Unconditional Love, chapter 1

June 1995

I was hurrying through the airport, ready to embark on my new life.

The last two weeks had been kind of a blur to me. I went to the interview not knowing what to expect, little did I know that by the time I got home, I would have been offered and accepted the promotion that would require me to leave my life as I knew it behind.

You see, I grew up in rural Indiana, graduated high school, went to college and managed the local pharmacy by the time I was 19. My parents had retired and moved to southeastern Ohio. This promotion would enable me to move back home with them. So over the past two weeks I had sold my car, packed up my apartment, trained my replacement, and said goodbye to my many friends and family.

The night before I was to fly to Cleveland to start my training, I went into Ft. Wayne to party with my girlfriend Candy and best friend Jalinda. Having recently turned 21, I partied hard. The next morning I awoke stretching, and turned to look at the clock.

"Oh my God, we have over slept!" I exclaimed.

"No we haven't." Candy replied. Then she put on her glasses. "Oh my God! We did!"

We had less than an hour to get to the airport. We jumped into our clothes, grabbed my bags and raced to the airport. Candy parked at the door and I jumped out and grabbed my luggage.

"I love you and I'll call you every night." I said as I kissed her goodbye and ran into the airport. I checked my luggage and ran at a full sprint to my gate. As I rounded a corner I ran into what felt like a brick wall. We both fell on our asses. The next thing I remembered was being shaken.

"Are you okay?" the man was asking me.

"I think I am, but I have a splitting headache." I answered as he helped me up. He extended his hand as I got to my feet.

"James Bass, sorry I ran into you."

"Mark Hawkins, and I believe I was the one who was running." I answered apologizing.

I stood there just staring at him, for a kid he is hottttttt. He stood about 6' tall, with light brown hair, and amazing eyes that I could just get lost in. He sort of had that deer-in-the-headlight look. Did I just think he was hot?' I thought to myself. How could I think that? I am straight and just kissed my girlfriend goodbye.'

"Well James, as much as I would like to chat, I am running late." I announced and began to move away quickly.

"Me too, bye." he called after me.

I stopped in the restroom to take a pit stop before finishing my run to the plane. As I entered the plane, I saw James staring out the window halfway down the aisle. I look at my ticket, and then to the seat marker above James. I smile as I sit down next to him. "Looks like we will get to chat after all." I announced, startling James.

As we sit and talk, I tell him about my life and my last two weeks in particular. He pays surprisingly close attention to every detail that I give him.

"So James, what takes you to Detroit?" I asked curiously.

"Detroit is just a layover, I am flying to Orlando" he answered.

"Going to Disney?" I pondered.

" Nope, I recently joined a band there. I was just visiting some family in Ft. Wayne before we started recording."

"So when you are as popular as Boyz to Men, I can say I knew James Bass when he was a nobody." I said with a laugh.

" I just hope we can become as half as popular as those guys." he replied.

As the plane flew on, we chatted about our families and life in general. In about an hour, we arrived in Detroit. Through all of the conversation, I felt like I had known James my whole life.

"James it was a pleasure to meet you, I hope our paths cross again someday."

"Mark, the pleasure was all mine."

We gave each other a hug (you know the hug I am talking about, the one where your chest do not touch, a couple quick pats on the back, a quick separation, looking around making sure no one saw you), and with that he was gone. I had to run, again, all the way to make my connecting flight to Cleveland.

For the next year I managed several different projects, requiring me to fly all over the Mid-Atlantic region. I often thought about James, and about how his life had gone. During that same time, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It really bothered me to leave home every other weekend, but at the same time if I had not taken the job I would never get to see him.

During December of 1996, I was told my position was being eliminated do to a merger. I would have to find a new job or take a demotion. Luck was on my side. The a local store where my parents lived had an opening for manager. So on January 2, 1997, I started managing the store.

It was surprisingly nice living with my parents full time, I guess I had matured and appreciated what they did for me. Since they were both retired that made me the breadwinner in the house, which I reminded them of every time they brought up how expensive a kid I was.

