Chapter 10

"The Currents is one of the many restaurants that we have here in the valley. Co-owners, Colin James and Michael Norton have no doubt become a team to keep an eye on. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and very friendly, the employees very warm and accommodating, and the food, excellent. Mr. James and Mr. Norton have taken some big chances with the décor of the restaurant and their menu, and it has paid off for them. When you get the chance to check out The Currents make sure you make reservations. Kudos to Colin James, Michael Norton, and their staff, five stars." Michael read as we sat around after brunch.

"I'm so proud of you two." Mom said.

Michael and I grinned.

"What'd your sister think?" I asked Michael.

"She loved it. She and Gavin will definitely be coming back." He answered.

"That's good." I said.

Kathy leaned over and kissed the top of our heads. "You two have done extremely well."

"Thanks Mom," Michael and I said.

"Do you guys have enough employees?" Dad asked.

"I don't think so. I want to hire a few more servers." I said.

"Babe your birthday's coming up. What do you want to do?" Jeff asked me. I smiled.

"A quiet evening at home with my men would be nice." I said. Michael made gagging noises.

Everyone laughed.

November flew by. We decided to have an early dinner the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving for the employees and their significant others.

Michael and I prepared everything for the dinner.

"Hey Jeff, hey brat," he said.

I smiled and kissed Jeff and Marcus. Marcus ran around the counter and hugged Michael.

"Happy early Thanksgiving Uncle Michael," he said.

"Same to you kiddo," Michael said hugging him.

"There was a guy waiting outside. He was looking for you." Jeff said to Michael.

"Nate's already here?" He asked excitedly.

"Nate?" I asked.

"Mr. Norton has been keeping secrets from us." Jeff laughed.

"I told you two about Nate," Michael argued.

"No, you didn't." I said.

Michael was about to say something as I cut him off, "I would remember you telling us about Nate." I said. He laughed.

"Okay, fine. I didn't tell you guys about him." Michael said. "Marcus, go get Nate and bring him in here please."

Marcus ran back into the dining room and came back pulling a tall brunette with bright blue eyes.

"Dad and Uncle Michael have been cooking really good food." Marcus was telling him.

"It smells good." Nate said with a big smile. He looked at Michael and grinned wider. "Hey sexy,"

Michael smiled shyly and blushed.

"Whoa! I've never seen Michael blush." Jeff said with a laugh. Michael glared at him.

I held in a laugh.

"Hi Nate, I'm CJ and this is my boyfriend Jeff. Of course you've already met our son Marcus." I said holding out my hand.

"It's great to finally meet y'all. I've heard a lot about y'all." He said shaking our hands.

"I'm sorry to say we haven't heard much about you." Jeff said. "Michael here was keeping you a secret from us."

"I was trying to keep him away from my less desirable friends." Michael joked. We all laughed.

"I would've never thought he considered you two his less desirable friends." Nate said. "He always talks so highly of the two of you."

"You're not supposed to tell them that Nate." Michael said.

We laughed.

"You're such a softy." I said.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving Michael and I were holding interviews. We sat in the bar talking about some of the applicants we've talked to already.

"Hi guys, there are two more applicants here for you." Whitney said.

"Bitch, that guy was hot." Michael said.

"I'm not looking for hot people that are going to treat our customers like crap." I argued.

"Yeah, you're right." Michael agreed.

"It's the customers that bring in the business and if our employees are going to treat them like crap do you think they'll want to come back?" I said as I looked up to Whitney, one of our hostesses. "Sorry guys,"

"Guys, this is Danny and Rachel." Whitney said. We stood up to shake their hands.

"I'm Michael Norton,"

"And I'm Colin James. You can call me CJ." I said with a smile.

"My name is Rachel Bradford." A pretty petite blond haired girl said.

"And I'm Daniel Harris," The cute young college guy with her said.

"Have a seat, let's talk." Michael said.

We spent the time getting to know Daniel and Rachel.

"So, this would be your first job?" I asked.

"Yeah, I don't have the experience but I do have the drive to learn and work hard." Daniel said. Michael and I smiled.

"If we were to offer you a job, what could you do to help our restaurant?" Michael asked.

"I'm very outgoing, personable, and hard working. I'd try to prove to you that you didn't make a mistake in hiring me." Rachel answered.

We both looked at Daniel.

"I'm easy-going and laid back. I understand that it's not the food that pays my wages but the people that come in to eat it. Even though I may be inexperienced I'm eager to learn." He said.

Michael and I nodded at their answers.

