We are going to take the few kids who are left for a water ski and this guy is going to get up once more. Pierre why don't you join us?" With a big grin, "The guys take on the lake. Anyway, I am looking for an excuse to give this guy mouth to mouth resuscitation."
It was so unexpected and said so matter of fact that the entire room broke up. "Your dad told me last night that you had changed. You have. You are my wonderful, happy son. Go, water ski."
A look passed between mother and daughter. It was one of resolve. "Marie Claire, let's do this together with this one. She picked up little Luc. He is going to be brought up with a different set of values."
Little did Timothy or his father know what was going to happen as the guys enjoyed their water skiing.
For them, the tension had broken. They had a great time. Timothy felt as if a huge burden had been lifted; he felt liberated for the first time in years. He had done it.
Jeremy wanted to yell out his happiness. He could have a normal life with his guy. Maybe a dirty weekend in a local hotel or motel after they left but he would always remember their night in the tent.
Present
Jeremy did well at first on his turn on the water skis. However, like many beginners, he became a little too sure of himself and he tried something that he had seen one of the young guys do. It went well at first but suddenly the skis dug into the water and he was unexpectedly submerged, floundering in the water. He swam to the surface to find Timothy and the Pierre laughing at him. Momentarily anger surged through him and then he realized what he had done and the trademark smile covered his face.
"OK you fucking idiots, what do I do now?"
Timothy was still chuckling as he answered his guy. "Jeremy, Jeremy watch your language. You sort of need our help."
"Alright, I made an ass of myself. What do I do?"
Slowly drawn out, "Better." Timothy explained that he could get in the boat or try to get back up on the skis from the water. Getting up on the skis from the water was more difficult but something that they all had to learn. Typically, Jeremy decided that today was his day to try and learn the procedure. Timothy gave excellent, detailed instructions but warned him that he might have to try it a couple of times as often the first time didn't work. Jeremy was strong and was determined to do it the first time. He was right. He was back up and skiing. He could hear the cheers from the dock.
Again typical of Jeremy, he did a couple of things and then decided that he would repeat the one that had caused him to fall. It wasn't graceful but he ended still skiing with a big smile. He got the thumbs up from both Pierre and Timothy. As he made a perfect landing near the dock, all the guys were congratulating him on what he had done. As Timothy climbed out of the secured boat, he had the sweetest smile on his face.
They all walked up to the cottage, enthused about their morning water skiing. The two guys with Pierre's help cleared out the tent and took it down and took all the equipment to the storage shed.
The two guys decided on a shower, separately. While they were in Timothy's room. Jeremy decided to make some suggestions.
"Timothy, you really are going to leave with me?"
Making his voice almost pitiful, "Do you want to spend this holiday weekend with me or by yourself? Lonely and horny. At least that is how I'll be without you." They both laughed.
"OK, I have a suggestion. Let's find a hotel in the area and have dirty, hot, sexy, wild weekend together."
"Danny would be proud of you. A dirty weekend. You really are my kind of guy." He leaned over and gave Jeremy a kiss.
They broke the kiss as they heard a throat being cleared behind them. It was Pierre. "Would you two stop this immoral activity and take your shower, I'm hungry and want one after you." They rushed him and tickled him until he was almost crying.
Jeremy went into the kitchen to help Mrs. M. Timothy had forgotten something in the boat. Having found it, he came slowly back up the hill. He saw his father pacing on the front porch. He decided that he would use that entrance.
He had only just stepped in and his father stopped on the spot and stared at him. "This is all your fault!"
"What dad?"
"Your mother and sister have roasted me for my behaviour. My behaviour. Yours seems just fine."
"Dad, all I was doing was being honest. I really hated having to lie about myself and where I was going and doing in late May and June. Surely I get some credit for that!"
"Your behaviour is your choice of being in a gay relationship."
"Dad, I don't think that we should go over all this again. My only choice that I have made was to tell you that I am gay."
"The church says that being gay is a choice or something to overcome."
"Dad, you know my answer to that. I am going to lunch with mom and MC. I hope that you will join us. Jeremy and I are leaving soon after lunch."
