Chapter 34
Kolby broke the embrace with his Momma Bear, two other young arms surrounding him now.
He and Dina parted, kissing each other's cheek.
"Hello, Kobe! Surprise!" she giggled, Kolby beaming.
"That it is! What are you two doing here in New York?!" he smiled widely, Nancy kissing his cheek.
"Henry wanted to surprise you. He invited both of us last week. He knew you and Tim would be happy with the surprise." Nancy smiled, Timothée's arm going around her, having hugged her, kissing her cheek.
"Welcome to New York, Momma Bear!" he grinned, she laughing, Timothée hugging Dina next.
"Don't you have school this week, Dina?" Kolby said, his adopted sister kissing his cheek.
"It's a week of reading studies. I brought my books with me." she smiled, Kolby nodding.
The two men then hugged Henry, the man smiling at both of them.
"Thank you, Henry." Kolby said, Henry patting his shoulder.
"You're welcome, Kobe. Nancy was missing you deeply. I had to reunite your family's love." he smiled, Kolby hugging him again.
"Let me introduce you all to my new friends." the young man smiled, guiding Nancy and Dina to the table, Austin and Eli standing, Cal and Dee already on their feet.
"Wow! Another movie star! I'm surrounded by Hollywood." Nancy blushed, Austin laughing.
"Tim and I are just well-grounded young men, Madame." he smiled, Nancy smiling, hugging the handsome actor, Austin blushing, but hugging her back.
"We Limeys hug, son. And I'm just Nancy." she smiled, Kolby kissing her cheek.
"He is well-grounded, Momma Bear. But in no way young." Kolby smiled, Austin laughing, slapping his back.
Nancy's eyes went to Eli's brown pools, the young man softly smiling at her.
"No introductions needed, Kobe. Hello, Eliot. It's a joy to finally meet you, young man." Nancy smiled, hugging Eli tightly, the young man blushing but feeling the woman's motherly warmth, he sensing Kolby had told her all about his tumultuous life.
"Looks like Momma Bear's caught another one." Timothée smiled, Henry laughing beside him.
Nancy broke the hug, kissing the young man's cheek.
"You have such courage, Eliot. My boy's told me all about your struggles. You've just gained another, better mother." she smiled, the young man tearing up, hugging her again.
Kolby smiled, seeing the young man had easily accepted his Momma Bear's love.
Henry shook hands with both Austin and Eli, the man smiling widely as Kolby introduced him.
Timothée introduced his two bodyguards and friends Cal and Dee to Kolby's adopted family, both men smiling at them, shaking their hands, Nancy hugging both, the two men blushing, but smiling.
Dina smiled at both men, Kolby's arm going around his sister's waist.
"You and Momma Bear will love this city, Dina. We'll take you on a tour." he smiled, Timothée agreeing.
"Right now, I'm famished. Henry says this is the best Italian restaurant in New York." Nancy smiled, Henry laughing, his arm going around her.
"That it is." he smiled, Antonio and Mario walking into the room, Mario carrying a tray of drinks.
Antonio smiled widely, walking up to Henry, the two hugging tightly.
"Uncle Henry! It's such a joy to see you again!" he smiled, Henry smiling back.
"Uncle Henry?" Kolby said with surprise, Henry smiling at Kolby.
"Antonio's father Vincent and I went to school together, best friends for years, Kobe. I've stayed at their home often through all his and his brother Carlo's childhood. They started calling me Uncle Henry years ago." Henry smiled, Antonio kissing Henry's cheek.
"Uncle Henry aided my father in starting up this restaurant. He's been family for years." the young man smiled, Henry clapping his back, Mario smiling and setting the drinks down, smiling around.
"I see more drinks will be required." he smiled, Henry clapping the young man's back, giving the young Italian a tight hug.
"I see you and Tony are still deeply in love. We're all family here, boys." he smiled, Antonio smiling, the young man kissing Mario's cheek, Antonio softly smiling.
Cal and Dee smiled, their eyes meeting Antonio's.
"I love Mario deeply, we've been together for five years, married for two." Antonio smiled, Mario smiling more.
"Congrats, Antonio and Mario. It's been six for me and Dee as well. Although my old ball-and-chain doesn't believe in marriage." Cal smiled, the four smiling and trading looks.
