TFAP Diary - 04 Dale's & Jason's Notes August 18th to 19th
Excerpts from day notes of Captain Dale Savage, Security Manager and Lieutenant Jason Lawrence.
Excerpts from day notes of Dale Savage, Security Manager.
At 4:a.m. on Thursday, August 18 all was finally quiet aboard the `Southern Belle' paddle wheeler. The staging lights had been extinguished as the last of the visiting guests had departed over an hour before. The lapping of water against the boat's hull was the only sound as a hand covered by a skin tight black glove reached out of the water and grasped a mooring line. Stealthily a body slipped from the water onto the deck where swim fins and diving mask were removed and left in a pile.
The intruder's face was still covered in black as were his feet. The only visible part of this person were the whites of his eyes and the piercing green iris. Carefully and quietly the sleek figure moved along the deck to the hatch entry for the lower decks where the cabins and their sleeping occupants were located. Slipping down the stairway, the shadowy form moved from one end of the corridor to the other.
"What I don't understand," a young voice spoke out. The shadow turned quickly, automatically drawing the knife from his belt and looked behind him. A young boy in pajamas and bare feet stood at the end of the hall. "is why you want to see my Dad this late at night." The boy reached up and brushed his red hair off his forehead. The man in black let out a sigh of exasperation.
Jason and I lay cuddled together in our cabin after a very satisfying session of making love with each other. We had entered that peaceful time when our senses had returned to us and were dawdling in the period between being awake and asleep. Jason lay on his back and my body was still half sprawled across him. When I heard his voice, I turned my head to the left and saw him standing beside our bed.
"Dale." he said.
"Denny......." I responded in a stern voice, prepared to admonish him for entering our room without knocking. Jason was startled by my voice and looked in the same direction as I was staring.
"Who are you talking to ?" he questioned, looking at me with a confused expression. I stopped speaking and looked steadily at the vision of Denny which I was seeing.
"Dale, I need you, now." Denny said to me. "In the hallway. There may be danger." And then he was gone. I didn't waste time trying to understand what had just happened.
"Get your weapon." I instructed Jason as I rose from our bed and grabbed my gun. Knowing my partner would be close behind me, I moved to the cabin door and listened. I was certain I heard Denny's voice. I slowly opened the door and saw a figure in black standing about three feet from our door, his back to us, looking down the hall to where Denny stood.
"This isn't going to work the way I had hoped." the figure in black muttered more to himself than actually speaking to Denny. "Let me pass by you, Son. I don't mean any harm and I really wouldn't hurt you." The double clicking sound of two hammers being cocked startled the mysterious stranger and he stiffened as he felt the muzzles of both guns press firmly against him, one in the left side of his neck and the other at his right temple.
"The only reason you're still breathing is because you haven't tried to hurt him." I said quietly. "Drop the knife and move very gently onto your knees." The man complied with the instructions without any hesitation.
"I wouldn't have hurt him." the man said. "Grabbing the knife was just a reaction."
"That kind of reaction can get you dead." Jason commented.
"Now lay face down on the floor and put your arms straight out." I instructed. The man complied immediately. I placed my knee in the middle of the man's back and held him still while Jason searched him very carefully.
"He's clean." Jason certified.
"Dale, you'll need to do what you feel is required to check Eric out and then would you please bring him to the conference room," Denny asked, "and I'll go and get Dad and Uncle Dean." Dale nodded his agreement to Denny. "And maybe you and Jason better put some clothes on before we meet there." Denny giggled at both of us because we wore only our guns at present..
"We could have stopped to dress," I commented, glancing at the young red head, "but you seemed to need us right away, if I remember correctly." Denny just giggled again as he started up the metal stairway to the upper cabin corridor.
"All right, ERIC." I stated. "Let's get you thoroughly checked out before the boss sees you." Jason and I each grasped an arm and lifted the man to his feet, then guided him down the corridor to our cabin. Once there, our prisoner was unceremoniously stripped of his diving suit. As soon as his face was uncovered I was startled by the unmistakable resemblance. It was obvious there was an obvious relationship. Even though I suspected strongly who he was, a careful inspection and search were conducted to assure he carried no hidden weapons or means of inflicting any harm to anyone. Jason had him open his mouth and carefully inspected his teeth and the hollows between his gums and cheeks.
