Chapter 16

Timothée was laying on his bed, wearing only black boxer briefs, checking the time on his phone.

It was ten minutes to midnight.

He'd smiled when he'd put the briefs on, realizing that they weren't his, but Kolby's.

Somehow, he'd mixed them up.

He'd put them on, feeling an intimacy with his lover, knowing he'd worn them before.

That thought had made his center grow.

He checked his phone again, waiting to call Kolby with the news.

That his parents' love for him had not changed.

They loved him for who he wanted to be, who he wanted to love.

He'd told them over dinner all that had happened in London, from meeting Kolby, to fighting off Harry, then the days of happiness in Kolby's arms after.

And the love that had entered his heart.

He went to his bedroom before dessert, returning with Kolby's card, the young man telling his parents about the sketch.

He showed them the card, Nicole seeing words written behind, not wanting to intrude on her son's privacy.

"We won't read his written words, son, that's private. But this drawing of you and him is astounding.  You can see the happiness in both your eyes. You both seem so identical in so many superficial ways." she smiled, Timothée kissing her cheek.

"His are green also. We keep joking with each other that we're twins. Here, I have some real photos of him and me on my phone." he smiled, grabbing his phone, showing both of his parents pictures he'd taken the last day he and Kolby had gone sightseeing.

"My, he's so handsome. He's slim like you but he looks more muscular." Marc smiled, Timothée nodding.

"He is, Dad. His body is amazing. I was so surprised by his injuries. They didn't disgust me. I just saw them as a specialness that only enhanced his beauty." Timothée smiled, his parents smiling at each other.

Nicole looked at the photos again, scanning his hands and his legs.

"He tries to hide his missing finger, keeping his hands turned. His leg you won't see unless he's in shorts or briefs. But all of them are beautiful." Timothée smiled.

They both knew their son would never judge a person on their disabilities.

"How could he ever have gotten through that tragedy? His father was a monster!" Nicole said, Timothée agreeing.

"He was, Mom. And his first boyfriend was a bastard. I would never have left him." he said, the young man staring at the photos of Kolby.

"Sounds like you really are attracted to him, Timothée. We're both happy for you. So, when do we meet this young man that's captured your heart?" Marc smiled, Timothée smiling at his father.

"I don't know, Dad. I'm busy for the next while after Christmas with my new movie. Kolby's got a good job now. I think it's going to be hard for our schedules to click. But I'm going to do my hardest to see him as often as I can. I love him."

Marc patted his son's shoulder.

"Well, aren't you taking time off over the Christmas holidays?" Nicole said, Timothée nodding.

"Yes, Mom. But we always go to Nana's." he smiled, his parents' eyes meeting.

"You've grown up, Timothée. Your life takes its own path now. Nana would understand if you missed this year. Remember that Pauline didn't go last year. She's in a relationship now as well." Marc said, Timothée looking at both his parents.

"You think she wouldn't mind my not going? I'd love to surprise Kolby with a Christmas visit. I'll call her tomorrow and ask. That would work with my plans." he smiled, his parents looking confused.

"What plans, love?" Nicole smiled.

Timothée smiled, letting his parents in on something he was working on.

"You called both of them?" Nicole said, Timothée nodding.

"Diana's coming over tomorrow. And James surprisingly is in London right now. That works so well with my idea. We went over his schedule this morning." Timothée smiled, the young man quietly talking to both his parents.

Here it now was near midnight, his parents having left after ten.

He checked his phone again, smiling, waiting for midnight, knowing Kolby was usually up at six in the morning, having breakfast before heading for work.

His hand went over his briefs, feeling the excitement growing there.

Any thoughts of Kolby hardened his passion.

He smiled, hitting the saved number.

"Hello, Timothée!" Nancy said, answering Kolby's phone.

"Hi, Momma Bear! How are you doing?" he smiled, Nancy and him chatting.