Since I no longer traveled, I saw less and less of Candy. We agreed to meet on the Saturday before Easter to discuss where things were headed. After a long discussion, we decided to part as friends. We still talk to each other from time to time, but contact has broken off for the most part.

Being new to the area, it was very difficult to date. Everyone was setting me up. My mom tried with the neighbor's daughter, my niece tried with her dance instructor, my nephews with their babysitter, and my employees tried to set me up with one of our salespersons.

I myself focused on work. I was always a perfectionist so I worked 12-hour days all of the time. I was always a die-hard country music fan, but during the summer of 1998 I changed. I can't remember why I was changing stations, put I heard an incredible harmony and listened.

"That was "I want you back", the first domestic release for Nsync, next up No Doubt." the DJ said. I liked it so much, I started listening to pop.

A short while later, my sister invited me down to her house for the July 4th weekend.

"Which room do I get?" I asked after I had settled in.

"Kristen's" Holly answered.

"Oh great, just how many Barbie dolls get to watch me undress tonight?" I asked my little neice.

"None Uncle Sparky, but Joey, JC, Justin, Lance and Chris will." she answered in her sweet little innocent tone.

"Who are they?" I asked curiously.

"N' Sync."

"So you have a boyband staying with you." I mused.

"No Uncle Sparky, just some posters."

I ascend the stairs with Kristen in tow. We walked into her room and I threw my bags onto the bed as Kristen turned the light on. I looked up and on the wall, I spotted her posters. I gasp. Can that be him, I thought to myself.

"Kristen, who is that guy with the blonde spiky hair?"

"Oh, that's Lance." she said dreamy eyed.

"Lance who?"

"Lance Bass."

"Is that his real name?"

"Why?"

"I think I know him."

"Well, his real name is.."

"James Bass." I interupted her.

"You do know him, but how?"

"I ran into him at an airport a few years ago, he was in Ft. Wayne visiting some family. He was going back to Orlando to start a group. We sat and talked for the longest time." I answered.

"You knew him before he was famous." she said, cracking the biggest smile.

"Hey that's my line." I grabbed her and tossed her onto the bed, tickling her.

That was the day I found out that James had actually made it. I was happy for him, and proud in my own way.

On September the 12th of 98, I received the news that my mom was dying from colon cancer. She was deteriorating fast, the doctor said we would be lucky if she made it to Christmas. I felt so helpless, I was watching my strength and support waste away. One night in early October, the hospital called me, thinking it was her last night. I sat there that night holding her hand and watched MTV. "I Drive Myself Crazy" came on and I sat up. I watched closely, this was the first time I watched him perform.

"Do you love him?" she asked, eyeing me.

I snapped my head towards mom "What did you say?"

"You heard me, now just admit it."

"I.I.just forget it mom."

A few days later her kidneys started to fail, she wanted to talk to each of us kids. She started with the oldest (Holly) and ended with baby (me).

"Mark all I want is for you to be happy."

"Mom how can I be happy with out you here?" I said as I laid my head on her stomach and cried.

"Mark I will love you no matter what you are."

"Mom how can you not love me? I am your pride and joy." I said with a half smile.

"Mark are you gay?"

"Mom what would make you say that?"

"I see the way you look at him."

"At who?"

"James... Lance. Whoever he is."

Sobbing and thinking, I finally said, "Mom, I never looked at a man before I met James, but I think I could love him, so I guess that makes me gay."

"Markydoodle (mom's nickname for me) I have an unconditional love for you, always remember that."

I heard my sister Holly clear her throat and looked up to see my entire family there. I started to hyperventilate. My dying mother knew I was gay before I did and managed to get me to out myself to the entire family!

"How long have you been there?"

"Long enough." my dad said as he hugged me tight.

