The following is a pure work of fiction and is the property of the author.

If you are looking to get off quick, read something else. This story is presented in serial form and you'll read a lot of background, before you get any mindblowing sex scenes.

If you are bothered by same sex relationships, read no farther. This is a story about the interaction of males with each other in a fanciful setting. It's a story with some sex, not sex with some story.

Thanks to those who have encouraged me to continue with the presentation of this series.

Hope that you continue to enjoy. LJB

Prophecy/Prophesy

A few have questioned the spelling in the title, pointing out the difference between the noun and the verb. The error in the title is the use of the indefinite article "a". Prophecy has an implication of religous source which is not true of this story. Prophesy has a super natural connotation which was the intent of using this verb. The title should have been: To Fulfill Prophesy, using a double verb. Please, no more spelling notes.

To Fulfill a Prophesy

Dean - Tuesday night

"I want to adopt Davey." Ted announced that evening as we sat together in the security suite. "I agree with Chen that he's the one. It's not only that though, I really do care a great deal for him. I can better help him as a parent than just as a guard."

"I think that would be an excellent move," I responded. "but you should plan on waiting a while before you take any further actions."

"I'm not going to change my mind." he said, almost being defensive.

"Ted." I counseled, "I believe that you are committed, but Davey is going to need adjusting time. You must remember that two days ago, he was sleeping under a bridge and tomorrow were going to move him into the `castle'. He's going to have a shock and although I feel he has the intuitive sense to handle it, I think we owe him time for adjustment. I support you all the way on this. Just don't let Davey get trampled in a rush to nail down all the edges. I also agree with Chen. We must encourage his abilities in a way that allows him to learn his true future slowly."

Ted said, he understood what I was saying and he could agree, there should be an adjustment period. He then filled me in totally on the discussions they had, while he was bathing Davey this morning. I, in turn, took the opportunity to tell him about my counseling session.

Later, we were both sitting on our beds undressing. I moved over and sat beside Ted on the edge of his bed, leaned into him and kissed him. He accepted my kiss without actively participating, but he didn't push me away either.

"Thank you for holding me the other night when I was so upset." I told him. He leaned over and kissed me. This was a kiss to be remembered. His tongue entered my mouth and tickled my tongue. It swept across the surfaces and invited me to follow it back to its home, where it played with me for what seemed to be hours.

"Thank you for being upset enough I got to hold you all night." he replied, when the kiss ended. His kiss had taken my breath away and it took me a moment to recover.

"I'm a little lost, Ted. I want our relationship to go farther, but I'm afraid to proceed, even when I think you may be indicating you are willing."

"Dean, I just want to go slowly." Ted replied. "You and I know each other so well, it would be easy to take each other for granted. A little at a time. You still need time of your own, to let you sort feelings out, but whenever you need to be held, I'm available. You don't ever have to be alone when you are having a rough time. And when you are truly ready, I'll be there." I understood what he was saying and in truth, agreed. I didn't need a lover to occupy my attention. It was more important to sort my feelings out. Above all else, I knew, he was there for me and always my friend.

We had just settled into our beds and turned our lights out, when there was a soft knock at the bedroom door. The door opened, before either of us could respond and someone moved into the room.

"Ted ?" called a weak voice, which obviously had been crying.

"Davey," Ted called out, "what's wrong ?" The boy's figure moved over to Ted's bed and sat on the edge. The big man reached out and pulled Davey to his chest, being careful, where his cast landed. I turned on my light.

"Denny is in trouble." the boy sobbed into Ted's chest. "Something bad is going to happen to him, tomorrow morning. I was so busy, thinking about what was going on and what was going to happen to me, I just didn't think about him. I was lying in bed, thinking about the people who sleep under the bridge and suddenly, I knew that he was in danger."

"Whoa, " Ted interrupted, "tell me first, who Denny is ?" Davey had stopped crying and now sat back up, so that he could look at Ted.

"Denny is my friend. He came about three weeks ago and I found him wandering around one day and took him to stay with me. I made sure he had something to eat everyday and was safe at night. He ran away from home, because his mother was always taking off somewhere and leaving him with her boyfriend. He had been taking Denny's clothes off to give him bathes and touching him and making Denny touch him back. One day, when he was drunk, he tried to fuck him. Denny got away and I found him a couple days later."

"How old is Denny ?" I asked.

"He said he was nine, but I think he is only seven or eight." Davey replied.

"I'll call Chief Farrell and....."

