Getting Eric ready to go back to school was about the same as preparing an adolescent for his first year of High School. He didn't need many clothes, but he wanted to be totally prepared so he could get a headstart out of the gate.
He had been using my computer, but really needed his own, so he shopped for one, getting a state-of-the-art system. I brought home every conceivable software package from the office, and he loaded everything he thought he'd need. His "study" was as immaculate and orderly as my office was a mess.
Somehow, he had convinced his counselors at school that he could handle a really heavy load, and was set to take 23 units, a more than ambitious undertaking. I just hoped that he could handle it. His argument for such a heavy schedule was logical. He'd been taking a full load while working almost full time, and he wouldn't be subject to the peer pressure to party and chase girls, or boys, for that matter.
Mostly, I tried to stay out of his way.
After his first day, we were sitting in the den, him stretched out with his head in my lap, discussing his day. "I don't think this is going to be as hard as I expected," he said. "Most days, I'll be out of class by two o'clock in the afternoon so I can come home and get most of my work done before you get home." He wiggled his head suggestively in my lap to let me know what he was thinking about.
"We agreed that school comes first," I reminded him.
"During the day, maybe," he said. "But at night, YOU come first, or, maybe you'll let me cum first," he giggled.
Since our cruise, our sexual habits had changed quite a bit. We fucked each other a LOT! Very quickly, Eric had developed an insatiable appetite for my cock inside him. Every time, it got better - for both of us.
That first time had been hell for me. It just happened, I didn't plan it, but as soon as I had committed myself, all the old fears of inadequacy surfaced. I wondered if I could stay hard long enough to get inside him. I wondered if I could stay hard long enough to give him the pleasure that he so generously gave me. Every possible scenario, all negative, had passed through my mind.
Seeing his face as I was about to enter him had been the turning point for me. The love, the confidence, and the want in his eyes made me forget all the negative things I had been thinking, with animal lust taking over. He felt so good as I worked my way in. Tight but not painfully so, and as soon as the head of my dick was inside, he seemed to just suction the rest of me into him.
For the first several minutes, I was totally caught up in the physical sensations, how good his body felt enveloping me, and how good he was making my dick feel. That had all changed when I kissed him. I became one with him and shared the pleasure that was being given and received. Never before had I really wanted to be on top, but this was different, so different in fact, that I didn't want to spoil the moment by reaching orgasm and had to really fight to keep it from happening prematurely.
There were so many things involved. His body turned me on immensely, his dick rubbing between us was unbelievably stimulating, and the love that I felt for him was overwhelming.
In the beginning, my objective had been to please Eric, but that changed too. In addition, I found how much pleasure I was RECEIVING from this, emotionally as well as physically. Damn, it felt SO good!
The second time had proven that it hadn't been a fluke. I more than enjoyed the experience, and even thinking about it got my dick twitching. Wow, what a change!
I could sense a change in Eric, too. He seemed more content, more confident about my love for him. It was so much more than just a physical act that we performed together. It brought us closer, something I didn't think possible.
We had never really talked about our sexual activities. Both of us seemed to sense what the other wanted or needed and verbal communication just hadn't seemed necessary. That night, for the first time, we discussed it in detail.
"I really love your dick," he told me.
"I wish it was bigger," I answered. "We're all size queens, or liars, you know."
"Sure, it's fun to fantasize about a humongous dong, but reality is different," he said. "You'd be surprised at how many guys took a look at mine, shook their heads, and ran. A couple of guys considered it a challenge to take it all, but nobody's treated it the way you have."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You just took it, and me, in stride. No comments about how 'big' I am, or that I'm some kind of freak," he said. "Then, when you deep throated ALL of me, I couldn't believe it. Nobody had ever done that, and I've been in heaven ever since."
"You really like that?" I chuckled.
"I like everything we do together," he said, "but the sensations you give me when I feel my dick going down your throat are unbelievable. It's kind of like achieving the impossible, something I never thought I'd experience."
"I've got to admit that I didn't think I could do it," I said. "T it just happened that day up in the hills, and, when I learned that I could, it was as exciting for me as I guess it is for you."
"You like it?" he asked. "Doesn't it hurt?"
"Hell no, it doesn't hurt," I said, "and it turns me on no end. Having your dick deep in me is such a thrill. I can't get enough of you. There's something about having you in my mouth that literally transports me to heights I didn't know were there."