"If everyone will be seated, I'll take more drink orders." the young waiter smiled, everyone smiling and sitting down, Antonio patting Henry's shoulder.
"It's a joy to see you again, Uncle Henry. I'll call Papa to let him know you're in town. He'll show up, I'm sure. Mama will be thrilled. I'm sure she'll want you over for dinner. Enjoy your meal, everyone." he said, smiling around, everyone thanking him, he and Mario walking out of the room, Mario closing the room's door for privacy.
Henry smiled, looking around at everyone.
"They're deeply in love. I walked Mario down the aisle at their wedding two years ago." he smiled, Nancy kissing his cheek.
"Your ever-giving heart, Henry." she smiled, the man smiling, kissing her gently on the lips.
Kolby smiled, seeing their love shining now.
Timothée's arm went around Kolby's back, the man softly blushing, Timothée kissing his cheek.
"We have privacy, my love. But I'm fine if Antonio or Mario see us. Henry's love unites all of us as a family of friends." he smiled, everyone smiling.
Cal and Dee looked at each other, their hands joining.
Austin smiled, his arm going around Eli's back.
The young man blushed, Dina and Nancy smiling at the young man.
"Love is the greatest answer to overcoming pain, Eli. I can easily see the happiness you now share with Austin. It's almost as obvious as Timothée's and Kolby's once was." Nancy smiled, both men smiling at her, Kolby and Timothée smiling at each other.
"It's just Eli, Nancy." Eli smiled, she smiling, patting his hand beside her.
"And I'm just Momma Bear. You've got a damn sexy man there! I see Kolby's been at work again." she smiled, Austin blushing, Eli smiling and kissing his cheek.
"Don't I know it. And yes, he has." Eli beamed, Austin's blush evaporating, his and Eli's hands joining.
Mario returned, everyone receiving their drinks, the young waiter setting two bottles of white wine on the table as well.
His eyes met Cal's, the young man smiling at him, Dee smiling as well.
"A gift from my Tony. Enjoy your drinks, everyone. Please take your time perusing our menu. I'll return shortly for your orders." he smiled, Timothée smiling at him, his arm still around Kolby, the young waiter smiling, taking in all the joining couples, Austin smiling at him as well.
He walked back out of the room, winking at Henry.
Everyone relaxed, Henry filling all their glasses with the wine, sitting back down, smiling around.
Kolby rose to his feet, everyone smiling at him.
"I'd like to propose a toast. To good friends, and family. A man is never alone if he has both. I've been so blessed. Here's to love and happiness!!" he smiled, everyone toasting him, the young man sitting down again, Timothée kissing his lips.
Henry smiled, rising to his feet again.
"I'd like to propose a second toast. I helped Tony's father create this place. Vincent always said he wanted it to be a place for families to join, to break bread together. Looking around me, I see my new family. Kolby, Tim, Dina and my Nancy. I feel that I am the luckiest man in the world. I have happiness, family and now love. Here's to family!" he smiled, everyone toasting to family love, Nancy smiling and rising to her feet, Henry's arm going around her.
He smiled around, his eyes meeting Kolby's.
"I've officially retired, everyone." Henry smiled, everyone clapping, Nancy kissing his cheek.
She looked at Kolby, her hand going into Henry's, the young man still seated at the head of the table; Dina, Henry and Nancy on his right side, Timothée on his left, Cal and Dee beside him.
Eli was beside Nancy, Austin at the other end of the table beside Eli.
"Kolby, my son, I'm officially retiring as well. I've given my notice at the hospital." she smiled, the young man rising from his seat, walking around to her, hugging her tightly.
"I'm happy for you, Momma Bear! You took my advice! You need to enjoy life. It's so well-deserved." he said, Nancy kissing her cheek.
Henry smiled, his arm going around her again.
"There's something more, Kobe." she said, Kolby seeing soft tears in her blue eyes.
"What is it, Momma Bear?" he said, looking concerned, Henry smiling at Kolby.
"I know you haven't known me long, son, but I've been so welcomed into your friendship. We know it's sudden, the two of us now in the twilight of our lives. Thus our deciding to go ahead with our own happiness. I've asked this dear lady to marry me, Kobe. I'd like your permission to spend the rest of my life loving her." Henry said, Kolby's eyes widening in surprise, Nancy's hand raising, Kolby seeing the diamond ring on her finger.