"Where are you going?"
"We haven't decided yet. Possibly we shall find a room in a local hotel or go back home."
"Home?"
"Jeremy's, Dad."
"You can't go to a local hotel. You might be recognized."
"Dad, I am out. Some know at work. I have been to dances with Jeremy; his friends know. I went to church last week with Jeremy's entire extended family and then to lunch; they welcomed me with open arms. I feel part of their family. I don't intend to flaunt it but I don't really care who knows what. I shall no longer deny that I am gay. I feel free for the first time in years."
Again his father was left speechless; there was no regret in his son's voice. He was rejecting many of his father's beliefs. He sounded confident and firm. His father didn't understand this new version of his son.
Timothy decided to act as if nothing had happened. "Dad, I think that Mom has lunch ready. Come, join us."
He walked quickly to the kitchen. He just loved the sight. Jeremy was helping to prepare food, talking amiably to his mother with odd comments to Marie Claire. Pierre gave him a smile as he fed Luc with a bottle. This what he had dreamed of. If only his father could see this through his eyes and not through the lenses of church and common prejudice.
They decided to take it out to the porch. There was a lovely breeze and that fresh smell off the lake. Jeremy wished that they didn't have to leave. This was perfect but he understood that the tensions of them staying would break the spell. Timothy's father quickly filled a plate and retreated to a corner and without talking, looked out towards the lake, seemingly content to leave them to themselves and retreat to his own world. Jeremy actually felt sorry for him.
The conversation did not flow as easily with the presence in the room; it seemed a little forced. Jeremy knew again that his bright guy had gauged the situation really well. A little plan formed in his head for at least one of the days if they could find a hotel near by, hopefully close to a lake.
By degrees, the looming presence receded and they were soon chatting and joking. Everyone seemed more at ease. The meal came to an end and they all knew what was going to happen next. Jeremy and Timothy made Mrs. M sit still and they made several trips back and forth until the table was empty. Without saying anything, they left to finish packing and brought their gear out to the kitchen.
Timothy had made a quick trip to the porch. "Guys, it is time."
They came into the kitchen. As he expected, one person was missing. Timothy and Jeremy looked at each other and Jeremy touched his shoulder and whispered, "maybe another day".
The goodbyes were heartfelt. Mrs. M gave Jeremy a big hug and whispered to Jeremy as she hugged and then kiss him, "Take care of my son. Please include us in your plans. You know how I feel about you and my very happy son."
There were tears in both mother and son's eyes as they embraced silently. Then, "Take care my love. Thank you for your honesty. Jeremy is a wonderful man."
There were more tears and goodbyes from Marie Claire. Pierre told the guys how much fun that he had had with them.
As they walked to the car, Jeremy put his arm around his guy who was holding back the tears. They stopped by the their cars. With a little smile and tear streaked face, Timothy summed it up. "Well, you are a part of most of the family."
Timothy knew of a hotel that he would like to try first and so he led the way with Jeremy following close behind. They arrived around 2:30 and parked and went in. They agreed that Jeremy would go to the desk and see if there was a room. Timothy sat on a chair and watched. When Jeremy turned, there was a smile of victory. There had been some cancellations and they were very pleased to let out one of their lake view rooms. It turned out to be on the ground floor with a little patio and as Timothy triumphantly announced on entering the room, it had a huge king size bed.
They settled in and decided to go for a swim in the lake. It was such a relief to be out of the chalet with all the tensions and tip toeing around the elephant in the room. After the swim, they lay in the sun for a while. Finally, Jeremy realized that Timothy had moved. He opened his eyes to see Timothy on his side staring at him.
Jeremy looked at him. Timothy innocently asked, "Do you remember what you promised me."
"A quiet, relaxed afternoon in the sun, followed by a nice supper and then some reading in the lounge."
"In the inimitable words of Danny, screw that."
"Yeah, or we could do that."
Timothy was up like a flash. "That's more like it!"
They entered their room and Jeremy looked at the bed and jumped on it like a kid and just kept bouncing and laughing. Timothy joined him. All the nonsense of the last two days, weeks, the secrets, the plans, the carefully watched language and actions melted away in their frenzy of bouncing. They ended by slowing down and finally grabbing each other and kissing madly.
