Alright. Onto chapter 9!
(P.S: There's gonna be a time jump in this one. It was Monday and now it's Friday).
It was Friday. I was awoken to Tristan rubbing my shoulder to wake me up.
"Hey Jacob. Your alarm has been ringing all day," Tristan said, trying to get me up.
I looked at him, "Fine."
I got up, sleepy. He was shirtless. Thank the lord that he wasn't naked.
"What time is it?"
"Almost time for you to go to school," Tristan said. I looked at the clock and it shocked me.
"Shit," I said, running to the bathroom. Tristan just laughed, watching me trip over myself just to get dressed.
When I got up the steps, I heard someone call out.
"Hey stranger!"
I turned around and smiled. It was Lucas.
"Hey... do I know you?" I asked, smirking.
"Uh I don't know. You look familiar though, like someone I know," Lucas said.
I smiled and stopped, "Oh really? Who do I look like?"
"My boyfriend. He's smart, cute, funny, perfect in every way." Lucas replied.
"Sounds like a great guy," I said.
"He is. He's the best," Lucas smiled.
Lucas and I stood there, trying not to laugh. We didn't last a couple seconds.
After we finished laughing, he looked at me. "You know, it kills me not to kiss you at school," Lucas said.
He touched me shoulder, making me jump a little.
"I know. I'm sorry. You know I love you," I said.
"I know. You're just a nice tease," Lucas said, "And I always look at your lips. It's just... wow."
I blushed, "Well... if you want, we could go someone really quick to make out."
"I'd like that," Lucas smiled.
We both walked off to go somewhere.
As we walked down the hallway, Juliana turned a corner behind us, seeing us from afar. She walked towards us.
We got to the bleachers. I smiled, looking around. "Is this fine? Best thing I could think of," I said.
"It's perfect."
Lucas grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in. Our bodies touched, sending an electric shock through our bodies.
I put my hands on his shoulders and we kissed, making out. I felt free. I felt like I had no restraints.
We started making out, kissing passionately. He ran his hands through my hair and I rubbed his back. Suddenly, we heard someone clear their throat.
I broke the kiss from Lucas. He looked down at me and then turned around. We saw Juliana.
"Sorry... I didn't mean to..." Juliana started.
"No it's okay," I said.
Lucas smiled, "I just needed to let out some feelings."
"I see. I'm gonna go get something from the vending machines. I'll see you guys later," Juliana said.
"Oh. We could go with you. Is that fine Lucas?" I asked. Lucas nodded.
"Really? Okay then," Juliana said.
Lucas kissed be on the cheek, making me blush.
Juliana smiled, "You too are perfect for each other."
I got a little red but I could tell that Lucas was smiling.
We walked off, back to the quad.
When we got to first period, we broke up in our groups. I went with Ethan, just for the heck of it. As we worked on a project, we talked, like the rest of the class.
"Hey so are we still on for the movies or are you busy?" Ethan asked.
I couldn't stop thinking about his kiss with Damian. I really wanted to ask him but I didn't want to.
"Yeah we're all good. 5:45 right?" I asked. Ethan nodded, "Do you need a ride?"
"Yeah. That'll be great," I said, "My parents will be working."
"Cool. So, how do you wanna do this project?" Ethan asked.
"Uh, let's look over the different ways we could do this," I said, looking at the paper in front of us. Ethan got next to me, looking over my shoulder.
I felt his presence. It was close but I didn't think much of it. My mind was wandering all over the place. I think he put his hand on my shoulder.
Ethan looked at me and smiled. I looked at him and smiled as well. We laughed and got back to work.
Lucas looked over at us, seeing Ethan, who was close to me. When I turned to him, he turned away.
At lunch, I got up from our table to use the bathroom. I decided to go to the far bathroom that no one went to. When I opened the door, I walked into a stall. I unzipped my pants until I heard the stall open. It was Lucas.
"Hey," I said, looking at him and then I pulled my underwear down to start peeing. He looked a little hurt.
"Is everything okay?" I asked. He stepped in the stall. I didn't realize that I stopped peeing.
"What's with Ethan?" Lucas asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked back.
"He... in first period... got close to you. He put his hand on your shoulder. Is there something going on?" Lucas said.
I zipped up my pants and walked towards him but he backed up. I stood there, a little shocked.
"Lucas. Nothing is going on. He just did that probably because he's my friend. Remember?" I said.
Lucas looked at me, "I just feel like he... likes you or something. First he shares a kiss with Damian and then he wand you are hanging out tonight at the movies... I... I just don't know what to think. Do you like him."
