Chapter 17

Kolby opened his eyes, looking around the hospital room.

He smiled, seeing his Timbo sleeping in a chair beside his bed, his right hand joined with his left.

He gently squeezed it, Timothée stirring in the chair, his green pools opening.

They traded smiles, Timothée rising and sitting on the bed's edge, their lips gently meeting.

"What time is it, Timbo?" Kolby softly said, Timothée smiling at him.

"It's around one o'clock in the afternoon, Thursday. Nancy and the girls have gone down for lunch, we don't know where Stephan's gone." he smiled, Kolby sighing.

"I'm so glad you're here, Timbo." he smiled, Timothée kissing his lips again.

He saw the young man was more focused, the last couple of hours of sleep helping him.

"Actually, my love, I was already set to visit tomorrow. I was going to surprise you for Christmas. I'm going to spend Christmas with you. I'm just a day early." he grinned, Kolby tearing up.

"Oh, Timbo. I can't believe you'd do that. What about your family? Your grandmother?" he said, Timothée smiling again.

"They all convinced me to go. We celebrated our Christmas two days ago. I didn't mention it because of the surprise."

"I can't believe you're here." Kolby said, a soft sob coming out of the young man, Timothée kissing his lips again.

"Merry Christmas, my love." he smiled, backing up a bit, Kolby squeezing his hand.

"I love you, Timothée. This is the greatest Christmas gift you could ever give me." he cried, Timothée wiping the tears from his cheeks.

"You're going to go home tomorrow, and we're going to spend Christmas together. I brought a whole bag filled with Christmas gifts for you." he smiled, Kolby blushing.

"I have some for you, I was going to ship them out today." he softly said, Timothée tearing up.

"The greatest gift I've been given is you, my love. I'm so glad you weren't hurt badly." Timothée said, tears letting go, the actor beginning to sob, Kolby pulling him gently down, Timothée laying gently against his warm chest, the young man's arms going around him, Timothée feeling the wrist splint on his back.

"Same here, beautiful. Our love is our greatest gift." he said, Timothée regaining his emotions, moving back.

"Sorry, Kobe. I didn't hurt you, did I?"

"No, babe. Can you help me get up? I need to go to the bathroom." he said, Timothée looking at him with worry.

"Your metallic leg was damaged in the fall, it's badly broken. Nancy ordered you a new one, I've already paid for it. Dr. Matthews left you some crutches in the meantime. He wants you to start moving slowly anyway. Are you sure you're up for that so soon?" Timothée said, Kolby seeing the compassion and worry on his handsome face.

"I'm not going to pee in a bottle, babe. Give me those crutches." he smiled, Timothée seeing his usual determination.

Timothée got up, raising the bed up as he stood, Kolby sitting up more, Timothée reaching for the crutches against the hospital wall.

He gently guided Kolby into a sitting position, his foot hanging off the bed, the young man moaning.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, I just need to calm myself. My ribs and back are on fire. Give me a moment." he said, Timothée nodding, Kolby softly smiling at him.

Kolby's right hand lay in his lap, two splints on both sides of his wrist making the wrist immobile.

"Ok, babe. I'm ready." he said, Timothée helping the young man gain his feet, or his one, slipping the crutches under his armpits, the young man steadying himself on the crutches.

"I'm okay, let's get moving."

"I'm putting my arm around you." Timothée said, Kolby smiling at the man's warmth against him.

"You want to hold it for me?" he smiled, Timothée blushing.

"Oh, babe! That's the last thing that should be on your mind." he smiled; Kolby lightly chuckling.

"I love it when you blush. Onward Mon Capitan!"

Timothée chuckled, gently guiding Kolby towards the bathroom a short distance away.

Timothée saw a little sweat on Kolby's brow, knowing the young man was feeling some pain.

He gently guided him into the washroom, closing the door behind them, guiding him to the toilet.

