The Human Bearer

Riordan moved his eyes from Drato to Cario and back again at the Xeno. "What do you mean by that?" he asked directly, hoping that his informal manner of speech when it came to his interactions with the powerful beings in charge of things wouldn't ruffle the snakeman's feathers or scales too much.

"They are fighting because all Xenos are competitive," Drato explained, although it appeared that he was trying to find the right words to elucidate the situation for some mere humans to understand. "The reason, at the moment, is the order in which their bearer should carry their eggs."

Cario caressed his Xeno husband's cheek lightly, as if he was trying to soothe him. Only then, Riordan noticed that Drato's pupils were enlarged and his nostrils were flaring. Could it be that the earlier display of violence had put him in a mood, as well? It was likely, and Riordan felt it in his bones. There was a certain hunger in Drato, the kind that wouldn't be denied.

Riordan looked at Cario, observing his every move. Whatever was happening to Drato, Cario was doing his best to address, but it was unclear whether he was successful or not. A low hiss rose from Drato's throat and he grabbed Cario hard, pressing his lips against his bearer's mouth.

"Drato," Cario whispered, "let's wait."

The snakeman moved brusquely, pushing his bearer out of the way. Cario staggered for a moment but regained his balance, and he appeared to have witnessed such displays from his alien husband before.

Riordan's eyes grew wide as Drato made a short gesture and the room split in two, a solid wall erecting between them and the side with the water tank in which the two Xenolites were now playing. How had he done that?

He squirmed under Drato's hot gaze that rested on him. "Bearer," he said in a tone that brooked no contradiction, "undress."

"Riordan, I'm so sorry," Cario whispered. "Drato, please, you must understand--"

Cario's words were cut short by an angry hiss. Whatever Drato had to say to his bearer, mind to mind, wasn't too nice, by how Cario's smooth face turned into a frown. And then, he removed his robe and tried to get Drato to embrace him.

The snakeman pushed him towards Riordan. "Both of you, show yourselves."

Riordan had a mind to tell the guy off, but Cario's pleading eyes convinced him to play nice. Outside, the ruckus was far from dying down, and there was a freaking wall between him and Junior.

Cario helped him out of his robe and then kissed his cheek, one of his hands moving lower and caressing Riordan's belly in soft circles.

"Display your bodies," Drato ordered shortly.

Did they have to put on a show for this guy? Riordan looked at Drato over Cario's shoulder. "Wouldn't be easier to watch porn?" he suggested.

Drato hissed at him. "Do not provoke me, Earthian. Obey me now, or the consequences will be dire."

"He won't do anything," Cario whispered in Riordan's ear. "Unless we satiate his hunger for now."

That was weird as fuck. Cario was caressing the inside of his thighs, coaxing him into opening his legs. No way. Riordan made Cario yelp when he grabbed the guy and put him on all fours.

"Hey, big scary Xeno," he said, "do you want to fuck your lovely wife? I don't mind watching the two of you."

Cario inhaled sharply, and Riordan could taste his fear, but he hadn't come this far with this alien lot by playing nice or obeying the rules Xenos thought set in stone. He smacked Cario's ass and then grabbed his round butt cheeks, pulling them apart. He'd apologize to Cario later, but he needed to focus Drato's attention on the one he truly wanted.

The snakeman moved fast, but Riordan wasn't that taken by surprise. He wasn't ready, however, for being grabbed by the ass while Drato pushed into his bearer's hot hole. Riordan looked down, feeling his cock twitching. The sight of that big cock disappearing in Cario's round ass was too damn much.

Like it was their style, Drato moved his tail to feed it to Cario from the front. Riordan could taste Cario's humiliation at being fucked like that in front of his friend. He felt ashamed alright, but his moans also told the story of how much he enjoyed it, too. Cario, so put together all the time, so serene, made kinky slurping sounds while devouring his husband's naughty tail.

Riordan felt the muscled alien tail rubbing against his back as it got in and out Cario's mouth. The friction alone was enough to make him hot. Damn these aliens. He grabbed Drato's chest and searched for one nipple. Maybe if he pinched the guy, it would make him come faster and end Cario's humiliation.