Everyone took it well. Mom did raise us to have an open mind. Holly said that I did need to tell the kids, so that I would not be put into a position to lie to them. Mom promised me not to die while I was there. I stayed there 24/7 for a week, I decided to go home on the night of the 17th. At 8 in the morning there was a knock at my door, I can remember feeling all alone as my aunt told me my mom had passed away. My best friend drove me in the funeral procession. I absent mindedly turn on the radio. "Music of My Heart" came on, laughing I said "Mom, I will be happy, I promise you I will."

Over the next few years, I drifted apart from my dad. He became a womanizing s.o.b. after my mom died. I did manage to find a few guys to date, nothing ever that serious, none of them would have met my mom's high standards. My job became very boring because I had perfected what I did. I was really trying to get a corporate position but kept hitting a brick wall. I managed a slow store and that was held against me. In September of 1999, I applied for a transfer to Chicago when we opened our new stores there the following spring. I was just in my office, daydreaming about James, when I got the call.

"Mark line 1, Mark line 1"

"This is Mark, how may I help you?"

"Mark this is Brad, the regional recruiter for Chicago, I was wondering if you could come to Chicago on the 5th and 6th of October to interview."

"YES, THAT WOULD BE GREAT!" I nearly shouted into the phone. I couldn't believe it, they were actually considering my application.

"OK, I will send you your tickets and a tentative schedule."

With that phone call, my life was changed again. Since I was flying out of the Huntington airport I decided to stay at Holly's the night before and let her drive me to the airport in the morning. Due to mechanical problems, my flight to Indianapolis would be over an hour late.

So here I am now, running again in order to make my connecting flight to Chicago. Why am I always running in airports, why can't I take a leisurely stroll? As I am running I hear some one scream "Oh my God, that's Lance..." And BAM! I hit another brick wall. I shook my head and think to myself 'Oops I did it again!'. I reached down to help up who ever I hit.

"Mark?"

"James?"

We hug, probably a little to long, and I then realize we are being watched. I whisper "James your adoring public awaits you and my plane awaits me". He hands me his card, "Call me."

I run (again) to the plane; and as I board, I realize that my ticket is for first-class. Seeing a full cabin I asked the flight attendant how long until we depart.

"It will be a few more minutes, we have a late arriving passenger." she answered.

After about 15 minutes she walks by me again. I am getting rather upset at this point.

"Excuse me, but I don't think I should be held up because some idiot is late getting here."

"Would it make you feel better if I gave you an autograph?" a voice asked from behind me

I whirled around to find James grinning at me. "Yes it would smart-ass."

He takes the seat next to mine and we started catching up on everything.

"So James, tell me, what have you been doing the last few years?"

"Oh nothin much."

"James don't you lie to me. So what is it like to be a member of BSB?"

"Haha, very funny." he answered. We sat for a moment in silence before I spoke up again.

"James it's good to see you again."

"Mark, I have often thought about you, what you were doing, whether you succeeded or not. I often thought I would see you sitting in a crowd some night."

I jokingly replied "Yeah right, the only guys that go to your concerts are either chaperones or are gay."

"Mark since you know how my life turned out tell me about yours."

I started to tell him about my last 5 years. When I finished we both were crying, he reached up and wiped my tears with his thumb.

"So James what brings you to Chicago?"

"Auditions."

"Who quit?"

"No one quit." he answered with a laugh. "They are for a my new management company, Freelance Entertainment."

"So you can sing, dance, and manage other talent, you never cease to amaze me."

"Well, after the lawsuit with Transcon and Lou Pearlman, I decided that I needed to prevent that from happening to anyone else. Plus I know that this ride will eventually end. What brings you to Chicago?"

"I have a job interview, I am trying to transfer here next spring."

We laugh and talk the rest of the flight, 'God, I feel so comfortable around him!'. As we get our luggage, we both say at the same time "How long are you in town?"

"Two days."

"Want to have dinner?"

"YES"

"I should be done with my interview around 4"

"Meet me at the downtown Hilton around 6"

"See ya, James"

"Bye"

The next day I met with Brad and Bruce (the district manager), it finally dawned on me who Brad was. Brad used to be a fellow special projects manager.