"Do you want to sit down, or stand?" he said, Kolby saying he'd stand.

Kolby stayed still, Timothée looking at him.

"You okay, love?" he said, Kolby smiling at him.

"I usually use my right hand to hold it. Could you give me a hand?" he smiled, Timothée chuckling.

"Sure babe. But won't that stop the flow?" Timothée smiled, his hands going under Kolby's hospital gown, one hand lifting the gown, the other wrapping around his shaft, the organ soft.

"Your love calms me for this function." Kolby smiled, beginning to urinate.

Timothée felt the warmth, his own center beginning to stir.

"God, you're definitely getting a rise out of someone." he said, Kolby laughing, finishing his urination.

Timothée smiled, shaking the warm organ twice, Kolby smiling.

"Help me back to bed, babe." he said, Timothée flushing the toilet, guiding him to the sink to wash his hands, then out of the bathroom, wrapped in his love.

The two men smiled, seeing three smiling female faces when they walked out of the bathroom.

"Well, he's on his feet, that's a good sign." Nancy smiled, walking up to them, kissing Kolby's cheek, then Timothée's.

"We brought you some food, angel." she smiled, Timothée guiding him slowly back to the bed, gently helping him back in, Kolby softly gasping, getting settled.

"There's a burger place just down the street." Dina smiled, the two men seeing some paper bags in her hands.

"Awesome! Cheeseburgers I hope?!" Kolby smiling, Dina nodding.

"I know what my bro likes." she grinned, Kolby getting a tender hug from her, she setting the bags down on the rolling table beside the bed.

Timothée helped her pull out the food, Timothée moving the table over Kolby's legs, the young man smiling at him.

"Feed me and I can do some amazing, sexy tricks." he smiled, softly gasping again.

"Calm down, horn dog. Comfy, my love? Don't eat too much, take it slow. You've been given some strong drugs." he said, Kolby smiling at his man looking out for him.

"Meet my new nurse. He's sexy as hell." he softly smiled, Dina laughing, Timothée smiling at his man, his cheeks blushing.

"I don't do bedpans."
They all laughed, Timothée smiling at Olivia as he unwrapped a cheeseburger for Kolby and pulled out a box of fries for him.

The young man slowly eating the food.

"Any word from Stephan?" Timothée asked her, grabbing a cheeseburger for himself, Olivia nodding.

"He's on his way. He wouldn't say what's going on. I'm worried he's done something foolish." she said, sitting down in a chair, a cup of coffee in her hand.

Dina joined her, after she handed Timothée a cup of coffee, the man thanking her, she kissed his cheek, the two women chatting quietly while the two men ate.

Nancy sat down on the chair at the other side of Kolby's bed, smiling at the two men, seeing Timothée watching Kolby closely.

The room door opened, Stephan walking in, a large bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"From all the restaurant staff, Kobe. They all send you their best wishes." he smiled, setting the bouquet down on the windowsill beside Kolby's bed.

"That's so sweet of them." Kolby softly smiled, Stephan leaning down and gently hugging his friend, Timothée seeing the tears glistening in his eyes.

"I'm so glad you look better, Kobe. Glad to see you eating. I was so worried." he said, Kolby's left hand rubbing his back.

"I had to lay in a hospital bed before you finally climbed on top of me. Take me, beautiful!" Kolby grinned, Stephan laughing against his chest.

"I'm tempted, but I'll let the movie stud take care of that." he said, Timothée laughing, the two hugging once Stephan stood up again.

"I assume you went back to the restaurant?" Timothée said, Stephan nodding, looking down at Kolby, seeing him slowly eating fries, the young manager stealing one, popping it into his mouth, smiling.

"Yes, I had to take care of something." he said, Olivia's eyes meeting his.

She rose, walking over to him, her arm going around him.

"What did you do, sweetie?" she said, a soft look of worry on her face.

"I confronted Evan. He finally caved in and told me everything. That bastard no longer works for us!" Stephan said, Timothée's hand going to his shoulder.