Lucas had tears in his eyes but I could see a little anger.
"Lucas... you're scaring me," I said, stepping back. He started to get tears down his eyes. I walked towards him, hugging him as he cried on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry," Lucas said, "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm just trying to protect you."
"I know. Thank you but I'll be fine. We're just friends."
I don't know why but hugging Lucas as he cried made me feel like strong. He made me feel strong.
"Let's go back to lunch, ok?" I said. Lucas nodded, hugging me tighter.
"Ok," Lucas said.
"I will never hurt you. Never," I said, pulling back from Lucas, which was a little tough because he was hugging me tight.
"I love you," I said, "You are my world."
"You're my universe," Lucas said and after that, he kissed me.
We both got up and walked off.
As we walked down the hall, I looked at him.
"I don't have to go with Ethan to the movies if you don't want me to," I said.
Lucas looked down at me. I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry for thinking that you would cheat on me. I... I want you to go. Have fun with your friend. I know you won't do anything stupid," Lucas said. I nodded, "Thanks."
We walked back to your table to eat our lunch.
After the day finished, I walked back home, like usual. As I walked, I got a text. It was from Ethan.
Ethan: Hey, I just wanted to say that I'll pick you up at 5.
Jacob: Alright thanks. I'll be ready. Should I sneak in candy?
Ethan: Lol, that's what I'm doing.
Jacob: Cool. I will too. See you then :)
I put away my phone and walked off to my house.
After an hour after school, both my brothers were home. Tristan ate a sandwich while Ben went to playing video games.
I sat down next to Tristan, eating a salad. Tristan looked at Ben in the other room and then he looked at me.
"So, when are you going to tell mom and dad?" Tristan asked. I looked at him, a little confused at the moment.
"About you and Lucas," Tristan said. I shrugged. "I don't know. We're not... I'm not ready," I said.
"So, are you guys sick of each other yet?" Tristan smiled.
"Oh ha ha. Of course I'm not," I said.
"He has a big ass cock," Tristan said. I just smiled.
"Like damn. Horses are probably jealous," Tristan replied.
"That's gross Tristan," I said, "And weird."
"Hey, his big dick was all wet with cum when we saw him and you in the pool. Then you both shot your loads on us," Tristan said, "So remind me who the weird one is."
I laughed, "Fair point."
"Well you got lucky with him. He has all the best qualities, both physically and emotionally," Tristan said, "Do you fit that thing in your mouth and ass?"
"Why are you so obsessed with his dick?" I asked, "Are you gay?"
"No. I'm just curious. It's interesting," Tristan said.
"This is awkward. Me talking to you about my boyfriend and his junk," I said.
"His big ass junk," Tristan laughed. I lightly punched him.
"So when he jacks off and cums, it's, a big deal but when you and Ben jack off every day basically, no one bats an eye," I said. Tristan shrugs.
"I guess it's because we're not hiding a log in our pants and we don't shoot waterfalls," Tristan laughed, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom."
Tristan walks off to the bathroom. "Waterfalls. Huh," I said to myself, giggling a little.
As it got close to 5, I got ready. When I made my hair, wavy and a little messy, I saw Ben.
"You're leaving us again?" Ben asked.
"You make it sound like I won't be back. I'm seeing a movie with..."
"Lucas?" Ben asked.
"Ethan. I'm seeing a movie with Ethan," I said.
"Oh okay," Ben said, looking down at the floor.
I bent down to my knees, getting close to his level. "It's gonna be okay. We can hang out as well sometimes. Whenever you think of something, just tell me," I said.
"Ok. I just never get to spend time with you because you're always hanging out with your friends. Mom and dad always get home too late so they go to bed and Tristan doesn't want to play all the time," Ben said.
I hugged Ben. He was cute and innocent. I felt bad. "I'll arrange something for us to do. Promise," I said. Ben smiled.
"Okay. Thank you," Ben said, hugging me again. He didn't want to let go. He was nice and welcoming. I didn't spend a lot of time with my brothers. I probably should.
"I love you Jacob," Ben said, showing me brotherly love as he hugged me. I hugged him back. My innocent little brother.
Who knew he cared so much about us hanging out together.
I got up and walked out the door, saying bye to Ben.
After I walked outside, I saw Ethan's mom's car. I walked up to it and got in.
As we drove, Ethan looked at me, "Thanks for hanging out with me. I really appreciate it."
Ethan smiled, making me smile.
"So, what are you two going to do after going to the movies?" Ethan's mom asked. I looked at Ethan. He looked at me then at his mom.
"We'll think of something," Ethan replied. I nodded.