"So, where's that sexy man of mine?" he grinned, Nancy laughing.

"Your young man is showering. He should be out shortly. Hang on, I'll go bang on the door." she said, chatting with him as she walked down the hall.

Timothée heard her banging on the door, then Kolby's voice.

"Yes? I'm almost done!" he heard, then Nancy yelling.

"Your stud muffin is pining for you on the phone!" she yelled, Timothée hearing the door opening, then a new voice coming on the phone.

"My Timbo! You caught me in the shower. Wet and dripping for you." Kolby smiled, standing in a towel, Nancy laughing and walking back down the hallway towards the kitchen.

"Ooh, one hot stud all naked and wet. Wish I was there." Timothée smiled, relaxing back into the bed, his hand going into his briefs, wrapping around his hardening shaft.

"Oh, sorry. Timothée isn't here." Kolby smiled, shutting the bathroom door, sensing some sensuality in Timothée's voice.

"Thanks for the compliment, babe. So, how's it hanging?"

"Right now, it's straight up, thinking of you. I was mid-stroke when she banged on the door. It's a wonder I didn't explode."

Timothée began laughing, Kolby smiling, the man removing his towel, walking back into the shower, slowing down the water flow so he could hear his man.

"Well don't let me stop you. Stroke that beauty." he smiled, Kolby grinning.

"I'm back in the shower, naked and ready."

"Mm, babe. I'm in bed in your black boxer briefs."

"Sweet, you found them." Kolby smiled, Timothée sitting up a bit.

`"You switched our briefs, didn't you?

"I need you close. I've been wearing yours since you left. I feel like you're still here with me, close to me. Sorry if that sounds cheesy." he said, Timothée feeling him blushing.

"It's not, babe. It's incredibly sweet. I was thinking the same thing when I slipped yours on. My dick's been hard since I thought that."

Kolby smiled, knowing the two were in sync.

"You're stroking that beautiful shaft, aren't you babe?" Kolby smiled, his own hand on his hard shaft.

"Yes, my love. You excite me even when you're not here. I've jerked off four times since coming home, you in my mind every time." Timothée smiled, Kolby leaning against the shower wall.

"You're slow, old timer. It's been six for me."

Timothée laughed, feeling his man's sensual tone.

"Before we get too far into this passion, my young lover, I need to tell you the news." Timothée smiled, Kolby feeling his new happiness.

"You don't need to, my Timbo. Your parents told you that their love hasn't changed for you. That they accept your love for me."

Timothée sat up now, feeling Kolby's own happiness.

"How did you know?" he said, Kolby smiling.

"I felt the happiness in your voice, and your eagerness to call me first thing this morning. I know it's late back there in New York."

"Yes, it's after midnight. I just couldn't sleep without sharing the news with you. I'm so happy they still love me."

"They'll never stop loving you, Timbo. You're their loving son. I could easily tell that your family is tight and loving."

"We are, Kobe. And they're all going to love you. I'm telling my sister this week. I showed my mom and dad your painting and sketch card. They think you're very talented." Timothée said, feeling his man's blushing calmness.

"They also think you're one fine handsome stud. I showed them the selfies I took the day we were sightseeing."

"You're the handsome stud, my sexy Timbo."

"Well, I'm not totally naked, stroking myself in the shower." Timothée smiled.

"Then get those briefs off, stud muffin." Kolby said with soft lust, Timothée laughing, hearing him call him Nancy's name.

Timothée shucked his briefs, the man's hand going back to his shaft.

For ten minutes he and Kolby had phone sex, both making each other moan with words of passion and lust.

Both exploded at the same moment, Kolby's spurting on the shower floor, Timothée all over his chest.

They both came down from their climaxes, Timothée smiling.

"Now I need a shower." he smiled, Kolby laughing, washing his slim body under the water spray.

"I'm squeaky clean." he smiled, Kolby shutting off the shower.