"We're engaged, Kobe. I know it's sudden, but both of us love being together. I've found the second half of my soul here in the later years of my life." she smiled, Kolby beginning to tear up, the young man hugging her tightly, Nancy crying into his shoulder, Henry rubbing her back.
The two broke their hug, Kolby kissing her cheek, his green eyes moving to Henry's tearing blue pools.
"You have my permission, Papa Bear. Though it was never required. I see the happiness you've given her. I'm going to love you as much as I love her." he smiled, Henry beginning to cry, hugging the young man tightly, everyone beginning to cheer, clapping filling the room.
The two broke their embrace, the newly engaged couple surrounded by everyone, congratulatory hugs and kisses given by everyone, Dina already in on the surprise.
She hugged her brother, Kolby smiling at her.
"I guess you already knew?" he smiled, she kissing his cheek.
"Yes, they sprang it on me yesterday. I'm so happy for Mom. Henry's a wonderful man." she smiled, Henry's arm going around her and Kolby.
"I've never had a daughter or a son. I'll be here for both of you always." Henry smiled, both smiling back.
Timothée smiled, seeing Kolby's happiness, the young man now knowing his Momma Bear could have her own happiness.
His arm went around Kolby, Mario walking into the room, smiling at everyone.
"Is everything all right? Are you ready to order some delicious food?" he smiled, looking concerned, Henry smiling at the young man, Mario smiling back.
"First off, we need champagne, Mario. I've announced that I'm getting married!" he grinned, Mario's eyes widening, the young man rushing out of the room, Henry smiling after him.
In a few moments, Antonio rushed in with Mario following, the young Italian maître d wrapping his arms around Henry.
"Is it true, Uncle?" he said, Henry smiling when they broke their embrace, his arm going around Nancy.
"Yes, Tony. Your old, widowed adopted uncle is marrying this pretty young thing." he smiled widely, Nancy blushing, Tony smiling widely, bowing to her, taking her hand and kissing it tenderly.
"Welcome to the family, madame." he smiled, hugging her then, genuine tears in his eyes.
"It's just Nancy, Antonio." she smiled, the young man kissing her cheek when he broke the hug.
"And I'm just Tony, Aunt Nancy." he smiled widely, Nancy blushing more, Mario now gently hugging her, the woman smiling as he kissed her cheek.
"Welcome to the family indeed, Aunt Nancy." he smiled, Antonio's arm going around his husband.
"I must see where father is!" Antonio smiled, the young man walking out of the room, Mario smiling at everyone.
"Please sit down, everyone. I'll bring the champagne." he smiled, walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Everyone returned to their seat, happily chatting, Kolby smiling at his family, Nancy radiating a glowing happiness.
"I'm happy for both of you, you especially Momma Bear. I now know you'll be happy while I'm gone. I was so worried about leaving you alone." he said, Nancy smiling at him, kissing his cheek, she now seated beside him, she and Dina trading places, Henry between her and Dina, the younger woman chatting with Eli.
"You have your life to live, Kobe. I have mine. I'll have Henry now, you don't need to worry about me." Nancy smiled, Kolby kissing her cheek.
"I'll always worry about you. You're my Momma Bear, and always will be." he teared up, everyone seeing their deep love for each other.
Mario returned to the room, carrying two bottles of champagne, Antonio following him, another older man at his side.
It didn't take much to immediately identify Antonio's father, their looks were identical.
Vincent Vincenzo was a handsome older version of Antonio's dashing good looks.
Henry smiled, rising to his feet, he and Vincent embracing tightly, Vincent kissing each of Henry's cheeks.
"Mio caro fratello, Henry. Hai finalmente trovato l'amore!" the man said, tears flowing from his and Henry's eyes.
"Yes, my brother, Vinny. I've found love again at last in my Nancy's arms!" Henry smiled, the two embracing again.
Everyone stood up, Vincent taking Nancy into his arms, hugging her tightly, the woman blushing, but smiling.
They broke the embrace, Vincent smiling at her, kissing her cheek.
"Welcome to my family, dear Nancy. I'm happy Henry has found happiness in your arms. He is like a brother to me. You shall now be my sister." he smiled, she smiling back.