Drato stopped for a moment and his eyes clashed with Riordan's stare. "I can see why Xana was willing to end himself for you," he said in a low ragged voice. "Bear in mind that it is only because of how highly I think of him that I don't force you on all fours to join my beautiful bearer in offering your holes for me to invade and your bellies to fill with my eggs."

"Wow, you're great at speeches," Riordan breathed out. He needed to keep himself together, because he was growing way too horny under that alien gaze. "But thanks, I guess."

"For this reason, Cario will receive both eggs now," Drato said brusquely and released Riordan. "If you wish to help him, hold his belly."

"What? Are you... right now?"

Riordan hurried by Cario's side and his eyes met his friend's for a moment. They were wet and hazy.

Please help me, Riordan.

How? Tell me how.

Do as he says... I am so wet, so willing... but not so ready...

"Hey, Drato," Riordan said, "your wifey here needs some preparation first."

What do you need, Cario?

I'm so ashamed to ask you this... Once he transfers the first egg, please arrange it to one side with your hand... Drato might break it if I asked him... He's too strong and I'm afraid...

Riordan took one deep breath. He was basically assisting with an impregnation. Not exactly how he had planned to spend his day upon waking up in the morning, but there he was.

"Drato," he said in a stern voice, hoping to cut through the horny fog on the alien's brain, "you put the first in, and then you wait while I help Cario with adjusting to it. Got it? No, don't hiss at me. I'm trying to help here. And you like your bearer as he is, right? No broken ass and all?"

There was some sort of acquiescence from the snakeman, and Riordan proceeded to holding Cario's belly as the egg was being transferred. Riordan felt his hair stand on end and his lower body going crazy in a different way as he had no choice but to listen to the sounds Drato was making during the egg transfer. He had heard Xana doing the same when Junior got inside his belly for safekeeping. Now, only listening to those pleasure-pained noises, his ass was getting weirdly wet.

He shook his head, to clear it of any strange thoughts. The animal inside him wanted to put himself up and allow another egg inside his belly. But he loved Xana, and the animal inside him needed to understand that. As soon as his husband was out of Ferix's med bay, Riordan planned on jumping him and asking to be filled with another egg.

Drato withdrew, and his cry of pain cut through Riordan's mind like a knife. He hurried to put one hand inside Cario's ass, wet with seth and cum. He had never done this and hoped he was on the right track. So strange to feel the egg like that. Xana had played with it, arranging it inside his belly during that time, but he had used his tail, and now he could tell that Drato's was still in Cario's mouth, probably helping him with seth during the impregnation.

"Cario, how is it?" he asked. "Do you feel that it is in the right place?" He had the other hand on Cario's belly, and he could make out the shape of the egg already in there. It was definitely small compared to how big it would grow inside the bearer's body, but not an easy thing to accommodate.

Yes, it is now. Thank you, Riordan. You can allow Drato to put in the second.

"Free to go," Riordan said. "Wifey's ready for your second brat."

Drato didn't wait another moment. He was all over Cario, this time holding him close, as he pushed himself down to the hilt inside him. Riordan was still holding Cario's belly and understood why getting twins in there could be a dangerous thing for the eggs. Drato was no longer in control of how hard he was fucking his bearer. His long cock was going in and out like a piston until the guy stopped and Riordan felt as the second egg was moving to join its sibling. He used both hands to make it land in the opposite side, so that they didn't break due to the impact.

Cario fell on the bed, trembling and crying, not in pain, but in ecstasy, sounds that made Riordan feel a deep ache in his belly, too. Damn, Xana better come home fast, he thought as he moved away.

I'm so sorry you had to be here.

Come on, man, don't sweat it. By the way, congrats on getting preggo again.

Cario began laughing softly. He extended one arm and caught Riordan's hand with his. "Thank you," he said in a whisper.

Riordan laughed, too, mostly in relief. Damn, it was like dodging a bullet, or, in this case, an egg. He got up and grabbed his robe. Drato was now by Cario's side, caressing his head and kissing his face in what seemed like an apology.

As he dressed up, Riordan walked to the door, listening in. Finally, it seemed like the danger had been averted for now.