"No, don't" Davey said. "The police will never get near them. We have escape routes all set and they will just scatter, or someone will get hurt. I just know, if we don't get him, tomorrow morning he will be hurt." I thought for a moment.

"Well Davey, we can't just sit and do nothing and still help your friend."

"We don't need to." Ted told us. "If stealth is required to rescue this boy and bring him here, then we already have the men who can do the job. Davey, I want a description of Denny and tell me exactly where this bridge is, you slept under." Ted listened very carefully to Davey's description of Denny and the location and then picked up the phone and dialed a number. After a brief pause, he identified himself, gave a complete summary of the details and objective and asked the party on the line to make a `retrieval' with as little disruption, as possible. He hung up the phone and said, "It will be done, within the next two hours."

It was then 11:15 p.m.

We got dressed. Davey, watching us dress, snickered as Ted pulled on his white, jockey underwear.

"What's so funny, Davey ?" I asked.

"Oh, nothing really, I guess." he replied. "I just had a bet with myself, Ted wore white jockeys. That's all." Ted and I just looked at each other blankly, amazed at the things, that young minds think about. We took Davey back to his room and bed. None of us were going to sleep, so we sat with him and talked and played cards to pass the time.

At 1:00 a.m. the door of Davey's room swung open and we all turned to look. In the doorway stood Jason and Dale, dressed in black Commando' gear. They both had great, wide grins on their faces. Standing between them, was a raggedy bundle with a furry crop of bright red hair on his head, sucking on a Tootsie Roll'. He hesitated, leaning back against the men's legs, as he viewed us and then he looked at Davey, hard and long. You could see the recognition slowly come into his eyes. Davey's appearance had changed drastically in the past few days.

"Davey" he shouted with glee and ran over to his friend. "We thought you were gone, Davey." he said, "Nobody knew what happened to you. We went looking, but nobody sawed you since Saturday afternoon."

"It's okay, Denny" Davey assured him. "I had a little accident," he looked up at me. "but I'm okay now. These men are my friends and they went to get you, as soon as I asked them." He looked over at Jason and Dale and said, "Thank you, guys."

"No problem at all, Davey." Jason called back to him. Ted lifted the small boy onto the bed, so he could stay with Davey and we four men, left the boys for a few minutes and stepped outside to talk.

"It was no problem at all, Boss" Dale reported. "We were in and had the boy located, before anyone even knew we were there. They actually had a sentry posted, but he never even saw us."

"The boy was good, when we told him Davey sent us." Jason continued. "He was more excited, than scared. He was hungry, so we picked up a fast food meal on the way here. It was gone in a flash, so he might still want something more to eat." Ted and I thanked both the men.

"All part of the service, Boss." Dale responded and they headed home to bed. We then had to decide, what to do with our newest child, so we went back into the room to talk to the boys.

"Now that Denny's arrived, we have to decide, what is the best we can do for him." I told the boys.

"Well," Davey said, "You have Ted and Jamie and Ted has you and me. Can't we just all share Denny." It was the type of simplistic view, that would take hours to try to unravel for a fourteen year old and it was too early in the morning to try.

"I think we'll just go to bed and sort this out in the morning," Ted groaned, "but first I'm going to introduce Mr. Denny to Mr. Bath Tub." All of us saw immediately, a look of terror form on Denny's face and cloud his eyes. You could also see Davey sense the terror. He immediately took hold of Denny's arm and spoke calmly to him.

"It's all right, Denny. That's my Dad. His name is Ted. He's okay. He won't hurt you. He gave me a bath this morning and it was great." Denny was looking at Davey and the words seemed to calm him and settle his fear. Ted moved over beside the boy.

"It'll be all right, Denny." Ted told him, softly. "Neither Dean, nor I will ever hurt you on purpose, or do anything that makes you uncomfortable." Denny looked up at Ted and the fear was gone. Denny then extended his arms to Ted and the big man picked him up and carried him in to the tub. I went next door and found a clean T-shirt for the boy to use for night wear.

We decided to put Denny in the third bed in our room. Just to avoid any unintentional, frightening situations for him, Ted and I wore our underwear to bed. All was quiet for a little while, but Ted realized at some point Denny was standing beside his bed, staring at him.

"What's the trouble, little guy ?" Ted asked.

"I'm not used to sleeping by myself, anymore. I'm scared." the little voice pleaded.

"Do you think, you might not be afraid, if you slept in here ?" Ted asked, raising his covers and indicating the space in front of him. There was no reply to the offer. The little body, tucked itself in tight against the big man's front and in a very few minutes, they were both off to sleep.