"I swear to you, I have no other weapons." Eric told us. "I didn't come here to do any injury, honestly."
I stood back and looked at the man standing in front of me. His resemblance was undeniable. I felt if I met this man in a crowd, I would have known him immediately. Eric was a handsome looking man of about our age. He was not a big man, standing only about 5'9", but he was solidly built with firm, well packed muscles. His hair was blonde, almost white in colour and he wore it at a normal length, swept to the right with a left side part. He had a deep tan which appeared to be natural complexion rather than sun exposure. His face had two prominent features, piercing green eyes and a very sharp, squared jaw line. A soft layer of hair swept across his sturdy chest and ran down his abdomen into a lush, blonde pubic mound. His legs were also covered with a layer of hair, not as light as on his head, but still very blonde. His circumcised cock hung soft about 4" long on an almost hairless sac which contained two average balls. His rear side was solid and smooth to his legs. The strength of his shoulders and back could be seen with each movement he made and his butt was tight and solid.
"We have a good idea who you are, Eric," I responded, "but my job is not to believe anyone about anything. We're almost done and then we'll go and let you explain things to the bosses." While saying this, I walked over to a dresser drawer where I removed a latex glove and a tube of lubricant. Eric's eyes widened as he watched me pull on the glove and lubricate its fingers. "The more you relax, the easier this will be."
"How did you know my name was Eric ?" he asked, obviously trying to steer attention to another area than where we were headed.
"Denny called you Eric." Jason responded. "He usually just knows these things."
Jason guided Eric to the bed and he knelt on a towel which had been laid out and put his head and shoulders down without any instruction. It appeared he had been in this position previously. I was very careful and gentle as I checked for any foreign objects. Eric did not seem to suffer any ill effects. As the examination was finishing I heard Eric gasp several times and a long moan came from him.
"Help him clean up, will you please, Jason ?" I requested as I pulled out and removed the rubber glove. "His prostate kind of got in the way a few times." Jason got another towel and helped Eric wipe the splatter from his chest and abdomen. He was embarrassed at first, but as he saw us just take it in stride, he lost his self- consciousness. Jason and I had pulled on pajama bottoms when we came into our room. Jason looked around and found a clean bathing suit for Eric to wear.
"Do you believe me now ?" he asked me.
"It's not a matter of believing you or not, Eric." I replied. "I have to do everything I consider necessary to insure the safety of my employers and their family. If that meant turning you inside out, then that's what I would do. Along the way, if I am not forced to hurt you, then there is no reason for me to do so."
"I knew you guys would be the best." he commented. "If I could have succeeded tonight, I might have had a chance to be one of the best too." I wondered what he meant.
Jason led the way up the stairway and through the lounge to the conference room. Just as we reached it, Denny came out and closed the door behind him. He came over to where we stood and motioned Eric to bend down to him. Denny placed his arms around Eric's neck and gave him a big hug. Eric reactively reached around Denny and hugged him back, picking the boy up.
"What's this all about ?" the surprised man asked.
"I've been waiting for you Uncle Eric." Denny told him. "I'm glad you finally got here." Eric appeared stunned.
"Wait a minute." he said. "If I'm your Uncle then..." An amazed look came over his face. "...then you have to be Ted's son."
"Yup." Denny affirmed. "I'm Denny and I'm the youngest."
"The youngest. How many of you are there ?" he asked still seeming to be set back by the idea.
"Just me and Davey and Kevin." Denny responded. "Jamie's my brother too, but Uncle Dean is his Dad."
"I don't get it." Eric muttered. "I was always told Ted was..." The door of the conference room opened and Ted stood in the doorway looking at his younger brother and Denny.
"You guys coming in here, or should we come out there ?" he asked. Then looking directly at Eric he reached out and shook his hand, saying, "Hello, Eric. Imagine running into you here. Why don't you come in and tell us about it."
Eric set Denny down and we all moved into the conference room. Ted introduced Eric to Dean and we all sat down. Denny went around and slid onto Eric's lap, leaning back against him so Eric had to lean back in the chair. He reached for each of Eric's arms and wrapped them around himself. I thought to myself that Eric might just as well have been strapped down, he wasn't going anywhere. The significance of Denny's action was not lost on neither Ted nor Dean. They recognized Denny's declaration of trust and affection for this new arrival.
