Hi there, what can I get you?" he asked and I wondered how many boys he'd been able to seduce with just the sound of his voice.
"Um, just a beer," I said kind of low.
"First time?" he asked as he grabbed a glass and poured me a beer from the tap.
"Is it that obvious?" I asked him and he smiled a sexy smile.
"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it," he said, then he handed me the glass. He went off to take care of another customer while I sipped my beer and looked around.
I was feeling a bit annoyed that I'd let Bear talk me into this. I really didn't want to go to a club, especially with Mike, and really especially since neither Bear nor I were even old enough to be up in a club. Although the promise of getting to fuck Bear hard held me there.
"Hey there sweet thang," I heard from my right and I rolled my eyes at the cheesy pickup line. I turned to the right and had to keep myself from laughing at the little shorty that stood there. He looked to be about 30 but he was kind of already balding and he had on a suit that looked so tacky that I was tempted to check my phone to make sure I was still in 2016.
"I'm not interested," I said simply before I started to turn back around, but of course he wasn't gonna let me off that easily.
"Oh, come on. I know you want me," he said sounding annoyingly cocky.
"Why don't you try again when the rest of you gets here," I said. I immediately regretted saying it as I saw the look of hurt in his eyes. It was a low blow and I knew it before I said it, as lots of guys are sensitive about their height. I know I was.
"Okay," he said trying to put on a brave face on.
"Look, I'm sorry. I'm just not in a good mood tonight," I said trying to make sure I spoke more cordially.
"Hey, it's my fault. I should have known that a hot guy like you wouldn't be into me, but hey, you gotta try right," he said and I was shocked at being called a hot guy.
"Hey don't sell yourself short... er I mean don't be so hard on yourself. You'd look pretty good if you just change that suit. Man, that thing is like retro," I said and he laughed.
"Yeah I've heard that from my sister before," he said.
"Yeah, get yourself some more modern clothes and I'm sure you'll be a real hottie," I told him and he actually blushed and smiled shyly.
"Thank you," he said still with the shy smile.
"No problem. Look, here's my number. You can call me if you want, just as long as you know that I just want to be friends because I already have a boyfriend," I told him. He nodded and I gave him my number. I told him to send me a text so he was sure it was my number. He did and he looked surprised that it was real.
"Thanks, and I'll see you around," he said before leaving.
"That was nice of you," I heard from the direction of the bartender. I turned and saw him looking at me with a studious look on his face.
"Yeah well," I said trying to brush off the compliment.
"No, I'm serious. Louis comes around here a lot and he's always hitting on guys that I think he knows are gonna blow him off and they live up to expectation and they're much meaner than you were. I think he almost wants to be turned down. He's an otherwise nice guy though and I feel sorry seeing him being dismissed by guys," the bartender said and I felt guilty again for how I'd been with him even though I did rectify my behavior.
"Yeah I guess," I said again playing it off. "Do you mind if I ask your name?" I asked him and he smiled.
"It's Salim. How about your name?" he said as he extended his hand.
"Trey," I said as I shook his hand. A customer showed up next to me and ordered a drink and Salim attended to him around the time my cell rang. I pulled it out and saw it was Bear. I rolled my eyes that he wasn't there and answered.
"Bear, where are you?" I asked him. Salim looked at me and raised an eyebrow as he poured the guy's drink. It was likely at me saying Bear's name.
"Sorry I'm late, baby. Mike was tied up with something but we're on our way," he said and I rolled my eyes again. I decided to make him pay for his tardiness.
"Well you'd better hurry because if you hadn't already thought about it, I'm in a bar full of hot gay men and one very hot bartender who's right in front of me," I said and winked at Salim. He smiled and winked back.
"I'll be right there," he said in a hurry before ending the call.
"Nice play," Salim said as he poured two more drinks for two blond girls.
"I was serious about the hot bartender part," I said and he kicked that smile up a bit. It's a shame he wasn't gonna get anywhere though as he was hot.
"So, Bear huh?" he asked as he leaned against the bar.
"Yup, he's a Bear," I said with a smirk.