"I know what you mean," he said, "I feel the same way with you in my mouth. I just wish I could get that last half inch."
"What you do with what you do swallow is more than enough." I said. "You have the most talented tongue in the universe!"
Rising up, he said "Let's knock off this talk and have some action. I NEED you in my mouth right now. Can't you see me salivating?" He stuck out his tongue at me, dripping, as he stood and pulled me to my feet.
It was a long session. He turned on the "velvet blender" but would back off when I got close, then it would be my turn. While I was sucking him, he didn't let up, stroking my dick lightly, keeping me at fever pitch. After switching back and forth several times, he suggested that we try a 69 to see if we could cum simultaneously. It worked, but when I came, it was so intense that I was afraid I'd bite him.
After that, we agreed that it had been fun, but distracting. In the future we would only try for mutual blastoff when we were fucking when we almost always blew within a few seconds of each other.
Eric threw himself into his studies with a vengeance but he always had time for me, which I cherished.
Not wanting to just sit around and feel neglected, I went to the office every day. Perfect timing. For a change there were things that actually needed my attention.
Since its inception, Metalco's growth had mostly been internal. Our basic metal fabrication had branched out and expanded into new product areas, and we had only purchased other companies that would extend or broaden our market share, and there had been few of those.
We were growing, our profitability reached new levels every year, but times were changing. Possible stagnation was not an option. We were in a position to move, and the time seemed right. Bill, Annie and several other top people had been scouting, and had found several candidates that met our enormously high standards. Since I owned the company outright, it was my decision whether we moved ahead or not.
I guess I'm pretty conservative, but we had huge amounts of cash that weren't being used to full advantage and had never used the credit lines that were available, so the idea of going shopping was pretty appealing.
They had narrowed it down to five prospects. Before presenting the idea to me, they had really done their homework. I was presented with huge reports on each company, all at the same time. I'd have to study harder than Eric!
I took them to my office, put the stack on the conference table, unopened. Sitting down and regarding the pile, I decided on another approach. Shit, it would take me a month to digest all that. I went to my computer and sent them all an Email requesting a three page summary on each prospective purchase. "Three things are important, as I see it," I wrote. "Why should we buy it, what are the financial advantages, and what is the worst case scenario if we do?"
I told Eric about what had happened. He wanted to know which companies we were considering. When I told him, he whistled. "Damn, you're talking some REAL money there!"
"We're not going to buy them all," I said. "At least, I don't think so."
A few days later, the summaries were ready, and it didn't take long to pick out two of the companies as my favorites. One was a fabricator of metal computer parts - racks, CPU and Printer cases and other Personal Computer related items. The other was a real estate investment company. I went on to read the huge reports on these two.
The computer parts company was an old-line metal fabricator who had moved into the high tech field at the inception of the Computer age. They were well established and solid, but, over the past few years, had become stagnant. This, the commentary explained, was because the family who owned the company had become complacent and were unwilling to bring in outside, ambitious, management. Their potential for growth was phenominal, but unrealized. The owners, it appeared, had put out feelers about selling. It would be a perfect fit with our manufacturing expertise and agressive sales abilities.
The real estate investment firm was the plaything of a well-known, flambuoyant entrepreneur. He was getting tired of it, and the company's performance reflected his lack of attention. He wanted a big, splashy sale to get back in the business headlines and get rid of something that he no longer had much interest in. The only problem that I could see here was that he might have a rather inflated idea of the value of the company.
The company's properties were mostly hotels, managed by prestigious chains. Some were old, but most were newer, and all were highly leveraged. The report's commentary pointed out that we could re-finance at much more favorable rates, do a little upgrading, and, with minimal increases in occupancy rates, be provided with a very respectable return on investment if we could buy the company at a reasonable price. There was also the prospect of appreciation in value because of the prime locations that the company owned.
That night, I told Eric about my choices, getting excited about the prospect of new challenges. He picked up on my excitement, and asked if I would let him read the reports - all five of them. I agreed, promising to have copies made for him, but wondering when he would have time to read them.
"What's the next step?" he asked.
"We call in the investment bankers and lawyers," I told him.
"Why don't you do it yourself?" he asked. "Not only save some money, but I'll bet you could do a better job."
"That's just not the way it's done," I said.