"Wait till you see my shower. It's big enough for both of us to lay down in." Timothée smiled, Kolby hearing the passion in his voice.

"You taking me again under falling water, that would be so romantic." Kolby said, Timothée thinking the same thing, only he being the one taken.

"My same thoughts, my love. We are so in tune with each other's needs." he smiled, stifling a soft yawn.

"Aw, did I tire my old man out?" Kolby smirked, Timothée smiling.

"I'll match your passion for my passion, my Kobe." he smiled, Kolby feeling his happiness.

"Get some sleep, my love. I'm going to dress and have breakfast. I'll be in your dreams."

"I love you, Kobe."
"Love you more, Timbo."

Timothée smiled, closing off the call, heading for the bathroom to clean up.

Then into dreamland walking with his soulmate.

The week flew by; Kobe and Timothée flowing through their lives.

Timothée met with Diane Watson on Thursday morning, she arriving at his condo.

They discussed some things, her eyes widening as the young man talked.
He showed her a few things, the older woman surprised, nodding in agreement as he talked.

She filled him in on her itinerary next week, the young man smiling.

On Friday morning Timothée met with Kylie at her downtown New York condo, she finally back from Los Angeles.

The meeting was short and to the point.

Timothée was totally honest with her, she sensing he was at the end of his rope regarding their fake relationship.

The two mutually agreed that their time together was now over.

That even glamor and fame shouldn't be the goal of a relationship.

Their friendship was still there, but the romance was long gone.

She even confided in him that she'd met someone in Los Angeles who lit a spark in her heart.

Timothée confided in her that he'd met someone special himself.

He also told her of Harry's lewd advances, the woman holding him gently, voicing her own disgust at what her friend had tried to do to him.

They parted as friends, Timothée happy that fake part of his life was over.

On to the greater true happiness.

For Kolby the week ran smoothly, Evan more professional, being respectful to him as well.

Stephan and Kolby both smiled, sensing the young man was maybe calming down.

Timothée and Kolby talked often, and cammed a few times as well.

The time difference was a hurdle, Timothée staying up later to talk with his love before he went to work.

Kolby called him after work, Timothée usually eating lunch, the two camming then.

Friday Kolby gave Timothée a cam strip show, Timothée returning the favor, igniting their desires, the two watching each other orgasm.

Kolby spent the day with Nancy on Saturday, the two visiting some friends of hers in West London.

On Sunday Kolby sang in the choir again, a repeat of his solo given, the congregation requesting it again.

His voice filled the church, many smiling at its beauty, one person staring in quiet awe.

Nancy smiled, seeing her young friend captivate everyone.

Timothée went with his parents to his grandparents' home for Sunday dinner, his Nana loving the young man.

He talked to his Nana about Kolby, she smiling at the love showing in her grandson's eyes.

She understood his wanting to spend time with his new boyfriend.

His parents had already broken the news to her at Timothée's request, not wanting her to be shocked when she saw him.

The woman's love for her grandson didn't change, she understood his need to be himself.

Timothée left her home feeling deeply happy.

He was going to surprise his lover with a Christmas visit.

Monday morning, he received a call from James Hardwick, the two talking for over half an hour.

Timothée hung up, a wide smile on his face.

He searched his phone, hitting another number.

The phone rang, a female voice coming on the line.

He smiled, quietly talking to Nancy, the woman smiling as he talked.

She thought it was a wonderful idea that Timothée wanted to surprise his boyfriend by spending Christmas with him.

She knew it would make the boy deeply happy.

They finalized some things, both swearing secrecy.

Timothée smiled, things falling into place.

Christmas was next Monday.

He had a few days to shop for some special things, for Kolby and his friends.

He was flying back to London Friday.

He was having dinner with his parents tomorrow night, all his family celebrating Christmas with him then.

His sister was coming, the young man wanting to share his new happiness with her.

She was four years older than Timothée, but the two had always had a close loving relationship.