"I can't say I've ever heard of a gay guy named Bear before, and you would think I would have too," he said and I laughed.
"Yup," I said. I suddenly became aware of someone very close to me. I turned and saw a guy looking at me like he wanted to eat me and it was not at all flattering. It was creepy though.
"Hey there hot stuff, come here often?" The guy asked and I rolled my eyes yet again at the cheesy pickup lines that guys used. I decided to be more cordial than I'd been to Louis though.
"No, I don't," I said and I guess I didn't try hard enough as I could hear the annoyance in my voice.
"What do you say we go somewhere more private and... talk," he said even though I could tell his idea of talking was vastly different than my own.
"No thanks," I said. I was about to turn back around but I happened to glance at the entrance and saw Bear walking in with... Mike. I was glad that Bear didn't have any problems with his fake ID either, although Bear looked older than his 20 years so I'm sure that helped. He made eye contact with me and started to smile, but then started to scowl a little bit, likely at the guy who was still very close to me.
"Come on, hot stuff. I ain't gonna hurt you," he said like he was doing me a favor.
"Oh, I know, but you should be less worried about me and more worried about who's gonna hurt you," I told him and I made sure to add a cryptic smile. He didn't pay attention though.
"Oh, come on, who's gonna hurt me?" He asked with that same creepy smarmy smile that I was about to remove.
"He will," I said as I gestured behind him with my eyes as Bear arrived and stood behind the guy. He turned around and saw Bear and I swear that his eyes almost bugged out.
"Oh, good lord, don't hurt me," he pleaded with Bear. It was funny but I managed not to laugh.
"Leave," Bear said in a dangerous growl that I knew wasn't real. I'd heard the real one enough to know.
"Okay, okay, I'm going, I'm going. I'm sorry," the guy said in a terrified babble before he booked it away.
"Why do you have to do that?" I asked with a roll of my eyes even though I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Bear menacing that poor loser.
"It's fun," he said with that brilliant smile that I fell in love with more each day before he kissed me deeply. I'm sure it was his way of declaring that I was his and everybody better back off. I wasn't opposed to this declaration. I looked over and I saw Salim eyeing Bear warily.
"This is Bear," I told him.
"I uh, see," he said while looking a bit intimidated.
"Bear, this is Salim, a gracious bartender who kept me company while I was waiting for you," I told him. He put that intimidation face back on as he shook his hand.
"Is he the `very hot bartender' you were talking about?" Bear asked not sounding nice.
"Yes, he is. Be nice," I said and I almost laughed at the slightly scolded look he got.
"Fine," he kind of pouted and Salim snickered.
"Hey Trey," Mike said smiling but there was something there that I couldn't decipher.
"Hey Mike," I said and I hoped that it didn't come out all passive-aggressive.
"Let's get a table, guys," Mike said and I reluctantly agreed. I would have much rather stayed talking to Salim over Mike. I just couldn't get why I didn't like him though. Maybe this is how Drake had felt. He hated me, but he didn't know why.
"This place is jumping," Bear said as we took a seat at a small table.
"Yeah, I haven't been out for a while. By the way, that friend of yours is a genius with fakes. I've never seen one look so real before," Mike said and for some reason that sounded funny to me.
"Yeah, she is a jack of all trades," Bear said about Justice.
"And a master of none, right," Mike joked but I didn't find that funny.
"No, she's the master of most," I said. I noted a slight attitude and hoped that Bear and Mike hadn't noticed. They didn't look like they did so I breathed a sigh of relief.
"I don't know about you guys but I'm thirsty," Mike said as he stood.
"Yeah, I am too. I'll go with you," Bear said starting to stand as well.
"No that's okay. Let me get your drink for you," he said smiling at Bear. I didn't like the way he was smiling at Bear.
"Yeah, thanks, man. I'll have a Margarita," Bear said.
"What about you Trey?" Mike asked as he turned to me. He was smiling, but again I saw that something that I couldn't decipher. I was new at the cocktail thing so I picked something I'd had before.