"Why not?" he asked. "The investment bankers are in it for the huge fees they charge, and the lawyers are deal-killers from the start. Why not make a deal with the sellers, then bring in the attorneys to put it all together? Dad's a lawyer, remember. I know how it works."
It was definitely an idea worth considering. Unconventional, but, it might work, and be a lot of fun in the process. I'd think about it.
"Enough business for tonight," he said. "I've got an itch that only you can scratch."
I reached for his gorgeous, hard buns and massaged them.
"Here?" I asked.
"Oh yeah," he moaned. "Harder, faster, deeper."
I called a meeting of the acquisition team and told them about my choices. After a lot of discussion, it was agreed that we would proceed with these two, and probably consider the others at some future date.
"Which investment banking house do you want to use?" Bill asked.
"That's another idea I wanted to discuss," I said. "Let's do it ourselves." I looked around at a lot of baffled expressions.
"We're dealing with a family and an individual," I continued. "Why don't we contact them directly, see if we can put a deal together, then have it all put together by the attorneys. I know it'll be a lot of extra work for us, but think of how many millions we might be able to save. I'm willing to devote full time to the project myself, starting now. Think about it"
As the meeting broke up, I could see a lot of minds at work. Bill stayed.
"That wasn't my idea," I told him. "It was Eric's."
"It's growing on me already," he said, chuckling. "That guy is amazing. He's making you your old daring self again. It's real nice to see. I think things are going to be a lot more fun around here."
"I feel young again," I said, "and yes, he is amazing, in more ways than you can imagine."
"I don't want to know," he laughed, holding up his hand.
"What're you guys doing Friday night?" he asked, changing the subject.
"Nothing that I know of," I answered. "We're real homebodies these days."
"How about coming over for dinner, just the four of us?" he asked.
"Sounds great to me, but I'll have to check with Eric," I said.
"Let me know, OK?" he said.
"I will," I answered.
Even though they were very involved in the "social" scene, Bill and Sandy were two of the least pretentious people I knew. Sandy came by it naturally, coming from a very old, very rich, San Francisco family. Bill was just Bill, comfortable in any situation thrown at him.
Over cocktails, we discussed business, mainly the major purchases we were contemplating. Eric was very much a part of the conversation, offering comments and questions that I, at least, had never considered. Both Bill and I couldn't help but pay close attention to what he said.
"You know more about those outfits than I do," Bill said to him. "Where did you pick up all that information?"
"It's amazing what you can find on the Internet," Eric said. "There's also a great Business library at school, and I read the reports Dave brought home."
Turning to me, Bill said "When's this guy going to work for us? We could sure use somebody like him."
"I don't think so," Eric interrupted. "I need to do my 'own thing' when I get out of school. Maybe someday when nepotism won't be so obvious."
"Forget that!" Bill said. "I'd like to have you 'on board' based on your abilities, not because of Dave here. That's a standing offer, and I hope someday you'll consider it."
"I will," Eric said. "Thank you. I'd like to get a little experience someplace else first. Try my wings, so to speak, then maybe it would work."
Over dinner, the conversation turned to our "cruise". Eric recounted our experiences with the "Texas Widows" and had us all laughing.
Sandy reminded me that the "Jewel of the Sea Ball" was coming up in a few weeks, and that our presence was expected. It was her pet project, and I'd been roped into going every year. It was the charity-social event of the year, and I knew she wouldn't take 'no' for an answer.
I looked at Eric. He was cornered, but his reaction surprised me.
"Sure, we'll be there," he said, "Do we have to bring 'dates'?"
Chuckling, Sandy said "You can if you want to, but you don't have to. Dave has been dragging Carol Manning along for the past few years."
Looking at me, Eric said "You know HER? The beautiful brainy news anchor? I don't know if I can stand the competition!"
"She's always up for a free meal," I said, "and the spotlight."
"I don't think you ever have to worry about competition," Sandy added, to Eric.
I decided to change the subject. Eric and I could talk about the "Ball" later and decide what we wanted to do.
"How's Brian doing?" I asked. I could feel Eric tense up when I mentioned his name.
"He's back in school," Bill said, "but he's not very happy, I gather. He's in New Haven and Billy's here. I can just imagine the phone bills!"
"That serious?" Eric asked, seeming to relax a little on learning that Brian was "attached."
"Very serious," Sandy said. "They were inseparable from the moment they met at your house. I think Brian's totally in love for the first time."