"He told you everything?" Kolby said, Stephan nodding.

"Yes, Kobe. I confronted him as soon as I got his attention after informing everyone about your status. He didn't seem surprised that you were hurt. He denied it at first, the two of us in my office. I immediately went to the files, pulling yours out, seeing that the pages had been loosely stuffed back into it, someone obviously having gone through them quickly. I showed him the file, the young man blushing, his obvious guilt showing. He finally told me the truth. That Harry had paid him money to get information on you. He'd indeed been the one who'd called him when you came into the restaurant that day. He even told me about spending a day and a half with Harry and another man in Harry's hotel room. The three banging each other. A bonus Harry gave him. He did indeed give Harry your address. That's how he showed up there. Evan said that the next plan if you didn't drop Timothée after Harry offered you a payoff, was that Evan was supposed to seduce you, to make you cheat on Timothée. I knew damn well that would never happen!"

The young manager sat down on Kolby's bed edge, his hand going into Kolby's.

"The young man's a deviant. When I told Evan he was going to be fired immediately he had the nerve to make a pass at me. He said he'd service me if I'd just keep him on. He put his hand on my...on my crotch. I punched him in the face. Anton and Robert threw his ass out when I told them what Evan had tried to do. I'll never let a man touch me like that. And I'll always try to protect you." he said, Kolby squeezing his hand.

"I'm sorry he did that, Steph. And I'm glad he's now gone. Thanks for always protecting me." he softly said, Stephan gently hugging him, the two parting.

"And I'm the only one besides Olivia who can touch those goodies." Kolby smiled, Stephan laughing, Olivia joining him.

"Those are all mine, Kobe." Olivia smiled, kissing her man's cheek, Stephan smiling at her with love, Kolby smiling at her.

"Lucky bitch!"

Everyone laughed, Timothée guiding more food onto Kolby's tray, the young man smiling.

"Evan's gone, Kobe. Watch your back, though. He was steamed when we threw him out. I've alerted all the staff, and I've talked with Henry. He also sends his best wishes for a speedy recovery."

Kolby nodded, smiling at his friend, Stephan seeing he was still in pain.

Twenty minutes later, Dr. Matthews walked back into the room, smiling at everyone.

His eyes went to Kolby's smiling face, walking up to his bed.

"I see our patient looks more energized. Fast food always does the trick. How do you feel?" he smiled, Kolby smiling at him.

"I feel more myself. Still damn sore but getting better. The headache is greatly subdued." he said, the doctor nodding.

"Let's have a look at your chest. Would everyone mind stepping back? Please close the curtains, Mr. Chalamet." he smiled, Timothée nodding, everyone going back to chairs, Timothée moving the curtain around, Kolby's bed now hidden, the young actor remaining with Kolby.

The two smiled at each other, Dr. Matthews smiling.

"You've got a great friend here, Kolby. He's paid all your medical expenses including your new titanium leg, which should be here next week. We'll call you in for its fitting when it arrives." he smiled, Kolby staring at Timothée with soft surprise, the actor blushing, the doctor gently removing the young man's hospital gown, pulling it back.

Timothée teared up, seeing the deep black bruises on Kolby's ribs and collar bone, his muscular chest in full view.

"That looks so painful, Kobe." he softly said, the man rubbing Kolby's left arm.

The doctor gently rubbed Kolby's ribs, the young man taking a gasping breath in, the doctor nodding, gently feeling his collar bone.

"It's a wonder you didn't break any ribs or your collar bone. Cement doesn't give much against soft tissue." he said, Kolby nodding.

"Well, the bruises have begun to lessen a little, and there's no sign of any fractures. Have you used the bathroom yet?"

"Went about half an hour ago. Timothée helped me, I walked there slowly on the crutches." Kolby said, the doctor smiling.

