Tim and Hank: Chapter 12
Chapter 12: Tim
I have always loved Thanksgiving. Mom is a great cook and her roast turkey dinner is one of my all-time favorites. Thanksgiving is also extra special to me because the four of us get to sit together as a family. We're all so busy we just don't get to sit down for dinner together. When Mom is on night shifts at the hospital, it's even worse. Even though I don't really follow pro football, I did watch the Lions game with Dad and Jeff and I had a good time.
After eating too much turkey and fixings, I laid down to take a little nap. As I laid on my bed, I looked at Hank's teddy bear on my nightstand and smiled.
That evening at 6:30, Jeff dropped me off at Hank's house on his way to Heather's. Even though Hank's parents seemed to be okay with Hank and me, and they seemed to like me, I was still really nervous. I hadn't met the rest of Hank's family yet, except for his sister Gina. My hand was shaking when I rang the doorbell. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. The door opened and Hank was grinning widely as he pulled me inside.
"Fuck, I've been waiting to see you all day, Timmy," he said quietly.
I chuckled. "I missed you, too."
"I've already told everyone about you, so don't be nervous, okay?"
"Yeah... right. Don't be nervous."
Hank laughed and gave me a sideways hug around my shoulders. He took my jacket and hung it in the hall closet.
"Come on, let me introduce you to everyone," he said as he grabbed my hand and led me to the family room at the back of the house.
Mr. Ballatori was sitting in a recliner watching football on the big flat panel TV. Hank's two older brothers and Gina were sitting on the couch. His youngest sister was laying on her stomach on the floor reading a book. Mrs. Ballatori was in the kitchen, which was open to the family room.
As soon as Hank and I walked into the room, everyone turned and looked up at us. My hands began to sweat and I felt like I might pass out. Hank squeezed my hand.
"Everyone, this is Tim," Hank announced.
"Timothy, it's good to see you again," Mrs. Ballatori called out from the kitchen.
"Thanks. It's good to see you, too," I squeaked out.
"Tim, this is my oldest brother, Lauro. We all call him Lor."
Lor was sitting on the left of the sofa. He was built like all of the men in Hank's family, big and athletic looking. He had the same blue eyes and thick black hair, however his hair was cut in a military style flat top. He had a thick mustache and goatee. He was extremely intimidating, even more so than Mr. Ballatori, because of the hard look on his face. I knew from Hank that he was a cop, a county deputy not one of our city cops, and he was 24 years old. He had a fiancée, but she was out of town visiting her parents for the holiday.
"Hi," I managed to say.
"Tim," Lore grunted at me. His eyes cut through me and his face was expressionless. I squirmed a little bit as he assessed me before returning his gaze back to the television.
"Next to him is Vince," Hank said.
"Hey, Tim," Vince said with a smile.
Vince wore his shiny black hair longer than the rest of the guys. It hung down just past his collar and was wavy. Vince had a thick mustache that continued down to his chin, like a goatee but no hair in the middle. Vince seemed much friendlier than his older brother and had a genuine smile on his face. Hank told me previously that Vince was 20 years old and was a firefighter. Hank and Vince were always close growing up since they always shared a bedroom.
"You already know Gina."
"Hi, Tim," Gina said with a smile. "It's nice to have you over."
"Thanks."
"And that's Maria down on the floor."
Maria was 12 and was cute. She had her dark hair pulled back in a ponytail and she wore glasses, which hid her bright blue eyes. She looked up from her book and waved and smiled. "Hi, Tim."
"Make yourself at home, Tim," Mr. Ballatori offered.
"Thanks, Mr. Ballatori."
I sat down on the empty love seat with Hank, who put his arm around my shoulders.
"See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" Hank whispered in my ear.
"Tim, would you like something to drink?" Gina offered, while shooting Hank a dirty look.
"Oops, sorry 'bout that," Hank said with chuckle.
"Maybe some water, please," I said.
Hank started to stand, but Gina pushed him back down and said, "No, don't pretend to want to get up. I'll get it."
Hank sat back down and winked at me and I smiled and tried to stifle a giggle. I leaned back onto Hank's arm and he pulled me a little bit closer to him. I glanced up at him and he was watching the game with a satisfied smile on his face.
The Ballatoris ate their Thanksgiving dinner early in the afternoon like we did. At night, instead of eating in the formal dining room, Mrs. Ballatori set everything out on the breakfast bar and we loaded our plates like a buffet. After we got our food, we returned to the living room and ate on TV trays. Mr. Ballatori said grace before we ate. Our family never really went to church and we didn't ever really say grace, so that was a little different for me, but I didn't mind it. It was kind of nice.