"Damn, I didn't know Henry's family was so large!" she smiled, the Italian man laughing, kissing her cheek again.
"And I didn't know Henry could catch such a beauty! You're as beautiful as my Maria!" he smiled, Nancy laughing, slapping his chest.
"And I didn't know Italian men flirted so much. I'm going to enjoy this." she said, Vincent laughing, patting Henry's shoulder.
"Your meal is on me, everyone!" he smiled, Henry shaking his head.
"Always giving, Vinny. Will you please join us? Let me introduce you to everyone." Henry smiled, guiding the man around, introducing him to everyone, the older man kissing Dina's cheek first, then hugging Kolby, shaking hands with everyone else.
"Your family grows, Henry. I always wanted you surrounded by family. And such famous friends. I'm deeply impressed." he smiled, Antonio bringing in another chair, Mario setting down another place setting, Vincent talking to his son and Mario before he sat down, Mario smiling and picking up all the menus, he and Antonio walking out of the room, closing the door.
"We didn't order yet, Vincent." Kolby smiled, the older man smiling.
"I told my son to bring `una famiglia tradizionale Italiana_'_, that means a traditional Italian family meal. You'll all dine as my guests on rich pasta and meat entrees. My gift for my friend's happiness." Vincent smiled, everyone thanking him, relaxing and chatting amongst themselves.
Kolby sighed, Timothée rubbing his stomach under the table, everyone relaxing after a scrumptious meal.
Several dishes of rich pasta and meat sauces had been brought in, as well as stuffed ravioli, rich meat dishes and warm homemade bread.
The group dined on authentic Italian cuisine, all relishing in its deliciousness.
Coffee and tea came after, rich Italian desserts flooding the table, everyone enjoying everything immensely.
"I think we should run home, Cal. We have to wear all this off." Dee smiled, Cal kissing his cheek.
"I'll run that off you on my treadmill of love." he smiled, the two gently kissing, everyone smiling at them, Antonio's gaze on both men, Mario at his side.
The two had joined the group for dessert, their shifts over, welcomed now as friends, the two young men seated beside Cal and Dee.
The four had chatted over dessert, everyone seeing their budding friendships, Antonio's brother Carlo the joining connection.
Kolby smiled, seeing the four had found new friendships in each other.
"You'll need no snack tonight, Kobe." Timothée smiled, kissing his man's lips, Vincent smiling at the two.
He'd easily seen their love shining, commenting on all the couples around him earlier.
Everyone had accepted his and his son's and son-in-law's friendship, relaxing and being themselves in the private room.
Austin and Eli had lightly kissed each other, everyone seeing their budding romance, as well.
"Thank you for all this, Vincent." Kolby smiled, Vincent waving him off.
"I see around me Henry's family and friends. You are welcomed here tonight as family. Families share and dine together. You bring joy to myself and my family." he smiled, he and Henry chatting through the meal, everyone learning of their youthful school days in England, Vincent moving to the US after graduating, Henry visiting often, their brotherhood remaining strong.
"I ran into Cubby Holsten last week, Vinny." Henry said, Vincent smiling widely.
"Haven't seen him in years. How's our old mate? Still guarding England's judicial system?" he smiled, sipping at his coffee.
"Yes, but now he's knighted. Sir Cedrick Holsten, head barrister at the King's Court. But he'll always be crazy Cubby to us." Henry smiled, glancing around the room.
"He was greatly intelligent. I'm happy he achieved the success he always sought. I heard about his wife's death through the school's alumni society last year. They were always destined to love each other for over forty years." he said, Henry nodding.
"Yes, grade school sweethearts and such." Henry smiled, Vincent nodding.
"As you and Marisa were, Henry. But now you've gained so much more youthful love." he smiled at Nancy, she smiling back.
Henry's hand went in hers, she smiling at him as he kissed her lips.
"Actually, he was seeking something from me. Information actually." Henry said, sipping his coffee cup.
"Information about what? I know he was deep within the school's alumni society." Vincent said, the man smiling at his friend.
"Not important, right now. Paths walk as they must. Life gives us adventures." he smiled, glancing around the table again.
"You and your mysteries, Henry. You haven't changed in years." Vincent smiled, Henry chuckling.
"And you lucked out with your Maria. How she ever lowered her standards to accept your devilish love, I'll never know."