"Brad, What have you been doing?"

"Oh not much, I was hoping that you were the Mark I knew"

Brad starts whispering to Bruce. Bruce introduces himself and starts the interrogations. After a few hours he finally starts to offer me the job.

"Mark, we are a little hesitant to bring you here because these stores will do 5 times the volume you are use to. After talking with Brad and your current DM we believe that if you came here as a co-manager for a few months you would make a perfect fit. Here are some numbers we would like for you to look over and let us know tomorrow"

"When would I start?"

"Immediately, but you would have the next 2 weeks to pack everything and move here. All the details are in that packet"

"Wow, I do not know what to say"

We chatted for a few hours discussing what exactly to expect in Chicago. I looked at my watch and realized I had to leave. This being the first time I was really turned loose in a big town. I hailed my first cab and was off to meet James.

"Do you have a James Bass staying here?"

"No"

"Do you have a Lance Bass"

"NO"

I pulled out James' card and decided to call his voicemail. I hear Justin laughing "this is James "poofoo" Bass", I hang up and walk over to the same receptionist.

"Do you have a poofoo here"

"Why yes sir, can I let him know who is here"

"Mark"

She calls his room and talks to him for a few seconds.

"Sir he is running a little late, here is a key to his room. Use the elevator on you left, this key is used to access the penthouse suit and his room"

A few minutes later I was knocking on his door. "Just a minute"

"Mr. Bass you should not keep your date waiting" I say laughing as he opens his door.

"So you are now my date" James says but thinks * I wish we could date *.

"Well you did invite me to dinner."

"Lets eat" James says as he pulls me towards the elevator.

We decided to eat at Bennigans on Michigan Ave. During the meal I decided to look at the offer. I pulled out the paper and looked at it, I just kept staring.

"This must be a typo"

" Why do you say that?"

"They offered me 20k more then I currently make, raised my bonus from 12% of base pay to 18%, and increased my stock options from 300 shares a year to 500"

"Are you going to accept it"

"I think I am, I mean this is a real good opportunity, both financially and professionally."

After dinner we walked around the downtown area. We decided to visit the art museum. Lance would stop from time to time to sign autographs while James took his time to appreciate the art. We go to a near by Starbucks for a cup of coffee.

"I just do not see how I can get everything done in 2 weeks. I need to pack everything and move it to my sister's garage and I would like to visit with all of my friends and family."

"Have someone help you"

"Ok smarty pants, my friends and family all work. I will just tell them I need 3 weeks"

"I know this friend of yours that happens to have the next few weeks off with nothing to do"

Catching his hint, I decide to pull on his chain, "Do you think Justin would help"

"You would not want his help, he is too girlie"

"You would not mind helping me, you will be exposed to my family (we can make Jerry Springer look tame) and to Kristen, who now thinks that 98degrees is the best boyband out there."

"No I do not mind, as long as you can have me back here on the 20th, the group is meeting here for the weekend. We are going to tape a Christmas special with Oprah on Monday the 23rd."

"Well ok I guess, we need to change your flight I fly out at 11 tomorrow night to Cincinnati, then on to Huntington. I will be free most of the afternoon with nothin to do"

"If I scratch your back, you have to scratch mine, you will be at the auditions tomorrow evening. We will leave for the airport after the auditions. So be here around 4"

"Ok, I got to go, see ya at 4"

"Bye"

I decided to get another jab at him "goodnight poofoo" bursting up " I have been dying all night to do that".

Next night after the auditions " so what did you think?"

"That second guy was hot, I mean great"

"I thought so to, I think I will have Stacie come up here and try to sign him"

While the plane taxied we chatted about what all I had to do during the next few weeks. Once we were in flight we were sound asleep. I do not remember much about changing planes. I woke up when we were landing in Huntington. James was sound asleep with his head on my shoulder and his arm on my thigh, damn I could get use to this boy. I decided to wake the angel.

