DISCLAIMER: I bloody hate these things, there is no point to them But because it's the law then I'll hafta say something. U can't read this if you are under the legal age limit (18 or 21 or watever it is your country says). And to make this a real bummer, no-one mentioned in this story (Nysnc or A1, U gotta love these guys, and I know, they are the ones in Destiny's Decision) is gay, although it wouldn't hurt if they were.
HELLO! ITS ME AGAIN! I'm Lashrac, author of Destiny's Decision, I'm going to be writing two stories at the same time, but expect this one to be updated more often since it does suit me more. I wasn't quite happy with the other one, but I'm going to continue it while I write this story, which one will end up better I don't know.
This is gonne be one of those fantasy world stories, since I LOVE the setting of them, and I can seriously say I was convinced to begin this from reading Nsync Saga by Therin. Go check out other great stories too, like Justin's Real World (by my great friend Malak), Justin's Dark Angel (Even, this is a GREAT STORY, A MUST READ), My New Life (James), Nsync Saga (Therin) and there are tons more to read, but I just don't have time to mention them. And so on with the first chapter, and for the ppl who didn't read the disclaimer and dunno which celebs it is gonna be revolving around, it is gonna be on Nsync and A1, which one more I dunno, depends on the flow of the story.
btw a ## in the story means that its an author's note --------------------------
TORMENTED SOUL
Chapter 1
1st February, Orlando, outside Justin's house, 7:30pm
A shadowy figure stood upon the roof in the moonlight. Her hair swayed in the wind and she was clad in strange black and blue clothing. With one graceful leap she jumped from the roof of the 2 story mansion and landed in silence on the pavement outside the house. She turned around to face the door and looked at the moon that shone above. The moonlight glistened upon her her long blue hair and in the dim light you could make out the thin light grey streaks that ran the length it. She turned her attention to the house infront of her and the people inside, she closed her eyes and did something beyond imagination. With a mere thought she sent her mind scattering into the house, she found everything she was meant to and nothing that she wasn't meant to. Each and every member of the quintet they called 'Nsync was in the house, no less and no more, they were alone, and that was what she needed, for she, Lunar, was to bring them back to her master.
At the same time in England
From the dark shadows appeared a figure, the street lights bringing his form into existance. He walked slowly towards the house that belonged to the one called Ben Adams. From the side appeared two bodygaurds, both looking like they could crush him with a hand. They stepped infront of the man infront of them and each put their arm out stopping him from going any further. When they opened their mouths to speak nothing came out. Suddenly their bodies burst into silent flames, no sound was made as their charred skeltons shattered on the ground. The man seemed untouched as he took a quick glance at the two skeletons and whispered quietly something inaudible.
He looked at the door infront of him, he knew behind it were the ones he was looking for, the ones that were so important that nothing was allowed to happen to them. He reached out his hand and placed it on the door, it instantly caught fire and burned into a pile of ashes. He walked in and was greeted by four horrified faces, each a member of the band A1. The door, or what was the door suddenly set alight again once the stranger was in, and miraculously the door reformed from the flames.
"H..h....h....who are you?" the one with the blonde hair stuttered out.
"I am who I wish to be and who you wish to see me as, but I am who they call Solomon." he calmly replied.
"How did...did...you do...that with the door?" the one with long brown hair asked.
"Mere basics in magic, something you might be able to do in the not so distant future."
"What are you talking about?" the one with black spiky hair finally spoke up.
"I am not of this realm, as you might have noticed, but that is not relevant, what you do need to know is that you are not either." the four were confused and turned to each other only to turn back to this stranger to see what else he had to say. "Over 5 centuries ago a great war started in my realm Grackius, 4 demon lords had been summoned up and begun a war that was to last for centuries, till this day the war continues and we are losing. With each passing day the demon lords take more and more of Grackius. Not long after the war begun, one of the high priests of Taron created a rift to save his townsmen and himself, a rift which led here, but unluckily only 9 people went through before the priest was slain and the rift closed. In the prophecies it says that, 'When the day becomes darkness and fire rains from the heavens a new evil shall replace the old and the realm of Grackius will plunge into eternal hell. Only if the decendants of the Outcasts can be found shall Grackius be saved, lest it become a living hell.' For years we have been searching, and now we have finally realised what it meant, the refugees were the Outcasts and you are their descendants. Within you lies a power beyond your imagining and a burden heavier than any other...."
Back in Orlando
Lunar had entered the house easily, her phsycic powers teleported her inside the house and held her suspended in the air as she waited for the five to recompose themselves. They had asked many questions, but she didn't answer any instead she dismissed each one. When they had finally settled she levitated herself onto a chair and made herself confortable. Her mind was linked with Solomon and she started her explanation at the same time Solomon did, if anyone could see them both it would seem as if they were one person. Solomon spoke to A1 as she spoke to Nsync, both of which listened intently to their story.