He wasn't decorating his home for Christmas, not planning on being there.

He was certain that Kolby and Nancy would have their flat fully decorated with a nice tree and everything.

He smiled, dying to be in his man's arms again.

He didn't realize that fate was playing another hand against Kolby's injured soul.

Wednesday evening Kolby was just getting set to walk out of his flat, choir practice on his mind, the man about to head to the church.

Tonight, they were rehearsing Sunday's Christmas Eve hymns.

Nancy was working until eight, the hour now a quarter after seven.

He heard a knock on the flat's front door, the man just putting on his jacket, his boots already on.

He walked up to it, opening it.

Standing in front of him was Harry Styles.

He stepped back in surprise, the man smiling at him.

"What are you doing here Harry?" he said, Harry staring at him.

"Can we have a talk, Kolby?" Harry said, Kolby zipping up his jacket.

"I'm sorry, I was just leaving. I have choir practice at seven-thirty." he said, Harry nodding.

"Are you walking there? Could I walk with you and talk?" he said, Kolby staring at him.

"How did you find out where I live?"

"Through a friend. Timothée told me." Harry said, Kolby raising an eyebrow.

The young man walked out of his flat, locking the door behind him, the two staring at each other.

"Timothée wouldn't give you that information. But I know Evan would." Kolby said, walking towards the elevator, Harry's eyes widening in surprise.

He slowly followed the young man, the elevator opening, both stepping into it, the doors closing, Kolby hitting the ground floor button.

"You're very intelligent. How did you know he told me?" Harry said, looking at the young man, underestimating him.

"I watch people, Harry. I could see him eyeing you up and down at the restaurant last week. You both were giving each other looks. I reasoned out you'd paid him to inform you when I would show up. That's the only way you could have known I was there the day you showed up. Stephan or Timothée wouldn't have told you. Same as I now know Evan's told you where I live."

"Yes, he's a very willing, greedy young man. Greed always aids me." Harry said, Kolby staring at him.

The elevator opened, the two men walking out of the building, Harry walking with Kolby towards the church.

The evening was dark, the clouds making it even darker.

"What do you want, Harry?" Kolby said, having had enough of the man's staring at him.

"What's it going to take for you to leave Timothée? I know you two are fuck buddies. He's so above your station, slut. Let him go." he said, the two men stopping in the middle of a stone bridge a few blocks from the church.

Kolby leaned back on the steel railing along the bridge's side, staring at the young singer.

"Envious, are you? That I can give him what you can't? He told me what you tried to do to him. All you're interested in is his ass. Another notch on your disgusting bed post. I'm in love with his soul and heart." Kolby said, standing up for his man.

"You're in love with him? Are you fucking kidding me?! You're a hole for him to sink his dick in. Some slutty bitch for him to explore with. You're ass has trained him, now leave him." Harry said, folding his arms.

"I love him, and he loves me. Nothing you can say will stop that." Kolby said, about to walk away from the man, Harry grabbing his arm, Kolby stopping.

"How about money, Kolby? I'm sure you're broke. Evan gave me all your history. Some notes were in your employee file. About your parents dying, you injured in the same accident. You left with nothing after. You're nothing but a common street fag. Sure, you're hot, surprisingly. Even if you are a cripple. How about I pay you to leave him? Or would you like to suck some more celebrity dick as a bonus? Evan loves mine."

Kolby instantly knew what Harry had paid Evan with.

"I don't want your money or your tattooed ass! Go fuck Evan if you want that! Apparently, he has no taste. Let go of my arm!" Kolby said, Harry releasing his arm.

"Have you talked to Timothée this week?"

"I talked to him this morning." Kolby said, Harry smiling.

"Was he alone then?" he said, Kolby looking confused.

"Yes, he was."

"That's strange. Shawn Mendes called me this afternoon, downright thrilled. He said he'd been in bed all night with Timothée, breeding his ass. You've trained his ass well. Timothée's become a real cock whore."