"This is kind of new to us," Bill said. "We really don't know how to act around them. Got any tips?"
"It sounds to me like whatever you're doing is the right thing," I said, "otherwise, Brian wouldn't feel comfortable enough to bring Billy home to meet Mom and Dad."
"Just 'be there' for him, is all I can add," Eric said.
"We're adjusting," Bill said, "and they have our full support."
On the way home, I asked Eric "Are you really OK with the 'Ball' thing?"
"Hell yes," he said. "We can act straight for one night! Are you going to take Carol?"
"Only if you want me to, and if you have someone you want to take," I said. "It won't be like a 'date' or anything like tha There's a mob of people, dinner, a few speeches, then some dancing. Mostly an opportunity to see and be seen."
"I've got somebody in mind," he said. "Let's do it! It might even be fun. Does Carol know you're gay?"
"Oh yes," I said. "She knows, and appreciates the attention.
Afterall, I AM an eligible bachelor."
"Not any more," he said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're not a 'bachelor' any more, you're TAKEN," he said. "You're MINE."
When we got home, he translated his words into action. I think we set a record for being joined together. He was on top, stroking into me slowly, building, then backing off, then repeating the process. His stamina was amazing, and I was the happy recipient. Sensing that I was no longer in control, he got down to the short strokes. Both sweating profusely, he poured a mighty load into me and I sprayed all over our chests.
When the afterglow subsided, we talked.
There was something that I'd been wondering about, so I just blurted it out. "Are we having enough sex, for you?" I asked.
He raised up on his elbow and looked me in the eye. "What do you think?" he asked.
"I don't know, that's why I'm asking," I said. "Afterall, you're twenty years younger than I am, and I remember my needs at your age were pretty enormous. I'm just wondering if you're satisfied."
"Let me tell you something," he said, very seriously. "I've been having sex with guys since I was about 15, sometimes three or four times a night, but that can't compare with just once a night or even once a week with you. We make love whenever we feel like it, which is almost every night, and it's so much more satisfying and fulfilling than anything I've ever experienced that I don't think I could take any more."
"Then you're OK with the way things are?" I asked.
"More than OK," he said. "I don't ever want to take what we have for granted. I love you, and making love with you makes me feel closer to you every time we do it."
"I just want you to be happy," I said, taking him into my arms.
"I want you to be happy too," he said. "Are YOU getting enough?"
I couldn't help but laugh. I was "getting" more than I ever had in my life, and enjoying every minute of it. The important thing was that he was satisfied. I sure was. "Nah," I said, "I have to jack off every day or so."
"Seriously?" he asked, sitting up. "That's something I haven't done since I met you."
"I haven't either," I told him.
"We never finished our conversation about dick size the other night," he said, leering. "Other things got in the way. You might be a little smaller than I am, but you can sure tickle all the important parts with it. Never, never, ever, feel that you can't please me. I'm really glad that you're not as big as I am. I don't think I could handle it, particularly the way you handle mine."
"That kind of flattery will get you someplace!" I said.
"I hope so. I want you in me right now," he said squeezing my rising dick.
Monday, Bill pulled me aside in the hallway. "The more I think about what Eric had to say the other night, the more I realize how much we could use him. We need somebody with a fresh perspective, and that guy's got it."
"I don't think you know how independent his is," I said. 'He'd do it if I asked him to, but I won't."
"Would it make any difference if I talked to him?" he asked.
"I don't know, but you can go ahead and try," I said.
I brainstormed with the "team" on how best to approach the owners of the companies we wanted to buy. We considered several scenarios, worked them to death, and didn't come up with anything that everybody could agree on.
"Let's take the direct approach," I suggested. "Get their phone numbers, I'll make an appointment, and just ask them straight-out if they're for sale, and if so, how much."
"That would be novel," Annie piped up. "I didn't think anybody did that!"
"Why not?" Bill asked. "If anybody could pull it off, it's you, Dave."
"Let's do it," I said, ending the meeting.
As they filed out, I heard someone mutter "I can't BELIEVE we're doing this!"
I had the phone numbers in a few hours, and made the calls.
Unbelievably, I got through to them without a lot of hassle and appointments were set for the following week. Now, I would really have to go to work. I didn't want to show up unprepared. They meant trips out of town, Rene, with the Real Estate Company was in Las Vegas, and the Miltons were in New Jersey.