"A strawberry daiquiri," I told him. He seemed to smirk at that before walking away.
"See, everything is going fine," Bear said after Mike had left.
"Yeah, I guess," I said being unnecessarily difficult.
"My deal is still in place. Are you thinking about fucking me? Cause I'm thinking about it," he said as he leaned close to my ear. The combination of his cologne and his deep baritone had me shuddering.
"You don't play fair," I told him and he grinned and gave me a quick peck.
"No, I don't," he said as he pinned me with a smoldering gaze.
"Would you stop before you make me spring a woody," I said as I tried to keep things under control.
"Do it. I want all the gay boys to see what you got and that they can't have," he said with a husky tone that wasn't helping things any.
"Does that include Mike?" I asked as I tried my hardest to stay soft, well, mostly soft as I was at about half mast now.
"If need be," he said before he licked his lips seductively and ran a hand up my thigh. When his hand grazed my almost fully hard dick he looked pleased and leaned back in his chair just as Mike returned with our drinks.
"Well, here we go," Mike said as he sat the drinks down. His presence effectively killed the mood and my dick took a hint and returned to slumber. I grabbed what I saw was the daiquiri and looked at it. It looked like the daiquiri I'd had before so I was satisfied.
"Cheers," Mike said before he and Bear took a drink of their drinks.
I was about to do the same when I got a text. I thought it was probably Justice checking in to see if her IDs had worked. It wasn't her though. It was Louis, the guy who I'd given my number to. I read the text which said "I wouldn't drink that drink if I were you. I saw that guy with you pour something in it and stir it up b4 coming back to your table".
I read the text again and tried to hide my reaction. I wasn't sure if Louis would lie because I had just met him. He had no reason to lie though as it was obvious, I was with Bear and not Mike which meant that Mike had more than likely put something in my drink. I had to play this off though.
"What is it, baby?" Bear asked and I should have known I couldn't hide anything from him. I played it off though.
"That was just Justice checking to see if we had been bounced," I said making sure to laugh.
"That girl is crazy," Bear said before he shook his head. I looked at Mike and he was watching me.
"So, Trey, are you gonna drink your daiquiri? Don't want it to melt," Mike said and I wanted to stab this bastard in the eye if he had indeed put something in my drink.
"You know, I'm feeling a bit buzzed. I had a few beers while I was waiting all that time for you... guys. I'm gonna hold off," I said and he looked disappointed. Good, you bastard.
"Oh, come on Trey. We're all friends here. We'll take care of ya," Mike said and how slick of him.
"Yeah baby, I'll watch you if you wanna cut loose. I think we can both agree you need to blow off a little steam," he said and I wondered if some of his statement had to do with him. I know he was still feeling guilty about Prue even though I'd told him that he needed to be a part of his daughter's life.
"Naw I'm fine. Thanks though," I told him and he smiled an understanding smile.
"Well then I'll just drink this," Bear said as he took the glass. I looked and saw that Mile looked worried but he didn't say anything, the bastard.
"No wait," I said unsure what else to say. I know I could have just said it out loud, but I had no proof other than the word of a guy I'd just met. I wasn't about to take any chances though.
"What?" Bear asked with his hand still on the glass that I now had a hold of as well.
"I just...," I said but I didn't know what else to say so I just went for it. I tilted the glass over and spilled the drink.
"Trey," Bear said as we all stood to keep from getting the daiquiri on us.
"Sorry. I had a pain in my hand," I said quickly deciding to use my hand injury to my advantage. The bitch had hurt when it had first happened but it was mostly a dull ache at times now. I was thankful I hadn't slammed the door which I usually did.
"Oh, is it still hurting?" Bear said as he forgot the drink and grabbed my hand tenderly.
"Naw, it's okay now. It was just a brief pain. The doctor told me I'd be getting them from time to time like that," I said before looking over at Mike who was looking at me with a studious but also slightly pissed look. I guess he'd figured out what I'd done but who cares. I wasn't about to be drugged if he had indeed put something in my drink.