"What are you doing here and why the dramatic entrance ?" Ted spoke out first, getting right to the subject. Eric took a minute and looked around at each of us. "These people are my family." Ted clarified to him. "Anything you say to me might just as well be said in front of them. I keep no secrets from anyone here."
"Ted, I came to find you, because I found out the truth, or at least part of it and I wanted to know the brother I've been without for so long." Eric stated. "I know what was done to you and I thought it would happen to me when everything comes out. I also discovered you were my mysterious benefactor, the one who paid for all my schooling since I left home. I need to know you, to understand what has happened and to make sure there is peace between us. Now I find out I have three nephews I never knew about. Ted, there is serious trouble in the family and we need you."
"And what about this mysterious entrance you've made into our lives ?" Dean asked.
"I've been in the Naval Services since I graduated from school. I left the service three months ago." Eric related. "When I finally discovered where Ted was and who he was, I thought if I could prove myself, I might get a job with your security people. I thought if I could get past your security and reach Ted, I would be proving I was good enough to be one of them. It was a dumb idea and I realize now I might have gotten hurt, or worse yet, gotten someone else hurt." As he spoke he loosened one of his arms which Denny had continued to hold and stroked the boy's hair gently.
"If you had come to Ted or myself," Dean said, "we would have seen you had a job."
"I didn't want a job because I'm Ted's brother." he replied. "I wanted to prove I could do the job, but I guess I proved I couldn't."
"Don't despair, Eric." I commented. "You were up against far more than you could have possibly imagined. You have made me uncomfortable about the security here and changes will be made because of your activities tonight."
"The fact is, you are here with us now and I am pleased to see you, in spite of your means of entry." Ted told his brother. "Now why don't you fill us in on what the problems with your family are which you feel were so important to let me know about."
"It's our family, Ted." Eric responded.
"My family is sitting here in this room, or sleeping somewhere on this boat." Ted informed him. "The people you are talking about were lost to me long ago."
"And me, Ted ?" he asked. Ted sat and looked at him for a long moment.
"I think we should keep him, Dad." Denny interjected. Ted chuckled.
"I think we should too, Son." his Dad agreed. Eric got a big smile on his face as he leaned slightly forward and planted a kiss on the crown of Denny's head.
Excerpt from day notes of Jason Lawrence, Security Lieutenant.
Thursday, August 18 Kevin and Tim were the last to hit the breakfast buffet this morning. They arrived in the lounge at about 10 o'clock. Dean asked them to sit with the group.
"We have had to make a change in our plans." Dean commented. "Ted and I will be leaving the cruise this afternoon."
"Is everything all right, Uncle Dean ?" Kevin asked. "Is there anything any of us can do to help ?"
"As a matter of fact, Son," Ted replied, "we are expecting you will help by taking responsibility for your brothers and the other boys while we are gone. Mr. Chen will be in charge and Dale will remain active in overseeing operations and security, but we think you should handle any specific problems using guidance from them and Tim." Kevin seemed surprised at the assignment and sat quiet for a moment.
"Can I ask why you would give me such a responsibility ?" Kevin inquired.
"You are the logical choice, my boy." Dean replied. "You are the eldest of the family, you are a Guardian, we all have very high regard for you and confidence in your abilities. Can you tell me why we would consider anyone else ?"
"I don't know. I just never see myself as the type of person who is in charge." Kevin answered.
"That may be the best qualification for looking after others." Ted told him.
Later on at lunch time, when Ted came into the dining room, he was accompanied by Eric. Everyone was very surprised and excited about meeting Ted's brother. Eric seemed especially pleased about meeting his other two, new nephews, Kevin and Davey. After lunch he went off with them and Denny and they all sat and talked for at least an hour.
At 2:p.m. a limousine sat on the dock waiting for its passengers. Dean and Ted arrived on deck and after hugging their boys, waved goodbye to all of us and climbed into the vehicle. They were whisked away quickly to the local airport where a corporate jet awaited them.