What happened next had never happened to either guy. They lost themselves in each other. "Jeremy, thanks for putting up with all this crap since that movie. I feel free and you are the one who has done it for me. It has been a crazy, fucking month. I don't know if I could have stood up to my father without you there waiting for me. It feels so great."
Timothy kissed him, kissed him and kissed him.
Finally, Jeremy could get some words in. "Timothy, it is you who has grown and given me so much. I never thought that I would ever meet anyone. Dad, Jamie, has had an expression when I am down. Jeremy, some time, some place, someone. You are my someone. I love your mother and MC. Pierre is great. If your dad has any brains, he will come round at some time. We can be free together." He paused looking at him. "I told your mother that I was in love with you."
For Timothy, those last words were truly the spark. He shoved Jeremy onto the bed and stripped him in seconds telling him how much he meant to him, Timothy kissed him all over his body.
Finally, Timothy scrambled off the bed and slowly stripped in front of a moaning Jeremy. Jeremy loved to see that swollen cock pulsing as he moved or as blood pulsed through it. Jeremy too scrambled out of bed and was on his knees in front of his lover. Timothy whimpered as Jeremy lightly licked and then sucked the head of his cock. He was not totally gentle as his hands at first, gently touched Timothy's balls and then roughly, he pulled and squeezed them. Timothy was almost incoherent.
"Jeremy take me. I need you." Timothy lay on his back looking up at Jeremy. "You are so incredibly sexy. I love that intense look that you get, at times like these." He chuckled at Jeremy's look of surprise. "You have it at other times too but not as intense, almost smouldering now. I love it."
"Your father is right. You have changed since we first met at Jake's party."
"I don't know if that is good or bad but you are responsible. You have treated me like a man and a lover." Tears collected in his eyes.
As Jeremy slowly entered him, he bent down and kissed the tears away. "You are my love. My whole life has changed. I was so proud of you with your mother and your father over the last few days. I am sure that I could not have kept my cool with your father as you did."
"I just kept thinking of you and what we have done together over the last month. Enough! To the task at hand." As he had done the first time, he put his hands on Jeremy's butt and pulled him in. This time it was not slowly. He wanted to feel the fulness. He wanted to feel that feeling of being joined with his guy, his love.
After that, it was slow and deliberate; Jeremy paused several times. By the time they finished, both of them felt as if every nerve in their body was on fire. Timothy's legs were over Jeremy's shoulders. The angle and the penetration was beyond explaining. He felt Jeremy's body stiffen and his breath held so Timothy took himself over with his hand. It was such a wonderful release and incredible pleasure. He reached up and pulled Jeremy' head down and their lips met and they kissed as Jeremy's face alternated between pleasure and pain. They lay together for many minutes laughing and smiling at the incredible experience.
At some point, Jeremy rolled off his lover. They woke from their short nap wrapped in each others arms. They kissed and decided to have a quick shower and then go and eat. They both knew that the dirty weekend would continue after supper and a romantic walk. It was hard not to hold hands and or slip an arm around the other but they knew that they had role to play outside their room.
The diner was surprisingly good. Over a coffee and pastries, Jeremy broached an idea that he had. "Timothy, I want so badly to spend this weekend with you but I think that we can and should share it. I would like to invite your entire family for lunch or maybe brunch on Sunday. We can invite them all and who comes, well that is up to them. It will be our treat and our way of thanking anyone who comes for their support and love. It will be fun."
"I just never know what is going on in that brain. Why don't we finish this out on the patio and I'll give MC a call on her cell and then my mother on hers. So they had the waiter bring out their coffee and pastries outside. Jeremy loved to listen to the excited tone and real love his sister had for him. They thought that brunch was excellent. Timothy explained that they had a room with a patio and a large bed if Luc needed it.
Then he phoned his mother's cell phone. He stressed to her that this invitation was to everyone in the family. She said that she would come no matter what but suggested a call to his father. So with a bit of trepidation, he phoned his father. He tried his best but his father remained intransigent. Timothy ended the call saying that he was sorry that his Dad felt like that but he accepted it.