Bear went to get some napkins which left Mike and me alone. He watched me and I watched him. I wondered what he was thinking and why he'd try to drug me if he indeed had so. Bear returned with a wad of napkins and we cleaned up the table. Salim came over and wiped the table down with a wet and a dry towel and brought me a new drink. He said it was on him.
I was wary about drinking anything else and gave it to Bear. I was almost sure this time that there was nothing in it but I just wasn't in the mood to drink anymore. Bear drank the daiquiri and Mike chatted him up. He cut his eyes at me every now and then but Bear held his attention.
"Bear, let's dance," I said before I even realized it. His face lit up and that temporarily cooled my ire towards Mike.
"Yes," he said as grabbed my hand and dragged me onto the dance floor while tossing a "be right back" to Mike.
We danced to fast club songs and slow ballads. I liked the slow dancing the most even though it was only like 2 songs. I understood though as they had to keep the club atmosphere up. My favorite part was Bear backing that thang up and grinding his ass against my crotch. I happened to look back at the tables and saw that Mike was watching us with an unreadable expression.
Mike joined us on the floor after that and we all danced together. I tolerated it until I noticed that he was dancing up on Bear more and more. I excused myself to the bathroom to cool off and avoid making a scene.
"That guy is after your guy," I heard from behind me as I washed my hands. I turned and it was Louis.
"What?" I said even though I'd heard him and deep down, I knew he was right.
"That guy that drugged your drink. I've been watching you all and he's after your guy. The body language is unmistakable," he said and I closed my eyes to ward off the headache that threatened to come upon me.
"Are you sure you saw him drug the drink?" I asked just to make sure.
"He got the drinks, two margaritas and a what looked like a daiquiri. When the bartender turned around to get something for another customer, he quickly dropped something from a dropper in the red drink and stirred it up," Louis said and I struggled to keep my cool.
"Thanks," I said through gritted teeth.
"What are you gonna do?" Louis asked as he regarded me with seemingly genuine concern.
"You didn't happen to take a pic of him doing it did you?" I asked and he shook his head no. "Then there's nothing I can do but watch him," I said and nodded. He patted me on the back and told me he hoped everything worked out okay before he went over towards the urinals. I left the bathroom to find Bear and Mike back at the table.
"You okay?" Bear asked when I made it back to the table.
"I'm good," I said and smiled so he wouldn't know what was going on in my head.
"You sure?" He asked and I smiled again and winked at him. That did the trick as he smiled back. and went back to his drink. I just had to keep up the pretense a little longer and I'd get my reward.
BEAR'S POV
Mike was talking to me a mile a minute but my attention was on Trey. I had gone to get him another drink and he took it, looked at it like he was considering if he should drink it, looked back at me before shrugging and taking a sip.
Since then he's been sipping the daiquiri through the straw very suggestively while looking at me with very smoldering looks. I tried to pay attention to Mike but all I was able to think about was my promise to him.
I finally couldn't take it anymore and told Mike I wanted to call it a night. He looked disappointed but agreed. He went to pay the tab while I hung back with Trey. He continued to flirt and I fought the urge to jump him right there. I think he knew it too if the smile he gave me was any indication.
When Mike returned, I told them let's go and we headed for the exit. I heard the telltale snort of suppressed laughter behind me and I knew it was Trey. We all hopped in my truck with Mike in the back seat and I drove him home. He got out even though he seemed like he didn't want to. I told him I'd see him later and he nodded before heading to his door. I waited until he was inside before I peeled off. I may have been horny but I was still considerate.
Trey slid over towards me and placed his hand on my thigh. I heard that snort again before he laid his head on my shoulder. We drove on in silence.
Once we arrived back at school, I parked my truck and hopped out really quickly. This time Trey did laugh. He told me to hold my horses before casually strolling toward my dorm. I followed behind ogling his ass along the way.
We made it back to my dorm and got inside without any complications. Once we were inside my room I closed and locked the door. Deacon was supposed to be gone for the weekend but just in case, I went to check out his room and the bathroom and was satisfied we were alone.