Vincent laughed heartily, kissing Henry's cheek.
"I love you, my brother. You and your fiancée must come to our home for dinner tomorrow evening. Maria insists on it and wants meet your new fiancée. She would have been here tonight but it's her canasta night." he said, Nancy accepting happily.
Everyone chatted more, the evening winding down, the hour approaching nine.
"Well, we should be going, everyone." Austin smiled, Eli's hand in his, everyone nodding, rising from the table, Antonio and Mario still chatting with Cal and Dee, Kolby seeing them exchanging numbers on their phones, the young man smiling.
"I must pay for this, Vincent. This should be my treat. It's my night of happiness." Henry said, pulling out his wallet, his friend putting his hand on Henry's wallet.
"To pay for this would insult my heart, Henry. You know that truthfully, my old friend. I honor your happiness tonight." he said, Henry hugging his old friend tightly.
"Thank you, Vincent. I love you always, my brother, my best friend." he said, both men wiping their eyes, smiling at each other.
"It's been the happiness of my heart, everyone. Live in happiness always. I'll see you and Nancy tomorrow evening, Henry. And you as well Dina." The man smiled, kissing each of the ladies' cheeks, both smiling.
Everyone thanked the man, handshakes and hugs exchanged, Antonio and Mario hugging Cal and Dee goodbye, everyone guided out of the restaurant by the two bodyguards.
Antonio and Mario smiled after everyone, Antonio's father at his side, the older man waving.
The group returned to Timothée's home, Timothée guiding his three friends around the place, showing them its beauty.
Cal and Dee had said their goodbyes in the garage, their friends hugging them, Cal slapping Eli's ass, the young man smiling.
"Keep Austin happy, Eli. His love will widen yours." the young bodyguard smiled, Eli smiling more, kissing the handsome bodyguard's cheek.
"Thanks, Cal. And you yourself taste needful. Dee's going to be extremely happy tonight." he said, Cal laughing, the two bodyguards climbing into their vehicle, waving goodbye.
Kolby, Austin and Eli sat down on the sofas, Austin's arm immediately going around Eli, the young man beaming.
Kolby smiled, his man and his family walking into the living room, Nancy sitting down beside Kolby, Timothée joining them, Henry following.
Dina smiled, sitting down beside Eli and Austin on the other sofa, everyone relaxing.
"The place is beautiful, Tim." Nancy said, Timothée thanking her, kissing his man's cheek.
`You're all welcome to stay here." he smiled, Nancy leaning over Kolby, kissing Timothée's cheek.
"We wouldn't want to impose. You haven't the room. What with these two fine young men staying here this week. We're fine in our fancy hotel room. What would you like to do, Dina?" she smiled, Henry's arm going around her, Dina smiling at her mother.
"I'm fine either way." she smiled, Kolby smiling at his adopted sister.
"Austin and I can double up, Dina. If you'd like to take my room." Eli said, Austin smiling at Eli.
"I'm game for that." Austin smiled, Eli softly blushing, everyone smiling at his offered kindness.
"Yes, please, Dina. We need to spend more time together." Kolby smiled, Dina agreeing, Nancy smiling at her daughter.
"Excellent. That way you and I have privacy, my loving beauty." Henry smiled, everyone grinning, Nancy blushing, looking around.
"What? Us old fuss pots can still spin the romance. You young ones, have your fun. We'll have our own." she smiled, Henry beaming.
"On that note, good evening, everyone." he smiled, about to get up, Nancy pulling him down.
Everyone laughed, the man kissing her lips, the two wrapping their arms around each other.
They all sat around, laughing and chatting, Austin and Eli offering to make some snacks for Kolby, the man thanking them.
The two men walked into the kitchen, Eli heading for the fridge, Austin starting the coffeemaker that Kolby had already filled.
Eli pulled out some goodies, two arms wrapping around him, lips kissing his neck.
"That was a nice way of fixing things, so I'd have to sleep with you again tonight. You're very cunning." Austin smiled, Eli smiling, turning in the man's arms, their lips gently meeting.
"I like sleeping with you. Now we can do it because I volunteered. You certainly didn't offer." Eli smiled, Austin seeing a soft look of mirthful love shining in his brown eyes.