As we got to the movies, Ethan and I walked in. We bought our tickets and got our food. As I put butter on our popcorn, I turned around to see where Ethan went. He was getting our drinks.
I really wanted to ask him about Damian. I'll save it for later but I felt that it needed to happen tonight.
I walked to him, with our popcorn. He turned to me, "Thanks. Do you wanna save our seats? I'm a little full at the moment."
"Yeah. Don't stress yourself out. Okay?" I said, smiling and patting his shoulder. I walked off to our theater, entering.
When I got in, I looked around. It was fairly empty. We could pick where ever we wanted. I walked off to go to the middle area. Right in front of the screen. As I sat down, I looked around to see some people filling inside. I looked at the the screen, watching the trailers.
Before I knew it, Ethan entered the theater. He placed down our drinks and handed me candy.
"Just a little something something," Ethan said, sitting down. I took it and smiled. "Thank you," I said, "I love candy!"
Ethan laughed, "I know. That's why I got it."
"You're a good friend," I said.
Ethan smiled and nodded, "Thank you. You are too."
We settled in, watching the screen.
As the movie went on, we enjoyed ourselves. It was a good night. Just hanging out with my best friend. Not worrying about anything or being dramatic. Just having fun.
One moment, Ethan and I accidentally touched hands while reaching for popcorn, making it a little awkward but funny.
After the movie, we walked out of the theater, talking about it.
"That was pretty good if you'd ask me," Ethan said.
"Yeah. It was pretty good. I think that's one to remember," I said, drinking some of my soda.
"So what do you want to do now? We don't have to go home right away if you don't want to," Ethan said.
"Yeah I know. Uh... wanna go to the park? Just to walk around?" I asked. Ethan nodded, "Sure."
We walked to the nearby park, walking down the sidewalks, enjoying nature and feeling the breeze. It was kinda cold but I didn't mind. The lights were dimmed, making it seem almost dreamlike.
"So, how's it going with you and Lucas? You guys have been hanging out a lot," Ethan said.
"Pretty good. I'm just branching out. It's good for me," I said.
"Oh. Same," Ethan replied.
"Yeah. You seemed to be having a lot of fun with Damian," I said, "You know... at the party."
Ethan nodded. He was blushing a little. "Yeah. He's great."
We were silent. I don't know why but it was a little awkward. I had to break the ice.
"I'm sorry we don't get to talk like this. It must be really awkward," I said. Ethan looked at me and shook his head, cracking a little smile.
"No no it's fine. I love this. I'm just happy to be here with you. You know... hanging out," Ethan explained.
"Thanks. I miss this," I said.
"I do too," Ethan replied.
We walked a little more. I looked at the ponds. They were really nice. The light from the sky reflected off of them, making it light up.
"I was thinking about joining a sport," Ethan said. I looked at him, "Really? What sport?"
"Soccer. I think I'll be good at it. I used to play," Ethan said, reminding me of his past.
"Oh that's right. I wasn't very good," I said.
"No you were fine. I just happened to be... a little better," Ethan laughed.
I laughed with him, "There's truth in that."
He laughed as well, "I think you were fine."
"Thanks. You flatter me," I smiled, "But I think you'd be great for it. You're built like a soccer player and you have the skills. You should try out," I said.
"Thanks. I hope I make the team. I just wanted to get back into sports. I like academics but athletics are pretty cool too. Why not give them a try?" Ethan explained.
"True," I said.
"You should try out for a sport," Ethan said, nudging me.
"Me? No... I wouldn't dare. What would I even do?" I asked.
"I don't know but there's probably something that you'd be good in," Ethan said.
"I'll probably do track this year," I said, "That was pretty fun."
"Cool. I'll be there to support you," Ethan smiled.
"As will I," I replied.
As we walked, I remembered to ask something. "Oh I meant to ask... who are you going to take to homecoming? It's in a couple weeks I think. Isn't it after Thanksgiving break?"
"Uh I don't know. There's not a lot of choices for someone like me," Ethan said.
"I wouldn't say that. There's a person for everyone," I replied, "Maybe Juliana?"
"I think her and Anthony are dating," Ethan said, "I haven't heard her tell me but I'm pretty sure they are."
"Well I hope you find the right person," I said.
"What about you? Have you thought about your date?" Ethan asked.
I thought about Lucas. I didn't know what to say. I had to lie.
"Uh... I don't know yet. I don't even know if I'm going," I said.
"You should go. It'll probably be fun. That's what Damian says anyways," Ethan replied, "You'll regret it if you don't."