"James wake up, come on James wake up"

"I am up, are we there yet"

"Yeah, now lets go"

Let me tell you a little about the Huntington airport, they only let crop dusters land there, there is only one ticket person, who loads the plane, who takes your ticket, and who passes out the peanuts. So the place is deserted especially at 3 in the morning.

"Mark, where is your sister"

"If I know Holly she is outside waiting in the fire lane," I said as we exited the airport, sure enough there was her van. She puts down her window as I approach.

"Holly I hope you do not mind if I brought a friend to help me pack."

"Of course not," she says getting out to open her tailgate, " hi I am Holly and you are."

"James."

The light hit James in the face and Holly saw him for the first time. "Oh my god" her chin hits the ground.

"Holly, close your mouth before a fly lands in there. So do you now believe me when I said I knew him before he was famous"

Holly was in full starstruck mode the entire way home.

"Guys I need to warn you that Kristen is hosting a sleep over"

"They are probably asleep, and will leave before we wake up so there should be no problem" James says.

As we enter the house I ask, " what are the sleeping arrangements?"

"Well Jason is sharing Marshall's room, all of the girls are in Kristen's room, so James can have Jason's room, and you brother dear can have a couch."

"Mark we are adults we can share the bed"

"Holly, quick get the Enquirer, a member of Nsync asked me to share his bed"

"Mark sleep is all we will be doing, unless you're a good boy" he said with a smirk.

"I can not wait to tell everyone I got to spoon with Lance Bass"

"Mark you just called me Lance for the first time, why?"

"James is the friend I made 5 years ago, and Lance is the teen idol"

"Thanks for seeing the real person"

We both striped down to our boxer briefs. I managed to get in a quick peek. James kept his wife beater on while I took mine off. We slid under the blankets and quickly fell asleep. I started having an erotic dream about James. I was moaning and shouting for him to fuck me when I woke up.

Kristen walks in "Uncle Sparky, did you get. a boyfriend?" "Kristen what are you doing in here?"

"I wanted to know if you the got the job, but I will leave. Does mom know you have your boyfriend in here?"

"Yes I got the job, and no this is not my boyfriend"

James is lying face down with half his body on mine, facing away from Kristen and I. He starts to stretch. "What time is it?"

"Time to get up, but I advise you stay under the blankets"

"Why?"

"Because I am here"

Turning around he says " and you are"

"OH MY GOD YOU ARE LANCE BASS"

As she starts hyperventilating she turns and runs out the door. With 10 seconds I hear the screams and the running start. I got to the door in time to bolt it shut.

"James do you have a cell phone?"

"Yeah why?"

"Lets just say that I need to call hotel security and have these girls removed"

HE throws me the phone I call Holly's number, I can here the phones in the house ring. I also know that Holly only gets to sleep in on Saturdays. I just love waking her early on saturdays.

"Holly, you need to get your booty up here and calm these girls down. Make sure they stay here until Lance is ready to meet them. Also keep them away from the phone, the last thing we need is for Kristen to gain more friends".

Within a minute it gets quiet. Then Holly opens the door "boys it's safe to come out now"

"Thanks Sis"

James showered first, then I followed. We discussed what to do to keep his being here a secret. So we decided to give each of them an autographed CD and another one if it was kept a secret until he left in 2 weeks. So we decided to head down stairs to get something to eat. As we exit the room my 2 nephews come whizzing by. "Good mornin Uncle Sparky"

"Good mornin Uncle Sparky's Boyfriend"

"You assholes are dead," I shout at them. (Hey they are 17 and 20 so I am sure they have heard worst language).

As we walked toward the kitchen I here Jason ask, " mom what was all the commotion about"

"Well Kristin could not quite handle seeing Mark in bed with his friend"

Then Marshall spoke, "well who is he?, have you called the FBI to have him checked out"

"I am James Bass, Mark's good friend," James said pulling the boys in so his head was between theirs, then he whispered, "not his boyfriend"

The boys introduced themselves and were not the least bit starstruck.

"So Holly, where did you hide the girls and how many are we talking about?"