I told Mrs. Ballatori that everything was delicious, and it really was. It was like the same meal we had at our house, but everything was prepared slightly different. They also had a pan of lasagna. I had a little piece of that and it was like the best thing I ever tasted.
"Oh, my god, this is so good," I whispered to Hank, pointing to the lasagna.
"Ma makes the best lasagna."
"Mm-hmm," I mumbled as I took another bite.
After dinner, Hank and I took our plates into the kitchen and we rinsed them off and put them into the dishwasher. Hank got a can of Coke for himself and one for me. We grabbed our jackets and I followed him out to the deck and down the steps to the back yard. We sat down at the picnic table and Hank lit a smoke.
"Thank you for inviting me today, Hank," I said.
"Thank you for coming, babe," he said.
He leaned his head back and began blowing smoke rings. I was fascinated. It was actually kind of hot.
I watched Hank smoke and he smiled and chuckled quietly. "You're staring, babe."
"Sorry," I said blushing. "You're just... you're kind of sexy when you smoke like that."
Hank laughed out loud and shook his head. He leaned his head back and blew out some more smoke rings.
I looked up to see Vince walk up to table. He lit a cigarette and sat down next to me. "Hey, kids."
Vince looked at me and said, "You don't smoke, do you?"
I shook my head 'no'.
"Good. It's a filthy habit. Don't let Hank get you started."
"This coming from the guy who got me started," Hank laughed.
"How old are you anyway, kid?" Vince asked me.
"I'm fourteen," I answered.
"Jesus. You're robbing the cradle, Hank."
Hank rolled his eyes. "He's only a year and half younger than me. I'm sixteen, Vince."
"Shit, I forget how young you are. You look like a man."
Lor walked up to the table. He pulled a pack of cigarette out of his jacket pocket and cupped his hand over the end while he lit it. He sat down next to Hank and narrowed his eyes at him. "Are you even old enough to be smoking?"
"You don't need to worry about that, Lauro."
"I do if you're breaking the law... Enrico."
Hank rolled his eyes. "Gimme a break, will ya?"
Lor looked me over and said, "So, what's your story, kid?"
"W-w-what do you mean?" I stammered.
"Leave him alone, Lor," Hank warned.
"You look like a good kid. What are you doing hanging out with a dumb wannabe thug like Hank?"
Hank's jaw tightened and his face turned red.
I didn't know what to say and just muttered, "Um... uh..."
Lor smirked and looked me in the eye with a smug expression on his face. "Ah, that's right. You're a little cocksucker. You like bad boys with big dicks, huh?"
I turned my away from him and hung my head down down. When Hank saw the tears falling from my eyes, he went ballistic.
"You fucking asshole!" Hank shouted as he jumped off the table and pulled Lor as hard as he could off the bench and onto the ground. He straddled Lor's chest and punched him the face.
I jumped to my feet and backed away as Vince stepped up to break up the fight.
Hank might have caught Lor off guard, but Lor was bigger and stronger than Hank. Lor dodged Hank's second punch and pushed Hank back, knocking Hank onto his back. Lor and Hank both got up to their feet and Hank swung at Lor who blocked the punch and then connected with Hank's gut and then a jab to the nose sent Hank onto his back.
"Knock it off, both of you!" Vince shouted.
Vince pulled Lor back and I ran to Hank and knelt down next to him. Hank propped himself up on his elbow and I pulled a knitted glove out of my jacket pocket and put it on Hank's bleeding nose.
"What the hell is going on out here?!" Mr. Ballatori bellowed as he stepped out into the back yard.
I looked up to see Mrs. Ballatori and the girls standing at the railing on the deck, looking on in shock.
"The little thug swung at me," Lor said as he shrugged Vince's hand off his arm.
"You started it!" Hank yelled as he threw my glove onto the ground and stood up. He wiped his nose on his shirt sleeve and spit blood onto the ground.
"You threw the first punch."
"You called Tim a cocksucker!"
"He sucks your cock; that makes him a cocksucker."
Hank lunged at Lor, but Vince pulled him back.
I stifled a sob and hung my head.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, boy?" Mr. Ballatori said as he smacked the back of Lor's head with enough force to make Lor stumble forward.
"He doesn't belong here. We don't want him here," Lor growled while looking at me.
Everyone started arguing. I turned and ran around the side of the house. I leaned against it for a second and sobbed twice. I wiped my nose and my face and then took off running for home.
"Tim! Tim! Wait!"
As I ran down the sidewalk, I looked back and saw Hank chasing me. "STOP!" he shouted.
