Introduction: So this is my first shot at writing fiction. I have been reading the stories on Nifty for quite a while and decided that I would finally try to do one myself. I know I know I am definitely an idealist when it comes to some of the details of this story, but I hope you enjoy this!

I will also warn you that this story will develop kinda slowly, as I hate stories that are so predictable. I will try not to give away the whole plot in the earlier chapters.

If you are looking for a quick jerk off, this is not the story for you. Sorry, I know the feeling searching for them ;). Please feel free to send me an email and let me know what you think of the story. As usual, if you are under the legal age to read this sort of material or it is illegal to do so in the region you live in, please hit the red ?x? in the top right corner of your screen now. I retain all creative rights to this story. Any reference to people of the same name is purely coincidental.

This is all fiction, minus the cities and the celebrities.

Special thanks to my best friend Kai for reading each chapter over and making sure it doesn't suck too badly. Love you!

I just want to apologize for the extensive delay in getting this chapter out. Organic chemistry kicked my ass in spring. As soon as that was done, I had to help move since my family is building a new house. I spent the next few weeks working and helping design the house. Then my summer organic chemistry course began. Now I am home from vacation, have two weeks with nothing to do, and plan on getting another chapter or two done before school starts again!

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to continue writing. Thanks for all of the opinions and suggestions.

Opinions are welcome- rylanhanley@gmail.com

The Wrong Twin- Chapter Five: The Life-Changing Moment

Written from Isaac's perspective

Wow I cannot believe how time flies! I mean homecoming is right around the corner! This is ridiculous! October already! The best part about it being October is the fact that hockey season is right around the corner. We have already begun the preliminary practices after tryouts. Naturally, all my friends and I made the team. The best part is, Kayden and I are absolutely gelling on the first line. If you would have told me that our chemistry would have been this astounding, I would have got my ass on a plane and gone to Charlotte to bring him to Anaheim. The flow is simply impeccable.

I can remember the first time we were together on the ice! I decided to be a good friend to Kayden and volunteer to be on a line with him. Little did I know, this would be one of the greatest decisions I have ever made at the rink. I was extremely nervous as I usually had Pat and Alex on the line with me. Now I was paired with Kayden and another kid, Vince Molke, who was the normal second line winger. This was an inter-squad scrimmage during the tryouts, so the three of us were faced with going up against Pat and Alex along with the team's second line center from last year, Jason Silverstrom and Kyler, the starting net-minder. Luckily, we had both Dylan and Steven on defense so we may have a shot. Have I mentioned how much I hate losing? Well, even if I have, I HATE LOSING!!!! So anyways back to the scrimmage. I won the faceoff back to Dylan who moved the puck to Vince. Vince dumped the puck in where Kayde recovered it and fired a perfect, no-look back hand pass right between Jason's legs, directly to my stick.

Somehow, I happened to predict where Kayden was gonna pass it to and I ripped the puck five- hole on Kyler just 20 seconds into the scrimmage. Kayden and I just sorta stared at each other like, "How on earth did we just do that?" We ended up connecting three more times during the game for goals, two by Kayden and one by me. Coach was so blown away, he decided to keep Kayden, Vince, and I on a line. To think, I was worried Kayden would fit on the team.

Now, almost two weeks removed from the first scrimmage, Kayden and I have been tearing the team apart, in a good way of course! But even off the ice, we have been really developing a great friendship. Our style of music is the same, our taste in movies are the same, heck even our style in clothing is the same. The only thing I can't say is whether or not we have the same taste in women! Speaking of that, I need to get around to asking his sister to homecoming! I am getting so frustrated with her! She won't take any of the bait I am throwing out to see if she is interested.

However, I refuse to give up hope. Time to get myself in position to do so!

"Hey guys do you guys wanna have a movie night tonight? The 'rents are outta town and we can order some pizza and not have to worry about waking everyone up," I ask Kyler, Dylan, Steven, Kayden, Pat, and Alex as we are leaving the locker room after another hockey practice after school. "It's a Friday night and the guys can just spend the night. We will invite the girls but they will obviously have to leave. I don't really care to fuck up the fact that I can stay at home alone when Mom and Dad have business meetings in Palo Alto."

"Yeah dude that would be cool! I think Nick, Alyssa, Maria, Annie, and Casey would all come!

Let me shoot em a text real quick," Dylan says as he whips out his iPhone and sends them a message. "Let me just go home and get my stuff and I'll come over for the night."

The rest of the guys murmur with agreement while Dylan informs me that the girls will all be coming, but Nick has family in from Seattle so he can't get away. After calling my mom to inform her of my plans, I decided to head on over to the supermarket to pick up a few cases of soda, some java monsters to keep us up all night, popcorn kernels for the machine we have, and of course, chips and candy! The theater room we have contains a kickass popcorn maker and a mini-fridge behind the bar. It even has a system with thousands of movies in it, so we will have quite a selection to choose from tonight. Plus, AJ is spending the night at Zach's house, since the two of them are going surfing in the morning.