"Excellent. I'm going to discharge you in the morning then. I'll give you some antibiotics to quicken the healing, and some painkillers. You need complete rest for the next week. No strenuous exercise. You can take the splint off your wrist in a couple of days. I take it you'll see to it that he follows my medical advice, Mr. Chalamet?" the doctor smiled, Timothée helping Kolby back into his gown, the man smiling at the doctor.

"Yes, Dr. Matthews. I'm staying with him all week. He's not moving a finger." he smiled, the doctor nodding.

"Lucky Kolby. My daughters are big fans, Mr. Chalamet." he smiled, Timothée nodding.
"I'll give you some autographed pictures before we leave tomorrow. And we can take a selfie in the morning. What're your daughters' names?" he smiled as the doctor shook his hand, the man talking to him about his daughters.

"Thank you very much. I'll be in first thing in the morning to release you, Kolby." he smiled, pulling back the curtain, the doctor smiling at everyone, saying goodbye to Nancy, walking out of the room.

Nancy walked up to the bed, Timothée again sitting on its edge, his hand in Kolby's left.

"I'm about to start my shift, I'll be here in the hospital all evening. I'll check in on you as often as I can." she smiled, leaning down and kissing Kolby's cheek.

"I'm going home first thing in the morning, Momma Bear." he smiled, Nancy nodding.

"That's wonderful news." she smiled, kissing Timothée's cheek.

"You can stay till I'm done with my shift, Tim. Then you can drive back home with me. You need a good night's sleep as well." she smiled, Kolby agreeing with her, seeing the jetlag trying to capture Timothée.

"Timbo was going to surprise me with a Christmas visit! He's just a day early." Kolby smiled wider, Nancy kissing his cheek.

"Yes, he'd called me early this week, telling me of his plans. It was supposed to be a big surprise. But you just keep surprising us yourself." she smiled, Kolby smiling at her.

"You can take him home with you, Momma Bear. He indeed needs rest." he smiled, Timothée squeezing his hand.

"I hate to leave you, babe. But I'll keep your bed warm for you." he smiled, Kolby smiling at him.

"You need a good night's sleep, babe. I want my nurse well rested for tomorrow." he smiled, Timothée leaning down and kissing his lips.

"I'll see if I can buy a uniform here. Might as well do the whole image." he grinned, Kolby laughing.

Olivia, Dina and Stephan stood up, smiling at Kolby, each giving him a gentle hug.

"We'll leave so you two can have some alone time. We'll give you a lift back to Nancy's, Dina." Stephan smiled, Dina accepting the ride.

The three hugged Timothée, they and Nancy saying goodbye, walking out of the room.

It was now after two, Timothée spending the late afternoon and evening with Kolby.

The young man smiled up at his man, Timothée leaning in again, their lips meeting.

They broke their kiss, Timothée's fingers going along Kolby's cheekbone.

"I almost lost you, my love. I was so scared! I can't believe Harry did that!" he softly said, tears showing again.

"Come here, babe." Kolby said, Timothée moving, laying gently down on the bed beside Kolby, his head going against his chest, Kolby's left arm wrapping around his slim form.

"I'm going to be okay, Timbo. I'm getting out of here tomorrow. Then we have three days before Christmas to snuggle with each other. Tomorrow night I want to fall asleep in your arms. I missed your warmth so much." he softly said, Timothée raising his head, their lips meeting again.

"I love you, my Kobe. I want that warmth as well. God, I've missed you. I feel your tiredness, babe. Close your eyes." he said, his head going back against Kolby's chest, the young man smiling.

"I don't think Harry meant for it to happen, Timbo. He wasn't trying to hurt me, just trying to get me to end it with you."
"He will never break us up, my love. He hasn't any chance of doing that. I love only you."

Kolby softly smiled, Timothée's lips meeting his again.

"He'll understand that the next time I meet him." Timothée said, Kolby seeing the soft anger in his face.