"In the mud room, and 6, why?"

"We need to bribe them"

The girls took the bribe but the boys saw this as a chance to raise themselves a few rungs on the dating ladder. They wanted to take Lance to the Wild Dawg Saloon before he left town. James agreed as long as I went along.

"So what are your plans for the next 2 weeks?"

"Well my boss wants me to have a meeting tomorrow to introduce my replacement. Then hopefully pack everything by Wednesday and move everything by Saturday. That will leave me Sunday and Monday to visit Aunt Sis, and Tuesday and Wednesday to visit Aunt Juby."

James spoke up, " I need to meet up with the band on Friday the 20th, so we are leaving on the 19th"

As James and I drove home he seemed in deep thought, a million miles from home.

"A penny for your thoughts"

"Well ok, Mark three times today I was referred to as your boyfriend, why?" My heart instantly climbed into my throat, I really thought I was choking "James, I am.I . I'm gay"

He sat silent for a minute then mumbled something, "so am I"

"Did I hear you right?"

"If you heard me say that I was gay than you did hear me right?"

"Mark, I can trust you?"

"James, I would never do nothing to hurt your career or you, our friendship is more important to me than any 5 minutes of fame."

I pull up to my house and we unload everything. I show James around the house and to his room. After about 15 minutes of quick unpacking we meet up in the living room.

"So Mr. Hawkins, what is on the agenda for tonight"

"Well Mr. Bass, I could call my best friends and see if they wanted to play some cards"

"Sounds great"

Matt and Jan agreed to come down and to bring some Mexican food. We had a few hours before they would get here so we just talked.

"Mark, when did you realize you were gay?"

"Well to start with I was not the first to realize it, that credit goes to my mom. She made me realize that I could be happy with a man. Before she died I promised her I would find happiness someday. And you James?"

"When I first met you" he mumbled.

"What was that?"

"After the band was popular"

"So how did your mom realize you were gay?" he asked.

Boy was I blushing, "She saw me watching your video for I Drive Myself Crazy". I must have embarassed him, cause he quickly changed the subject.

"Mark, can I use your phone to call Justin so he knows where I am at and so he can send us some CD's?"

"Sure, just leave a quarter by the phone"

"Hi, Justin, well yeah I plan to sign one of them, well I am in."

"Proctorville, Ohio"

. Got that, can you send me about a dozen autographed CD's, no I am selling them on ebay, yes I was spotted, ok let me check"

"Mark, Justin is all alone in Florida and wanted to know if he could hang here with us?"

"As long as there is no Brittany booty here and he helps out"

"Did you here that Jus, ok call and let us know your flight info"

"I can not wait for Matt and Jan to get here with my girl"

"You have a."

KNOCK, KNOCK

As I open the door I bend over and scope up my little girl. Who happens to be a longhaired miniature wiener dog.

"Did daddy's little girl miss him?"

The look on James' face was priceless. "James this is Matt and Jan, Matt and Jan this is James, and this little fur ball is Pixie Rose"

We devoured our food and started playing cards.

"Still no baby, isn't it over due"

"They plan to induce the labor on the 11th, you will be there?" Jan asked.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world"

We played UNO for awhile, they had no clue who James was. I decided to drop hints. I put the "NO STRINGS ATTACHED" cd on. James did that thing with his arm during "BYE, BYE, BYE", still nothing. So he decided to sing the course on "This I Promise You", he was starting to laugh so he looked down at the table as he sang. I was looking at my cards, Jan was the first to catch on. She kicked Matt under the table and nodded towards James. It took Matt a few seconds then his eyes popped out. Matt has always been a prankster so I did not surprise me when he said.

"Mark, can you switch the cd, you no how I can not stand listening to a boyband?"