"Well, I thought it would be more fun if I snuck into your room under cover of darkness. Surprising you with my glowing warmth and need." he smiled, Eli smiling more.
"I would have loved that. But this way we don't have to hide our warmth or needs. Our friends have given their thumbs up." he smiled; Austin softly blushing.
"I'll be fine if you want to remain in shorts and tees like last night." Austin smiled, Eli smiling at him.
"Would you be offended if I asked you to lose them?" he smiled, Austin smiling more.
"Can't get enough of my beauty, eh?"
Eli smiled, his fingers running over Austin's cheek.
"I want to feel the warmth of your naked chest against mine." Eli said, his eyes lowering.
Austin raised his chin, their eyes meeting.
"I'd love that too, my Yogo."
"I...I want you to see all of my scarred self, Pogo. You need to see my previous pain." Eli said, Austin softly smiling.
"You already showed me part of your back, Yogo. The beauty of you is yourself. I'll never turn away from you. You are beautiful to me always."
Eli smiled warmly, Austin kissing his lips again, a more heated kiss this time.
The two broke the kiss, opening their eyes together, staring at each other.
"I can't measure to your beauty, Pogo."
"I'm not asking you to, Yogo. And I'm just average against your youthful beauty. I always believed in the saying `beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. You're beautiful to me." he smiled, Eli smiling softly.
"Keep that romance up and I may show you everything." Eli smiled, Austin blushing.
"Ditto, kiddo." Austin smiled, Eli beaming.
"We'll go at our own pace, Pogo. I'm game for anything you want." Eli said, Austin smiling.
"All I want is for you to be happy with me."
Eli smiled, their lips meeting again, parting and smiling at each other, Eli rubbing his chin again.
"Who says I'm not, sexy?"
The two smiled, filling a few plates with cookies, snacks and cheese, Austin filling a coffee carafe, the two working together.
They walked back into the living room, Timothée moving things on the coffee table, the two men setting the trays down, everyone told to help themselves.
Everyone took some treats and some of Kolby's coffee.
"My roommates at the dorm love your coffee, Kobe. Thanks for the recipe. Everyone's been flocking to my room after classes, gallons consumed." Dina smiled, Kolby smiling back.
"College kids and their need for caffeine." he laughed, Dina laughing as well.
Henry's eyes met Kolby's, the man smiling at him.
"If it's no trouble, Kobe, could you and I have a meeting later in the week? I have something to discuss with you." Henry said, the young man smiling at him.
"Certainly, Henry. Is it pertaining to the wedding? You haven't told us a date yet." Kolby smiled, Henry smiling at him.
"We've decided on early June. Just something else I need to discuss with you. How about Wednesday?" Henry smiled, Kolby looking at Timothée.
"We're free all week, babe. No real plans." he smiled, Henry smiling at Timothée.
"I'd like everyone to be there as well, Tim. For moral support." he said, Timothée nodding.
"Vincent was right, you are mysterious." Timothée smiled, Henry chuckling.
"Just something that needs to be taken care of." he smiled, the two men nodding.
Nancy smiled at Kolby, kissing his cheek, then looking at Timothée.
"Kolby, my boy, would you do the honor of walking me down the aisle when Henry and I marry? My father's long
passed, you're the closest one to me that I'd want to do that." she smiled, Kolby tearing up, hugging her tightly,
Timothée smiling at their love showing.
"I'd be honored, Momma Bear." he beamed, Henry smiling widely.
"I've asked Vincent tonight to be my best man. I'd be honored if you would stand with us, Tim. You and Stephan."
Henry smiled, the actor smiling.
"I'm honored as well. I'll certainly do it." he smiled, rising, he and Henry hugging.
Everyone smiled, the newly engaged couple sitting down.
"We've decided on a June wedding. We'll let you know the details. Just small and intimate. We don't need a lavish
to-do. I'm just having Dina as my maid of honor, and two friends from the hospital as bridesmaids." Nancy smiled.
"I've already booked the same venue where Stephan and Olivia are getting married. Nancy fell in love with the
place when we toured it with those two last week. As did Stephan and Olivia. That young woman was totally awed
by its beauty." Henry smiled, Kolby nodding, Stephan having told him over the phone about the beauty of the
venue, a perfect place for him to make all Olivia's dreams come true.