Timothy seemed a bit quieter but as they walked in the deepening dusk, Jeremy took his hand and they walked hand in hand around the lake. There were a few others walking and only one couple looked a bit surprised at two guys holding hands. Again, Timothy felt alive and knew that he had made the correct decision.
They had a great Saturday together. There were some tourist attractions in the area and they visited each one. The Zoo was small but they had fun being together and watching the reaction of the kids to the ostrich and giraffe. It was a rescue zoo that took in animals in trouble in one way or another. They sat on the patio of a local pub and had typical pub food but it tasted all the better knowing what this day was. Their first full day by themselves as a couple. Each knew that for a fact.
Of course, they had to return to the hotel in the late afternoon to continue the dirty part of the weekend. It was slow and intense again. They went to bed that night after another good dinner and another hand in hand walk around the late at late dusk. Jeremy even put an arm around Timothy at one fairly treed area and only dropped it when they heard another couple approaching.
They continued the dirty part that night starting in the shower and finishing it in front of the clouded, mist covered mirror in the bathroom. Both felt like exhibitionists as they took each other while they watched. Exciting, romantic and sexy. Timothy took Jeremy in the morning with Jeremy kneeling over Timothy and riding him in breathless abandon.
They were dressed and ready for the arrival of their guests. Mrs. M arrived first and alone. She made no apologies or any comment but Timothy could tell that she was upset at his father.
As they went into the dining room, "Timothy, I feel as if we are imposing. You said that you were going to spend the weekend together."
"Mom, that can mean a couple of things. A weekend together alone or a weekend together with people we love."
"Oh you sweet man. Is Jeremy OK with this?"
"Hate to admit it but it was his idea with no prompting from me. I did tell him what a great, thoughtful person, he is. Several times."
Before they could take their seats. She rounded up the two guys and gave them a hug. Jeremy's look asked why.
"Timothy asked you up to the chalet so that we could meet you and see the kind of person that you are. Jeremy, you are like a second son already. I met my son and saw him as he really is for the first time. I love you both. You brought joy and good cheer to most of us. My husband will just have to deal with it. Now I see MC and family arriving. Let's have a great brunch."
Jeremy enthused about his water skiing exploits. Pierre was equally vocal about his outing with the guys on the lake. He too was an excellent water skier. They talked about the people who had come up and what role they played in their lives. There was fun and laughter and too soon the time to leave had come.
The guys had checked out before brunch and stored their gear at the front desk. They all took a stroll around part of the lake until Luc decided that he was hungry and needed a diaper changed. Jeremy had carried him a lot of the way and when they were back at the hotel he offered to change the baby. Timothy went into the bathroom with him. He was impressed by how accomplished his guy was with the baby and Jeremy soon had Luc smelling sweet and fresh and he was playing happily with the baby, like an old pro. He told Timothy that he had lots of practice with some of his relatives baby from earlier years when he was accepted by their families. You never forget how.
They presented a happy and clean baby to mom and pop. Jeremy gave the baby one last little kiss and tickle in the stomach. It was clear from the giggles and smiles that Luc had a new friend.
The hugs and goodbyes were long and a little tough for Timothy as he knew that life back at home was not going to be pleasant for a while. His father would not be easy to live with. So the hug to his mother was long and hard. She said again the same thing to Jeremy as Jamie had said to Timothy, 'take care of my boy'.
They waved until the cars were out of sight. Jeremy turned to Timothy. "I really like your mother and think that she likes me."
Timothy gave him an appraising gaze. "Sorry, but she asked me some pointed questions and we had a little talk about that around the lake. She told me that she thinks that you are just a horny bastard after my gorgeous body. She figures that you have been forcing me to have intimate moments many times a day; she is refined and doesn't use the words dirty sex. I was at loss for words for her accurate insight. So, she knows all."
Jeremy was laughing hard. "You are such a hypocrite. I know her cell number and I think that I should phone her immediately to tell her that her son is such sexy bastard who struts around tempting me every minute that we are alone. I can't help myself."