"I'm hungry. Are you two hungry?" Michael asked them. They both nodded.

"We were going to have lunch after the interview." Daniel said.

"Are you two dating each other?" I asked them.

They looked at each other and laughed.

"I don't have the right equipment for Danny." Rachel said with a blush.

"And I don't think my boyfriend would be too happy with me dating someone else." Daniel said.

Michael and I laughed.

"Why don't we get something to eat and we'll talk more." I said.

Michael stood up to grab some menus.

"Hey Dad," Marcus said running over and hugging me.

"Hey Kiddo." I said kissing the top of his head. "Where's Dad?"

"He's talking to Uncle Michael." He answered.

"Sorry babe, he wanted to say hello." Jeff said as he walked back with Michael. I stood up and kissed him.

"It's okay sweetie." I said. "Daniel Harris and Rachel Bradford, this is my boyfriend Jeff and our son Marcus."

Jeff smiled and shook their hands.

"We were just coming to get something to eat since we were out shopping." Jeff said.

"Well, you two can join us. We were just about to order some lunch." Michael said.

"Do you work for Dad and Uncle Michael?" Marcus asked Daniel.

"Not yet, I'm hoping to though." He said.

"Is Rachel your girlfriend?"

"No. I have a boyfriend, his name is Seth." Daniel answered.

"Do you have a girlfriend Rachel?" Marcus asked her.

"No sweetie, I have a boyfriend. Lance is actually out shopping with Danny's boyfriend." She replied.

Michael and I spent the time getting to know Rachel and Daniel over lunch. Jeff and Marcus left once we were all done and after he went around and said hello to all the employees working. Michael and I walked my family out and talked over the two new applicants.

"I like them. They've got great personalities." Michael said.

"Even though they lack experience I think they'd do well." I said.

Michael looked at me and grinned.

"Then it's settled." He said as we walked back in.

We both sat down at the table.

"You've both got great personalities." Michael said then paused.

Rachel and Daniel looked down at the table their smiles disappearing. I punched his shoulder.

"Ow bitch!" Michael said. Nick, the bartender laughed. "Keep it up Nick,"

Nick laughed louder.

"We want to offer both of you positions. Rachel we want to offer you the hostess position and Daniel we want to offer you a server position." I said to them.

They looked up and smiled.

"You both have great personalities and we think that what you lack in experience you will learn given the opportunity." Michael said.

I went over what they'd need, telling them that they needed to get their alcohol awareness card, sheriff's card, and health card. Once Daniel and Rachel left after filling out applications we cleaned up our papers and got ready to leave.

"Do we need to hire more people?" Michael asked.

"I've got a few more interviews set up this week, but after this week we should be done hiring for now." I answered. Michael looked at me. "No, you don't have to sit in the interviews with me."

"Thank God!" He said. I laughed.

"Saturday, I'm not coming in. But if Jeff or Marcus calls, I'm in an all day meeting with people about the restaurant." I said. Michael looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

I explained to him what I was going to be doing.

"That is so sweet. Are you going to be okay doing that by yourself?" He asked worriedly.

"I'll be okay. I really won't be by myself." I said.

"True." Michael said. "Well, good luck with that. I hope it all works out."

"Thanks Mikey." I said.

The rest of the week flew by with a few interviews each day. I hired a few more servers.

By the end of week I was tired. Walking into the dimly lit apartment I noticed candles lit on the dining room table.

"Jeff? Marcus?" I called out.

"Hey babe," Jeff said walking out of the kitchen. I smiled at him.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me sweetly.

"Mmm... What's all this?" I asked.

"Lupe is watching Marcus for the night. You and I are spending some quality time together. It's been awhile since you and I had time for us," he said.

"I'm sorry about that sweetie," I apologized.

"It's no one's fault babe. We've both been busy with work and with Marcus' extracurricular activities. We're parents now, it's expected. But, Lupe has agreed to give us a night like this twice a month." Jeff said.

I smiled and kissed him deeply.

"Sit down, I'll be right back." He said walking back into the kitchen. I had just realized that there was soft piano music playing. I closed my eyes and unwound.

"Whatever you're making smells great." I said.

"It's just chicken and pasta babe," Jeff laughed.

He walked back in holding two glasses of wine. Handing one over to me, he sat down and looked at me.

"I love you Colin," Jeff said. I smiled.

"I love you to Jeff." I said.

We both took a sip of the white wine. I grabbed his hand and held it, rubbing my thumb over the back of his hand.

"After dinner we'll take a nice hot bath." Jeff said.