Just after they left, Kevin was faced with his first problem to resolve. The order had been given for on duty staff to prepare to get underway. Devon and Luis sought out Kevin. Luis wanted to show Devon the city and especially the residence which he had recently purchased. Devon wanted to leave the boat and remain with Luis for a couple days, then fly home and meet up with us when we arrived back at the `castle'.
"To be honest, Devon, I don't think it's a very good idea." Kevin advised them. "I think Luis is a wonderful guy, in fact you would be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of his anywhere, but spontaneous plans like this usually have undesired results, if for no other reason than they have not been thought through well enough."
"We've thought about this and it's what I want to do." Devon demanded. "I'm 19 and old enough to make my own decisions. Hell, I'm older than you are."
"That may all be true, but it doesn't make this idea any more acceptable." Kevin responded. "Have you thought this through with the head on your shoulders, or the head on your dick ? You've come a long way in expanding yourself over the past few weeks. You know where these impulsive ideas end up when you act on them. Do you plan on heading down that road again ?" Devon sat without speaking for a few minutes. It was obvious he was unsettled by what Kevin had said and was fighting an internal battle of will versus want.
"I've always found it impossible to say `no' to myself." Devon admitted. "Is that what's happening now ?"
"You asking that question shows a lot of progress in handling the problem." Kevin advised. "Can we find a way of approaching this which won't make the result seem like a loss for you ? Would Luis be available and willing to come with us on the rest of the trip and then fly back when we get home ?"
"I'll talk with him about it." Devon asserted. "Thank you for not just saying `no' to me Kevin. When my Dad did that it use to frustrate me because there was never any reason or explanation given. I never knew if I had been wrong about something or if he was just being arbitrary or vindictive."
"It is your decision in the end, Devon, but I appreciate you allowing me to provide some input in how you go about making it." Kevin replied.
"I will follow your guidance, Kevin. If Luis can't go with us, I will stay with the boat anyway. You are right about impulsive choices and the mess I get into when I follow them." Devon affirmed. "Thank you for caring enough to set me straight."
"I owe you a debt for saving Matthew which I will never fully satisfy." Kevin explained. "I might not always be able to agree with you, Devon, but I will never point you in the wrong direction, if you are willing to listen. Now I will give you another piece of advice which you can do with as you choose. If you intend to begin a sexual relationship with Luis, talk to Dale about it before you do anything."
"Are you kidding ?" Devon asked emphatically. "Dale hates me. I do everything I can to avoid him. He would sooner wipe the floor with my bod than look at me."
"You're wrong." Kevin counseled. "There was a time when Dale was extremely angry with you, but you have proven yourself since then and he will have seen it. He could be a valued friend for you, but I can only advise you, you must make the choice yourself."
"It is still hard for me to trust, but I trust you and your brothers." Devon said. "I will try."
It turned out that Luis did not have another soccer match for the next five days, so he decided to stay on the boat with us. There was no time for him to go home to get any clothes, but we were sure we could find lots of things for him to wear and he could always pick up some clothing at our next port-of-call.
During supper that night I noticed Devon glancing at Dale on several occasions. Dale appeared to remain unaware of the attention directed toward him, but I would have been willing to bet that was not the case. Later in the evening, we were in our cabin when there was a knock on the door.
"Come on in, Devon." Dale called out without even looking at the door. The cabin door opened slowly and Devon hesitantly stepped into the cabin.
"I'll meet you in the lounge." I told Dale as I stood up and turned toward the door.
"Don't leave because of me." Devon said quickly. "Please." I looked at Dale and he motioned for me to stay, so I sat on the bed again. Devon closed the door behind himself.
"Dale, I wonder if I could talk to you, both of you for a few minutes." Devon asked very hesitantly. "I feel really uncomfortable about asking you, but Kevin said I should."
"Why would you feel uncomfortable ?" Dale asked. He sat in the chair and motioned Devon to sit next to me on the bed.
"You don't like me for a very valid reason and I'm afraid of you." Devon ventured.
"I didn't like you before." Dale asserted. "Now I haven't decided how I feel about you. As to being afraid of me, it's likely just good judgment on your part."
"Stop terrorizing the kid, Dale." I said. "Don't worry, Devon. You're part of the family and Dale looks out for you the same as he does for everyone else. How can he or we help you ?"