"Stephan told me that Olivia fell in love with the place as well. Sounds wonderful." Kolby smiled, everyone listening
to the wedding plans, the evening moving on.
At eleven-thirty Henry and Nancy said their goodnights, Henry calling them a limousine, both promising to come
back in the morning for one of Kolby's special breakfasts.
Nancy said she'd bring Dina her suitcase in the morning.
The two left, everyone hugging them goodnight.
Eli showed Dina his room, the young man grabbing some things for himself, Dina saying thanks again to him,
kissing his cheek.
Austin and Timothée cleaned up the dishes, Kolby, Dina and Eli chatting at the kitchen table, finishing up the coffee.
"You've got your man trained well." Dina smiled, Kolby winking.
"And he thinks he's lord of the manor." he smiled, Eli and Dina laughing, Austin and Timothée smiling at them,
drying the dishes.
"He cooks in all rooms. I reap the rewards." Timothée winked, Kolby smiling.
They finished the dishes, everyone sitting at the table, light talk making the evening end.
At midnight, everyone said their goodnights, hugs exchanged, Kolby and Timothée saying goodnight to Dina, the two men walking into their bedroom, closing the door behind them.
Dina walked into Eli's bedroom, Austin and Eli walking into Austin's room, Austin smiling and closing the door behind Eli.
The two men smiled at each other, Eli picking up his toiletry bag.
"I need to brush my teeth and get ready for bed." he smiled, Austin nodding.
"You go first, Eli. Dina's already finished in there, I believe." he said, Eli smiling, taking Austin's hand in his.
"If we're sharing a room, we can share a bathroom as well." Eli smiled, Austin nodding, picking up his toiletry bag, the two walking out of the bedroom, heading for the bathroom.
They shared the sink, both brushing their teeth, smiling at each other, lightly horsing around.
"I need to pee, Pogo." Eli softly blushed, Austin smiling, turning his back away from the toilet.
"So, pee. Let it flow." he smiled, Eli smiling, turning and pulling his shorts down, quietly peeing.
Austin smiled, hearing the sound, remaining with his back to the young man.
"I'm finished." Eli smiled, flushing, Austin turning and smiling at him.
"My turn, Yogo." he said, walking over to the toilet, Eli turning his back as he washed his hands, Austin smiling, doing his business, flushing after.
"All good, Yogo." he smiled, the young man smiling at him, Austin washing his hands as Eli stood beside him.
"Could you undo my ponytail, Pogo? I need to brush my hair." Eli said, Austin smiling, moving behind the young man, removing the elastic holding the ponytail, Eli's long black hair cascading over his shoulders, the young man picking up his brush, Austin taking it from him.
"Allow me, Yogo. I love feeling your beautiful hair." Austin smiled, Eli beaming, remaining still.
Austin ran the brush through the long black hair, feeling its softness and beauty.
"I told you to wear it down. It makes you look so much more beautiful." he said, kissing Eli's neck, the young man sighing.
"It is nice like that, but it falls into everything while I'm eating." he smiled, Austin chuckling.
"I can understand that. Okay, how about this? When it's just the two of us alone, leave it down. I want to run my fingers through it often." he smiled, Eli smiling, turning and smiling at Austin.
"For you, definitely." Eli smiled, Austin beaming, handing him the brush.
"I want to play with it in bed." Austin smiled, the two returning everything to their toiletry bags, the two walking out of the bathroom, Austin hitting the light switch.
They walked back into Austin's bedroom, Austin closing the door, Eli turning on the lamp on the nightstand, Austin smiling and turning off the ceiling light, the room bathed in a softer light.
The two men smiled at each other, Austin walking over to the bed, pulling back the duvet and pillow shams, placing the shams on a chair nearby.
Eli smiled, Austin staring at him.
"Left or right side?" he smiled, Eli smiling back.
"Right is fine." Eli said, Austin nodding, smiling at him.
"It's like you know me. I love the left." he smiled, the man's hand going to his polo shirt, pulling it off his torso, Eli staring at him.
He took in the man's smooth chiseled chest, his nipples hardening in the coolness of the room.
Austin smiled, seeing the young man's eyes were scanning all of his revealed smooth beauty.
"Like what you see?" Austin smiled, Eli softly blushing, still staring at his toned chest.