I stopped running and panted as I tried to catch my breath and let Hank catch up to me. He pulled me into a hug and I buried my head into his chest and cried.
"Come back home with me, Tim. Please," Hank whispered.
"I can't. I shouldn't have come. I ruined your dinner."
"You didn't ruin anything. That fucker Lor did. Everyone else wanted you there."
Hank broke the hug and held me at arms length with his hands on my shoulders. "I want you there, baby. Okay?"
I heard a deep voice from behind Hank. "Tim..."
I looked over Hank's shoulder and saw Mr. Ballatori walking up the sidewalk towards us.
"Come on, come back home," he said to me. "We haven't had dessert yet."
I looked at Hank and Hank nodded to me. I wiped my face and sniffled. Mr. Ballatori put his hand on the small of my back and guided me back towards the house. I walked between him and Hank. Mr. Ballatori's hand stayed on my back the whole way back. As we neared the house, Lor backed out of the driveway in his truck and sped off.
"Go clean yourself up, Enrico," Mr. Ballatori told Hank as we stepped into the house.
Mr. Ballatori guided me to the formal living room off the foyer. He looked at me and sighed.
"I'm sorry," I whispered to him. "I didn't mean to ruin your Thanksgiving."
I sniffled and tried not to start crying again in front of Hank's dad.
"You didn't ruin anything, you hear me? My oldest son... He and Hank have always butted heads. I will never understand what it is with the two of them. I told you earlier that you were always welcome in our house. I invited you into my home to spend the evening with my family. You belong here. You are wanted here. Do you understand?"
I nodded. "Yes, sir."
"All right, now go spend some time with Hank or we'll have to listen to him complain all night."
"Yeah, for such a tough guy, he sure can be a big baby when he doesn't get his way," I said, trying to make a joke.
Mr. Ballatori laughed loudly. "You're a good kid. I can see why Hank loves you."
"Thank you, sir."
He clapped me on the back and we walked back into the family room. Mr. Ballatori had his hand on my back while walking me into the room. It was soothing and it made me feel better that he was comforting me. Everyone looked up at me when we entered and looked at me with pity or sympathy. I gulped and felt really embarrassed. Mrs. Ballatori gave me a hug and apologized for Lauro's horrible behavior. I thanked her and she kissed my cheek.
Hank came running down the stairs wearing a new shirt and sweatpants and he smiled really big when he saw me. His nose was a little bruised, but he looked okay otherwise. He gave me a big hug and then led me to the love seat where we sat with his arm tight around me.
"You okay?" he whispered.
"Yeah. Does your nose hurt?"
"A little, but I took some ibuprofen."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry."
After we had a slice of homemade apple pie, I thanked Mrs. Ballatori and told her it was the best pie I ever tasted. She said she was glad I enjoyed it and would set aside a slice to take home with me.
Hank nodded towards the stairs and I followed him up to his bedroom. He shut the door behind us. He looked a little bit embarrassed as he quickly made the bed. I giggled and he grabbed me and pushed me down onto my back on the bed and jumped on top of me and kissed me. He rolled onto his side facing me and propped his head up with his hand. He threw his leg over mine and stroked my chest with his hand.
"Are you okay, Timmy?" he asked. "Really?"
"Yeah. I'm okay."
"I'm so sorry about my brother. Lor's always been an ass. He thinks he runs the house and is right about everything. He had no right to disrespect you like that. I could have killed him. Ma and Dad were pissed at him. I had never seen Ma or Dad so mad. Ever. When he refused to apologize to you, Dad basically threw him out."
"Thank you for sticking up for me, Hank."
"You're my boy. That's my job. I will always protect you, Timmy."
"Your dad said I was always welcome in his house. I still feel bad for causing you to get into a fight with your brother."
"Don't you worry about that, okay? Besides, all I got was a little bruise on my nose. Lor's gonna have a black eye."
I nodded and grinned, amazed that my boyfriend was willing to fight his bigger, stronger brother for me.
"What time do you have to be home?" he asked.
"Midnight."
"I wish you could stay over."
"Me, too. I don't think Dad would let me. I think he thinks we'll 'do it'."
Hank chuckled, then leaned down and gently kissed me on the lips. I moved my hand around to the back of his head and stroked the nape of his neck. I kissed the bridge of his nose where it was bruised. Hank leaned down and kissed me again. He slipped his tongue into my mouth and I played 'keep away' with my tongue, and we giggled as we kissed. He pressed harder into my mouth and I moaned as his hand slipped up my shirt and moved back and forth between my nipples.
I whimpered quietly as we made out. I could feel his hard-on pressing into my side.