After his usual, affectionate, "hello", Eric said "I got a call today. Bill's really serious about my going to work for Metalco."
"I know," I said, "and it'd be a helluva lot cheaper to me if you did."
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"If you were on the payroll, I wouldn't have to pay you for your advice," I said.
"What advice?" he asked.
"I took your suggestion to leave out the Bankers, and if it works, it'll save us millions. Now, I'm going to have to give them to you," I told him.
"It was just an idea," he said.
"And a damned good one, too," I said. "I'm meeting with them next week. The appointments are all set. I'm seeing Rene in Las Vegas Tuesday and the Miltons in New Jersey on Friday. Any chance that you could skip school next Friday and go with me?"
"Damn, you don't waste any time, do you?" he said. "Let me think about Friday, I'd love to go."
I spent the rest of the week studying. I knew that these meetings would be preliminary, but I wanted to be prepared. As much information as was publicly available on these people was collected, and I got a pretty good idea of who I would be dealing with.
Rene de Thierry's offices were in a highrise just off the strip. He was a transplanted Frenchman who had done well, and from the looks of things "gone Hollywood". The office I was ushered into was garish, to put it mildly. Oversized abstracts covered the walls and there were neon sculptures in hideous colors everyplace. Rene himself wasn't much of an improvement. The hairy paw that I shook stuck out of a Hawaiian Luau shirt.
Pleasantries were exchanged, and from the vibes I was getting, I was sure he was gay as hell.
When I'd about gotten sick of the bullshit, I decided to take the direct approach. "Mr. de Thierry," I said, " I understand that your Chateau Properties might be for sale, and if they are, I'm interested in buying them."
That got his attention. He stared at me for a long moment then asked "You got that kinda money?"
I nodded, holding his stare.
"I been thinkin around six, maybe seven hundred million," he said.
I couldn't help but laugh. "I didn't get into a position where I could ask by being stupid," I said. "Let's get realistic."
He laughed too, then said "Just testin' the water. You talking cash or a stock swap?"
"Cash," I said.
"You're talking my language, now," he said. "I've got some partners, but we are interested in unloading Chateau. You wanna make an offer?"
"Two hundred," I said, deciding to low-ball him. It was his turn to laugh.
Touche'," he said, and swiveled around to look out the window.
I waited.
When he turned back, he was serious. "How fast can you move on this?" he asked.
"As fast as you want," I answered.
"If I'm gonna do this, it's gotta be fast," he said. "Lemme talk to my partners, and we'll all meet next week. How about Monday night?"
"I'll be here," I said.
"I'll be in touch," he said as we shook hands again, and I gave him my card.
On the flight home, I thought about the aberration I'd just met.
This guy sounded more like a refugee from Brooklyn than the cultured confines of Paris, and looked more like a thug than the enormously successful businessman that he was. His business reputation was good, but he was also known for doing things in a rather unorthodox way. This would be interesting!
It was time to bring in the lawyers. It was just possible that he'd throw down a deal the next Monday night that we could live with, and I'd need to know how to proceed.
That night, when I told Eric about my encounter, he was all ears. The questions he asked were so damned perceptive that I felt like I should be taking notes.
When I told him that I was almost certain that Rene was gay, I laughingly suggested that Eric go with me to the meeting to distract him, but that that would be an unfair business practice.
"Why not," Eric shot back. "I'll even wear just speedos if it'll help."
"No need to go that far," I said, "but I would like you to go with me."
"You're getting to be a bad influence on me," he said. '"First you want me to go to New Jersey, and now you want me to go to Las Vegas. Oh yeah, by the way, I CAN go with you on Friday. It's all arranged."
"Want to spend the weekend in New York?" I asked.
"Only if we can be tourists," he said. "I've never been there."
It was decided, so we started making plans of what we wanted to see and do.
That night in bed, he hugged me and said "I never expected anything like this when I first got the hots for you."
"What did you expect?" I asked.
"I didn't really think about it," he said. "I guess I just hoped that maybe you'd care for me a little, and we could live happily ever after, but you've opened up a whole new world to me. Every day is more exciting than the last. I keep asking myself if it's all a dream."
"It's real," I assured him, "and I care for you more than just a little. In fact, if I haven't told you lately, I LOVE you a whole lot."