He picked up his phone and punched in a number. Timothy grabbed the phone out of his hand but he heard his phone ringing in his pocket. He looked at the number dialled and handed the phone back to Jeremy and answered his.
"Hello, Timothy Malenfant, lawyer extraoridinaire. How may I be of service?"
"Mr. Malenfant, I have heard a rumour recently that you give very good head at any time of the day or night. I think that I might be in need of your services."
"I am not cheap. What is your proposal?"
"I suggest that you go home and get a change of clothes for work tomorrow and meet me at my palatial condo for supper and hot sex later. No charge for supper, a room overnight or my magnificent body."
They collapsed laughing into each others arms.
Timothy finally looked at Jeremy. "Best offer I have had since brunch, I guess I might as well take it."
"Watch it buddy. The offer could be off the table in an instant."
"OK, a kiss to seal the deal?"
They gave each other a quick kiss and they were off.
Timothy entered his parents' home. As soon as he stepped in, he realized that this place would never be the same. His father was not one to take his 'defiance' lightly. He tried to steel himself in advance but he knew that it was not going to be pleasant. He might have to take action. He knew that he had decisions to make. Then he told himself that that was for tomorrow and the next day. Now he had the end of the weekend with his guy. He hoped that whatever problems that he had they would not spill over and spoil what had grown between them. He would have to watch himself and be careful.
Stepping into the condo really did feel as if he was home. His welcome was even better. The moment he stepped in, he was enveloped in a hug and long kiss. It was Jeremy's way of saying that he was welcome and that he was wanted here. Timothy felt so good. His eyes shone and he felt so wanted and important. This guy completed him.
Jeremy had pulled out some food from the freezer and put it together with some of the food that Mrs. M had given them. They had kept it in their cooler in their room at the hotel. With a good beer, they had a wonderful meal. They laughed and talked about their great holiday together and started to plan some of their summer activities. Timothy steered the talk away from his home situation and Jeremy was not stupid and he too left the subject untouched.
Later, yet again, Jeremy was amazed at Timothy. His first reaction to him had been a nice guy but a little on the quiet side maybe even a bit timid. As they had joked back at the hotel, here was Timothy giving him head like he had seldom had it in his life. He gazed down at him. He seemed totally involved in his task of giving the best head that anyone could give. Jeremy had seldom felt so totally involved.
They woke the next morning and had a quick shower together. They were dressed and ready to go to work. They had agreed to meet for a bite to eat after work and Timothy would go home directly after it. They would meet again Tuesday for a quick supper and then a practice on the pitch. After that, they hadn't mentioned any plans.
Jeremy just felt that he had to say something about the matter he knew was on both their minds. They were ready to leave. Jeremy had Timothy come into the kitchen and sit.
"I know that you must be a little concerned about 'home'."
Timothy shook his head yes.
Jeremy took a breath. "Timothy remember that you have me behind you all the way. No exceptions. If there is a problem, share it. We are in this together. You are not alone. I would be so upset if you held back trying to protect me or to not bother me. I know your mother is behind you but there is only so much that she can do. I ... am ... here. You and I."
Jeremy stood, reached over and pulled him to himself. There were tears in Timothy's eyes. Jeremy smiled and gently rubbed them off. "You and I."
The day passed quickly for both the guys. Timothy received an email in the afternoon from his mother. She thanked him for lunch on Sunday and all the help during the party. She said some really nice things about how good it was to have Jeremy there and all the help that he had been. She did happen to drop in the fact that she and his father had come home late on Sunday. Timothy smiled to himself. This was an advance warning, subtle but it was there. It had two messages. One that she really enjoyed having Jeremy with them and that his father was not pleased with Timothy's absence on Sunday night. He thanked his mother quietly to himself.
Jeremy could sense that something was not quite right with Timothy as they chatted over a beer and some really good pub food. He finally asked.
"You can read me like a book. I received an email from Mom today. She really enjoyed having you at the party and after. Then I think that she gave me a warning. She happened to mention that they came home late Sunday. That was all it said but ...."
"So you weren't home for the night. All I can say is you and I. Together. Don't try to deal with this just by yourself. I have the odd good idea, suggestion."
