I'm not going to post the normal disclaimer of please leave if you're not 18 because I'd be stupid to think underage teens didn't access this material. I only just turned 18 two months ago, lol. I just ask you respect my writings and don't use them or copy them for any use without my permission.
It all started about two weeks ago, when I started my junior year. It feels so great to be able to say that I have only one year left after this! Although, all the teachers seem harder this year, but I guess that's expected since we'll all probably slack off next year. Oh, how rude of me; I didn't introduce myself.
My names Matt and I'm a student at Centerville High school. It's your typical suburban town; complete with the cliques. I guess you could say I fall in everywhere. I'm known around the school as the gay kid basically, but I really don't mind. It's actually kind of cool; since I don't get messed with or anything.
I'm about 5'8" and like 140lbs. I've got brown hair but its really golden on top, so it gets mistaken for blonde a lot and I've got green eyes. I think they're the best feature I have. They get me attention everywhere, people always comment me on them asking me if I wear eyeliner or mascara to brighten them; and the answers always "no". I'm not your typical gay kid, I don't wear amazingly tight jeans or make up or walked around screaming "OMG!" everywhere. I'm just a normal high school teen who happens to be gay. But enough about me, lets continue.
Two weeks ago I thought I had my junior year planned out, a little slacking here and there but a pretty scheduled year with a lot of fun. But that all changed when I walked into my last period of the day. We'd been sitting around for about twenty minutes when a boy walked in with a late pass.
"sorry, the principal wanted to talk to me, I'm new here my names Trystan." now let me explain this boys looks to you. He's about 5'11" and looks to be like 160lbs; definitely had a good body, but he wasn`t overly muscular; just cute. I couldn't really get a good look at his eyes because I was in the back of the room but he had brown hair.
"it's alright we were just beginning to go over chapter one." so my, I guess our teacher, Ms. Mason told him to go find a seat and she'd get him a book later. Well the only seat left in the entire class was next to me.
"is it alright if I share a book with you, I don't have one yet and I need to read the chapter still." he asked with a small smile.
"sure its no problem, I've already read it over anyhow." his eyes were gorgeous! They were a mix of this really pretty orange like color and green. It gave them a coppery tone. They were so gorgeous.
"thanks. I really appreciate it. My names Trystan, what's yours?" he asked so politely I had to wonder where he was from.
"my..my names matt; but all my friends call me Matty." I couldn't believe how amazing this was! He was actually trying to talk to me, not just borrow my book.
"Matty, eh? I like it, you look like a Matty." with that he turned around and started reading the chapter. I couldn't stop looking for like two minutes. He looked up once and smiled and went back to reading. After that I just laid my head down, I felt so giddy inside I couldn't hide my smile. Class dragged on for the rest of the time and it was the most agonizing class period ever. I wanted to get to know this boy; I wanted to learn everything about him. Not just his body, but his history. It was weird, I'd never felt this way before. Once class was over, Trystan gave me my book back and started to leave. I ran out the door to try and catch him but I couldn't find him anywhere. I must've looked like a lost puppy or something.
"did you loose something?" I knew that voice, I turned around and there he was smiling. He was so cute when he smiled, the color of his eyes took on more of the copper color.
"yah, actually I did." I couldn't believe I'd just said that to a boy I didn't know. To a boy I didn't even know was actually gay or not.
"oh really, and what did you loose? It can't be your book, I gave that back already." he said smiling, he already knew what I'd been looking for.
"well, actually I was looking for you." I said while blushing. I couldn't believe I was being this blunt with a person. I usually just put my headphones in after school and started walking home. That's all I ever do, is walk everywhere. It's just relaxing to walk around with "Nevertheless" blasting in my ears.
"oh, but you can't loose me. Once you get to know me, you're stuck with me." he said while smiling again; was he flirting with me? No, he couldn't be.
"Is that right? Well than I'm not sure I want to get to know you after all." I said deciding to play the flirty card and see where it got me.
"well, in that case. When you decide you'd like to get to know me, I live at 655 Everton Square." he said while turning away from me. I couldn't believe it, he was leaving me.
"wait! that's just a block away from my house. Why don't we just walk home together; I could use the company?" I said hoping I'd have some time to get to know him.
"no, that's okay. I drove to school today. Besides, you said you didn't want to get to know me." with that he turned around and left. I couldn't believe it; he'd just walked away. I felt like shit, I thought he would've gotten my joke. I figured he'd realize I was flirting back. Maybe he hadn't been flirting after all; maybe he'd just been playing around and trying to make friends. I couldn't believe how bad I'd felt. What if he didn't want to talk to me now? I know what I'll do! I'll just walk over to his house after mom gets home and I take care of the animals. I'll explain everything to him, let him decide if he wants to get to know the school queer. He'll find out soon enough....