"I feel really strange coming here about this, but Luis and I want to have a relationship." Devon stated, hesitantly. "You know. Sex."
"Which is it, a relationship or sex ?" Dale asked.
"I don't know what you mean." Devon answered.
"I think I understand why Kevin suggested you see me." Dale responded. "Are you and Luis planning a life together which includes raising little soccer players, or are you out to just fuck each other continually until one or both of you can't get it up anymore ? Are you in love, or in lust ?"
Devon sat there not knowing what to say. It wasn't that he was shocked, he just didn't know what the answer was. It had never occurred to him to decide ahead what the extent or type their relationship would be. The fact was Devon had never had a relationship. He'd had his cock sucked a few times and he'd wanted to do more, but he had never had the opportunity. Either he'd been too drunk, or too scared, or too hurried. Dale could read the confusion in his eyes and knew from the look how vulnerable Devon was.
"Jason, go and get Luis." Dale instructed me. I went to the lounge and spotted Luis out on the deck pacing back and forth. I concluded Devon had told him he was going to talk to Dale. I asked him to join us in our cabin with Devon.
"Luis, it's my job to see that everyone is protected." Dale told him when we were all seated in our cabin. "Sometimes that means from outside influences and sometimes that means from themselves. My security reports about you are very complimentary. They show you are honest, generous and you don't drink, gamble or womanize. They also don't indicate you are gay. So what's going on ?" The young man was startled at first. Dale's straight forward approach caught him unprepared. You could see him make a decision.
"I have trust in you, Dale." Luis responded. "You must realize that I am a visitor to your country and remain here on a work visa at the pleasure of your government. I can not allow my name or reputation to be associated with anything which could jeopardize my career and staying here. For this reason I have never allowed myself a relationship, or even a brief encounter. This has been very difficult, but now that I have met Devon, it is no longer possible. I am in love."
"And what about you ?" Dale asked, turning to Devon. "Are you in love ?"
"I think so." the boy replied. "I've never been in love before, so I am not sure. I want to be with Luis all the time. My heart speeds up when I see him. I am so horny I'm hard almost all the time. When he's not near me all I can think about is him."
"Looks like they've both got it really good." I commented. Dale nodded.
"Luis, McAdams Corp. will look into getting your citizenship approved without delay so you can live your life without need of anyone's pleasure." Dale assured him. "You two must decide whether you want to have an affair, or if you intend to make a life together for yourselves. No matter which way you decide we will provide any assistance you may need. This may sound strange, but I recommend to both of you that you not attempt intercourse without some basic instruction. You will find there is lots to keep you occupied until you get it."
"Can we stay together, Dale, here on the boat ?" Devon asked.
"You may have the Master Suite. I will clear it with Mr. Chen." Dale replied.
"Thank you, Dale. I am so happy I took Kevin's advice to talk with you." Devon said. After they had left our cabin, Dale and I were talking further about them.
"They would make a nice couple." I observed.
"Yes. They are both decent guys." Dale responded. "I'm glad Devon has pulled it together so well. He is not the same person who sat in Dean's office a few weeks ago and he is nowhere near the person who attacked Davey."
"I'm glad you have allowed him to change in your mind, my love." I replied. "It reflects how much you have grown as a leader and as a man. I love you very much."
"It's your love that has encouraged the change in me," he observed, "and for that I will be forever thankful. I love you and you will always be mine."
"Forever." I assured him.
Friday, August 19 We left dock early this morning. Seeing as we had become two days behind in our planned schedule, it was decided that we would return to our quiet, up-river bay today and spend the night there. Tomorrow we would travel most of the day and dock where we had stopped for our first overnight sometime in the late afternoon. Sunday, we would complete the trip home and sleep in our own beds on Sunday night.
This plan met with everyone's approval. By 1:p.m. we were anchored in the quiet of our secluded bay and enjoyed an afternoon of swimming and sun tanning. Eric Tanner was becoming better known to all of us and although he spent a good deal of his time with Denny, Davey and Kevin, he also made an effort to get to know each of the other crew members. I sat sunning with a group during the afternoon which besides myself consisted of Eric, Dale, Kevin, Davey, Denny, Digger, Tim, Brian and Jamie.