However, the real purpose of me having everyone over is to somehow get Annie alone so I can ask her to go to the homecoming dance with me! If I can pull this off, I may just get my chance to be able to date this beautiful girl! Anyways, of course, I run home to prepare myself for this night. After a nice, hot shower and shave, I decided to wear my favorite Abercrombie blue and green V-neck shirt and a nice pair of Buckle jeans. I was just finishing applying my irresistible Abercrombie Fierce cologne (I swear they just walk into a room that two extremely hot people just had sex in and bottled up the smell) when the doorbell rang.

"Isaac! Its Dyl and Maria, we are coming upstairs! I hope you're not beating your meat in the theater watching porn!" Dylan yelled after walking in the door. I really don't understand why he bothers ringing the doorbell, he usually just fucking walks right in anyways. "Damn, what the hell are you all dressed up for?" He asks after finding me setting up snacks behind the bar.

"Nothing dude, it just caught my eye in my closet," I replied, which was a total lie.

"Well I think you look great Isaac!" Maria said.

"Maria, in case you forgot, I am your boyfriend, and I am sitting right fucking here!" Dylan exclaimed with a sarcastic tone of jealousy. He knows that I would never go after his girlfriend.

"Yeah I know hun. I'm not blind," Maria responded. I couldn't help but laughing.

Finally, at around 7:00, everyone had arrived, and I took all of the pizza orders. We settled on five larges: two with pepperoni, two with sausage, mushroom, and onion, and one plain. All throughout the night, I searched for opportunities to get Annie on her own. I thought I had her when I asked her if she could help me with the pizzas, but Kayden overheard my request and quickly substituted himself for the task. I tried not to show my disappointment as we walked down the front spiral staircase towards the front door.

We settled on watching one of my all-time favorite movies: Taken. Damn does Liam Neeson kick some serious ass in that movie! I wish I was capable of doing those kinda things! While I usually get pissed off when I have to do something while watching a movie, I finally caught the break I was looking for. During the movie, Annie asked for a glass of water. All of the glasses we store in the bar were used by everyone else for soda, so I was required to go downstairs to get it for her. She decided to come with me and I knew this was my golden opportunity to ask her to homecoming.

"So Annie, how do you like Anaheim so far?" I ask as I search for a glass that isn't too fancy for her to take upstairs, finally settling on my favorite Pittsburgh Penguins tumbler glass for her.

"A lot more than I expected to! I mean the people are nice and all. It's not what I am used to, though. No one here really puts up with shit. You just kinda do your own thing and everyone ignores you if they don't like you. I don't know, I guess it's not a bad thing. I kinda miss the small-town feel of my old neighborhood," she replies.

"Well it seems like you are adjusting pretty quickly! We like to move at a pretty fast pace here.

Nobody really has the time to mess around. On a separate note, are you looking forward to the homecoming dance next week?" I inquire.

"Yeah absolutely! I think Maria, Casey, Lys, and I are going to head up to Rodeo Drive to pick out our dresses tomorrow!" She exclaims.

"Well I was just wondering, would you maybe like to go to homecoming with me?"

"Oh, umm, well I'm honored Isaac that you would ask me and all, but Kyler already asked and I kinda said yes. I'm sorry," she responds.

"Ohhh, well umm, yeah that's cool. Kyler is a cool dude. Well how about you go ahead up. I am gonna check the pantry to see if I can find some more Doritos. Alex will start bitching if I don't have some."

"Ok, thanks for the water Isaac. And I really am sorry," Annie says as she takes her glass and heads back up to the theater.

Ok wow, I didn't see that coming. I guess maybe she has had a crush on Kyler since that first day at lunch and that's why she isn't reacting to any of my flirting? That would make sense I guess. I cannot take this out on Kyler, it definitely isn't his fault. But FUCKKKKKK!!!! This sucks! I can't go up there and face them yet. I need to recover from this. I'll just sit here in the kitchen for a few minutes. Annie will hopefully cover for me. I cannot believe that this happened. I was completely counting on this. Now what will I do for a date? Talk about getting hit with a nuclear bomb! I mean I shouldn't have too much problem finding another date, probably with a girl from another school, but I don't want anyone else!

Hell, I don't think I have ever been shut down by a girl before. I mean, he did ask her before me.

But she HAD to know I was interested. I made it completely obvious. She is my dream girl! She is pretty smart, absolutely gorgeous, caring, kind, sweet, and perfect! Ugh why didn't I just grow a pair and ask her earlier?!?! This was probably one of the stupidest things I have ever done. I usually calculate all of my moves pretty perfectly. I am gonna have to rethink my strategies when flirting! But fuck is this a hard one to swallow.