"I love you, Timbo. No other could destroy our love."
He closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of his soulmate, the young man drifting off to sleep.

Kolby woke up a few hours later with Timothée gently shaking his shoulder.

"Time for your medication, my love. The nurse just left it when she saw you were sleeping. It's been three hours; you need to be awakened. Following concussion protocols. Doctor's orders." he smiled; the young actor seated in the chair beside Kolby's bed.

He gave the young man a small cup of pills and a glass of ice water, the young man swallowing all of them, drinking the refreshing water.

"Good boy." Timothée smiled, kissing his lips.

"Thanks, Daddy." he smiled, Timothée chuckling.

"I'm not old enough to be your father." he smiled, Kolby smiled, rubbing his cheek.

"True. You don't have a dad bod." Kolby smiled, Timothée laughing more.

"God, I've missed your humor!" he smiled, Kolby pulling him down again, their lips meeting.

"I've missed all of you, big Daddy." Kolby smiled, Timothée beamed, leaning back.

"I need to do the trek again. My bladder feels full." the young man smiled, Timothée nodding, getting up and bringing the crutches.

Kolby slowly rose out of the bed, soft strain showing on his face, Timothée gently helping him stand, the two walking to the door across from the bed.

Timothée closed the bathroom door behind them, Kolby walking to the toilet, smiling back at him.

"Where's my pee boy?" he smiled, Timothée smiling, his hand moving under the gown again, wrapping around the shaft, his other hand lifting the gown.

Kolby sighed, his stream flowing, Timothée kissing his cheek.

"Up close and personal. Love it." he smiled, Kolby finishing his task.
Timothée gave it two shakes, feeling the shaft begin to thicken, still holding onto it.

"Well, that's getting back to normal. It knows what it likes." Kolby beamed, Timothée grinning.

"I should let go." he smiled, Kolby pouting.

"Sorry babe, that's my look." Timothée laughed, the young man sighing, Timothée releasing his shaft, the man laughing, seeing the tent now in Kolby's gown.

"It's indeed back to normal. I'll take care of that at home." he smiled, Kolby beaming again.

"I expect my nurse to help me shower, too." he said, Timothée seeing the tent move, knowing their talk was exciting Kolby.

"Calmness, my love. Remember, no exercise for a week. Sex is exercise." he grinned, teasing Kolby.

"I hope you like robin blue eggs. Because I'm going to have two of them." he smirked, both looking at each other.

They both broke into laughter, the two kissing mid laughs.

Timothée felt Kolby's tongue slide across his lips, the man reluctantly backing up.

"Calm down, babe. You're getting too excited." he smiled, Kolby lowering his eyes.

"I just love what you do to me." he softly said, Timothée's arms going around him, gently hugging him, careful of his bruises, splinted hand and the crutches.

"I know babe. I love everything you do to me also. We'll get back to all that once you've healed a bit. I just know I'm sleeping with you tomorrow night. You need your male nurse's warmth." he smiled, breaking the hug, Kolby smiling at him.

"Sweet! Someone's getting a special Christmas bonus."

They both laughed again, Timothée gently guiding him back to his bed.

Timothée yawned, slunk back in the chair beside Kolby's bed, their hands joined.

Nancy walked into the room, Timothée about to let Kolby's hand go, then stopped.

"Don't you two look comfy?" she smiled, seeing Kolby softly nodding off, sensing Timothée had been doing the same.

She had stopped by twice earlier, seeing both men happy and close.

The evening meal had been delivered, Kolby looking at it with contempt.

It didn't resemble the chicken it was supposed to be.

"Wait till you are home, babe. Momma Bear will cook you something more edible." Timothée had smiled, helping his man finish the meal, he was disgusted by its looks as well.

Here now it was almost ten, Nancy at the end of her shift.

"I'm ready whenever you are, Tim." she smiled, leaning down and kissing Kolby's cheek, then forehead.