"Sounds great," I said.

He stood up and pulled me to my feet.

"Go have a seat and I'll make our plates." He said. I nodded and walked over to the dining table.

"Mmm..." I moaned as Jeff massaged my shoulders as we sat in the huge tub in our room.

"How are you feeling?" He asked between kisses he placed behind my ear.

"Much better," I said.

Jeff's hands slid from my shoulders and he wrapped them around my chest, moving them southward. I leaned further into him, relaxing my head on his shoulder. Jeff's hands manipulated my semi hard cock and balls. My hands were busy rubbing up and down his thighs as he placed feather light kisses on my neck.

"Let's dry off and go to bed." He whispered hoarsely.

I stood up and stepped out of the tub quickly and started to dry off. Jeff laughed at my enthusiasm.

"What? It's been awhile." I said.

Jeff continued to giggle as he dried off.

"And tonight..." I said kissing him. "You're making love to me."

"Anything you want babe." He said.

He grabbed my hand and led me to our bed. Turning me around to face him, he pulled me to him and kissed me with all the passion that he could muster. I involuntarily moaned into his mouth. I fell to the mattress with Jeff softly falling down on me. My body ached with anticipation to feel him inside of me.

"No foreplay, just make love to me." I said softly.

Jeff smiled and reached over to the bedside table, pulling the tube of lube out of the drawer.

He rubbed his lube covered finger against my hole, massaging it and slowly pushing in. He twisted his middle finger around my hole as he pushed it in and out. As I relaxed and my hole loosened he added another finger, continuing his slow assault.

Jeff stroked his hard cock greasing it up properly, getting himself ready as he continued to finger fuck my ass. He pulled his fingers from me and lined his lubed cock. Pushing in slowly, he stopped once his cock head popped in. Jeff waited for me to let him know I was ready. I opened my eyes and nodded, letting him know it was okay to push in more. I gasped as his cock slid in all the way. He stopped and waited for me to get used to his cock.

"You okay babe?" Jeff asked.

"Perfect," I said pulling his head to me and kissing him deeply.

His rhythm was slow and steady. There was no rush to our love making. My cock was trapped between our bodies, the friction of our bodies causing my hard cock to spew forth large amounts of precum. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sensations. When I opened my eyes again, Jeff was staring at me with a smile on his face.

"Damn! You're beautiful," he said. "I'm so lucky to have you babe,"

"No, I'm the lucky one Jeff." I said. We kissed again.

His cock kept stroking over my prostate and I moaned into his mouth continuously.

"I'm ready to cum sweetie," I said breathlessly.

Jeff picked up his pace.

"I'm just about there too babe," He said.

I pulled his mouth to mine and groaned as my cock started to shoot between us.

"Oh yeah," Jeff said as my ass contracted around his cock making him shoot deep inside of me.

We both laid there wrapped around each other.

"Thank you for making this night so special sweetie," I said softly.

"Anything for you Colin," Jeff said as his softened cock fell out of me.

I started to fall asleep as Jeff got up and went to the bathroom. He cleaned us off and blew out the candles before getting into bed.

"I love you Jeff," I mumbled sleepily.

"I love you too Colin." He said.

The next morning I woke up early and showered. I woke Jeff up when I was dressed and ready to go.

"Sweetie, I've got an all day meeting today. I'll be home later this afternoon." I said.

"Okay babe," Jeff said sleepily. I kissed him.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," he replied falling asleep again.

"Do you have any bags to check Mr. James?" the ticket agent asked.

"No, I'm just going there for a few hours." I said.

"You look a little nervous." She said. I laughed.

"I am. I just hope I don't upset this man anymore than he already is." I said.

"Good luck with whatever you have going on,"

"Thank you," I smiled as she handed me my boarding pass.

"You've got twenty five minutes to get to your gate. I'll call ahead and let them know you're on your way."

"Thank you very much." I said and ran off.

Thankfully the security checkpoints weren't busy. I took the tram over to the other terminal at McCarran International Airport and ran to the gate.

By the time I got to the gate I was out of breath. There were no other passengers waiting.

"You must be Mr. James," The ticket agent said.

I nodded as she took my ticket and checked me in.

"Enjoy your flight." He said.

"Thanks," I said and walked to the plane.

A few hours later I was driving through a city I had never been to, pulling up to a house in a quiet little suburb. I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell.

The door was opened by a man that looked very familiar.

"Can I help you?" The man said.

"Mr. Marshall? I'm Colin James." I said staring at the man Jeff would look like in thirty years.