Kolby lost it, rushing the man, grabbing him, holding him by his coat.

"You're fucking lying! My Timbo would never do that!" Kolby said, Harry laughing, then pushing the young man backwards with force, after Kolby grabbed his arms.

Kolby lost his footing, falling backwards hitting the bridge's railing hard, the steel rails snapping, the young man falling into the air.

Harry's eyes widened in shock, rushing forward, too late to grab the young man, Kolby falling off the bridge.

Harry stared in horror as he saw the young man hit a cement embankment twenty feet below, then roll down to the water's edge, laying still on the soft, muddy riverbank.

He saw the young man's metal leg lying beside the embankment, its metal twisted and bent.

Harry looked around, seeing no one.

He looked down again, seeing Kolby wasn't moving, the darkness almost hiding his form from the bridge.

His face flooded with panic, the young singer moving, walking quickly away, pulling his hat farther down over his face.

Kolby lay still on the river's bank, the young man alone.

Nancy was worried, looking at her watch, the woman walking in the evening's coolness.

It was a quarter to nine, Kolby never arriving at the church.

She'd received a phone call from the minister as she'd walked into the flat after work, the minister wondering where he was.

He never missed a practice, especially this important one.

Nancy had called Stephan, hoping he was with him.

The young man hadn't seen or talked to him since he'd left work at five-thirty.

Nancy had talked to Kolby herself at six-thirty, the young man saying he was heading for choir practice in a half hour.

She'd told Stephan that, the young man trying to calm her down, saying he and Olivia would be right over.

Here now it was almost nine; Nancy, Stephan and Olivia heading for the church.

They walked over the bridge, Stephan seeing one railing hanging over the edge, looking like it had broken.

He thought that looked strange, it needing repair.

He put it out of his mind, walking with Nancy and Olivia.

They reached the church, seeing the choir members walking out, the female minister walking up to the three.

"He never showed?" Nancy said, looking worried.

"No, Nancy, Kolby never showed up. It's so strange. We know he wouldn't miss tonight." the Reverend said, Stephan nodding.

"Where's Kolby?" A young girl asked, looking at the three.

"We don't know. He said he was heading here. He's missing." Nancy softly said, Olivia's arm going around her.

Her phone went off, answering it, hoping it was Kolby.

She saw the name, answering it.

"Where's Kolby? He's not answering his phone!" Timothée said, Nancy hearing the worry in his voice.
"We...we don't know, Timothée. Have you heard from him?" she said, her eyes meeting Olivia's.

"No, not since this morning. But I have a feeling something's wrong. I felt something from Kolby." Timothée said, Nancy looking confused.

Stephan was talking with some of the choir members, a boy of about sixteen staring at him.

"Why isn't he here? Kolby was going to show me tonight how to sing a higher tenor on the last bridge of the hymn." he said, Stephan's eyes widening with shock, one word clicking in his mind.

"The bridge! Oh God!" he said, turning and running towards the far bridge.

"Oh God, he's at the bridge!" he screamed, everyone looked after him, Olivia and Nancy rushing after him with deep concern, the choir and minister following.

"What's going on, Nancy?" Timothée said, seated at his kitchen table, worry etching across his face.

"I don't know, Tim. Stephan's rushing to the bridge!" she said, trying to catch up to him.

Timothée's mind instantly flashed to that dream Kolby had had one night they'd slept together.

The dream of his being pushed by someone and falling.

"Oh God! He's fallen!" Timothée cried, Nancy reaching the bridge.

She saw Stephan moving across it, climbing down the far side, heading for the river.

She and Olivia were joined by the choir and minister, everyone looking over the broken railing.

Nancy gasped, Olivia's arm going around her.

"Oh, Kobe!" Nancy cried, seeing him lying on the riverbank, Stephan reaching him, gently putting his arm around him.

"What's wrong, Nancy?!" Timothée said, hearing her sobbing, Olivia gently took the phone from her.