"Now as I understand it, my nephews are not yet really my nephews, but will soon become my nephews." Eric said.
"On September 9th." Davey replied, the excitement in his voice obvious.
"But only two of you are joining the family at that time." Eric further clarified.
"Me and Davey." reported Denny.
"And what about you, big guy ?" he asked, turning his attention to Kevin. "Something holding you back from making the big leap ?" Kevin sat quietly for a moment.
":I've been giving it a lot of thought lately," he replied, "and I decided to wait until Davey and Denny have their special day before I make any decisions. They deserve to have September 9th special for them and I intend to celebrate their great fortune." Everyone realized this was not a time to pursue this discussion with Kevin any further.
"And so," Eric said, turning his attention back to the younger boys, "what names have you chosen ?" He was met with a couple of blank stares. "When you're adopted there is an opportunity to change your name. Babies are often given totally new names, but when you're older, like you guys, then you usually keep the name you are known by, change your last name and maybe change your middle name, or if you don't have one, add one on." You could see the wheels in Denny's head turning as he thought over what Eric had told him.
"You mean instead of David Graham Curry, I can be David `Something' Tanner ? Davey asked.
"That's right." Dale verified. "And Denny can be Dennis `Something' Tanner."
"Wow." Denny exclaimed.
"I already know what name I want." Davey said. "I want to be David Ted Tanner, so I have part of Dad's name.
"Well, that's a nice idea, Davey, but your Dad's name is actually Edward." I explained to him. "Ted is a short form of Edward, you might even call it a nickname."
"Okay," Davey corrected himself, "I'm going to be David Edward Tanner."
"That's a fine sounding name, Davey." Dale commented. "I'm sure your Dad will be very proud to have you carry a part of his name."
"Hhmph." Denny expelled as he crossed his arms, bowed his head and scowled.
"And what's wrong with you, little man ?" Dale inquired.
"I want to be Edward and Davey went and took it." Denny grumbled as only an eight year old can manage.
"Well. You could be Edward too," Eric suggested, "but it's kind of unusual for two brothers to both have the same middle name. Why don't you take your Dad's middle name ? He is Edward Robert Tanner." Denny immediately brightened at this suggestion.
"That means I can be Denny Robert Tanner." Denny enthused.
"How `bout you make that Dennis Robert Tanner." I suggested. "Everyone can still call you Denny anyway."
"Now there are distinguished names if ever I heard them." Eric announced. "Fine additions to the Tanner line of men. Dennis Robert and David Edward. I look forward to shaking the hands of those two fine gentlemen." Everyone chuckled as Denny and Davey both beamed with pride. "Now Kevin, what is that going to leave for you to choose from ?"
"I'm not concerned." Kevin countered Eric's attempt to establish a commitment. "If the need comes for me to make a choice, I have two fine Uncles to provide me with good middle names, Dean or Eric. I also have the benefit of friends and mentors whose names I would take pride in claiming: Dale, Jason, Anson, Brian. I'm sorry Digger, but your name just doesn't seem to flow evenly with Kevin." Everyone laughed.
"I don't think I ever heard your actual name, Digger." Anson commented. "Don't you think as your partner I have a right to know what it is ?"
"No." Digger responded. "Knowledge of my given names is on a `need to know' basis and no one needs to know."
"I know," stated Dale, "and I agree with Digger. No one needs to know. Suffice it to say I am sure his parents had their reasons for naming him, but it was not a particularly kind thing they did." Everyone chuckled at Dale's observation and I wondered briefly if he would share the joke with me later if I asked. I didn't think so. Dale was very rigid about keeping private information private, a value in him which I respected.
The balance of the afternoon and evening were spent in recreational activity. We all enjoyed our surroundings and each others' company. I noticed that this trip had made all of us better friends and allowed us to experience each other in a social way we did not have time to do in our normal lives and routines.
Excerpts from day notes of Dale Savage, Security Manager.
Friday, August 19 Last evening I had a second visit from Luis. I had cleared permission with Mr. Chen for them to use the Master Cabin, the one which Dean and Ted had vacated. I was honoured Mr. Chen did not question why I wanted this arrangement, he merely accepted I would not request it without a good reason. I passed word to Luis the cabin was theirs and about an hour later he was back wanting to talk with me. My basic observation was that he was hot, horny and scared to death.