James looked hurt, and then Matt started laughing. "Gotcha"

After telling James a few of my most embarrassing moments they left. James and I went to our respective rooms to get some shuteye. The next afternoon we left for Columbus to pick up Justin, we decided since they were here with no security that it would be better to have just one of them in the crowded airport. So I went in by myself to find Justin, who has no idea what I look like. I go to his gate and wait as everyone exits the plane. I spot him wearing a baby blue shirt, sunglasses, and a ball cap. Exactly what James told me to look for? I wanted to find out if Justin had a sense of humor, so I snuck up behind him, looked to make sure we were pretty much to ourselves and then I yelled.

"Oh My God, you are Nick Carter"

He freezes when he hears the first part fearing his cover has been blown, but starts laughing as I finish. As he turns around I say "Mark Hawkins at your service Mr. Timberlake" We shake hands and quickly leave before he could be spotted. We leave Columbus with just enough time to get to my meeting. Since the employees were already in the backroom, I show James and Justin to my office (which is in the front of the store and has a 2-way mirror so they could see anyone coming towards them). My employees are sad to see me leaving. I hand the meeting along with my keys to the new manager and leave.

"Trevor can you come with me to the office?"

Let me tell you a little about Trevor. First off how we met. I had placed an ad looking for a gay roommate. And he responded to it. He was 17 at the time so I told him no. But I did hire him at the store; he was a very hard worker. This town has several very closed minded people so I have always been overprotective of Trevor. As far as we knew we were the only gays in the town, and I was the only one who knew he was.

"Trevor, I have arranged, if you want to, for you to go to Chicago with me. You would start there as an assistant manager, but the opportunities are endless."

"Mark I can not believe you did that for me, thanks?"

"So will you be going"

"Is pigs ass pork?" Meanwhile in the office:

"Lance he is hot, have you got any yet?"

"Well he is hot, and he is gay, but he does not seem to be interested in me. I have dropped so many hints, I think the next thing I drop will be my pants to see if that gets his attention"

"Lance who is that stud he is talking to?"

"I think that should be Trevor, what I have picked up is that Mark has arranged for him to go to Chicago. And yes Justin he is gay"

"Are they a couple? I think I could like that red headed albino."

"I do not think so, Mark's family assumed that we were an item."

"Shh here they come"

"Trevor promise me that what you are about to see, will not be told to anyone."

"I can not do that, what if you showed me you had 2 dicks, I would burst if I could not tell anyone."

"HAHAHA, very funny smartass, just promise"

"OK"

"Well then Trevor I would like for you to meet James and Justin."

"I think I need to sit"

Justin looks like his brain is moving in full gear.

Trevor calms down and speaks, " Mark, how did you meet the studs , I mean guys"

"Is Trevor a little starstruck?" I say poking some fun at Trevor.

Justin starts to stutter" Trevor I think we know each other, does justinrandall1981 sound familiar"

Trevor starts adding 2+2 and comes up with 4 "Oh my god you are you, I never thought we would actually meet"

"So are you guys going to let us in on this" James ask.

Justin finally decides to answer him, " about a year ago we started chatting on a boyband chat room, I never thought we would meet, or that he would think I was the real thing"

"Is everything you said true?" Trevor asked Justin.

"Yes and you?" Justin asked while staring into Trevor's crotch.

"Yeah"

My mind starts racing as I look from Trevor to Justin to James. I remember telling Trevor that there was no way that the person he was chatting with was the real Justin. I notice James is looking back and forth between all of us. You see Trevor knew of my crush on James and I was wondering if he had ever told Justin who could have told James. James had told Justin his feelings for this cute guy he met in an airport and was wondering if he had told Trevor who would have told me. After a few minutes of this awkwardness I decided to speak.

"so then, Justin I take it you are gay, or at least that is what Trevor told me from your chats"

Justin (who is picking up that I know something) answers "yes".

James finally breaks the calmness " Guys I think we need to go and get something to eat, and discuss these revelations."

Guys take it easy one me, this was my first time writing. I would like to thank JC for all of his help and suggestions. Icq # 37279278 or email me at mem@eurekanet.com. All personal references are true, I did change things around to make the story flow better, I know nsync was touring this fall, but hey I am allowed to dream.