"Timothée, it's Kolby! He's fallen off the bridge! He's not moving. Stephan's now down with him. Someone's calling for help. We must let you go." She said, seeing the minister on her phone, obviously calling for help.

"Please call me back, Olivia! And I'm on my way!" Timothée said, hearing the call end.

He sobbed, rushing into his bedroom, his bags already packed for Friday.

Kolby stirred, his eyes slowly opening.

He stared into two tearing green pools.

"Ti... Timbo?" he softly said, Timothée's hand in his, the actor sitting on the edge of his hospital bed.

"I'm here, Kobe. Your Timbo's here." he said, his cheeks wet with tears.

Kolby fought to keep his eyes opening, losing the battle.

It was the next morning; the young man having been sleeping for over twelve hours.

Police Rescue had carried the young man up from the bank, one officer finding Kolby's battered leg by the concrete embankment.

Nancy had climbed into the ambulance with him, Stephan and Olivia heading to the hospital with the police.

All the choir members and the minister had gathered on the bridge, a silent prayer for the young man said.

He'd remained unconscious throughout his rescue, paramedics looking him over.

"He's fighting to come out of it, Tim." Nancy said, standing behind him, her arm going around the young man.

"He's hurting, I can feel it." he said, Nancy kissing his cheek.

"He's alive, Tim. That's what's important. I can't believe we found him. If Stephan hadn't realized where he was, he'd have died of hypothermia." she said, beginning to cry, Timothée standing up, his arms going around her.

"He's alive, as you said. We're both going to give him all our love. That will heal him." he said, Nancy felt the young man's love for her adopted son.

Olivia and Stephan walked into the room, another young woman walking behind them, Timothée remembering her from some place.

"How's he doing?" Stephan said, hugging Timothée after he broke his hug with Nancy.

"He woke up for a moment and said my name." the actor said, Olivia kissing his cheek.

"He's going to be okay, Timothée." she said, Timothée nodding.

"Hello, Timothée. I'm Nancy's daughter Dina." the other young woman smiled softly, Timothée smiling at her, remembering her face from the photo on the shelf in Kolby's living room.

Timothée smiled, walking up to her and giving her a hug, the young woman surprised, smiling at her mother, her arms going around the actor, hugging him back.

"You're Momma Bear's happiness, Dina. I'm Timothée, Kolby's boyfriend. That automatically makes us friends." he smiled, Dina smiling at the young actor when he broke their hug.

"Kolby's almost my brother, Timothée. Welcome to our family." she smiled, walking up to her mother, the two hugging, Dina having arrived a few hours earlier from school for the Christmas break, calling her mother to find out where everyone was.

A doctor walked into the hospital room, smiling at everyone.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Dr. Matthews. I've gone over all Kolby's test results. There doesn't seem to be any bone fractures. The young man does have severe concussion, that's why he's been comatose the last few hours. Hello, Nancy." he smiled, Nancy nodding.

"He just woke up for a few moments, minutes ago, Jim." she said, the doctor patting her shoulder, walking up to his young patient, looking him over.

"He's coming out of the concussion and the drugs he received. He has a few bruised ribs and torn back muscles. His right wrist is badly sprained, we had to splint it, and so is his collar bone. He's going to be sore for a few days. The young man's lucky he didn't break a lot of bones judging by what I was told about what happened to him."

"God is on his side; I truly believe that." Nancy said, Timothée nodding.

"Who's...who's there?" a soft voice said, the doctor smiling down at his patient, seeing his eyes slowly open.

"Welcome back, Kolby. How do you feel?" he said, looking him over again.

"I feel like a hammer has been hitting my head." Kolby softly said, looking around.

Timothée smiled at him, walking around to the other side of the bed, Kolby's green eyes following him.

"What are you doing here, Timbo?" he softly said, the man taking his left hand gently, feeling the stump against his own fingers.