"Dale, my friend." Luis began. "I call you friend because you have shown me great consideration in the brief time since we have met. I am embarrassed by my need to speak to you on this matter, but my fear for the well being of the one I love, outweighs my pride as a man."
"You are free to talk to me at anytime, Luis, without any fear of loss to your pride." I told him. "I will speak to you as I would to a brother." I was aware of the traditions of Luis' people and how hard it was for him to seek help from a stranger. The openness he had presented at our earlier discussion was an indication of how strongly he cared about Devon and sharing that with Jason and me had to have been a great effort for him.
"Dale, I enter my relationship with Devon as a beginner, a virgin, having some idea of the concepts, but no real knowledge of how to go about satisfying our desires." Luis then told me about his strict upbringing. He was educated at home by nuns and had no real contact with other children except the football (soccer) league he belonged to. He was strictly supervised in that as well and spent no time alone with others his own age. He had only recently, with support from Peter Reynolds, cast off his family's guards and begun a life of his own.
I learned he had discussed all this with Devon and in turn been given an outline of Devon's past including his alcoholic period and brushes with the law. Luis was astounded that we would take Devon on after what he had done to Davey. He told me he knew he could trust me because I was part of the authority of this place and anyone who would help Devon the way we had would be sure to help him. It made me realize that the little piece of hate and distrust I had stored away against Devon was inappropriate and I needed to cast it off immediately.
Luis and I talked for an hour. We discussed the mechanics of sex in an open way men seldom discuss something to gain understanding. I told him about the emotional fulfillment I have attained since finding someone I love more than myself. We didn't dwell on sucking and fucking, we spent our time on the aspects of making love and sharing it with your partner. He listened and asked questions as we went along and I could tell from his reactions he was beginning to see the realization of the intimacy he craved was coming within his reach.
As we talked, the seed of an idea sprouted in my mind. Being the Protector to the Guardians made me privy to a lot of information about their abilities which others were not clear or certain about. I concentrated intensely for a moment and within a very few minutes there was a light knock on my door. After Denny entered the room, I started to question him trying to be careful not to say anything which Luis would find unusual. Before I said two words Denny spoke in my mind.
"I know what you want to do, Dale and the answer is `yes', I can copy a memory from your mind and project it to Luis without seeing the memory myself. Can I ask why I should not view the memory ?"
"The subject matter of the memory is about sex, Denny and is not something you need to know now at your age. Luis does have need of the information and his having it will improve his life and that of his partner."
"I understand, Dale and I will do as you have requested. Concentrate on the memory and where you want it to end. I have it and will transfer it to Luis when I turn and look into his eyes."
In my room Luis heard the knock on my door and then saw Denny enter and close the door behind himself.
"Denny, I have a favour....." I started to say and then stopped speaking as Denny and I stared at each other for a few moments.
"Luis, Denny is going to do a favour for me and I am not going to be able to explain to you how he does it." I stated. "Will you please look directly into his eyes for a moment ?" Luis smiled and leaned forward slightly as Denny turned to him and looked directly at him. His face went slack and his mouth fell open slightly as his mind flashed back on a memory he had never had before.
In the memory, a man, Dale, lay naked on a bed with another man, Jason. He watched as they stroked each other's body, kissed and nuzzled each other and he felt the warmth and depth of their feelings, the joy and satisfaction each gave the other. As the memory progressed, they became more intimate until they each eventually reached climax without penetration. When the memory segment ended he snapped back to the reality of the present. Dale sat watching him. Denny was gone.
"What happened ?" Luis asked. "Did I go to sleep ?"
"In a way." Dale responded. "I just shared a memory with you. You now have the basic knowledge which we have been discussing and a memory to help you use it effectively. Do you understand ?"
"I understand what I remember, but not how I can remember it." he answered. "Thank you for letting me feel like a man again. You are truly my friend to share such a treasure with me. I will never forget how much I owe to you."
"Friends do not owe for helping each other." I stated. "Anything owed is to the boy." Luis nodded in agreement.