"Hey Isaac is everything ok?" I hear Kayden ask as he enters the kitchen to see me sitting with my head slumped in my hands.

"What? Oh hey Kayde. Yeah everything is ok. I just don't take rejection very well, haha," I explain.

"Rejection? What are you talking about?"

"Well I just asked Annie to go to homecoming with me, but she said that she is already going with Kyler. Why didn't I know that? Why didn't I have the balls to ask her earlier?"

"Dude Kyler asked like a week ago. They have been kinda hanging out for the past two weeks. I know she was chillin over at Starbucks studying with him about every other night."

"Oh wow so they are pretty much a couple already. Well I guess so much for that!"

"Hey, don't worry Isaac," Kayden says as he wraps his arm around my shoulders, "you are an awesome dude. I am sure someone will come along shortly and snatch you up!"

"Thanks Kayde, I hope you're right! I just thought she was perfect for me. I guess God has other plans for my life"

"Yeah, I think He does. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."

"Amen to that bro! Alright Kayden lets go back and watch the rest of the movie!"

The rest of the night went pretty normally. The girls all had to be home by 11, so the boys and I had the rest of the night to ourselves after the movie. We finished up any leftover pizza, drank almost two dozen Monsters between the 7 of us, and begun a Call of Duty marathon with two separate Xbox 360's. I think it was about 4:00 A.M. when everyone but Kayden and I were asleep. The other nice part about the theater is the reclining leather chairs. They make great beds for sleepovers.

"So Kayden, did you have a girlfriend back in North Carolina?" I ask.

"Let's just say that's a subject I really don't wanna discuss at the moment."

"Alright, fair enough! Well I hope to hear about it soon once you are over her! She must have been a doozy!"

"Yeah, it's definitely a story. Well Isaac I think the Monster is finally wearing off so I am going to go to bed. I'll just crash here on the floor to give you your space on the recliner."

"Nonsense Kayde! There is plenty of room here between chairs! The armrests are massive!"

"Hahaha ok good!" Kayden replied as he crawled up from the floor and onto the adjoining recliner. " I just didn't want to intrude. Good Night Isaac. Thanks for being a great friend."

"Good Night Kayden. I am happy to be your friend. You're an awesome guy," I tell him as I strip off my t-shirt and jeans.

Well apparently staying up until 4 wasn't such a great idea. By the time I woke up, Kayden was the only one left. I guess the other guys had places to go. I pull my phone out of my pocket only to see I have a text message from Dylan saying that they are over at his house next door. I guess Mrs. Davis decided to cook breakfast for us. I love her almost as much as I love my mom. I suppose I should have warned Kayden that I am a restless sleeper. I ended up with my feet covering his. The contact wasn't something I was too keen about, I didn't want him to think I was trying to cuddle with him or something. As soon as I moved them, I woke him up, which I felt bad about.

"Good morning Kayden. Sorry about that, I guess I forgot to warn you that I occasionally flail with I sleep."

"Mmmmmm it's alright Isaac. I don't mind at all," He answered.

"Haha I guess you are a cuddler huh?" I ask as I climb over the armrest to tickle him to get him to wake up faster. I love when Mrs. Davis cooks breakfast, as she makes the best waffles ever, so I wanted to get over there before the rest of the guys eat em all! Kayden, apparently, isn't a morning person, and doesn't react well to my tickling. He decides it's a good idea to wrestle me back.

"Holy fuck Kayden you are strong!" I exclaim as he rolls me over and pushes me down on the recliner. I think I briefly felt his morning wood press into my thigh. "Damn his dick feels huge!"

I think as I continue to fight back. He is definitely a "grower" and not a "shower." Finally I decided to give up and I let my body go limp with Kayden pinning my wrists back.

But that's when it happened. The life changing moment. As I was looking up into Kayden's blue eyes, he leaned down and kissed me right on the lips. Needless to say I wasn't expecting that at all. His luscious lips connected with mine and I was completely stunned, both at the randomness of his actions and the spark I felt as soon as it happened. However, I didn't even register to push him off of me before:

"Ohhh fuck what did I just do?!?!" Kayden screams. "I am so sorry Isaac! FUCK!" was the last thing I heard as he grabbed his stuff and took off down the stairs. I was too stunned to even get up and follow. He threw his shit in the car and took off down the road, while I was left sitting in my theater room, wondering why the fuck I considered kissing him back...

Hope you all liked it! Let me know what you think! Also, if you have the means to do so, please donate to Nifty. This website allows us to read and write in a safe environment. Help keep it up for poor college kids like myself!