"Sorry to bother you, guys, but I should get going." And maybe ask for a new audience with the big kahuna. Marn had some explaining to do, although Riordan wouldn't put it in those terms. However, having a bunch of Xenolites getting overly enthusiastic because a fight had broken out in front of them was something that troubled him. Junior was growing so fast, and it was quite possible that he wouldn't be able to control the little guy for long, using physical force. This species was a tough kind to deal with, and Riordan needed just the right amount of guidance. Preferably, from the guy in charge.

Drato got up from the bed and threw a blanket over his exhausted bearer. Then, he made the wall fall with a single gesture, as before. Like Gamni Gafilos had created that parasite to latch on to the wall of Tu'lek. That painful memory made Riordan tremble for a moment.

To his relief, Junior and Dario were playing together, oblivious to what grownups had just been up to until moments ago. Riordan walked over and called out his son's name. He pursed his lips as Junior ignored him, caught as he was in competing with Dario to see who was the fastest at swimming from one end of the tank to the other. Seeing how the thing was small compared to the one Junior had at home, they were just making rounds and rounds, chasing each other.

"Do you require my help?" Drato asked.

He appeared completely undisturbed for having just delivered two shiny new eggs to his bearer's belly. His face was serene, and his eyes clear. It was the first time Riordan noticed that the guy was older than Xana. Not as old as Marn or Xeus, but definitely not among the younger Xenos on the ship.

"I think I can manage," Riordan said and pulled one sleeve up to get his arm into the water.

Junior, however, had other plans, and slid away from under his hand, paying no attention to him.

"Junior," Riordan said in a reproachful voice. He had no intention to get out of his robe again and get inside the tank to chase the little guy.

Drato seemed to understand the situation. His arm moved incredibly fast and he grabbed Junior by his tail. Normally, Riordan would have protested at this kind of behavior towards his child but Drato meant the boy no harm, only using that to get him out of the water and into his parent's arms, with his head down first.

Junior hissed and struggled, but Riordan bundled him quickly in his arms. "What's the matter with you? Didn't you hear me?"

"They are still under the influence of the earlier fight," Drato explained. "You must take him soon to His Royal Chancellor. His calling might be that of a warrior."

"Taking after grandpa, I see," Riordan commented and pressed the dark-haired head against his shoulder.

"Xana has made for an excellent diplomat from a young age," Drato said courteously. It was difficult to imagine that the guy had been so harsh in his demands only earlier. "But his grandsire's blood runs true in his Xenolite's veins. I see leadership in his future."

"And I see a bit of spanking in his immediate future," Riordan said, although he didn't mean it.

Junior, however, seemed to take his words at face value, because he looked directly at him and pursed his lips together.

Don't spank me, dada!

Riordan felt mellowed out on the spot. Junior didn't even know what spanking was, but he was obviously afraid of seeing his usually loving parent so keen on exacting some punishment for his behavior. Maybe it was wrong to give in so quickly, but Riordan could tolerate no distress whatsoever from his little one.

So, he kissed the boy's forehead and hugged him tightly. "I was just saying. Let's get home to grandpa. Say bye to Dario."

Xeus would definitely have his two cents to give on the whole deal. Riordan wasn't sure he would like what he was going to hear from the older Xeno, but it was a learning process. After all, he had an alien child, and that meant that Junior would be quite different from human kids, not that Riordan knew a whole lot about those, either.

Xeus was inside their quarters when he arrived, so Riordan began dishing out everything about the fight he had witnessed and what happened after, leaving aside his role in helping Cario and Drato get two new Xenolites on the way. Since these aliens could read human minds, Riordan forced himself to talk quickly to prevent his mind from supplying details that wouldn't help anyone in any way.

"The Xenolites on the ship must witness such events in an organized fashion," Xeus said shortly, as soon as Riordan stopped to breathe.

"Aren't they a little too young for this kind of thing? Don't you have any PG-13 shows, more appropriate for their age?"

Xeus gave him a stern look. "They grow up faster here. They need to be ready."

"Ready for what?" Riordan asked. Junior, in his efforts to avoid that spanking, a terrible new word for him, was doing his best to get into his mommy's good graces by kissing Riordan's cheek and cuddling against him.