His comment got me thinking. Life had changed since I met him. Not only was I in love with and being loved by one of the sexiest men I'd ever seen, but everyday life had changed too. Things were happening. Was it because of Eric or coincidence? Who cares. I'm having the most exciting time in my life in every possible way.
The "team" was ecstatic and astonished at the results of my meeting with Rene. The ice had been broken, and there was a possibility of a deal unless Rene threw us a curve. Negotiations were open, and I sensed that Rene would either be entirely reasonable or just say no. We'd have a much better idea by the next Monday.
The team dispersed, leaving just Bill and I. "Eric gets the credit," he said.
"I know," I said. "If it all goes through, I fully intend to pay what we'd have paid the Bankers."
"You should," he said. "None of us would ever have to come up with the ideas that he has."
"He's going to New Jersey with me, too," I said, "and he's going to Vegas with me Monday night."
I explained that Eric didn't want to go to the meeting with the Miltons, but would be by my side with Rene and his partners. I told Bill about my feelings that Rene was gay and that Eric would be the distraction, which got us both laughing.
"You're a very lucky man," he said. "It's hard to find a partner who's such a sexy stud as Eric is, oh yeah, I notice those things now, and one who's as savvy as he is."
"I'm happier than I've ever been in my life," I answered.
"It shows," he said. "By the way, how's Annie taking all of this?"
"You're the only one who knows how much Eric's contributed," I said. "We don't see much of Annie. She's mentioned a new boyfriend, but she's never around. I'll have to have a good talk with her as soon as I can. Thanks for bringing it up."
"She's doing a wonderful job around here," he said. "I know you don't know how much she contributes, but she isn't too far from being able to fill my shoes."
I smiled at him. "That'll be a long way down the road," I said.
The headquarters office of Milton Manufacturing was attached to a factory that looked like it had been around since the Industrial Revolution, smokestacks and all. It was anything but ostentatious from the outside. Inside, it was old but well maintained. A receptionist took me directly to the office of Edward Milton, the oldest brother of the family. I introduced myself and met another brother, John.
The office literally reeked of old money, and breeding. The walls were paneled in carved oak and the furnishings would have made any antique dealer drool. It was a fitting backdrop for the brothers who were equally elegant and refined. There wasn't a computer to be seen.
After coffee and polite conversation, Edward asked "To what do we owe the honor of this visit, Mr. Rush?"
I'd been trying to think of a polite approach, but, not coming up with one, went the direct route. "We recently learned that there might be a possibility that you were considering retiring and selling Milton Manufacturing, and I wanted to let you know that I would be very interested should you ever decide to do so."
"We knew your father well," John said. "He was a fair competitor over the years, but our businesses grew in different directions."
"Should we ever decide to sell, it would be to someone like you, not one of those 'raiders' who would carve the company into unrecognizable pieces," Edward added. "Please be assured, Mr. Rush, that should we ever make that decision, you will be the first to know. Do you have sons, Mr. Rush?"
"No, daughters, Mr. Milton." I said. "My oldest is an executive at Metalco, working her way up the ladder."
"We have daughters too, but none have shown the slightest interest in the business," John said.
Rising from his chair, Edward said "We appreciate your direct approach, Mr. Rush, and you may hear from us one day."
The meeting was over. I thanked them for their time and left.
Eric was waiting in the car. "Talk about noncomittal!" I said as soon as I got in. "They were so goddam polite, but didn't say a thing."
"They can't all be as 'easy' as Rene," he answered.
I went on to tell Eric about the conversation, ending with "Eastern 'Old Money' is sure different."
"I like Western 'Old Money' the best," he said giving me a big kiss. Our driver, watching the rear-view mirror, almost hit a parked car.
We went into Manhattan and were deposited back at the Plaza, my favorite hotel in New York even if Donald Trump does own it. The limo was ours for the weekend, and after lunch, we took a tour. I was sufficiently familiar with the city be able to point out most of the landmarks and our driver filled in when I didn't know something. I guess he got over the shock of Eric's kiss because he was very friendly and helpful.
We had dinner at Windows on the World atop the World Trade Center. Touristy but spectacular, then had our driver drop us off in the Times Square area. It was bustling, as usual, and we were propositioned by men and women of every possible persuasion. At one of the sex shops, we loaded up on "toys" for gag gifts. Eric bought a collar and leash for Jason and Ron.
"I know you're disappointed about today," Eric said as we crawled into bed.