"I flew in on the Red Eye. Nancy was on the phone with me when they found you. You've been out for over twelve hours, Kobe." he said, squeezing his hand gently.

"We all found you, Kobe." Stephan said, his smiling face covered in tears, Olivia's arm around him.

Nancy and Dina waved at him, the young man moaning softly, his eyes meeting Timothée's again.

"I'll leave you to rest, Kolby. I'll check in on you soon. Try not to tax him, he needs the rest. If all things continue as it seems, he may be able to go home tomorrow for the holidays. He'll stay today for observation. He needs to be woken up every few hours if he sleeps." the doctor smiled, everyone thanking him, the man walking out of the private room.

Nancy was beside Kolby in seconds, standing on the right side of the bed, leaning down and kissing his cheek.

"I was so worried, my boy! We couldn't find you! The best nurse is right here. I'll look after you as I always have." she said, kissing his cheek again, the young man seeing the tears in her eyes, her daughter's arm around her.

"Welcome back, Kobe. How's my sexy brother? A famous boyfriend, how exciting!" the young woman smiled, leaning down and kissing him.

He softly smiled, moving a bit, softly gasping.

"Stay still, my love. Nothing's broken, but you're badly bruised." Timothée said, wiping his eyes.

"You didn't... you didn't have to come halfway across the world to make sure I was okay, Timbo." he said, Timothée leaning down and gently kissing his lips.

"I love you, Kobe. When you hurt, I'll always be at your side." he said, Timothée's tears began to flow again.

"I love you more, Timbo." Kolby said, his eyes closing again, everyone smiling at him, those green eyes opening again.

"What happened... where's Harry?" he softly said, everyone exchanging looks.

"Harry? What's he got to do with this?" Stephan said, Timothée and him exchanging glances.

"He was...he was walking with me to church. He showed up at my door wanting to talk. Evan...Evan gave him my address. He's been feeding him information about me...going through my records at work. I left for practice... Harry followed me. We...we stopped and argued on the bridge. He made me mad by what he said and I...I rushed him and then he pushed me...I...I fell backwards against the bridge railing, and I fell. Don't remember anything... after that."

Everyone looked shocked, staring at Timothée.

Stephan's eyes flashed with anger, Olivia looking at him.

"I'll kill him! That bastard tried to hurt you! And that conniving Evan!" he said angrily, Timothée's arm going around him.

"Calm down, Steph. That's not helping." he said, Stephan gradually calming down, nodding at Timothée.

Timothée sat down on the bed's edge, his hand again in Kolby's.

"What did Harry say that made you so angry, my love?" he asked, smiling softly at his boyfriend.

"He said...he said you were cheating on me...with Shawn in New York." Kolby softly said, his eyes tearing up, Timothée knowing how that lie would hurt Kolby.

"He lied to you, my love. You're the only man I'll ever want. I've been with--and will only ever want to be with--no one but you." he said, his tears flowing again.

"I know, Timbo. I didn't believe him. I was...I was so angry...I just lost it...rushing at him. He just laughed and pushed me back hard, I stumbled. I felt myself falling." he softly said, his eyes fighting to stay open.

"Close your eyes, my Kobe. You need to rest." Timothée softly said, the young man closing his eyes as Timothée leaned in, lightly kissing his lips.

"Please don't leave me, Timbo." he softly said, Timothée kissing his forehead.

"I'm going to be right here, babe. I'll be right here." Timothée said, the young man softly smiling, sleep overtaking him again.

Everyone quietly left the room, Timothée remaining by Kolby's side.

Stephan looked at his fiancée, kissing her lips.

"Stay here, my love. I'll be back soon." he said, the young man walking down the hallway.

Nancy, Dina and Olivia exchanged glances, the three sitting down in chairs, all looking at a disappearing Stephan.

End of Chapter 16

And so, Kolby was almost seriously injured in a near-fatal attack.