"Well, we have the place to ourselves," I said as I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Yeah," Trey said and the deep gravel in his voice surprised me. I turned around and he was staring at me like a predator who had cornered his prey. It turned me on more than I would have expected.
"Trey," I said as I eyed him warily.
"Shh," he said with a finger to his lips as he slowly stalked toward me.
"What are you gonna do?" I asked as he got closer. My breath started to get short and I felt like I was on fire.
"A lot of things. I'm going to do a lot of things to that glorious body of yours once I strip it naked and gaze upon its magnificence," he said in a deep, lust-filled voice as he stopped in front of me and continued to stare at me with the fire in his eyes.
"Trey," I said near breathless now. He'd never done this before. He'd never come after me in this way and if he didn't stop, I was gonna cream my jeans before he even touched me.
"Take me," I snarled and my eyes went wide as I had said it before I even knew it. He didn't even flinch. If anything, the fire in his eyes blazed more as the predatory smile he had grew.
"I will," he said as he reached up and took my hand in his. It was such a tender act considering the heat rising between us. He then headed to my room with me in tow and over to my bed before he gestured for me to stand next to it.
I did and he gently pushed before I fell back to sit on my bed. He walked up to me and hooked his finger under my chin to tilt my head up towards him. The lust and desire for me in his eyes was powerful. Forefront though was the love he felt for me written all over his face.
He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on my lips before motioning for me to move further onto the bed. I followed instructions and waited. He pulled off his shirt and tossed it then undid the button of his pants. He slipped out of them and his shoes leaving on only his underwear and socks.
He slowly walked to the bed and stood there looking down at me and I watched him like he was the only thing in the world to me because at this moment he was. He seemed to know what I was thinking if the smile he aimed at me was any indication. He climbed onto the bed and straddled my waist. I started to speak but he placed a finger to my lips to silence me.
He then started unbuttoning my shirt and I pulled it off. When I was done, he looked over my chest and abs and I felt the heat rise higher between us. He placed his hands on my chest then gingerly dragged his nails down my body. It didn't hurt but it damn sure added fuel to the near inferno going on inside me.
He leaned down and placed another brief kiss on my lips before he raised up and helped me out of my jeans and shoes so we were in the same state of dress. He changed that again by pulling my underwear down until I was only in my socks. He joined me before straddling my waist again, this time with his bare ass planted on my naked and hard dick.
He grinned a mischievous grin before he started sliding up and down my midsection adding splendid friction to my dick. I felt my eyes roll back in my head as he continued this and then starting to pinch and twist my nipples.
"Trey, I'm getting close," I said through gritted teeth as I fought to hold on. I was shocked at how fast he had gotten me to near the finish line.
"Good," he said as he increased the tempo of his movements and increased the torture of my nipples.
"I don't wanna cum like this. I want-" I started to say before he shushed me again with a finger to my lips.
"I know," he said and he gave me another mischievous grin. I wanted more but I guess he had other plans. I was just about to shoot when he stopped and lifted his ass off my dick and let my nipples go. I was so close but he had denied me. When I looked at him, I realized what that grin was about now.
"You bastard," I said breathlessly.
"I know," he said before leaning down and kissing me yet again. When his tongue entered my mouth, I couldn't stop the moan that was muffled by our kiss.
The kiss lasted for a bit before he raised up again and moved away from me. He opened the drawer to my nightstand where he knew to find the lube. He moved back up to me and flipped the cap. The sound made my dick jump which he noticed and raised an eyebrow at me.
He motioned for me to pull my legs up which I obliged and eagerly awaited his lubed fingers. It didn't take long before I was rewarded when he slipped a slick finger into my ass. It was uncomfortable at first but I quickly adjusted, especially when he found my button.
He stroked it and I let loose an "oh fuck" as I felt my hole clamp down on his finger. He massaged it and I let loose with a steady stream of moans and as I looked down, a steady stream of precum as well. He pulled one finger out and inserted two, then three as he worked to open me up.
When he was sure I was ready he pulled his fingers out and gripped my straining dick. He jerked it a few times to gather the precum that had drenched my dick during his ass play.