"Who knows?" I answered. "We may hear from them next week, or again, never. At least I let them know we're interested. If they ever do decide to sell, I think we'll have a good shot at it. We'll just have to wait and see what happens."
"In the meantime," he said, "I want to make mad passionate love to you." He proceeded to do just that, slowly, gently, methodically, bringing on such explosive climaxes that we had to take a shower to wash off the cum that seemed to be everywhere.
We had breakfast in our room, then did more sightseeing. Dinner at Sardi's with a few recognizable faces in attendence, then back to the hotel. I asked Eric to empty his pockets, and put on a warm jacket. I led him out of the hotel across to the Hansom Cabs for a ride through Central Park in the moonlight.
The old driver, after stashing his bottle, tucked an old rug around us, and off we went, clippity clop. The moon was almost full which made it even more romantic. I snuggled up to Eric, and my hand somehow found his crotch, and started stroking. "Just a sample," I told him.
The spell was broken when the horse started farting. Rather fragrantly, and all we could do was crack up laughing.
I puttered around the room while Eric undressed and got into bed. When I joined him, I positioned myself so he couldn't reach my dick, and started licking him. First his chest, then downward. When I got to his now hard dick, I licked all over it, and slipped my hand between his legs, fingering his pucker. I got the lube and prepared him thoroughly, gently sucking on his dick the whole time.
When I was fully inside him, I leaned forward, held his dick straight up and took it back into my mouth. I was pretty limber and his cock was long, so I was able to get about half of it into my mouth. "Oh my god," he moaned as I rocked in and out, up and down. In no time, I felt him tensing.
I stopped everything I was doing and just held still for a few seconds, then started moving again with real vigor. He flew over the precipice and shot jolt after jolt into my mouth. I sped up my thrusting and deposited a healthy load myself.
"That was fucking awesome!" he said while trying to catch his breath.
"A three-way with only two people," I told him.
Rene called Monday morning, offering to send a plane for us. We didn't need that, but I did accept his offer to pick us up at Jim's Air. He also wanted to know how many of us there would be, and was surprised when I told him only two.
Eric planned to go home after class, get dressed, then meet me at the office. I was reading when he walked in, smiling. There's only one way to describe him, FUCKING GORGEOUS! His suit 'fit', what more can I say. Not tight, but showed his awesome body off to perfection, and that smiling face, wow! I got up and gave him a kiss. "You look wonderful," I said, "Rene'll be drooling all night."
"That's the idea, isn't it?" he asked. "I'll distract him and you empty his pockets. We're a team."
That's one of Eric's great qualities. He knows he's goodlooking and the effect he has on others, but isn't the slightest conceited about it. No attitude, and usually, he is very modest about it.
"Let's go," I said, gathering up my papers into a briefcase.
On board, I handed Eric a sheaf of papers. "Here's a copy of what the attorneys prepared. It covers all the stuff we're supposed to negotiate. You wouldn't believe how hard I had to fight to get this cut down to readable size - originally, it was over a hundred pages!"
"They're overly protective," he said, "and, they bill by the hour!"
During takeoff, he scanned the five-page document. When the noise subsided, he commented "Looks pretty straightforward to me. Disclosure and verification. You said he's in a hurry. How fast do you think it can be accomplished?"
"60 days, no problem," I said. "30 if we have to."
"What's your top dollar?" he asked.
"Five hundred," I said, "anything less would be a steal."
"That's about what I figured," he said, then giggled. "I can't believe we're sitting here talking about a half billion dollars like it's no big deal. I feel like I'm in 'never-never land'! And with the debt you'll be assuming this whole thing adds up to over five BILLION. It's just not real!"
"It's real, all right," I said, "but what the hell, it's only mone
Eric unbuckled, came over and took me in his arms. "You scare me, sometimes," he said. "Life with you is a different world entirely, one I'm not always sure I'm ready for!"
After a kiss, I looked him straight in the eye. "You're the center of MY world," I told him.
Back in his seat, he asked "What's the plan of attack?"
"The price, first, then the details and conditions," I said. "I have a letter of intent with the price left blank, but all the oth stuff is outlined. We could actually wrap this up tonight!"
"What do you want me to do?" he asked.
"Just look pretty until the price is settled, then you can handle the detail stuff. OK?" I said.
"Then I'd better study," he said, and reread the lawyers' instructions.