"You get a good night's sleep, Kobe. Tomorrow will come soon enough." she smiled, Kolby softly yawning, and smiling at her.

"Will do, Momma Bear! Love you!" he said, Timothée smiling at the two.

"Take your time, Tim. I'll give you some privacy. I'll be in the hallway whenever you're ready." she smiled, kissing his cheek, walking out of the room.

Timothée smiled, rising from his chair, sitting on the bed's edge, leaning down and kissing his man's lips.

The kiss was deep, both lost in the love they felt.

They pulled apart, Timothée smiling at his man.

"Anything you need before I leave, my love?" he smiled, Kolby smiling back, his fingers on Timothée's chin.

"Just your lips again, babe."
Timothée smiled, kissing him again, this one longer.

"I love you, Kobe."
"I love you, my Timbo."

"Have a good night. I'll be here first thing tomorrow." he said, Kolby nodding.

"You too, my love. Keep that bed warm for me. I'll be in your arms tomorrow." he smiled, yawning again.

Timothée smiled, slowly getting up, their hands slowly releasing, neither wanting to lose sight of each other.

"Close your eyes, my love. I'll stay till you're in dreamland." Timothée smiled, Kolby smiling and closing his tired eyes.

Timothée stared at the young man, scanning his handsome face, the bruising there a lot less.

A bandage was still on his forehead, covering the deep gash there, knowing he'd have a scar for a while, his hair would probably cover it.

That didn't change anything for Timothée, the young man was beautiful in all ways.

"Kobe?" he said, no response coming.

He smiled, quietly walking out of the room, looking back once more.

He and Nancy drove home, she felt his tiredness.

They walked into the flat, Dina greeting them, hugging both.

`How's Kolby?" she asked, releasing Timothée from her arms.

"He's sleeping. Seems more energetic this evening. He hated the hospital food." Timothée smiled, Nancy laughing.

"Most people do. I'm not working tomorrow, not going back till after the holidays. I'm going to cook him his favorite meal for lunch. Chicken wings and pasta alfredo." she smiled, the three walking into the kitchen.

"Coffee, anyone? I just made a new batch." Dina smiled, knowing they were coming home.

"Thanks, Dina." Timothée said, sitting down at the table, Nancy joining him, Dina filling three mugs, setting them down at the table, joining the two.

"So, Timothée. How are you feeling?" Nancy said, finally able to talk to him without Kolby present.

The young man began to sob, laying his head on the table, Nancy's arm going around him, Dina's hand going to his shoulder.

"I sensed your strength holding back the emotions, my boy. It had to let go eventually." Nancy said, rubbing his back.

"God he was in so much pain! He was hurting and I couldn't do anything!" he cried, Dina rubbing his shoulder.

"That's called love, Timothée. When you see the one you love hurting, you would give heaven and earth to take away their pain. All you can do is show them your caring love. We all saw that all day today. You flew halfway around the world because he was hurt. That's true love, Timothée." Dina smiled, Nancy smiled at her daughter, Timothée raising his head, wiping his eyes.

"We are true love. I love him totally. I just hate seeing him hurt. He's seen too much pain!" he said, Nancy nodding.

"Yes, he has, Tim. But now he's seen true love. Your love will heal all his soul." she said, Timothée nodding.

"Sorry for breaking down." he softly smiled, Dina rubbing his shoulder again.

"I've never seen Kolby's aura so bright, Timothée. Your love is just what he needs." she smiled, Timothée nodding.

"Thanks, Dina. And I'm just Tim. You've got another brother now." he smiled, the two hugging, breaking their holds on each other.
"Sweet! Me sisters with Timothée Chalamet! Wait till my crowd at school hear I know you!" she grinned, Timothée softly blushing.

"Don't worry. Your relationship is completely safe with me. I'd never hurt either of you." she smiled, Timothée thanking her.

He sipped at his coffee, smiling widely.

