"I hate New York," Justin sighed as he unpacked his clothes neatly into the drawer.
"You cannot hate New York," I smiled as I sat on my bed across from him. "It's beautiful, lovely city and."
"Britney's coming," Justin sulked as he plopped on the bed.
"And," I smiled as I punched him lightly in the arm. "You should be happy. You gonna get some."
"It's nothing like that, Josh. What happened at the VMA's was a mistake. I mean who knew alcohol would get me and Britney horny.again."
"And again, and again, and again," I laughed. "This is why you can't drink until your 21."
"Hey, how's the mystery man thing going," Justin smiled as he looked at me.
"Don't want to talk about it," I frowned as I got up.
"Ok, fine," Justin said.
He started to leave, and then he turned back around and sat on my bed.
"Before this whole gay thing," he started, "we used to be friend. You would be able to tell me anything. We were practically inseparable. I want that back, Josh. I miss thoughs days. I miss the days we would sit up late and talk about nothing. I mean you don't know a thing about what's going on with Britney and me because you spend all your time with Lance instead of me. I am not trying to consume your whole life, but I just want to be apart of it."
"You are apart of it," I replied.
"Then why don't I feel like it, Josh."
"It's complicated," was the only answer that I could think of.
"Well," Justin said as his anger started to rise, "it wouldn't be as complicated if I knew what was going on," Justin said just as he got up and walked out the room. Two minutes later, Joey came in.
"Hey, Josh," he said, with a fake smile. "You still want to do tonight?"
Tonight, Lance, and I where to double date with Joey and his mystery man, Jeff. Lance and I have been going over this for a while of how we were going to go over this plan. Lance and I were going to "break up" during dinner. I was scared and we, a little sickened at the depth of what I was doing. The "break up" was so that Lance can be single and hope Joey would hook him up with a friend or something.
"Yes, the plans are going," I said as I swallowed my emotion to jump into Joey's lap and admit my love to him.
Joey said cool and then ducked out of the room.
Justin reemerged with a smile.
"What's with the smile," I asked.
"I knew it was Lance," was all he said as he grabbed his jacket on his bed and left.
So, here is Lance, Joey, and I looking at the door at 7pm waiting for Joey's mystery man to enter the door. Was he tall? Was he thin? Was he short? Was he fat? Was he cute? And the most important question. Was he cuter than me? All this rolled in my mind as Joey and Lance talked.
"So, are you guys happy," Joey asked Lance.
"As happy as I could get with him," Lance said. "Sometimes I think we would be better friends than romantic interest."
Just then, Jeff Timmons walked up to the table.
`Shit, no,' I thought as Joey stood up.
"Baby," Jeff smiled as he kissed Joey on the lips.
"Damn," Lance said as he looked at me.
TBC.
Sorry about the delay. My imagination was on overload but it's back for now. Look for my new story "He-Bang," which has some connections to the story. I may even put both of them together soon, so stay posted.Cartoon