As we came to a stop and the door was opened, a candy-apple red stretch Rolls pulled up. Why was I not surprised?
We were ushered into the back seat. The interior matched the paint job. Red velvet and everything metal was gold. It resembled a whorehouse on wheels. Eric looked around and giggled. Taste was not one of Rene's strong suits.
The mobile bordello whisked us to Rene's office. He was waiting for us, and his jaw actually dropped when he saw Eric. During introductions, I caught him checking Eric out from head to toe.
He led us into a conference room that was pretty subdued compared to his own office, but still rather garish. He was a little more formally dressed himself, in a suit, but one that was too tight and too shiny, but a definite improvement over his earlier getup. Eric took it all in, and winked at me.
Saying that his "Partners" would arrive shortly, he offered us drinks, which we declined, opting for sodas instead.
"You guys Mormons?" he asked.
"No, we just don't drink much," Eric said.
The "Partners" arrived, and after introductions and getting drinks for themselves, we settled around the conference table.
Rene was spokesman. "Dave, you like to get right to the point," he said. "So I'll throw out our best offer. Five hundred Million, 30 day close."
I didn't dare look at Eric. This was too good to be true. He was starting the bidding at a price we were willing to pay, so it could only go down from there. They must be really anxious to unload.
"67 properties?" I asked.
"Yeah, you've got the list," he said.
"Three hundred, 60 days," I said.
"Shit, man!" he said. "We're headed for four hundred, 45 days. Let's cut the crap and get there."
"Deal," I said. "400 Million, 45 day close, with the usual conditions."
He stood and extended his hand across the table. We shook, and he asked "Got a letter?"
"Right here," I said, pulling the letter of intent out of my pocket. I filled in the price on all copies and handed them out to everybody. They scanned them and pens started scribbling. I had already signed all copies.
"I like the way you do business, Dave, no bullshit," Rene said. "No bankers, no lawyers. We both saved a hunk of change!"
"Thanks to Eric, here," I said.
"More than just a pretty face!" he said, as if Eric weren't even there.
"A whole lot more," I assured him.
We rose from the table. The deal was done. In fifteen minutes I had spent almost a half billion dollars, and got a bargain to boot. It was a heady experience, and I was so happy that Eric had been there to share it with me, even though he hadn't said a word.
"Wanna use an office to alert your troops?" Rene asked. "Then, we're takin you out to dinner."
We accepted, and once behind a closed door, Eric grabbed me in a bearhug. "You were so fucking cool!" he said. "The minute he said 500, I knew you were going to get a steal. Congratulations!"
"You played a big part in this, too," I told him.
"I'm just so damned happy for you," he said.
"For us," I countered. "We're in this together."
"Forever!" he said emphatically. Knowing that he meant it made me feel lightheaded.
I called Bill on my cell phone.
"That was quick," he said, "Not bad news, I hope."
"We got it for four hundred," I told him. "Signed, sealed and delivered."
I could hear a whoop at the other end of the line. "Utterly unbelievable!" he said. "I'll let everybody know."
"We're going out to celebrate," I told him. "The work starts tomorrow. We have 45 days to close."
"You deserve it," he said, "and Eric deserves a lot of credit too. Congratulations to you both!"
"I know," I said, looking at Eric. "He'll get his, too!"
"What was that all about?" Eric asked when I had finished.
"The fee you're going to get for your great ideas," I told him.
"I don't want anything," he said.
"Not your choice, my man," I told him. "Your suggestions saved us a lot of money, and you sure as hell earned the fee that you're going to get. How does it feel to be a rich man?"
"I'm already rich, I've got you!" he said.
"Don't go mushy on me now," I said. "This is business."
Rene had already prepared a press release which Eric and I read and approved, then he, Eric and I piled into the godawful rolls, the others would follow. We went to a restaurant in Henderson. It didn't look like much, but Rene assured us that they had the best French food in Nevada.
He was right. He did all the ordering, and the food was fantastic. With the pressure off, conversation was a lot livelier.
On the trip home, we snuggled. "I still can't believe we pulled it off," he said. I was happy to hear him use the "we" word, finally, and promptly fell asleep. The pressure took its toll.
The morning paper had a front page article with the headline "Local Man buys $5 Billion Hotel Chain."
Eric read it and chuckled. "If only my teachers at school knew!"
To be continued.