A call, first thing in the morning, brought Brad, my lawyer, back to see us. With Davey's help, we got the story from Denny, about what had happened to him and the information, which Brad would need to write a petition. Denny turned out to be 8 years old.

"Expanding the family?" was Brad's droll comment to Ted and me. Denny's story was parallel, to the accounting which Davey had related to us, last night. Brad called me that same afternoon, to let me know that custody had been granted for ninety days, while Juvenile Authority completed an investigation and made its recommendation

Davey's doctors were all in, to check on him, early in the morning. Dr. Klieg was astounded by the condition of Davey's leg. He said, he had never seen a dislocation, heal so quickly. Each doctor, gave their blessing to Davey going home and by midmorning, we were almost ready to go.

Just as we started to pack everything, Davey, who was facing away from the door, said, "Hi, Mr. Chen."

Ted and I turned and our little Chinaman, standing just inside the door, bowed and said, "I am Chen. Good day Davey." I was pleased to see Mr. Chen, as he had been an honoured and favourite fixture, all through my life. No one, actually knew how old he was.

One time, I had looked for his employment application, and found a note in the personnel files, that said, "They had not yet printed the forms, when I was hired." It was of course signed, `Chen'. He had always, been an enigma in my life and I treasured him, as a mentor and friend.

"Did you find what we need, Mr. Chen ?" I asked.

"I did indeed, Mr. Dean." he replied. "Mr. Denny, these are for you." He extended his arms offering the boy the packages and bags, which he held. Denny had been staring at the little man since he arrived. The young boy moved over to the man, who was barely taller than he was himself and took some of the bags which were offered.

"Thank you, Mr. Chen." he said, politely. The rest of the parcels, were set on the bed. I advised Chen, we were all headed home and would be there for lunch, by one o'clock.

"Everything has been prepared." Mr. Chen replied.

Denny had started to empty the bags and found a complete, new set of clothes. There was everything, he needed to get dressed and he took them into the bathroom and began to dress.

"That is for Mr. Davey." Chen said, indicating one of the parcels on the bed. Davey turned and looked at Ted questioningly, but Ted just shrugged his shoulders. Ripping the parcel open, he let out a roar.

"A-one! This is great." he raved, removing a red and white, collegiate type jacket. "This is exactly like the one, I had taken. "Thank you, Mr. Chen." Chen nodded, to acknowledge the boy's thanks. We all turned to see Denny come out of the bathroom in his new clothes. Everything appeared to fit precisely and the boy looked great. Denny was about 3'8" in height. His most noticeable feature was the red, almost orange since Ted washed it, head of hair, that topped his freckled face, with its bright, blue eyes. He was thin, too thin and I thought, that a week of regular meals, would have him filling out more suitably. He had long legs and large feet, which made me believe he was going to do a lot of growing still. He proudly displayed the new runners, which he thought were most special. "Bye, Mr. Chen." Davey said without looking to the door and I knew that Chen would be gone.

Jamie - Wednesday afternoon

Some days are better than others. At least my roommate likes me, when he wants something. I wish the water in the lake was warmer. Boy I was surprised, when Dad called me. I should have been really mad at him and I tried to be, but I really was happy, to hear his voice. The other boys get visitors. I sure will be happy, when swimming starts in the lake. If I had just gotten off the block a little faster at the last meet, I could have.....

"What're you thinking about so hard, Jamie ?" I looked over and saw Mr. Bailey, my Athletics and Judo Instructor. At this school, students are called by their last names, but when we were alone, he always called me, Jamie. He had really been, my only true friend, this year at school. Maybe, because it was his first year and also, my first year and neither one of us, ever went anywhere, or had anyone visit us.

"Nothing special, Sir." I answered. "Just sitting here on the dock, wishing that we could swim in the lake soon." I got up and walked over to where he was leaning, against the stone fence. I really admired Mr. Bailey. He was tall, about 6'2", and had rusty coloured hair and greenish eyes. He had broad shoulders and a chest shaped like a `V', like the best swimmers. I guess, when he was growing up in Australia, he had been a lifeguard. His chest, didn't have any hair on it. You could see it, when he wore his Judogi (uniform).

"Sir, I don't remember if I told you, but I am going to my father's home for the weekend. I know you don't get away from the school, hardly at all and I was wondering, if you would like to come with me ? There is lots of room and I know, he would like to meet one of my instructors. I would really appreciate you coming. I know I told you before, I don't see him very often and the last few times I was there, he was busy in his office all the time."