He used it to slick up his dick and added some lube just to be sure before lining up with my hole. He pushed in and at first there was a slight pain as Trey was thick but as he got further in the pain transformed into amazing pleasure. Once he had bottomed out, he let out a moan as did I. He leaned forward and kissed me again.
"Ready to go for a ride?" He said as he looked into my eyes with a cheesy grin.
"Ride em cowboy," I said and we both chuckled a bit.
He pulled out and pushed back in slowly a few times to let me get used to him. I nodded to give him the go-ahead to go full throttle and he did. He fucked my hole like a jackhammer and had me moaning and grunting and cursing up a storm. I gripped the sheets in a tight grip as he started hitting my prostate on every inward thrust. This was one deal that I was glad I'd made.
He slowed down and ground his hips and dug into my ass further if that was even possible. He leaned down and I reached up to capture his lips before he'd even reached me all the way. As we kissed, he fucked me slowly. He reached between us and gripped my dick but didn't jerk it. He just loosened and tightened his grip on every third or fourth slow thrust.
The pleasure was so intense that I was simultaneously trying to get away from it and get more of him in me as I worked my ass muscles. He then pulled out and rammed back in again hard which brought a yelp out of me. He chuckled into our kiss. He did it again and again and I begged him to keep going.
He did and that got me near the finish line in no time flat. I think he could tell as he increased his thrusts and I saw his eyes roll in the back of his head. He grabbed my dick in a tight grip and gave it a single jerk and I shot off like a rocket shooting jizz all over my face, chest, and belly. He leaned his head back and practically roared his climax as he came in my ass.
He collapsed on top of me out of breath while still keeping up with shallow thrusts in and out. He eventually stopped completely and we laid still trying to catch out breaths. I held him and he didn't move for which I was grateful.
"Promises kept," he said and I couldn't help but chuckle at him. He joined in and we laughed to bring ourselves back down from the clouds.
"Thank you," I said as I hugged him tighter again me.
"What for?" He asked as he trailed a finger along my shoulder.
"For rocking my world," I said and he chuckled again.
"Corny," he mumbled. I pulled him close to me in a tight hug and delighted in the fact that I had such an amazing guy that loved me as much as Trey did. I reminded myself of the vow I'd made to him and I was intent on keeping it.
To be continued...
Author's Note:
Hello all and welcome back finally to another chapter of The Chronicles of Trey.
We've made it past whole ugly "Baby Daddy Bear" saga with the boys still mostly intact. Now thing move forward in their relationship and their lives. Trey's still busy and Bear is still determined to ease his burden.
This chapter we learn a little more about Mike and the part he will play in the story. Bear and Trey also finally go clubbing, underage clubbing but still. We also learn about yet another of Justice's talents (will we ever see the end of her font on knowledge).
Trey meets a new friend who may have a part in the story as well. I haven't figured out yet if that will be the case, but I have a couple of ideas if I choose to go that route.
Anyway, I hope everybody enjoys this chapter and please excuse the delay. It was a long hot summer and not in a good way. Please feel free to send me an email with any comments to thestoryguy9783@gmail.com
Until next time... Nicky
Editor's Note:
Welcome back guys to another chapter in Trey and Bear's lives. Looks like we had some set up for some plots to come. Mike's attempt to drug Trey at the bar was foiled luckily thanks to Trey's new friend Louis seeing Mike put something in his drink. Wonder want Mike's back story is and when Trey will tell Bear or if Bear will find out about Mike's attempts himself.
Looks like Justice really is a `jack of all trades' being able to make fake ID's for the guys. I'm interested to see if she has any other hidden talents for us to learn about. Plus, we will get proof positive that Prue is Bear's daughter thanks to his dad being his usual self.
Hope you are all enjoying the weather changes if any of you live in an area that had big changes from the summer to the fall. Hopefully we won't have long to wait for the next one.
If you see anything in the chapter that I could have miss in the editing let me know at jd.kaster1987@gmail.com and be sure to let Nicky know what you thought of the chapter at the email address above.
Until then...