"I'll try," I smiled.
We walked a little bit. Damian and Ethan kept circling my mind. I had to ask. I had to know.
"So, how's Damian? I think you too had a lot of fun at the party. At least, that's what it looked like," I said.
Ethan smiled, "Yeah. I guess so. He's pretty cool."
"Did you guys do anything?" I asked.
"We just partied. It wasn't much," Ethan said.
"Well... I remember you telling me about that spin the bottle game. How was that?" I asked.
"Pretty good. Why?" Ethan asked.
"Well... I was just wondering if you kissed anyone unexpected," I said.
Ethan got red. I could see it, even though it was kinda dark.
"What does that mean?" Ethan asked.
"Just... okay... how do I say this... I... I saw you and Damian kiss," I said.
Ethan stopped dead in his tracks. I looked at him. He was stunned.
"Uh... I just... I just wanted to say that I... um... I don't want it to feel awkward or anything. Also... I don't want you to hate me. And I..." I said until I saw him tearing up. I felt sad.
"Oh... I'm so sorry Ethan. I didn't know this was a touchy subject," I said, hugging him. He cried in my shoulder, just like Lucas.
"I... I didn't t-think anyone knew. I th-thought it was just between the group of people," Ethan said, crying.
"Ethan, listen to me... I am here for you. Always. I will never leave your side and I will always support you with whatever you need. Can we just talk?" I asked.
Ethan nodded. I guess he didn't really want to talk.
"Do you like him?" I asked.
Ethan shrugged, wiping away his tears, "He's just really nice and funny and it just felt good to kiss him but it also felt good to kiss the girls. I'm scared Jacob. I... I don't know if I'm bi. What would my parents think?"
"I think they will love you for who you are and be proud that you have recognized your true feelings," I said, smiling, "I'm here for you."
Ethan smiled, "Thanks."
"So, what does he think?"
"I... I don't know. He might not even have thought anything of it," Ethan said, "Which makes me a little sad."
"I think you should go up to him and ask him about your relationship. Communicate," I replied.
He nodded.
"I'm sorry if you didn't want me to know. I just... I just wanted to ask."
"No. It's okay. It's fine," Ethan said, "Plus, I think he makes it a little obvious. He always slaps my butt and always wants to hang around me. I kinda like it though."
I laughed, "See. He's catching on."
"I just can't believe I like boys. I didn't think I'd ever like boys. Just girls," Ethan replied.
I nodded, "Well things happen for a reason. Have you guys done anything after that?"
"Not yet. Just that one kiss," Ethan said.
"Well tell me how it goes. I'll be here with you," I said.
Ethan smiled, "Thank you Jacob."
I smiled, "No problem."
As we walked, he looked at me. "You know... you're pretty cute. Why don't you have someone?"
I blushed and smiled, "Uh... I don't know. You think I'm cute?"
"Why not? You're like the perfect friend," Ethan said, "I think anyone would be happy to have you."
I smiled, "Thanks. I certainly hope so."
"Do you like anyone?" Ethan asked.
I thought about Lucas. When should I tell him? Maybe later.
"No not really. Just focusing on myself right now," I said, lying to him. He nodded, "Cool."
We walked to the point where we met the street. I looked at him.
"Can I spend the night?" I asked.
He nodded, "Sure. I'll have to ask my mom."
"Okay. I'll ask my parents as well," I replied
We got a hold of our parents and they both said yes. After that, Ethan's mom arrived to pick us up.
"Did you two have fun?" Ethan's mom asked.
"Yup. The movie was great. Thank you for letting me spend the night," I said.
"No problem. You are always welcome Jacob," Ethan's mom said.
When we got to the house, Ethan and I headed to his room. We watched tv and played video games for the rest of the night. It was nice.
"Should I ask him out?" Ethan asked, "I don't know if he'll say yes."
"I'd be careful. Make sure you two are on the same page. Then maybe try something," I said. He smiled.
"I don't see how you could be single and know all this," Ethan said. I giggled, "Call me the Love Doctor."
We both laughed. After playing a couple rounds, we decided to get ready for bed.
"I'm sorry. I bet you don't want me talking about a boy like that. You're straight so you'd rather be talking about boobs or something," Ethan said, "I mean... I would to."
I laughed, "No it's fine. I understand. I'm just happy for you."
"When should I tell my parents? You know... about being bi?"
"Whenever you're ready. I'd do it if he says yes."
Ethan agreed with me.
As I got in bed, he got next to me. We laid in bed together, close. He looked at me while I was only phone.
