The Most Common Denominator Chapter 5
"Oh yes." Brad said. " I do want to fuck you. But because you are a virgin, you...uh...may not be...uh... quite ready for that tonight."
Lyle looked into Brad's eyes. "I think I am ready to try it. I trust you to take it easy and not to hurt me."
Brad returned the look. "No, you misunderstood what I was trying to tell you. I would absolutely be careful and gentle with you. What I meant was that you are probably not cleaned out. Not only could that be embarrassing for you, but it could also cause some problems like scratching you inside. If you have never done this before, then you probably have never had the need to clean out."
Lyle blushed and looked down at Brad's strong wet chest. "You're right," he agreed. "I never have. I am not even sure what I need or how to do that."
"I can give you something and tell you how to use it. I think for tonight, though, you've learned enough. You are a natural at it so far. And don't worry, I think you have a smokin' hot ass. We will definitely get around to getting you fucked. I promise." Brad reassured him.
Lyle seemed fine with that. They got out of the shower and dried off. One more embrace and they each went to their prospective beds. Brad was softly snoring almost immediately, but Lyle stayed awake for a long while, thinking about the evening and what they had done and shared. He gazed through the darkness, barely making out the sleeping form of his friend and roommate. He longed to steal over to the other bed and snuggle up close to the warm muscular athlete. He also knew that Brad was not offering him a relationship. They were friends and they had shared something new and exciting (at least for him). Lyle did not want to do anything to jeopardize that. He would just be willing to accept what Brad was willing to share with him and not complicate things by falling in love with him. He was content to have a close friend and mentor. There would be time for a lover whenever he was a little more experienced and his life was not so busy with school. This decision turned out to be a sound one for the two friends. Brad did, indeed, show Lyle the ins and outs of gay sex, though he himself remained bisexual. Brad had many girlfriends and one-night-stands, both male and female. On a few occasions, they even shared a male sexual partner in a three-way. Throughout college, and for many years afterward, they remained close friends, both in and out of bed. And now Lyle's best friend was getting married. As much as he kidded Brad about it, he was also concerned that the coming nuptials would mean the end of their physical friendship. Of course he would understand, but he would miss it. In many ways, the crush he felt for Brad in college had never really gone away.
"Well," said Brad, jolting Lyle back to their phone conversation. "I have always been open and honest with Carolyn about my bisexuality. She has known about you and some of the other guys I have sex with, and is pretty cool with it. Of course, she wants me to play safely. That only makes sense."
Lyle was surprised. "Does that mean I get to throw you an unforgettable bachelor party?"
"Hell yeah, man!" Brad laughed. "I am counting on it!"
"You got it!" Lyle answered. " I am bringing Lee with me, and if what you tell me about the wedding party is true, I should be able to throw you a REALLY fun party. I still have a lot of connections in Charleston."
"Hell, you have connections everywhere." Brad replied.
"Is there anything else I can do to help you out? Do I need to come in early or anything?" offered Lyle.
"I think Carolyn has it all worked out. And Charles is supposed to be some sort of whiz kid. I am leaving it all up to them. I would love it if you came down early and rescue me from all the madness. We will be taking some time off work and I have no plans before the wedding. We can just get out of the house, play tourist or whatever together." Suggested Brad.
"Sounds good, my friend. I am looking forward to it. I am sure there have been some changes around 'The Holy City" since I visited last time."
"There always are." agreed Brad. "Oh yeah, one more thing, and I really mean this. We are asking our friends and family to PLEASE not get us any gifts. We have been living together so long that we couldn't possibly need anything for the house. We both have more crap than we need."
"Okay," promised Lyle. "Nothing for the house, but how about something for the wedding night or the honeymoon? Maybe I should get you a bottle of Viagra or something?"
Brad laughed. "You of all people should know that won't be necessary. I can't wait to see you and prove it all over again."
"You're on!" teased Lyle. "Try not to let it all drive you too crazy. I gotta get Lee's ass off to work. See you soon!"
"Good-bye." Brad rang off.