He licked my earlobe and whispered, "Your dad's right to worry. I do wanna 'do it' with you, Timmy."
I shuddered at the thought of going all the way with Hank. When he moved down to my neck and began gently sucking, I pulled at the drawstring of his sweats. I slipped my hand inside and found the fly opening of his boxers and reached in and began stroking his big dick.
He quietly groaned in my ear and moved his hand down to my crotch. I pushed my hips up as his hand squeezed my throbbing boner through my cargo pants. I began moving my hand on him with a purpose.
"Oh, yeah, baby," Hank whispered in my ear. "Don't stop."
Hank sucked on my neck as he continued to squeeze my dick. I sped up my hand movements on him. Long and firm strokes up and down his shaft, gliding his foreskin back and forth over the head.
The bedroom door opened suddenly and Vince strolled in. Hank and I jumped and I jerked my hand away from inside Hank's sweatpants and he covered his crotch with a pillow.
"Fuck, man, don't you fucking knock?!" Hank yelled.
Vince closed the door behind him and leaned up against it, snickering.
"It's my room, too," he said. "Why should I knock?"
Hank scoffed. "You don't live here anymore, asshole. This is my room."
"What if I was Dad? I wouldn't want to get caught doing what you're doing in here."
"Dad wouldn't walk in without knocking."
Vince chuckled. "Sorry, Hank. I'm just pulling your chain. Figuratively speaking. I'll leave the literal to Tim."
Vince laughed at his joke and I blushed bright and wanted to crawl under the blankets.
Hank sighed. "You're not as funny as you think you are."
Vince shrugged, "Anyway, I just wanted to say 'bye' before I headed out."
Hank and I got up off the bed. Hank gave Vince a hug and a pat on the back. Vince hugged me as well.
"It was good meeting you, kid," Vince said to me.
"Thanks. You too."
"Try not to let this big guy corrupt you."
"I won't," I said with a smile.
"See you guys later."
"Bye, Vince," Hank said.
"Be good, Hank."
Vince left and closed the door after him.
Hank looked at me and cocked his head to the side and rubbed his chin as if deep in thought. "Now... where were we? Oh yeah!"
Hank grabbed me and pulled me down onto the bed. We laid together on our sides and began kissing and making out. Before long, he pushed my hand into his sweats and I was jerking him off.
Hank stopped sucking my neck and moved up to my ear and whispered, "You wanna suck it?"
I pushed the front of his sweats and boxers down and his penis snapped up against his stomach. I pushed Hank's chest so he was laying flat on the bed. While holding his sweats and boxers with my left hand, I bent down and lifted his cock with my right hand and took him in my mouth and sucked and bobbed up and down. I was a little worried about getting caught, so I worked him hard and fast with the intention of getting him off quickly.
"I'm getting close," he whispered. "Don't stop, baby... Oh god, suck my cock, Timmy..."
I twisted my hand up and down as I sucked him and when I flattened my hand on the base and took him into my throat, Hank groaned and I felt his dick pulse. I backed off and sucked and licked on the head while I jerked his shaft with my hand. Hank let out a muffled grunt, and the first blast hit the roof of my mouth while Hank's hips bucked up into me and he tried to stifle his groans. I swallowed every drop of his load and then licked all around to clean him up.
I put him back in his boxers and sweats and patted it. I looked up at Hank and he had his eyes closed with a goofy grin on his face. I laughed quietly and he opened his eyes and laughed with me. I laid down on my side next to him with my head on his shoulder. Hank put his arm around my back and I put mine around his chest. Hank started snoring softly as I felt my own eyes drooping and I quickly fell asleep cuddled up on him.
***
I heard Hank groan "Okay" and I opened my eyes. I was still laying on Hank's chest. His father was standing in the doorway and he smiled and winked at me before closing the door.
I sat up. "What's going on?"
"We fell asleep. Dad woke me up to tell me it was 11:45... I need to take you home."
"Oh."
Hank got up and pulled me out of bed. He threw on a pair of shoes and we headed downstairs. I grabbed my jacket and we walked out to Hank's truck. Hank lit a smoke before starting the truck and we backed out of the driveway and headed to my house.
"Can you hang out tomorrow?" he asked.
"Yeah. We're not doing anything."
"Cool."
As Hank pulled up in front of the house, he finished his last drag of his smoke and flicked the butt onto the pavement.
"Thank you, Hank."
"You're welcome, baby. Thank you for coming over tonight."
"It was nice sleeping with you... I meant, taking that nap with you."
"Yeah. I slept good."
I gave Hank a quick kiss and said "bye" and headed into the house. I went right into my bedroom and crawled under the blankets and went to sleep.