Suddenly, I saw Ethan rolling over towards me. He grabbed my chin and turned my head. I saw that he was coming in for a kiss. I moved out of the way and he stopped, getting out of bed and standing there. I looked at him.
"I'm sorry. I... I didn't mean to do that. I'm just a little confused and I thought I could repay you for your kindness or something like that. I don't know what to think or do. I'm sorry Jacob. I just used to think you're cute and..." Ethan said before I put my finger on his lips, shushing him.
"Ethan listen. I can't keep this a secret anymore. I've tried but... I'm seeing someone," I said.
He looked at me, confused. "But you said..."
"I know. I lied. I wasn't really ready to tell people but it just had to come out. I..." I tried to say it, crying a little. He looked at me, confused but sad.
"What?" Ethan asked.
"I'm... I like... I'm.... I'm gay," I finally said, laying on the bed. That must have been the hardest thing for me to do. I finally said it. I couldn't keep it in any longer. It was my time.
"You're what?" Ethan asked.
"Gay."
"How? Wh-when did this happen?" Ethan asked, "Who's your... boyfriend?"
I looked at him. My face was red with tears rolling down my eyes. He pieced the rest together.
"Lucas."
I nodded, slightly.
Ethan took out a deep breath. "Is that why you both have been hanging out so much? You're boyfriends?"
"Please don't get mad at Lucas," I said, "It's my fault. I led him to me."
"I don't understand. It's just confusing," Ethan replied.
"I didn't want to tell you yet but it's been too long," I said.
"When did you both become boyfriends?" Ethan asked.
"When I first started tutoring him," I replied.
"That long ago?!" Ethan said, stunned, "You've been spending more time with him because you love him."
"I'm sorry," I said, "That's why I didn't want to kiss you."
"Who else knows?" Ethan said, sounding a little angry. I must have mumbled because he stepped closer, trying to hear me.
"Tristan... Juliana... and Anthony," I said. Ethan took out a deep breath, irritated.
"You didn't tell me! I'm your best friend! How do they know?" Ethan asked.
"Tristan saw a hickey on my neck," I said, making Ethan put his face in his hands.
"And Juliana and Anthony walked in on us kissing. I didn't tell them. They found out," I replied.
"Were you guys doing it or something?" Ethan asked.
I looked down at him, "We love each other."
"Well... I love you."
I looked up at him, shocked. I sniffed in because of my runny nose and continued to talk.
"What?"
"I love you. I've always loved you," Ethan said.
I shook my head, "No... Ethan please. Let me explain. I know I haven't spent a lot of time with you and I'm sorry for leaving you for Lucas and not hanging out with you but I want to make it up. Please. I'm trying here. I really am,"
"I... I just... I need time to think," Ethan said.
I got up, wiping my eyes.
"Just... go," Ethan finally said.
I grabbed my stuff and left his room, leaving him to stare at a wall.
As I left his house, I ran. I ran to the best house I could think of. Lucas' house.
I knocked on the door. It was late. I didn't expect anyone to answer but someone did. Lucas did.
"Jacob? What are you doing here?" Lucas asked before I hugged him. He hugged me back.
"C-Can... I... um... stay here?" I managed to say.
Lucas nodded and let me in. We walked through his living room, getting to the stairs.
"My parents are asleep. We have to be quiet," Lucas replied.
As we got to his room, I laid on his bed.
"What happened? Why are you crying? Did someone hurt you because you know I don't like that. I'll hurt them back," Lucas said, looking at me. I shook my head, "Please don't. You'll make things worse."
"Did Ethan do this?" Lucas asked, "It had to be him. You guys were hanging out right?"
"I... I told him about us," I replied, hugging him and crying. He stroked my head, calming me down.
"And... he got mad and I don't even know if he'll like me anymore," I said, crying.
"Shh it's gonna be okay. He'll come to his senses and except you," Lucas said, "Is he homophobic or something because he did kiss Damian."
"No it's not that. He's mad because I've been spending more time with you and ditching him. Also... he loves me," I said, "And I think he feels like I cheated on him."
"Loves you?" Lucas got a little angry but he calmed down when I looked at him.
"He used to love me and he tried to kiss me," I replied.
Lucas took a deep breath in.
"Please. Don't get mad. I don't love him like that," I replied, "I love you. Just... please don't make more worse than it already is. I think he's confused. I'll let him settle down."
Lucas obeyed, "Okay. I'll do anything for you Jacob. You know that. I'll let this settle down, for you."
I smiled a little, "Thank you."
He bent down and kissed me. I laid in his lap as he rubbed my back. I soon fell asleep in his muscular arms.
What a day.