"It's very kind on you to offer, Jamie. I just might like some time away from the school for a change. Why don't you ask your Dad and if he says it's all right, then I would be happy to accompany you." This suited Digger Bailey to a `Tee'. He had wondered, what he would do for the weekend, with his main charge away. He had really enjoyed this assignment. Jamie was overall, a good kid, but he really needed someone to attach to. He needed his Dad and a home. He had told Ted several times, Mr. McAdams' absence was weighing heavily on the boy and he was pleased, Ted had been correct and his Dad was getting involved again. The school had been nice and the boys were great, but he would like getting back to the city and maybe finding a little personal company.

"That's really great, Sir. My Dad is calling me tonight and I'll get it all set with him, then. Thank you, I will feel a lot better having you there, with me." I told him. This was really great. Dad had sounded really good when I talked to him, but after my last visit, I'm kind of uncertain, if I will actually get to see him much. Uncle Ted and Mr. Chen will likely be there and they try to keep me busy, but I'm going there to be with my Dad and I want him to be with me.

It's funny, when you grow up without your Dad, how no one else is really quite the same. Chad, who was Mom's third husband, had been nice to me. He even tried to spend some time with me, but he wasn't my Dad and he always was reminding me of that. I remember visiting with my Dad, when I was younger and we always had great times. He and Uncle Ted would play with me and take me places and tuck me in bed at night and read me stories. It was like having two Dads for awhile. After Grandma and Grandpa died, it was different. Dad was different. He didn't seem to try anymore at anything, except his business. He was so busy, that he didn't have time for anything, especially me. Even his telephone calls stopped. Uncle Ted still calls me every week and I love him, but it's not the same. I'm so glad I will get the chance to see my Dad. But then. I'm afraid, he won't love me anymore, especially if he ever finds out, what I did.

Dean - Wednesday afternoon

This had been quite the day. It's different for me coming home to the castle'. For the others it's this huge, fantastic, elaborate fantasy and they're right, it is. But to me, it's home, it's what I've always known. It's where I grew up. All my memories of my family, which I'm really starting to embrace, centre around the castle'. It's where I feel most comfortable and I easily forget how intimidating it can be to others. I think it took Ted about 5 years to settle in here. Now, I think he feels mostly the same as I do about the place. New arrivals, like Jason and Dale, will settle into their suite well enough. But the rest of the estate will be like a foreign land to them. They were joking the other day about getting lost in the hallways. When Davey and Denny saw the `castle' they had no idea of what to make of it. It was as if they were entering a fairy kingdom. They were so excited, they were flying about 10 feet off the ground.

As we passed through the tree grove, from the highway into the clearing, Davey took a look around and said, "What's this ? Are we stopping for something ?"

"This is the `castle'." Ted told him. "We live here." This blank expression came over both his and Denny's faces as their eyes grew large and they looked around trying to take everything in.

"I know exactly how they feel." Jason commented, looking at the boys.

"So do I." Ted said. "I can still remember the first time I came here." Dale pulled the new limousine, which my Security Chief had arranged for, now that I was to have a driver, up to the front entrance. As we all spilled out of the car, the front doors opened and Mr. Chen came out into the entryway, followed by the estate staff, en mass. This totaled about 35 people, today.

As we stood there, he bowed deeply, and said, "I am Chen. We welcome you all." The display was obviously meant as a welcome for the boys.

To my surprise, Davey stepped forward, bowed to Mr. Chen and replied, "We are honoured by your welcome." I think for the first in my life, I saw surprise and then a brief smile on Chen's face. I took this opportunity to address the staff.

"Thank you for your greeting to our newest residents. There are far too many gathered here today to expect the boys to remember everyone's name, so instead I will introduce them to you and you may meet them one at a time as the opportunities arise. Gentlemen, this is David and Dennis." I indicated each one separately. Somehow, this all reminded me of a scene from Little Orphan Annie', which would cast me in the role of Daddy Warbucks'.

We all then went into the house. Mr. Chen guided the boys upstairs to show them their room He had decided to put them together in one room with twin beds. This seemed to be a very good decision, for the time being, until we found out how permanent our arrangements would be. Each boy stuffed one of their hands in one of Ted's, so he accompanied them and I took Dale and Jason with me into the Library. It really pleased me to see the boys relating to Ted and how easily he was adjusting to interacting with them. It then occurred to me that he had done this with Jamie on my behalf while I had been so obsessed in my other world, so this really wasn't that new to him.