"Within you lies a power beyond your imagining and a burden heavier than any other. The prophecies have fortold of your deaths if the world of Grackius falls, 'The demons shall consume everything upon Grackius and then seek out the Outcasts, upon thier realm they shall bring themselves to feed until all is gone and hell spreads to yet another innocent world.' If you do not help us then eventually you too shall perish and all who have fought to fulfill the prophecies to save Grackius will have perished for no cause. Lives will have been lost in vain, and you shall be the ones responsible. I stand here now to give you your choices, but I tell you this, you must either all come, or you all stay, all 9 of you must come or the prophecy will not come true." She watched as the 5 people infront of her gathered together to discuess their situation.
England
Solomon had finished and the choice was now up to the 4 infront of him. After half an hour of quiet discussions they turned to face Solomon.
"So what is your choice? Do you come with me or not?" Solomon asked.
"To be honest, we don't know, but if what you say is true, then we will come with you. If we're to die in the end, we rather see what this world of yours is like, and what these powers are that you talk about." Christian spoke for the group.
"As you wish, but you do know that the other 5 must also agree, so we shall wait until they reach a conclusion to thier discussion." He sat down to wait for Lunar's telepathic message.
Orlando
"Well?" Lunar was getting impatient. The 5 came back and sat down infront of her once again.
"I believe we don't have much of a choice in the matter, if we don't go we die, if we do go there's a chance we survive this. So we're going." JC spoke up.
"Thank you," she stood up grasped JC's hands and bowed to him, "you don't know how important this is." JC was dumbstruck, he had never been bowed to before, let alone such a beautiful young women like Lunar.
Lunar regained her composure and relayed a mental message to Solomon, telling him they were ready for the 'trip' home.
Midnight at the Sahara Desert
A cool desert wind blew across the dunes. The night was cold, but the 11 figures which stood there seemed unaffected. Infront of them a rift rippled with energy and light, and one of the figures stepped up to touch it.
"Are you ready?" Lunar asked the group.
"No, since we don't know what's on the otherside." As usual Justin was being a smartass.
One by one they stepped through the rift, until no-one was left on this side.
THROUGH THE RIFT, AND INTO THE REALM OF GRACKIUS
The rift closed instantly as Lunar stepped through. They were in a thick jungle.
"Lunar, look." Solomon pointed to one of the trees, from it was a man suspended by a rope around his neck, he was dead. Lunar gasped at the site, and instantly turned towards the bushes when she heard some rustling. A man erupted from the scrub, scratches on his face, blood running down his arm, clothes turn and bloodied.
"Lord Solomon...we...were...ambushed after you left..." before he finished speaking a large red beast leapt at him from behind, sinking its teeth into the flesh of the man's neck. Within 2 seconds the man was dead and on the ground, the creature looked up at Solomon, who was directly infront of it. It's fur was a fiery red, eyes as black as night, and the size of a lion. It looked at Solomon for an instant before it opened its mouth and from it erupted a jet of fire. The flame burst against an invisible barrier that Solomon put up, it leapt at him, Solomon barely dodged the slashing claws and knashing teeth. The fierce beast was a creature from the depths of hell, Hellhounds they were called, little matched against them.
"GO!" Solomon shouted to Lunar, "I can hold it off, leave with them NOW! They must come to no harm! Master Kelgar will know what to do, go to him, they will be safe there under our brother's protection!" Solomon shouted to them as he desperately dodged the Hellhound. Lunar gave a quick nod to Solomon before she ushered the 9 away from the fray. Before she left her 'brother' she said one last thing, unknown to her though, it would be the last thing she would be able to say Solomon.
"Be careful Solomon! We will wait for you at Master Kelgar's!" with that she turned and left.
I think you should notice that I'm calling the members of Nsync and A1 the 9, thats because 1) i'm too lazy to write their names or the bands' names 2) it sounds better
Lunar led the 9 through the forest, all the while she knew they were being followed, but didn't dare say anything to them until they got to a clearing. She looked around and saw a cave nearby. She led them inside and quickly scanned around with her mind. Luckily she found nothing, except for the quick approaching danger from the outside.
"I want you ALL to stay in here, do not make any sounds and do not do anything that will alert anyone or THING, for that matter, to your presence. And don't come out even if I look like I'm in any danger, none of you are are able to help." All she got was a nod from each of them and she quickly stepped outside into the clearing and waited. Before long she heard some rustling, and from the cover of the trees and scrub stepped out 10 Lizardmen. The 9 watched from the mouth of the cave, and as the creatures come into view they cringed. They stood taller than a human, was faster and more agile, stronger and in some cases more intelligent. But their disadvantage was that they lacked any form of magic, they were armed with long broadswords in one hand (broadswords are too heavy and are meant to be held in 2, this shows the strength of the lizardmen) and occassinally a shield in the other. They charged her, but her physic powers only enhanced her speed and agility and was able to dodge their attacks with ease. She ended up behind them and before they had a chance to recover from the total miss, Lunar had conjured up a spell. With a few waves of her hand the shadows around her seemed to rise up around her, swirling around until they danced around like flames of black fire.