"You're beautiful, Pogo." he softly said, Austin grinning, opening his jeans, those coming off his legs, the man putting them on the chair with his polo shirt and the shams.
Eli took in the man's smooth toned form, Austin wearing Calvin Klein boxer briefs in black, an ample bulge showing.
"Told you I wore the same as you." Austin smiled, Eli smiling more.
"Twins in fashion sense. You look amazing." Eli said, Austin beaming.
"So, lose those clothes, beautiful." he smiled, sitting down on the bed's edge removing his socks, Eli softly sighing, walking around the bed, Austin smiling at him.
"What I see before me is youthful beauty. Don't be scared, Yogo." he said, Eli softly smiling, his hand going to his buttoned shirt, Austin quietly watching the young man open the shirt.
Eli's eyes never left his, the young man pulling off his shirt, tossing it on the chair where Austin's clothes were, his hands going to his waist, his jeans joining his shirt quickly, Austin staring at the vision of chiseled youthful beauty revealing before him.
Eli's chest was smooth and blemish-free, his abs tight with ridges, his nipples small and hard.
He took in the large bulge in Eli's boxer briefs, black like his own, no real hardness showing.
His long muscular legs were covered in fine black hairs, matching his long flowing hair.
He scanned the young man's beauty, their eyes meeting.
"My God! You're so beautiful, Yogo." Austin softly said, the young man softly blushing.
"I need you to see the rest of me, Pogo. I hope it's not too shocking." Eli softly said, Austin's hand going out, taking the young man's hand.
"I will always see only beauty in you, Yogo."
Eli softly sighed, the young man turning, Austin's heart filling with emotion.
All over Eli's back were old scars, the gashes etched into his skin.
Austin saw two fairly new ones on his lower back and legs, those still puffy and red.
Austin stood up, walking up to the young man, turning him in his arms, their eyes meeting.
"I hate that woman with all my heart. How could you be so hurt? Are you in pain?" Austin said, Eli seeing the love and compassion in the man's eyes, feeling Austin's hands on his naked back, his fingers softly rubbing the old scars.
"No, Austin. I sense the pain's finally over. You're not disgusted by my scars?" Eli softly said, Austin's lips meeting his, the young man feeling his calming love.
They broke the kiss, Austin smiling at him.
"No, Eliot. I see a beautiful young man who's survived a lot of pain. Every mark is a testament to your resolve to survive, so you could find your way to my love." he said, Eli tearing up.
"You...you love me?" Eli softly said, Austin smiling.
"I'm beginning to, my beautiful Yogo." Austin smiled, Eli smiling more.
"I...I don't know if I can understand why, but I need love so much!" Eli softly said, Austin's finger rubbing his chin.
"Let's get into bed, Eli. I need your beauty in my arms." Austin smiled, Eli smiling back, the young man moving, Austin and he climbing into the bed, Austin covering them both, Eli reaching over to turn off the light, Austin staring at the soft black hair in his armpit, the room shrouded in darkness for a moment, then soft moonlight beaming in through the window.
Eli moved, his head going against Austin's smooth chest, Austin smiling, wrapping his arms around the young man gently, feeling his smooth warmth against his chest, and the rough scars on his arm.
"Thank you, Pogo. For not hating my scarred self." Eli softly said, Austin kissing his forehead, the man smiling.
"Time for some soft hair running through my fingers." Austin said, his fingers moving though Eli's soft black hair.
Eli smiled, raising his head.
"A man of his word." he smiled, moving forward, their lips meeting.
Austin became lost in the kiss, feeling Eli's hand moving slowly across his chest, feeling the man's beauty.
Eli broke the kiss, smiling at him in the moonlight, the young man's head going back to Austin's chest, Austin hugging him closer.
"Goodnight, my Austin." he softly said, Austin kissing his head again.
"Goodnight, my Eli."
The young man smiled, closing his eyes, holding onto the man who'd perhaps just claimed his soul.

Our two lovebirds have now joined perhaps in a greater romance.
Austin has stated his new love for Eli, the young man surprised by that admission.
And Austin hasn't turned away from Eli's scarred body.
Kolby's family has arrived in New York, Henry and Nancy now engaged.
Henry's showing a bit of mystery himself.
What does he want to talk about with Kolby?