"You have so many of them. I won't be good company until I face this. I think that I had better finish up and deal with this. Maybe I 'm wrong." Shaking his head, "Yea, sure ... right!"
With that out of the way, they mood lightened up and they had a good time together.
"See you tomorrow for supper and practice."
"Anything else?"
"We'll have to see. You know what I would like to do. You know it is sort of ironic. In June, I could have made up excuses but now, HE knows. I see your look; it is still better this way. You and I. The holiday weekend was really special. And so is this, being together." He paused and they both gave each other the look. Jeremy felt so good as Timothy walked reluctantly out of the pub. He wished that he could go with him so that he wouldn't face this alone but he knew that sometimes you had to do it that way. But he knew that he could do somethings. His refuge. He picked up his phone and dialled the number that he knew so well. Jamie answered on second ring.
"Jeremy so good to hear your voice. How did it go?"
"Dad, it was both as great as I could have hoped and awful. That is why I am phoning. I think that my guy is going to need some help and some people around him this week. He went on to give him the highs and the lows of the weekend."
"Jeremy, I can tell how happy you are and as usual, trying to help your 'guy'. Look, we don't have a lot on. When you know how it goes tonight, let us know and we shall work something out." There was a little pause. "Why do some religious people react like this? I know that religion is an ideology and ideologies have all the correct answers to life's problems. It never ceases to amaze me how intolerant some can be."
"Well, we have one now. The only saving grace is that Timothy feels free for the time in his life. I have told him that I am with him totally, he and I together, a team."
"I wish you were here for a big hug. Give one to your guy from us until we can do it later this week."
Jeremy felt a bit lost wondering what was happening at Timothy's home and if he would have a telephone call.
The call came around 9:30. "Timothy so good to hear your voice. I was on pins and needles all evening."
"I think that I was metaphorically pinned to the wall through and through with those pins. One good thing; I kept my cool. I only raised my voice once and didn't use any profane swear words. However, the words nonsense, stupid and unbelievable may have been used several times. It appears that this is his house and only my home if I obey his rules."
"His rules. I guess I should be sitting down to hear this."
"It doesn't matter. I sleep here by myself. If I chose to sleep elsewhere then I have made another choice. What do you think was the first choice that I made? Not hard to guess. To be gay. That was the first time I used the word 'nonsense'. Didn't go over too well."
"Hey you are still laughing."
"Just!" He sighed. "It's OK. I suspected this. My mother warned me quietly about things before he started. It was actually almost the entire July 2nd conversation, rehashed ending with another ultimatum. I have all my electronics ready to go into the car later tonight. In his frame of mind, I don't trust him. No change in plans for tomorrow. I shall meet you for supper and then the practices and I know how practice makes us so horny so who knows maybe I'll fall asleep and miss sleeping in my bed at home. That is if you want to keep up our usual routine."
"Hate changing my routines."
"Would you mind if I brought a change of clothes for going to work on Wednesday."
"Sounds like a good plan. What are you going to do after that?"
"Haven't made up my mind. I'll probably go to the Suites for a week or two until I can find an apartment. I'm not exactly broke."
Jeremy had already thought this through and he decided to stay quiet for the moment. He wanted to give his suggestion face to face when a lot of the emotions had died down or when other emotions had replaced the bad ones.
"If things go as I think they will, I may need some help on Thursday morning to get everything of mine out of the house. I have already collected all my personal documents that are not in my safety deposit box and I am going to put them in the vault at work tomorrow. I guess that I should have just moved out but I want it to be his decisions that forces me out. I don't ever want to give him the chance to say that I left."
"You really are a lawyer. Think smartly and quickly. Wish you were with me tonight."
"Probably would not be my best night."
"Just to hold you and let you know that I am with you."
"That I know. I have quite a few things to finish and I am bone tired." He sighed again. "Night. Sleep tight. Will probably have impure thoughts about you. Impure enough to be asked to leave the house."
Later, before going to bed, he loaded his car with all his electronics and put his documents in file folders and put them in his briefcase. He was as ready as he could be.