"SHADOW FLARE!" Lunar moved her hands in the direction of the lizardmen and the 'flames' burst foward and engulfed them in a wall of black fire. When the 'fire' was gone, nothing had changed except for the ashes of the lizardmen, nothing seemed to have been touched by the 'fire'.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" An echoed laugh came from behind her, she spun around and on the otherside of the cleaning was a rider. It was clad in a dark shredded cloak, that had a hood which covered its face. The cloak extended past the rider's feet but although it was open at the front, nothing but darkness was underneath. Within the hooded darkness two red flames glowed, they seemed to represent eyes. The steed on which the rider was on was covered comepletely by a black cloak, its face covered by a mask made of bone, the only thing showing were its blue fiery eyes and its bony hooves. The rider held a large twisted staff in one bony hand, atop the staff was a skull, whose sockets seemed to glow with energy. "It is time for you to have a taste of the undead...RISE!" he pointed his staff at the ground infront of him. The ground seemed to tremble a bit before a horde of skeletons rose up from the ground. Lunar was outnumbered 100 to 1 and there was no way she could take them down and then the Death Knight that was there. She struck a battle pose, but before the first ranks of the skeletons could reach her, thunderbolts which came from behind struck the first row of them down. She turned around and saw another figure clad in black, a hood covered his face, and the cloak fell down to his shins. His hand was extended and one could still see the traces of electricity dancing around his fingers.
"I thought you would run into some problems, so I decided to see what you were up to." The new arrival said.
"Well I'm glad of you to finally arrive, I was not thinking of taking this horde of bones on." Lunar was smiling, it was the first time she had ever smiled since the 9 had met her.
"Shall we dance?" the stranger walked up to her.
"Why of course." They stood side by side and faced the skeletons.
Lunar put her fingertips to her temples and closed her eyes. The stranger raised his hands and also closed his eyes and began chanting. A blue aura began to form around Lunar, while a ball of golden fire flowed between the stranger's hands.
Lunar's eyes shot open, "REALITY RIPPLE!", the aura around her shot out in a wave of phsycic energy, it passed through the horde of skeletons, bringing each one back into THEIR reality, of which they had none, therefore destroying them.
The Death Knight stood alone against the forest edge. It didn't move, as if waiting for to be killed. The stranger had formed a ball of golden fire around his hands.
"EXORCISM!" With one swift movement he sent it hurtling at the Death Knight. The creature didn't burn like it was hit by fire, but instead began vaporising, and before it was gone it uttered some last words.
"You might have defeated me, but you are too late to save your brother now! hhahahahahahahaha.." its laugh echoed around as it vanished and died. Lunar spun around, as if looking for something, then turned and looked at the stranger, who only nodded, she turned and bolted into the forest tears cascading down her face. The stranger watched Lunar go, he too felt the same way, but in a way different, he didn't succumb to emotions, he did not shed a tear, not even for his brother. He thought of his past, the suffering he had gone through, and he looked at the cave, and saw only more death, more suffering and a glimmer of hope.
Back in the forest with Solomon
Solomon had managed to take down the first Hellhound after numerous spells, they were quite immune to spells of fire, and Solomon was a speciality at it, which made them both quite eqaul in power. But as soon as it died another replaced it and soon after the new battle started two more Hellhounds joined the fray, Solomon looked at the two newcomers, he was outnumbered, yet he would be able to take them on. But before he could begin anything he felt something around him, a presence of some sort, but it was too late when he realised what it was, it was a BreathStealer, it had crept up on him while he was standing there. He fell over as he raked the air struggling to find a way to get the beast off of him. BreathStealers lack a physical form which meant only magic could harm them, but with each passing second the BreathStealer took another breath from Solomon. He couldn't breath, his energy was dissipating and he was dieing by the second. His struggles slowly weakened as the thoughts of Lunar and his brother came into mind, he sent them one final mental thought, 'Goodbye Lunar, goodbye my brother, protect the 9, you must succeed in this, we have lost too much. We shall meet again, in the realm of Gods.'
As his last breath was taken away his arms stopped flailing around, and his legs stopped kicking, his head fell back onto the ground and the BreathStealer vanished. All that was left was a pale body, a lifeless body, a body which once belonged to Solomon, known as the Mage of Fire, Lord of Calimor, brother of Tyrashk.