Xeus remained silent.

"Father," Riordan said, "you need to stop keeping me in the dark. By the way, maybe you don't think of what just happened as much, but Junior could have been hurt in that mess. I barely got him out of there, and you know there's only this much this human body of mine can do. I could barely control the boy."

"There are things only His Royal Chancellor can talk about. It is his right," Xeus replied.

"Fine. Then I'll leave the boy with you. I hope Marn is going to enlighten me on the subject. Especially since we, bearers, are part of it all, and it's not like we can pack our things and go if we don't like how things are run around here."

To his relief, Xeus didn't tell him not to go and just took Junior from his arms. He watched for a few moments as Junior explained to his grandpa through gestures and mind telling, what he had witnessed. Junior's face looked riveted with the memory of the fight, and Riordan felt an unfamiliar squeeze on his heart. How well did he really know his and Xana's son?

"They surely grow up fast," he said with a sigh before walking out.

The guards knew him by now, and the great relief was that they didn't deny him entrance. Marn was at his station, probably observing the aftermath of the incident, by how focused he appeared to be.

"I guess you know what happened," Riordan said without any introduction.

"Yes, and our number is growing," Marn said with satisfaction.

Riordan frowned. Drato had just impregnated Cario under his eyes, and with his help. Had similar things happened around Tu'lek? Now that explained a thing or two.

"Wait," he said, "you wanted this to happen?"

"Let's say that it worked to our advantage," Marn replied. "With Tanez still far, I have encountered reluctance on some of the Xenos' part regarding getting their bearers with new Xenolites. Their concern had to be addressed."

Riordan's eyes grew wide. "By making that concern disappear because they got too horny to control themselves?"

"I see that you understand," Marn said, appearing much pleased.

"But why? Why not let nature follow its course?"

"That is exactly what's happening, Riordan. This is nature following its course, as you say. The Xenos on this ship must multiply."

"On this ship? Wait, but you said that there were no others."

Marn shrugged. "We cannot be so sure. But telling everyone that they're the hope and purpose of our species, that appears to work well, don't you think? Make them feel unique, special."

Riordan blinked a couple of times while gathering his thoughts. "Are we in some kind of competition with other ships? And you must feel them." He nodded as realization dawned on him. "Because you have this big brain and you know they're out there."

Marn smiled like a teacher satisfied with his pupil's progress. "Yes, Riordan. And there's no way of telling how many they are. Not even my big brain can tell me that. Reestablishing the proper order once we get to Tanez is paramount. And Tu'lek is a big ship, but not the fastest."

Riordan shook his head as his mind hurried to connect the dots. "Are you telling me that we'll have to fight other Xenos once we get there? Why? Aren't you all a big happy species?"

Marn grinned slyly. "And what gave you that impression?"

Riordan frowned. "This is a race for power, isn't it? It's all because you want to still be the big guy in charge once we're there."

"You disappoint me now, Riordan. What rung of the ladder do you want your Junior to be on? We, Xenos, have our elites and a structure as a society. Forcing the most deserving into a lower position creates the perfect conditions for a revolution. A bloody revolution," he added.

Riordan caught his head in his hands, trying to process everything he was hearing. "Is there no other way? What's going to happen? We get there, and our army of Xenolites needs to fight the others?"

"It's nothing as simple as that. But asserting dominance is the foundation of our genetic makeup. I will ensure that we will be successful."

"I don't know if I can believe you," Riordan said, his head reeling from those sudden revelations. "Why even tell me all this?"

Marn's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Why even ask me this?" he mimicked Riordan's words. "Your curiosity is astonishing, Riordan Lei. You discover something, and you never let go. How is that Earthian saying? Like a dog with a bone. I'd rather have you looped in than cry out `we're in freaking space', which brought upon you that punishment from our commander. You must forgive Kanto. He doesn't understand you the way I do."

"You're so buttering me up right now, and I know you understand my words precisely. I don't even know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything. You must, as I do, allow nature to follow its course. By the way, your young Xeus will be the greatest warrior of our species. I can feel him growing to become what he is destined to be."

"Oh, boy," Riordan mumbled, not knowing what else he could add to something like that.