"Kolby's blend! How I've missed it!" he said, the other two women laughing.

They saw a look cross Nancy's face, determination showing.
"What are you going to do about Harry, Tim? I won't let that man hurt Kobe ever again." she said, both hearing her maternal love shining through.

"I called his hotel this afternoon while Kobe slept. They informed me he checked out this morning. He's probably gone home to his family over the holidays. I didn't call his cell; I don't want to scream at him over the phone. I want to see him face to face; the words will be perhaps followed by some anger. No one hurts my Kobe." he said, both feeling his soft anger.

"I think you need to stay clear of him. Your security needs to know." Nancy said, Timothée nodding.

"I called my parents and then my management this evening as well. My managers are aware of all of it. I'd talked to them last week, my new relationship with Kolby known. They're going to contact Harry's management with their own ultimatum. We'll just see where this goes."

"We're both here, Tim. We'll keep you both safe when you're both here." Dina said, Timothée smiling at her.

"Thanks, both of you."

The three chatted over coffee, Timothée stifling a few yawns.

"You're tired, Tim. Jet lag has kicked in. I think you need sleep." Nancy smiled, Timothée nodding.

"That I do. I'll take a quick shower, then it's bedtime for me." he smiled, standing up, the other two rising, both hugging him.

"I can take the sofa if you need a bed, Dina." he said, she kissed his cheek.

"I'm bunking with Mom. You and Kolby will need that bed while you're here." she said, Timothée smiling.

"Thanks, Dina. I'm so happy I've met you now and looking forward to getting to know you." he smiled, she smiling as well.

"I'm here till Wednesday. You'll be sick of me by then. As I will be with you two lovebirds necking constantly." she said, all three laughing, Timothée walking out of the kitchen.

He walked into Kolby's bedroom, smiling and seeing it hadn't changed an iota.

He saw his three suitcases lined up by the wardrobe, the young man quickly shedding his clothes, tossing them into the hamper, picking up his robe from the back of the door, putting it on, smiling and walking back down the hall to the bathroom.

He quickly showered, his thoughts on the last time he'd been in the shower wet, and the love he'd shown and received here.

He quickly returned to the bedroom, hanging his robe back up, walking to the wardrobe, forgetting his suitcases and selecting a pair of Kolby's boxer briefs, slipping them up his slim legs, covering his center.

He smiled, his thoughts on his man.

He went to the door, hitting the light switch, the room bathed in a softer light, the young man walking up to the easel, seeing the covered canvas on it.

He smiled, removing the cover, staring with surprise.

A new painting was shown, the last one was now gone.

He looked at the stack of paintings behind it, not seeing any new ones.

He stared at the new painting showing the scene, a stone bridge.

A young man stood on top of it, staring over the far side, a soft shadowy form laying on the riverbank below.

Timothée got a soft shiver up his back, taking in the details.

It was mostly finished, the young man's details shown.

He had shaggy brown hair, a slender face, wearing an open shirt, a heavy jacket covering it.

Timothée's eyes went to the young man's chest, seeing the soft shadows of tattoos showing in the open neck.

The man bore a soft resemblance to Harry.

Timothée picked up the cover, placing it again over the painting, the man climbing into the bed, laying on Kolby's side.

He leaned over, turning off the lamp on his usual side, returning to Kolby's side, his nose filling with the young man's scent from the pillows.

"I feel you here, my love. And I feel what that painting represented. The déja vu of your life's path." he said, tears showing in his eyes.

He closed his eyes, his thoughts on the young man he'd hold in his arms all day tomorrow.

He smiled, knowing he'd walk his path always.

End of Chapter 17

Kolby's recovering from Harry's assault.

And Stephan's given Evan his just desserts.

Unemployment and a bruised face.

Is that the last of Evan?
What about Harry?

What plans is Timothée organizing?
What gifts has he gotten Kolby?

Up next, Christmas holidays with lots of surprises.
